This is a negative review directly related to how hot cross buns were being displayed & arranged. The buns were stacked on top of each other & squashed like pancakes. Like so many folks with celiac I have to eat GF otherwise suffer the consequences which can be very severe. I commented to the staff member running the till about the hot cross buns all being squashed & asked if there were any in the back that were not squashed. She blinked at me like a troll from Frozen with a completely lost & confused expression & whispered no. Life is very expensive & this made me sad. I bought hot cross buns from a grocery store for the rest of my family and even those were sad in my eyes but they were not squished. Packaged in a recyclable box measuring 6.5cm in height. I measured kinnikinnicks to find that at the highest point was just over 2cm!! That's not even an inch!! The highest point! I know the person working the till is just staff likely being paid minimum wage (which is another hill to die on) but is it too much to ask for no squished hot cross buns!?!? I would ask that we all take a bit more pride in our jobs, no matter the job, & please be a bit more thoughtful. Can you please arrange baked goods in a way that will not ruin the product? This is sad. If I was the owner I'd be embarrassed.

I got a lemon raspberry cake for a party it was perfect it fed all the people I needed to feed and it was absolutely delicious I would totally recommend and I'm actually holding myself back from going again and grabbing all their tasty looking treats. It feels like being in an actual bakery again instead of kinda being stuck with like very little variety. This place has tons they have donuts and eclairs all gluten free I love it plus staff is super nice.

An okay diner it feels kinda tight and is loud but the fact it's gluten friendly is a big plus and on top of that the food tastes absolutely amazing, which is hard without gluten. Coffee was not fun and it was super busy. Overall it's a cute place every once in awhile, though I don't think you'd want to make it a regular spot.

Came here with my hubby for dinner. We had the boston clam chowder to start gluten free and the gluten free haddock fish and chips. We both agreed it's the best gluten free fish we've ever had. We'll definitely come back and try the gluten free onion rings

Went to celebrate our mom’s legacy at her favourite restaurant! Ordered dinner for 6 plus 2 more ppl and added 2 dishes. Gluten free for a few of us! Fresh, hot, delivered to the large round table with smiles! Our famous hostess came and sang a “b day” song with us ! Owner gentleman took our pic outside! Wonderful green tea and wine selection…see them next year! Came from Okotoks to have dinner in Edmonton!

I'm so happy there's a place in Edmonton where I can eat a gluten-free donair! The wrap they use is good and holds-up well. I didn't like how much sauce they put on the donair, but I will ask for less next time. I am highly reactive to cross contamination of gluten and had no reaction. The best part is that it was 1 am when I went there, and I did not think I would be able to eat out at that hour. It makes me so happy that there's a gluten-free option late on the weekends! Good job Prairie Donair! Atmosphere was ok, just cold and a typical diner feel. Prices were fair.

A real treasure in SE Edmonton. It is in TAWA centre on 66 Street. The most delicious coffees and beautiful gluten free deserts are to be found here. I come to TAWA every 3 months, and always enjoy a wonderful coffee and sandwich

We ordered cupcakes and an 8 inch vanilla cake with chocolate icing on the inside. The cake and the cupcakes were stunning. Gluten free cakes/deserts aren't typically a favorite for those that don't have the dietary restrictions but everyone really enjoyed them!

We went out for dinner before a concert and I ordered their pesto rosso pasta. I have a gluten and dairy allergy and the waiter was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating to this. On my first bite I bit into a rock. Thankfully I didn't chip a tooth. The waiter apologized and ordered new food for me. Which was great, but I was disappointed in their actions after. They gave me 50% off my pasta dish and no manager came to speak to me. I felt like this incident could have been worse and the fact that no manager came to apologize wasn't the best customer service.

I went to P.F. Chang's for the first time last month. I was alone because I was on a work trip. Even though this is a family style restaurant, I had the best time dining alone. The food was so good!! Liam, my server was so nice and helpful as it was my first time. I have celiac disease, this was no problem at all, I had quite a few options and all things I ate were delicious! I highly recommend checking it out. I can't wait to go back with some friends.

My partner and I have gone several times before and it was decent. The last time we went, we ordered a gluten free Perogy and a Gluten Free Meat Lovers. Both of us ended up falling sick not shortly after eating. Would definitely go again. And to top it off the customer service was not great and that we weren't really a priority. She barely even said hi or welcomed us to the shop.

Visiting from Calgary and stopped by Remedy Café for their gluten-free options. The staff assured me food prep is safe for celiacs, with a separate prep area, toaster, and utensils. Tried the coconut chicken wrap on a GF wrap, Punjabi style — absolutely flavorful and filling. Saved half for later! Great experience and will definitely be back. Shoutout to the server for being knowledgeable of gluten free practices and a stellar recommendation for my wrap!

