Had the pleasure of dinning at the Public kitchen and bar with my partner. Our waiter Ed throughly explained the menu to us. My partner is a celiac and Ed brought out a seperate menu for her and talked us through it and even gave us some delicious recommendations. Lots of vegan options, very clear on the menu and in their own vegan section. We were really surprised by the jackfruit taco, as I'm not usually a jackfruit fan, but it was amazing. The churrros are also a must try. Pros: Vegan (and gluten-free) churros!, Heaps of vegan options, Great mocktails (and cocktails)

Great fresh burgers and friendly staff. Had two rounds because the first burger was so nice Accommodating of Gluten Free (celiac) for the burgers. Chips are GF but unfortunately cooked in the same fryer as crumbed things.

Nice enough place food was good gluten free options available. I would say it is aimed more towards the younger customer .We are in the 55/65 bracket the music was loud and there were alot of younger people who were drinking and having a good time .

This place is a taste sensation. All of the dishes we ordered were delicious. I am severe Coeliac and they cater for this really well with lots of options. There was 1 mix up with this and part of a dish didn't arrive but when the food is this good they can be forgiven. Tim our waiter was amazing and there whenever we needed him. Amazing service. Delicious food, great service, and they were able to accommodate for a gluten allergy!!Ordered the Julio’s corned beef carnitas hash w/out the cheese (absolutely delicious), GF eggs benny w/ streaky bacon, and a side of the potatoes. Also got an iced latte and a coffee which were nice.

I thought the mushroom risotto I had was super delicious! It's gluten free/celiac friendly :) It has small pieces of mushroom and it's not overly mushroomy so even if you're not a big fan of them (like me) it's overall very yum. My family got the big breakfast, caeser salad, and chicken burger with fries and they were all happy with their meals. I would suggest you add the allergens such as gf to your menu please. The risotto only had (v) next to it.

I loved my experience at The Cow, the food is unbelievably good! The service is perfect! Leticia, who assisted us was extremely helpful, super friendly and kind! She was also really patient and careful with all my food restrictions. The vegan and gluten-free pizza is the best in Queenstown!!!! And my husband loved the garlic bread, the best he’s ever had!!! We will definitely be back! ❤️

Great spot, great views, great service and very well prepared and cooked seafood. We got a great seat with a view of The Remarkables which made our night even more special. Highly recommend, because we had them, the scallops, tuna loin, charred octopus with paua and mussels in green curry with rice as my partner is gluten free. Lots of options for GF.

We almost walked in through the service entrance but were gently redirected to the correct door by an actual service member. Without a booking, there was only bar seating available but we were pleased to be seated immediately. They have a ton of non-alcoholic and gluten free options! We enjoyed the salt and pepper squid, salmon and chicken sandwich. Definitely would have liked a seat looking out the window so be sure to get a reservation!

We had a beautiful relaxed evening at Bella Cucina! Ainsley was a dream, chatting taking jokes and keeping spirits high in general… she was attentive and great at recommendations! The wine and food was amazing! I ordered the risotto and it was perfect. Not loads of gluten free options but it was well and truly covered by the fact that the risotto was out of this world. Soo impressed with the service in Queenstown in general but honestly Ainsley was gorgeous and the pick of the bunch!

We booked our wedding dinner here for our small group of 8. Upon our arrival we were very warmly welcomed and given 2 glasses of bubbles on the house. The service was 5 star with a special mention to our server Harriett, who really went above and beyond to give us a run down on the menu and recommendations and was able to very confidently cater for our gluten and dairy free guests. The food was outstanding and everyone left full and happy. Harriet even helped us get a group photo out the front by the water, which turned out to be one of the best group shots of the trip. Honestly, worst experience in not just Queenstown but New Zealand overall. First it took forever to get seated and the Resturant was not busy at all. This should’ve been the first red flag. We ordered rose and a mocktail + water. They brought us a random bottle of white wine which we of course sent back and had to ask again for water. I ordered the bean dip as an appetizer & a Gerard Burger with chips (all gluten free). Come to find out the chips are not gf, even though it says it available option on menu. Then i was served a chicken burger which took forever to come, sent it back for the Gerard beef burger that I ordered. Finally while waiting for my burger the bean dip came. Literally it was like beans from a can that no one cared to heat up and the chips were so stale. I ate a few since we had been there for so long by then I was starving. Finally the Berger came! The waitress came to ask how everything was and we kindly gave feedback about the experience. Mostly the horrible bean dip, she said she would have the kitchen check the batch of chips. As we were checking out, they never comped the bean dip even though we clearly did not eat 97% of it. Just horrible experience, the standards are high in this area and they failed miserably. Don’t go here!

We hosted a group of 30 here and it was the perfect spot. The service was great and the outdoor area was perfect for a large group. Super chill atmosphere and beautiful. We took public transit from queenstown and it was a beautiful drive through a canyon and we ordered a sharing platter which everyone was very impressed by. They were able to accommodate gluten free diet too.

Without a doubt, the best Japanese restaurant that I have ever eaten at. The service is INCREDIBLE, the food is unbelievable and so so beautiful. One of the best restaurants experiences that I have ever had. If you were to go to one restaurant in Queenstown, this is it!! They are also very accommodating to dietary restrictions. One of us are gluten free and they were able to fully accommodate this. Dessert options are also amazing

Shrimp was definitely old. Smelt so bad I gagged, and you couldn’t get the poop lines out because of how old they were. My son got really bad diarrhoea afterwards, and shat himself when running to the toilet. My daughter wanted pasta so the chefs made her some gluten free pasta which was really nice. Plus, the dessert was really good and my daughter could eat most of it. The luge was fun for the whole family. My son lost his phone on the track, but the staff were quick to get it back to us.

Stunning location and cute cafe. However I ordered a gluten free and dairy free option. Part way through eating it I suspected it wasn’t dairy free. Waitress confirmed it wasn’t. I then ordered another option. I was charged for both breakfasts when we went to leave. A little frustrated as I’ve been unwell all day on my hens weekend on top of having to pay for two breakfasts 😔 This is a great spot to go but if you have any food allergies I’d suggest maybe giving it a pass.

With so many options in the area skip this place. They were rude, and served us gluten after a direct conversation about a gluten allergy. I try to keep most reviews positive, and the scallop on the sashimi plate was good, but the positivity ends there. Spent the day recovering from being served non-gluten free soy sauce after specifically having the conversation with the server about a gluten allergy. If you are allergic to gluten, skip this place. We knew the place closed at 3pm and rushed to get there by 2:40 pm for just a snack and a couple drinks. We were allowed to order, and requested that everything be gluten free. When the food arrived we tried to order a second drink but we were told the kitchen was closed.....it was about 2:55 pm at this point and we only tried to order drinks....again were told the kitchen was closed. The waitress was rude ... The food was below average for the price they are charging. The fish was average at best, and the rice was not sushi rice (just average white rice) There is really no reason to go to this place with a street full of great options where the people are super friendly.

Just what we needed. A group of 6, able to get a few different dishes. Tacos were tasty. Had the market fish. Steak fajitas was a hit. Gluten free churros impressive, especially the hit of chilli in the chocolate sauce. Chilli margarita hit the spot with candied chilli. But all not excessively spicy!
