As someone with coeliac disease, I felt so comfortable speaking with the lady at the register who I think was the owner. She took me through what they have that is gluten free and coeliac safe, spoke to me about the seperate fryer without me asking and the food was delicious! We travelled 30 minutes to come here after reading reviews and were not disappointed. I haven’t had charcoal chicken in over 5 years since being diagnosed and am so incredibly happy to find somewhere that is delicious and safe! We will be back! The only thing I’ll say is it would be nice if there was a gluten free gravy but I’m so happy with the options that are available! :)

Found this gem online looking for a GF meal after a day on the peninsula ! Will definitely be returning . Waitress was very thorough clarifying dietary requirements for gluten free Southern Fried chicken & chips pack. I had asked for chicken salt on my chips but they were not salted and were not as crispy as I would have liked. The chicken however was so delicious, it was offered as a 3 piece pack but to my surprise they gave 4 pieces. Even my hubby who isn't coeliac was impressed with the chicken and said it was better than the Colonel's version 😆

I’ve ordered several times from here online and have always enjoyed the burgers. Finally popped into today with some family. We were happily greeted and welcomed. Were talked through the menu helpfully and were told that coeliac was not a problem. Excellent service from start to finish.

I have been with a group of friends there twice, I am celiac and I have not had any problems eating, the girl who served us very kindly explained to us that everything was gluten-free. The food was delicious and in terms of quality and price it was great. I totally recommend this site.

My partner and I had a later dinner at Lady Vandeburg and OMG I’ve never seen so many options for Gluten free eaters, we were spoilt for choice. The main meals were an amazing size and served literally so fast. The deserts… where do I even start. We had the brownie and just the classic donut fries, at first without sauce but the owner Catherine encouraged me to try one. Offt am I so glad she did because that caramel sauce was to die for. 10/10 I couldn’t be happier with our choice to visit. Every single one of the staff were so happy to accommodate us and were incredibly friendly. I’ll be definitely dropping back in before we head back home. Thankyou again guys for such a fun time. The music was top tier as well 😜

The best fish and chips we've had in a long time. Beautiful light crispy batter on the flake and crab sticks. Fantastic that they offer gluten free, having a kid with coeliac, take out is often tricky to find true gluten free options- they have a separate fryer etc. I will say (in the nicest way possible) just looking at the building, not knowing they offer gluten free I would probably not order from there but I was pleasantly surprised. So to the owner a little bit of TLC on the building would go a long way. Highly recommend

Very friendly staff, they advised that everything on the menu can be gluten free except snacks and rolls. My wife surprised me with a gluten free parma as I have not been able to eat parma for a very long time. We will definitely be back

Always nice being able to eat anything in a store without having to worry about being "glutened", especially when there is a good range of hot, frozen, and cold foods and sweets available. All the labelling for other potential allergens and preferences is amazing, makes it so much easier to know what is in the food items rather than needing to ask about each individual item.

Either the girl who served me severely over charged me, or the prices have gone through the roof with the new menu. No more snack spuds, Our usual order would cost $12-14 Today it cost us $17.90 just for the potatoe, with cheese,bacon,pees, corn and sour cream.... It used to be an affordable healthy option for us coeliacs but the sudden price increase is pretty crazy. I do appreciate that we can eat there but would like more consistency with pricing. That experience aside, we really love spudbar... and frequently go there, however that will definitely change if price is that much..

After a minor hiccup with our order, I queried the price of our order only to realise I had miscalculated. The service person maintained politeness and professionalism while resolving the issue. All staff were extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable regarding the menu. Having Coeliac disease, I felt completely confident that my intolerance would be taken seriously, and that the protocols in place were adequate to protect my health. This place is amazing. It is meticulously clean. The food is of an extremely high standard and they are very organised and quick in the kitchen. We walked past at lunchtime and observed the atmosphere and cleanliness. We decided to go for dinner and we weren't disappointed. My husband ordered the Seafood Platter for 1 and had the Gluten-Free Souvlaki Pizza. Fabulous value. Georges caters for the entire family at very reasonable prices.. very impressed. 10/10.👍

We LOVE this place. It’s our only fast food indulgence and we do it on the regular coz the burgers are just so yummy. They now also cater even more to us Gluten Freebies, they always had the GF bun, but have also switched their fries over to GF recently which we love. The staff are just super lovely and it’s very speedy service and the burgers are always on point.
