Excellent restaurant with lots of gluten free options but the pizza is amazing. Besides the high quality food the service is top of the notch, even in a busy January afternoon. Highly recommended

I’m coeliac. My partner is not. She tried my pizza and said both the GF and none taste the same. We then both agreed they are the best pizzas we’ve ever had! Amazing and to top it off the staff are so friendly. Highly recommend!!!

Ordered Pistachio Tiramisu and it was very good. They should have sold the sauce / garnish it was made with, so I could use privately. We passed by earlier in the day. And then there was a long queue. Later in the evening we were lucky and were alone in the shop so we were able to order. Immediately afterwards, there was a bit of a queue again. Very popular place. And I understand that very well. They sell many different recipes for Tiramisu. Even gluten-free and lactose-free.
This cozy spot boasts a warm, welcoming vibe with knowledgeable staff, great humor, and a focus on high-quality, lovingly prepared dishes.

The location is excellent, the restaurant is very welcoming, the collaborators are all good, they guide you through their specialties in the right way. We were there (through a friend/client of mine) Sunday evening 03/18/2024. Everything perfect, I repeat the collaborators are "Top" nice especially the "BELTED" 😄😉. CMQ THE VARIOUS TASTES OF THE ARTICHOKES WERE EXCELLENT, BESIDES THEY MANAGED TO SATISFY ME SINCE I AM A CELIAC. THE VARIOUS FIRST COURSES ALSO GOOD
TONNARELLI CACI AND PEPE, CARBONARE, ALSO GLUTEN FREE, PENNETTA ALLA 🥵, AND RAVIOLI WITH EXCELLENT SAUCE
DRINKS OK.

A cozy, beautiful place with super close and pleasant workers. Alejandra is the best thing about the restaurant. Very good food. Homemade pasta and the gluten-free one is very good too. They have been open for 1 month and it seems like they have been open all their lives. I would repeat without thinking about it!!

We came here two nights in a row it was so good! They have gluten free pasta available. We went with seafood dishes and they were all excellent. The gluten free chocolate dessert was also delicious

It doesn't have the best service in the world given the amount of people eating at the same time, but it certainly offsets that with the food. They are large and delicious portions, with the possibility of taking it home if you want. And the gluten-free pasta is also a 10, I ordered the pesto and I loved it. I went again and my friends say it is one of the best carbonaras they have ever ordered. The house white wine was very bad, yes, and the other time we asked for a red and they brought it to us quite hot. Although you can find long lines (you don't usually wait long either), it is delicious and very well priced. I will return without a doubt

Wonderful experience!
I spent Valentine's Day (which I consider too commercial now) in this restaurant where, however, the owner was able to maintain a rustic and convivial atmosphere and not too romantic and saccharine to the detriment of the other diners. It was an evening dedicated to typical Roman flavors and even though I have celiac disease, the waiter Giorgio was able to offer me a delicious gricia with artichokes. Everything perfect

A quiet place in Trastevere to eat, the options are not too many and they are well executed.
Prices range between €12-16 for savory items and €6-10 for sweets. They have different vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options. They charge you €2 for tap water.
I recommend to spend a pleasant moment.

In Trastevere… what eggs!
We tasted various appetizers and, obviously, classic carbonara and carbonara 1954. All highly recommended.
Very nice place, slightly unbalanced value for money, prices above average.
It is also possible to eat gluten-free, the gluten-free carbonara was excellent.

After a week in Rome and having tried many restaurants in Trastevere, finally a fantastic restaurant!!! Excellent and fresh food. Excellent and friendly service - they even accommodated my wife who has celiac disease and she ate very well. So good we're going back on Friday!

The food is average, we only went to eat there for the gluten-free option. The reason I won't return is that I don't like being forced to tip a certain amount that they tell you when you check the bill.
Great vibes and a solid menu make this spot a must-visit, with every dining experience getting a personal touch and attention to detail.

