As someone that only eats gluten free, this was hands down the best sushi experience of my life. Do yourself a favor and order the dynamite lobster roll. SO good. You’re welcome. Also the most basic sake on their menu, $7 on the happy hour menu, was the best sake I’ve ever had.

We ordered a gluten free peperoni pizza. It was one of the best gluten free pizzas I've ever tried. Warning: if you really cannot eat sny gluten or cross contaminated food, don't go there, they use the same utensils for all the pizza, even if the dough is gluten free you can get sick. The taste was amazing. The guys making the pizzas and the bartender were very nice. The neighbourhood at night looked scary and dangerous, even if inside the pizzeria was okey.

I absolutely recommend this place for the best gluten free fried chicken in LA! it’s so crispy and tasty we are 100% coming back here to try more items on the menu and to get the family bucket. The lady who served us was also so nice and kind. Everything we ordered was so tasty, even the pickle and the green sauce - outstanding. Can’t wait to come back for more. If you’re looking for great Pizza with a pretty relaxed atmosphere this is your place. They offer Vegan, Vegetarian, Gluten Free and regular options. They also carry a small selection of beer. If you’re Vegan I really recommend the Vegan Sicilian cheese, I also tried the veggie, pepperoni and mac and cheese but Sicilian cheese was definitely my favorite. My hubby is not Vegan and he also loved the none vegan options. They sell by the slice which works out great for us.

Finally went here with a friend, both of us have visited family in Italy throughout our lives (for me: Salerno region) and needed to catch up and vent over good food. This pasta is so good. Everything there felt like being g back in Italy and not the tourist traps. They even had stelline/pastina and bone marrow! We ended up getting bone marrow, tiramisu, and the Angus ragù and wild boar ragù pastas. Everything was incredible and I've had dreams about the tiramisu since. They also use really good flour here it seems because I'm someone who can't really digest most wheat, not gluten but all wheat in the US just makes me feel sick almost like an allergy. The bread and pasta here was the rare wheat outside of Italy that I didn't feel sick, I didn't feel bloated, I wasn't in pain for days. Just stelline-eyed thinking about when I could visit again and try the next pasta. Friend is the same way and said the same thing. I only wish they had little pasta flight samplers 😅 For allergies: they're very good. I have a shellfish allergy and cross contamination wasn't a concern and there were plenty of non-shellfish options that were fantastic.

Wurstkuche is one of the restaurants I’d recommend to anyone visiting LA. I’ve been going here for years now and have always had the most amazing experiences. They accommodate my gluten allergy so well here, simply making my sausage without a bun and also wrapped in foil so no cross contamination occurs. I love the kielbasa and have yet to try anything too out there, but they have some very interesting and exotic sausages such as the rattlesnake & rabbit one! Not sure if I’ll ever be adventurous enough to try that one! There tends to be a line every time I go, but there’s always enough room to sit, as they have a large front patio and plenty of seats indoors that’s free seating. I love how there are crayons and you can color on the tables! Parking is pretty terrible as this is a busy area in the Arts District, so I’d recommend ubering if possible, although I did get lucky and find parking right away this time around! Definitely check this place out as they are super accommodating, the atmosphere is great and the food is delicious!

Honestly so so bad. Do not go here unless you want to walk out feeling terrible in every way. For the longest time this was on the very top of my list of places i needed to try. I was so excited. I have a number of allergies and the menu seems amazing. However the food is really really not good, not even considering the cost. More than that, i finished it feeling more bloated and nasty than i have in a long time. So for all of the things they say they are, it seems like there’s something they use in their cooking that is not good. So not safe for those with sensitive guts. I got the rad thai, their take on pad thai and it was mushy and bad and almost tasteless. It came with a side of tasteless greens and tasteless and dry quinoa all for 31$. They used thin clear noodles instead of a flat noodle. Pad thai in and of itself is gluten free besides the soy sauce so it’s not hard to make a healthier version. Next time I know to make it at home because my god did they mess this one up. Just mush, no texture, no flavor, and 4 pieces of the tiniest broccoli mixed in and maybe 15 strands of carrot. $31. On top of that the cashier was unbelievably rude and short with me totally uncalled for. And also just… weird? She took my order and then later when it came out even though i was the only other person in the restaurant she half-yelled out “rad thai” “rad thai” a number of times in a really irritated voice. The whole time i was standing pretty much right in fromt of her and there wasnt anyone else and she was yelling out into the distance in an irritated voice. Like girl wth 😂. It was 7pm too it wasnt even late. Also while i was waiting for my order i asked about the ice cream and she was texting the whole time and pretended not to hear me the first time. And then was like so irritated rolled her eyes at me and like mumbled ill get to you get out of the way there are other customers here. There were no other customers. Tho some customers came in 2 minutes later, i guess she was pre-empting the future lmao. She was acting like this with me the moment i walked in. The ambiance is bad too. It is not comfortable at all to sit and dine in. That might be on purpose. I guess they dont want you there. So if you want to feel like garbage both in your head and in your stomach this is the place for you. Would give 1 star but 2 for what they represent. Glad there’s a vegan and supposedly healthy restaurant here but that’s all they can get credit for because you dont leave it feeling healthy.

