This is an amazing place for lunch or dinner! Almost everything on the menu is gluten-free except for a few exceptions like quesadillas and a couple of desserts. Even the Baja fish tacos are gluten-free!

Absolutely embarrassed this evening. Ordered two gluten free pizzas for a celiac friend to come over and watch the game and the pizzas were pitiful. They looked like they were made yesterday and where are the toppings? Dominos does a better job with their toppings.

We are visiting from CA and my husband was dying for BBQ. This place did not disappoint! I have to eat gluten free and there were SO many options. All meats were amazing. I also loved all sauces, but the spicy habanero one was so perfect with the vinegar dressed pulled pork. Our waiter, John, took it to the next level with service. Couldn’t be more perfect!!

We visit regularly - we love the breakfast , but it really depends on what you order. Service and staff is terrific and they accommodate groups. A definite plus is that they have Gluten Free choices that are delicious.

We've eaten here at least 5-6 times in the past few months and generally it's a very nice experience. Usually the servers are attentive and the manager (a very nice man whose name begins with J and looks like a football player I want on my team--sorry I forgot your whole name) goes out of his way to assist. A few flaws (not necessarily this meal) are that the spinach is VERY salty, so they accommodate us and steam it plain. We've had some undercooked fish/lobster/ and filet mignon, all went back and got recooked. That does detract from the meal but does happen and they always do whatever necessary to correct it. This current visit was exceptional--the greeter/hostess was absolutely RUDE and we almost left immediately. We were treated like we were an imposition and she clearly gave off a vibe that she did not want to be there or welcome us in. It was one of the worst greetings I can ever recall at a restaurant. She hoofed off in front of us when we requested the gluten free menu. She rushed off so fast I'm not sure she even heard us. Though the restaurant was mostly empty, she took us to a table we didn't like and didn't ask if the table was ok. When we wanted to change tables she once again gave us attitude. Fortunately, Charlie, the waiter was EXCEPTIONAL. Kind, attentive, and a great server. With almost no exceptions, every server we've had has been truly attentive as has the manager. Tara is likewise a wonderful and attentive server. The few flaws of the kitchen noted above, are taken care of when needed. We cannot emphasize enough how poor the hostess was and how bad this could reflect on an otherwise generally good restaurant. For a first time customer, the greeting we had would absolutely have been the last time ever setting foot into the place and we would have left. Another notable positive--they taken gluten allergy seriously and have a lot of choices. We always point out severe gluten allergy/celiac and they make notations, discuss with the kitchen, and the manager also helps out in this regard. So this review is mixed for the reasons noted above. A change in hostess is called for ASAP-at least the one who was there this past Saturday night.

The bruschetta had too many onions (it doesn't need onions at all). They also doused it with Italian dressing (never heard of this) which made the bread very soggy and distorted the taste. A drizzle of balsamic vinegar would have been so much better. The gluten free pizza was great, and I am originally from New Haven, CT.

Depends on when you go. Lunch time when it’s not too crowded- I highly recommend it! We got the garlic sirloin steak and the ribs with charred carrots and loaded potato- delicious! When it’s crowded at prime dinner time it can be pretty loud. Twice we have gone at a busy time with a group reservation and had a bad experience. We didn’t get our order taken for an hour and another hour later food arrived with several mistakes to the orders. Balsamic chicken was too strong with the vinegar in my opinion. Salmon had a weird texture. Veggies and baked potato were yummy and everyone raved about their appetizers (especially cheesesteak eggrolls) they got. The menu does specify what items are gluten free which was helpful.

It has been years since I last visited The Melting Pot. My family decided to treat me for Mother's Day. There was a special menu just for the event. The food was really good. They were able to easily accommodate our son's gluten allergy as well as my dietary preferences. It was a fun process cooking all our food. Everything was provided, including instructions on the cook time. We were there for a little over two hours. Our waitress struggled a little bit from a service perspective. The quality of our service seemed to decrease the longer we were there. We asked her for things that never came. There would be long wait times between when she checked on us. However, a manager happened to come around at the end to assist. He got us everything we needed as well as some extra goodies. He also gifted me with a rose for Mother's Day. All in all it was a good experience. However, I would definitely request a different server the next time.

This is Pinky’s second location. They also have a location in Charlotte. It’s a great place for a burger, but there is a chance for cross-contamination. There is a complete allergen menu that labels all allergens for all menu items. It is very helpful. They have a delicious GF bun that they can warm safely. Nothing fried is safe. They do have black beans and black eyed pea salad as sides that are GF. I honestly felt really safe eating here even with the cross contamination risk. I had three different people check on me to make sure my meal was ok and they communicated with the kitchen staff as well. I highly recommend the pterodactyl burger Westside style with chili, onions, slaw and mustard!

We only ordered online for pickup in store, but they were very friendly at every stage. Really good gluten free pizza at a reasonable price, and the fajita pizza is delicious. We'll eat there again next time we're in the area for the Renaissance faire.

Food was fine, but if you you have any food allergies, there are no alternatives. For example, the suggestion for gluten free salmon is to order it without the glaze. For the ribs, order without barbecue sauce, and so on.