After a long weekend in edmonton I needed a gluten and dairy free pizza, I got a load your own and chose my 7 toppings!! Pesto sauce was so good. The crust was the BEST I ever had!! So fluffy I thought it was a mistake, like it was too good to be gluten free! Broccoli is a great addition to to the usual toppings. Now I'm sad we don't have this chain on Vancouver island! ??? Thanks! Keep it up

Against All Grain Benny was by far the best eggs benedict I’ve ever had. Got the spicy hollandaise and it was just the right mild spice. The Brussel sprouts were sweet, carmelized and pure perfection. Vegan and gluten free which was perfect. I will be back to try other vegan GF items.

They are not careful when it comes to correctly labeling and preparing for dietary needs. I have Celiacs Disease and due to them giving me a regular bagel with the written label of a "gluten free" I'm now experiencing agonizing symptoms. Luckily I won't die, but if you have any allergies DO NOT GO TO THIS REMEDY. Could you imagine if it was a nut allergy?! Do better.

The service was great and the food was amazing! I ordered dinner for my sister, who has a gluten allergy, and I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of gluten free options! I will forever rave about this place. We've only come twice as we lo Iive In Calgary & have never found a restaurant come close. The experience of fondue with actual tables surrounding this experience, the atmosphere and friendly staff is EVERYTHING. Today, my partner and I ordered a LOVEPIZZA (Downtown) Plain Jane pizza (16”*6”), added the gluten-free option for an extra $3.5, and selected 3 toppings, one of which was Fresh Arugula. We paid $32 plus a $5 tip (Uber Eats). However, we received a round pizza that was 8 inches in diameter with wilted yellow-brown arugula! We have been to this place before and ordered the same pizza, which was delicious and everything was great. But today, on Valentine's Day, what a disappointment. We called the place twice, explaining that we paid for a 16*6 inch pizza with fresh arugula, but received an 8-inch pizza with wilted arugula for $32. However, the woman on the phone refused to cooperate and insisted that we received what we ordered, stating that they don't have a different size for gluten-free. She told us to eat what we got (even though we had selected a different pizza). I explained that nowhere was it stated that we would receive a pizza half the size for an additional charge. No matter how much I tried to explain that this was not what I ordered, and that for $32 I could have ordered a regular pizza if it had been stated anywhere that the size would be half (not to mention the wilted arugula). They really ruined our celebration and didn't even apologize.

Aman at the front and the two cooks in the back - FANTASTIC job. The quality of food is top tier. The gluten-free bun was great, atypical in the sense that it didn't fall apart and tasted excellent. The beef patties were flavourful but not salty and cooked to perfection with steam coming out of the burger, making the cheese (by the way, you have 4 to choose from... plus toppings and sauces!) melt beautifully. The French fries remind me of good old fashion fries from a homestyle restaurant in the 90s (dedicated deep fryer for the celiacs out there like me). Seasoned well and fresh. The customer service and food was top notch today, and you 3 left an outstanding first impression. The restaurant is noticeably clean. We will be back!

I tried to call the manager and left him a message instead of writing this review because I truly just want them to do better. I’m sure the regular food there is fine however, the gluten-free sandwiches are disgusting. They’re so dried out. It’s unbelievable. My challenge to the manager would be to eat one without water and not choke. I’m paying an extra dollar for the gluten-free bread. I know you can buy promise gluten-free bread and it’s delicious and it is a fraction of the dollar surcharge for the gluten-free bread. if you’re gonna offer gluten-free please thank you as regular food and you wouldn’t eat it nor would I . Do you have my number if you want me to remove my review and gladly will, I just wanted you to be aware of the problem.

GF Fried Breaded Chicken is always one of my go to’s but I must say when eating the Carrot Cake slice drizzled with caramel sauce & homemade thick whipped cream with fresh strawberries…it was heavenly! Not to mention everything completely gluten free, I being Celiac. I love this absolute gem in Edmonton. Very cozy atmosphere, wonderful staff, & a big chefs kiss to the talented chefs! I’ve also been to the roast beef buffets & everything is incredible! Endless assortments & varieties of anything you can imagine. Quality & Excellence! We had the Tostadas de Tinga and the Enchiladas Clasicas with spicy verde. The tostadas were the best we ever had! Amazing flavour combinations, fresh ingredients and great portion size. The spicy verde sauce on the enchiladas is quite spicy and so is the Mexican rice but still delicious. The restaurant was able to accommodate a celiac and both dishes were gluten free.

This place is awesome. I've been here for dinner as well as a business breakfast networking thing. The food and beer are amazing. There are a ton of gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options. I had the king pao tofu lettuce wraps and they were delicious. The building is super cool too.