One of the best vegan ramen in Downtown. I had white creamy ramen with very good gluten-free noodles. Also gyozas and avocado-veggie sushi with leafy salad with tasty vegan dressing - everything this was good! Pretty nice vegan menu for a reasonable price! Nice service, thank you!

Absolutely loved this place. Went with a big group and got most of the appetizers and everything was amazing 🤩 Loved the pear salad, the steaks, and they had this gluten free cheesy bread like starter that was so good. Most of the menu was gluten free or adaptable which was helpful for me.

This is the first time I’ve been able to eat Onigiri and—oh my goodness—it’s delicious! I have celiac disease and the people here were very accommodating. While there is not a gluten free menu, I attached their allergy cheat sheet (gluten, sesame seed & oil, nuts, vegan) to this review. I enjoyed the Umeboshi (sour plum) and Ume Takana (sautéed greens) Onigiri and I felt great after (no allergic reaction:) So, if you are GF or have other food allergies this place may still be an option for you, talk to the wonderful staff ✨ Also, this is just a super cute little restaurant with happy plants. Highly recommend the Okinawa brown sugar milk tea!

Had the most INCREDIBLE saturday morning brunch at JOEY DTLA. Was greeted with the utmost professional service when I arrived. You could feel the welcoming energy as soon as you entered the space. We sat on their GORGEOUS patio space. It was so nice, you honestly forgot that you were in DTLA for a quick second. You could have told me that I was in Tulum, and I wouldn't have batted an eye. Not to mention their delicious cocktails. We had the watermelon drink and the mezcal drink. Let me tell you, these were some of the most well-balanced drinks that I have had in LA. As I am vegan and my partner is gluten free, they had plenty of options for us, and were very accommodating to any adjustments needed! To make sure that everything went well, Isabel continued to check-in with our table to ensure that everything was going well. She was an absolute GEM!! It was like having a Guardian Angel walking me through the early afternoon, while I nursed the repercussions of a very long night. If anyone internally is reading this review, that lady needs a RAISE!!! You can tell that she cares about her team, about her guests, and you can tell that she has a HUGE HAND at making sure that everything ran smoothly. Her attention to detail with our experience, as well as making sure the kitchen and serving staff was well aware of our dietary restrictions. We were incredible grateful for her presence during our dining experience. Everyone was incredible, but Isabel's influence will have us coming back time and time again! THANK YOU ISABEL!! Incredible team. Amazing environment, and delicious food and drinks! What more can you ask for??!

I often use the Yard House as a go to restaurant when trying to accommodate a large group. They have lots of seating and a menu that can accommodate most dietary restrictions (I.e. vegan and gluten free). The food is decent but not special but the large selection is nice with a group. They also have a great selection of craft beer.