My friends and I celebrated her birthday at this location on 11/25th. Just a day after Thanksgiving, hoping it won’t be as crowded as usual. I was wrong. Sadly, they don’t allow reservation for group of about 12-14 people. They require that if you want to be on the waiting list, you should come in about two hours earlier. Shouldn’t be a problem if I live closer but I’m about an hour drive (so, I cried a little inside. I was left with no choice but to get there couple of hours before the planned dinner time. I approached the front desk and while I was standing in front, few managers came by and asked what can they help me with and gladly assured me that they will try their best to seat us all in no more than couple of hours (as I don’t really plan to walk around the Birkdale twiddling my thumbs) Finally received their text about 10 minutes earlier than requested dinner time which is perfect because everybody in our group got there the same time. Our server was very prompt, thorough, friendly, knowledgeable and patient (she’s amazing and I know I shouldn’t have not forgotten her name, but it’s just me.. I’m bad with names). She really handle our large group like a pro. Not a single mistake in our orders. Food— was really superb, the usual large portion but who are you kidding? Who doesn’t like a left over lunch following day? So, sure.. give me that massive pasta serving of carbonara ( Pancetta was a bit overcooked though but didn’t kill me, so who cares). Let me tell you, I’m a calamari snob ( I wear dental braces and I avoid eating anything rubbery so not pop them wires in my mouth) With that being said- calamari wasn’t rubbery. Just melts in my mouth like soften butter before you start baking your memaws butter biscuit recipe. So, the flavor is amazing, not too, salty not too bland.. the portion!!!!!!!’??? of course.. the ocean almost ran out of squids just to fill my plate and make my heart happy, and I’m really glad that it’s so crunchy too, and not oily, I have enough of that on my face. Didn’t need more from my food. Let’s talk about cheesecake… whooaaa, you didn’t think I’d order ice cream at the Cheesecake Factory, don’t you? But whoever does..you do you. I ordered two: yes. Don’t judge. This girl loves her sweets. But I ordered two of my favorites: The Tiramisu Cheesecake and The Salted Caramel. I brought home an extra cheesecake since we ordered whole cheesecake for the birthday girl and sheesh her good heart decided she will share her 12-14 slices for Gluten Free Godiva Cheesecake. Not a fan of Godiva but this is simply amazing. Rich cocoa, thick and compact… just how I like it. My other cheesecakes— were consumed a day later. My dog approves of their whipped cream, she said it’s better than the Starbucks Puppychino. Enough rant- but I’ve always loved Cheesecake so, I’m a bit biased. 😅

Gorgeous outdoor dining! The food was delightful :) Our waitress Rachel was lovely and super willing to help me maneuver the menu with my dietary restrictions. Do yourself the pleasure of requesting her as your waitress. :) I got the appetizer of the Italian meatballs over polenta and a side of glazed Chioggi beets served as an appetizer. As my main I thoroughly enjoyed the well-portioned spicy rigatoni vodka pasta dish that I paired with an Aperol spritz. A lovely dining experience. The only thing I would alter is to please lessen the music volume and to add gluten free bread to the menu for the appetizer and sandwich sections.

A great place for a girls lunch or dinner!! Nothing is labeled gluten-free on the menu. The staff is very knowledgeable about what is gluten-free though. They offer gluten-free crackers for charcuterie. They can pan sauté the brussels sprouts and leave off the marinade. They have salads, a burger without a bun would be an option. I actually got the prosciutto sandwich without the bread and they put it over arugula salad! It was absolutely amazing! They are very willing to work with you and modify dishes in their custom kitchen. Also, tons of wine options!

I have celiac disease, so going out to any restaurant makes me nervous. BUT we went here for lunch and our waitress and the chef were very sweet and accommodating. They took special care to prepare my meal. I had the roasted Brussels that were prepared in a separate pan with no seasoning and the grilled chicken salad. They used separate utensils and pans to make my chicken and ensure I didn’t get sick. Their food was delicious!

We can’t give Qué Onda enough praise! The food here was out of this world, from the salsa to the Tres Leches Cake and everything in between, this was one of our best experiences at a Mexican restaurant. They offer gluten free options as well! Our server was so nice and attentive even though the house was packed, and our food still came out in a reasonable time. If you decide to try out Qué Onda, be prepared to settle into a food coma once you leave!

Awesome first experience. I ordered the curry fish cakes on the veggie box and it was delicious. The fish cakes were made with rice flour, so they were gluten free. The curry added a nice flavor to the dish. The veggies were cooked to perfection and were not over cooked. The sauces were a wonderful addition to the dish as well. I mixed the gingerade and sweet tea for a nice refreshing drink. The service was great, too. Overall, I enjoyed my first visit and am looking forward to the next one.

I had a great dinner with some friends I hadn't seen in a while. It's challenging going out to eat with all of us because we all have dietary restrictions. Our server Harry was very knowledgeable of the menu - especially for gluten free options. Overall great experience and food. Nice range of bar options too!

Food is always excellent and the wait staff are friendly and attentive. I have a gluten intolerance and they were always happy to do my veal Parmesan without breading and they also have a gluten-free pasta. They can accommodate large groups and it has a very comfortable ambience.

We had an amazing dinner here! My steak was unreal! There are quite a few gluten-free options on the menu. Unfortunately, all of the fried items are not safe if you have celiac. They are fried in a shared fryer. They have three restaurants in the Charlotte area!