As you can see from my past reviews I'm extremely generous, but this time I have some things to say. Food is ok. fine for international tourists but certainly not memorable in the Trastevere area. I tried the veggie patties/burgers and they had no flavor. I recommend the pastas more, at least the fettuccine with mushrooms was good. Having said that, I appreciate the fact that they also offer some options for vegans and celiacs. The waitress who served us was very kind and nice, however the owner was really rude and attacked me in the face and was grumpy. Sorry but I think good manners are something to maintain even after you pay the bill🤷🏻♀️. I would have come back but not after this

Beautiful restaurant in Trastevere. We enjoyed a very nice family dinner with a perfect service. The food was of very high and self made quality - gluten free was no problem at all. Very nice wine recommendations.
The staff was very friendly and warm. Food was delicious and their menu is well marked for gluten free food (and allergens in general). Can't recommend enough!
Savor a unique dining experience with impressive risotto, vibrant presentations, and occasional chats with the chef for a personal touch.

UNFORGETTABLE MISTAKE
We went to this restaurant and chose the tasting menu and something VERY SERIOUS happened, which had never happened before in 20 years, not even in the messiest restaurants.
They switched dishes between me and my husband (celiac), so he ate half the course of gluten-filled pasta before we noticed.
The staff didn't even apologize properly, in fact they said that "unfortunately it shouldn't happen but it does happen every now and then".
My husband was sick all night.
These things can easily be avoided with small precautions:
- gluten-free dishes intended for a celiac person should be recognizable (through a different dish for example)
- the waiter serving a table should always be the same (4 different waiters served us and the one who exchanged the dishes was the sommelier).
Beyond this huge mistake, the food didn't make us crazy, it plays a lot on very tasty sauces that often cover the flavors of the food, nothing to do with other restaurants of the same level we've been to.
Enjoy the vibrant atmosphere, fantastic outdoor patio, and delicious cuisine that's both affordable and highly recommended by visitors.

Place beautiful, service perfect, food outstanding. Pizza and pasta gluten free delicious and one of the cheapest places we have dinner in Rome. They do not even charge extra for gluten free as most other places. 100% recommended

Excellent cuisine, impeccable staff. A taste experience that is difficult to find in Rome. Options (and great attention) also for celiacs. Highly recommended.

Disappointing experience in every respect. We had clearly asked for a meal suitable for a celiac person and we were assured that they had gluten-free pasta...
they immediately told us that they didn't have a separate kitchen but that the pasta would still be cooked in a separate pot. However, during the meal, I found spaghetti with gluten on my plate, identical to the one served to my cousin. When I reported it, the staff denied having ever said that the pasta would be cooked in a separate pot, contradicting what was previously stated. After less than an hour I had a major reaction, with all the typical consequences of accidental ingestion of gluten. It is unacceptable that a serious problem like celiac disease is handled with such superficiality. Grossly negligent behavior. We won't be back nor do I recommend it

I went to Osteria della Trippa for dinner as a couple. Cuisine and ingredients are local and there are many offal-based dishes. The wine list is well stocked, again all local, and there are many natural wines to choose from. You can order pasta and numerous gluten-free options, including dessert. We ordered the fried tripe (excellent), the pajata, the roast beef, potatoes and coral beans, plus two desserts. All very good, compliments to the chefs! The only negative note was the bread for 2 euros, but fortunately I was in the company of a celiac girl ;)

Visiting Italy from the states, was only in Rome one night and wanted a great dinner of traditional Roman food, and Checco Er Carettiere came highly recommended from one of our taxi drivers. My god was it great! From the food, the ambience and the entertainment, what a night! English speaking server helped with great gluten free options for my girlfriend who is intolerant (at least in the states). From the wine, the cacio e pepe, carbonara and lamb scottadito, it was exceptional! The kicker was the 2-man guitar/bass entertainment that were absolutely phenomenal. Wish we knew their names to follow on social. Will definitely be back when in Rome again.
Rich flavors, generous portions, and a true taste of Roman cuisine make this spot a favorite for many, promising a delightful experience.

For those who have celiac disease like me, you know how difficult it is to find a restaurant with good gluten-free food. Here you will find true Roman cuisine, even gluten-free... dishes rich in flavour, from appetizers to desserts! With the family following us (2 adults and 1 little girl), we ordered: "courgette flowers" (delicious!), "cheese and pepper puff pastry chips" (what a surprise!), "fried meatballs with homemade sauces" ( top!), "meatballs amatriciana" (complete with slipper); "spaghetti and half rigatoni all'amatriciana" could not be missing and finally a mouth-watering "tiramisu".
Digestive (very good!) offered by the staff, the girls always super helpful and very kind throughout the service.
In short, we will definitely be back... well done!!