Absolutely delicious Mediterranean restaurant located right in the heart of downtown Los Angeles, making it the perfect lunch stop on a sunny summer weekend. All of their seating is outdoors, but you'll be shaded from the sun with their lovely olive green umbrellas, and the service is still incredible from the moment you take a seat to when you leave for your next LA adventure. You can order from a window in the storefront, and all of the utensils, napkins, and water is available at self-service stations on the edges of the restaurant area. All of their food is delightful and incredibly fresh. I enjoyed their hummus and tabbouleh plate, subbing out the pita for cucumber for their gluten-free option, and every single part of it was absolutely delicious! They were incredibly generous with the hummus, and the tabbouleh (which is made with quinoa and therefore also gluten-free!!) tasted incredibly fresh and all-around wonderful. Both the rich, creamy hummus and light tabbouleh paired perfectly with the super flavorful pickled turnips and radishes, olives, and marinated cabbage and onions. The cucumbers (or, if you aren't gluten-free, flatbread) were perfect for scooping up the last bits of hummus at the end of the meal and breaking up the saltiness and powerful flavors of the other parts of the platter. My parents tried out their hummus and grilled chicken plate, as well as their hummus and lamb plate, and they were both incredibly impressed by the quality of the meat (and flatbread) and the way both proteins paired with the hummus and pickled veggies. I really appreciate how clearly all of their allergens were marked, and the staff was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and accommodating of dietary restrictions. All in all, whether you're vegetarian or not, gluten-free or not, allergic to nuts or not, Dune has something for you, and I can guarantee that it'll be fresh and delicious.

Nested within Grand Central Market, a great find with gluten free past options. The Mac and cheese is what dreams are made of and such a good and cheesy Mac and cheese!! Definitely recommend. Their lemonade was great as well.

Stumbled upon this great place early in the morning. Had an amazing GF egg sandwich. The bread tasted home made, which is difficult being gluten free. I will definitely return when in the area again. The coffee was amazing.

This was an amazing experience. Service is top notch. I arrived straight from the airport and they were extremely accommodating and kind about holding my luggage for me for the duration of the meal. I have dietary restrictions, and multiple staff members also went above and beyond to ensure I could order within the parameters of what I can safely eat, and they were just really lovely about it and did not make me feel like a nuisance. The sumac lemonade and the mushroom dish were the highlights for me. There are multiple vegan options and multiple gluten free options. So special and I cannot wait to return.

Went this past week and had the tasting menu. I am gluten and dairy free and they accommodated flawlessly. Each course was unique, beautiful to look at, and memorable to eat. My friend had the vegetarian tasting menu and loved it, too. The timing was excellent, no rushing or hovering. Yes, the plates are small but by the end I promise you will be full. Highly recommend.

I ordered delivery with Uber eats so not sure how the place is inside. What I can say is OMG this place has THE BEST gluten free pizza!!! And it's actually thick crusted gluten free pizza!!!! I am so sick of nothing but crummy thin crust gluten free pizzas on a nasty cauliflower crust, but this place makes their own crust! They use actual gluten free flour and make thick crusted pizza!!! I was in literal pizza heaven! It has been so long since I've had yummy gluten free pizza! They need to teach the folks in Madison WI how to do pizza! I will be sad when I go home to WI since I have yet to find such good pizza there! Highly recommend these guys!!! My only suggestion is to make sure your staff knows what gluten free means if you have it on the menu. Had a little trouble talking to the staff about gluten free. They kept thinking it was like vegan.

The Checky Ramen was smooth, silky and well balanced. The chicken rest charsu was flavorful and had the prefect texture. The service was considerate and attentive. They walked me an my partner though ordering around our food restrictions. Best of all, they have gluten free noddles so my partner and I vould actually have Ramen together for the first time.

Delicious! Veggie & Gluten free menu. They have a separate gluten free menu. But you need to make sure to mention them you are ordering from there. Because the names of the items are the same, so I thought I ordered a gluten free item but it came with bread. To their credit they did bring me out a new one without any gluten quickly.

The lady who took our orders was super nice!! I got a chipotle chicken burrito - 10/10, lumberjack pancakes - 9/10 needs some pepper, and the cheesy egg sandwich - 5/10 they forgot the cheese. I’m traveling with my gran who has quite a few dietary restrictions and while they did make everything gluten free which is great, they did however grease the bread when asked not to and forgot the cheese so it was just egg and bread. Otherwise, I love my food so much and the coffee was great.

First off, for those with a gluten sensitivity or intolerance wondering what to get for breakfast: come to this place. At time of posting, your table has to sign up to a wait-list via a pad device (think iPad) then you'll be seated. Once seated, it's a matter of scanning a QR code that's on your table to order, yes, order your food. At this point, your card is charged and in after a ~10min wait, the food comes out. Excellent food, excellent ambience, and excellent service style.

Every time I am downtown, I always go to lunch at Amante's. The food is exceptional and I love their gluten free options. I also appreciate how each time I go there is something new in their decor. You can tell the owners really care about their restaurant and it shows! I highly recommend it.
