We arrive at the hotel at 9pm, no staff present at the reception, they tell us to wait, no problem for us, but we hear someone from the kitchen complaining that it was not time to check in (I should point out that when I booked there were several exchanges via email and I was never given information on the opening hours of the reception, which in any case in a three-star hotel must be open at 9pm). We immediately notice that the room is very hot, we do not sleep well. We arrive at the restaurant for dinner, my husband is celiac and allergic to dairy products, we obviously informed the hotel of this already at the time of booking and again at the table. They bring us warm sparkling wine, we ask for the ice bucket and they bring us one with water and three ice cubes. We have to ask again. We ask for a simple spaghetti with bottarga for our 8-year-old daughter, instead they send bottarga, cherry tomatoes and CHILLI PEPPER! The waitress justifies herself by saying "they make them like this here" and then contradicts herself a moment later "we can also make them without". Spaghetti remade, all ok. Let's move on to the most serious issue, that is, a restaurant that presents itself as gluten-free but has nothing gluten-free about it! Not even the bread! My husband chose an appetizer and a second course, we asked if everything was safe even from contamination, needless to say he was very sick all night and this is a serious matter! Not to mention the breakfast which was embarrassing, among the various emails where I warned of food problems they had told me that there would be no problem, the lady at breakfast, who I assume belongs to the owners' family, arrives mumbling something about allergies to products of animal origin as if it were science fiction, shows up with two packaged biscuits and a slice of bread, adds giggling that there is fruit on the buffet and oat milk. The end. Obviously shocked by the poisoning the night before he didn't touch anything. I am sorry to write this review about a family-run business, but it is intolerable that there are restaurants that pretend to be equipped and aware of how to provide gluten-free cuisine. People's health is at stake. At check out not a single question about how the stay had gone, no attention to customers, in every sense. If there had been, we would have explained what had happened and probably would not have gotten to writing the review.

Unfortunately, we were only passing through, but the Drumlerhof completely delighted us. Particularly noteworthy is the warm and attentive staff, who make you feel welcome from the very first moment. The entire hotel structure is thoughtfully and lovingly designed, everything spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The absolute highlight: the food! For people with celiac disease or gluten intolerance, this hotel is a true paradise – rarely have you eaten so safely and yet so deliciously. A huge thank you to the owner family and the entire team.

We've just spent 6 carefree and relaxing days. It was so good not having to worry about gluten-free food and contamination! Special requests (vegetarian) were also accommodated. The evening menu was always a feast for the eyes! There's truly a lot of love in it! The packed lunches were delicious and perfect for hiking! Very nice rooms and super comfortable beds. There's only one "complaint" ;): since the (super-awesome) guided e-mountain bike tour, our son has been talking about full suspension bikes only and now absolutely wants one of those ;), or rather, only vacations in the mountains with a mountain bike! But now we know where we can have such a vacation! Thank you for the wonderful time! A hotel with charm and warmth!

I had dinner at this hotel restaurant, everything was excellent, the staff were really kind and polite, the food was excellent! There was a celiac with me and the gluten-free dishes were really delicious, everything was homemade, pasta, bread and desserts were delicious, even gluten-free!

It's the second time I've gone to eat pizza with my wife (celiac) at Casa Lady Garda, the staff is kind and welcoming and the pizzas are exceptional, both the traditional dough and the gluten-free one. We will definitely be back.

Unfortunately I can't separate the reviews. As for the restaurant, very good! Fresh products and fast service, the menu is almost all gluten-free, which is why we decided to stay here on our motorcycle trip. The inn or hotel, unfortunately, is a bit dated and the breakfast is a bit sparse even for those who don't have intolerances to bagged biscuits, croissants and yogurt. For gluten-free I didn't find any options even though I was told it was available, in any case, being in a hurry to leave we didn't even ask so it's possible that it will be given on request.

Exceptional experience! I must say that I am celiac and I had no difficulty because they have several gluten-free dishes. Very careful about contamination, very kind staff, fast service. I ate fish. Unfortunately they do not have gluten-free pizzas. I recommend everyone to try it!

Highly recommended. The taste was really good, the service was excellent, and the prices were perfectly reasonable. The food is delicious, whether it's pizza, pasta, or dessert. Highly recommended. Gluten-free options are also available. The location is on the road, but that's not a problem at all. Dog- and child-friendly, and the restrooms are clean. I can't comment on the rooms, as we met there for dinner while on vacation. We will definitely come back.

Came on a Saturday so very crowded but the dishes arrived quickly, good dishes with gluten-free options too but unfortunately prices a little high, not bad place, good lighting and spacious rooms, overall friendly and very welcoming staff.

A beautiful hotel located on the mountain, with a fantastic view of the city of Merano. We stayed here for four nights and had a wonderful time. After requesting an upgrade from a garden room to a suite, we were granted this for an additional charge. Both rooms were great; attached are photos of the standard room for the first night and the suite for the following nights. The staff is very friendly. The entire hotel has a very modern and stylish feel. The food is excellent, offering excellent value for money. Gluten-intolerant guests will also find something to suit their needs. A full menu of gluten-free delicacies and gluten-free beer is available. The heated and well-tempered infinity pool offers breathtaking views of the Merano Valley. The two saunas have varying temperatures from 65-95°C. Small refreshments, apples, and teas are available in the wellness area. You can also enjoy the 1-meter-deep unheated rooftop pool on warm summer days. Dogs are allowed and welcome throughout the hotel (except in the wellness area and the rooftop wellness area), as well as in the restaurant. Upon check-in, you'll also receive the South Tyrol Guest Card, which allows you to take the bus to Merano at any time. For those feeling energetic, this journey can also be completed with a 50-minute walk to Merano. Plenty of free parking is available. A charging station for vehicles is also available. The adjacent campsite also makes a great and clean impression. We'll be back, Family K.

We ate at this restaurant several times during our stay in Merano and we always had a good time, good food, friendly staff and good prices. They also cater for celiacs with a wide selection of gluten-free pizzas, they also recommended their asparagus risotto, all excellent! I recommend it to anyone who is in the area
