Love City O’ City, been coming here for over 15 years. The food is top notch, service is great, and we beat the morning brunch rush by arriving at 10 o’clock on a Saturday. Met a dear friend there for our last breakfast before she moved out of state. Nice to know this place is still doing well. Had the chicken and waffles…it was delicious and gluten-free.
A lively happy hour destination with an impressive range of options and fantastic cocktails that perfectly complement your experience.

Great spot for happy hour! And lots of options too. If you’re gluten free - ask for their separate gluten free menu (love to see it!)
We did the Sunday all day happy hour and were so excited to try a few new things. It’s still pricey but worth it ☺️
Chill neighborhood spot with cozy vibes, unique drinks, and a menu packed with creative vegetarian options and fun events.

I have been coming here for years and absolutely love the community. Delicious food, gluten free donuts, and so many drink options that I can hardly ever just pick one. The rotating juices and mushroom cacao are my current go-to’s

Stopped by for tacos and bottomless mimosas for a lunch and was impressed with the gluten free/celiac options! Will definitely be bringing friends here for happy hour and great food!
A lively spot with an impressive beer selection and top-notch happy hour deals, but could use a cheerier bar ambiance.

Let me share the good stuff first. The staff is very hard working. The hostess greeted us immediately and was friendly. The food looked good and tasted ok to great. There was a bathroom. We were excited to go bc the one in our area shut down. They have a nice drink selection. The non-alcoholic beverages were great. The service was strong. Now on to the story.
We were told the wait would be 10-15 minutes, and we could wait at the bar or upstairs. We sat at the bar, but the overworked bar tender told us we could not for drinks as not everyone was 21. OK. Outside it is. After about 30-40 minute wait our table was ready.
Why was there a wait? Well, the hostess was our server and the one cleaning the tables. They were understaffed. No worries, it happens. There was only one bartender, so drinks would be slow. The food would be a bit to get there, which makes sense given staffing.
The food looked good. The meatball sub was bland and a little overcooked. Tots were mushy. Neither teenager liked their pizza. The gluten-free pizza looked good and tasted good. However, shortly after, 3 out of 4 were not feeling well. I am not sure if it was the pear cider or the GF pizza, but I had a bad reaction after it. This would be a gluten reaction that is painful and takes a long while to recover. This was around a 2 hour affair, not including wait time. One more thing, just like a lot of places, the prices are much much higher than before. But not abnormal for the area.
I really hope the place turns around and everyone has a better food experience than us. I am sorry to leave a poor review. I normally do not leave reviews like this.

We loved the place! The sandwiches are exceptional, from the tasty bread to the juicy meat to the sauce, everything fits perfectly! The staff is friendly and helpful. Best of all, there is great gluten free bread, best we have tasted!
We had a great dinner tonight. Probably the best octopus I’ve had yet. The staff were all really gracious, and knowledgeable. I really appreciate the gluten and dairy free options. Glad I was able to find something my son could enjoy. Next time I come back I’ll prob do the 4 course gluten free pairing menu. It looked fantastic
Featuring bold flavors and well-prepared dishes, this spot impresses with its ceviche, crispy chilaquiles, and tender carnitas at fair prices.

Even though the service was just OK and a bit slow, the food was amazing!
Ceviche had tons of lime and just enough spice level. I wish it came with avocado.
The chilaquiles were crunchy (as they should) and the eggs runny but well cooked on the outside.
The tacos de carnitas were good too, the meat was tender and tasted great.
All three plates gluten free!
Price is also fair.
Kudos to the chef!

Yup, the gluten free waffle is great! Definitely worth visiting for that waffle. They also had a superb latte which is funny that it stood out to us so much. It was really good though.
Service was great (I wish I remembered his name), the atmosphere was a nice modern diner, and the food was great.

Anise is one of my absolute favorite restaurants here in Denver as a vegan who also eats gluten free. I get the tofu spring rolls every time (the sauce it comes with is RIDICULOUSLY good), and either the vegan tofu pho or the tofu special which comes with rice noodles, a bunch of greens including scallions and cilantro, and of course delicious fried tofu. I get take out from this place usually at least once every two weeks. It is truly my comfort food.
A vibrant spot with great ambience and attentive service, perfect for unwinding after an event or enjoying a casual night out.

It was a tale of two experiences. We had reservations at 7:45 but did not get seated until almost 8:15. Previous table lingered so not much that could be done but a bit frustrating. After being seated, our server was friendly and efficient. (Stephane?) Ordered scallops and burrata appetizers only to be told 5 minutes later that the scallops were not available. Another small bummer but we ordered crispy cauliflower instead and both it and the burrata were delicious. Ordered our entrees and 4 of the 5 entrees arrived, the last one (Denver steak) showed up about 10 minutes after the rest. Steak was ordered medium and came out very rare, almost raw. Because everyone else had started eating guest did not request additional cooking and server did not return in a timely manner to ask if everything was okay. We think the steak was forgotten and rushed. Steak was not eaten but side dish of hominy was very good. All other meals were excellent. At end of meal as plates were gathered guest mentioned the undercooked steak and showed it to the server and a feeble apology was made. No offer of taking it off the bill or seeing if something else could be prepared was made. We were going to order dessert but ended up forgoing it as it was 10 pm and everyone was fairly tired at that point. No manager came by so we paid and left. Fairly disappointed as much of the experience was great, but the late seating, no scallops and undercooked steak marred the meal. I found no place to leave feedback directly with the restaurant so ended up writing this review here so they would be aware. Appreciated they gluten free menu options.
UPDATE: After less than 24 hours after my dining experience, I received a friendly call from Chapin, one of the ownership team at the restaurant. She genuinely wanted to apologize for any mishaps of service and took feedback professionally and respectfully. I assured her that we overall had an excellent time and we would look forward to dining there again, especially after her personal and sincere phone call to discuss the situation. Outstanding recovery.

An Absolute Must, Even in a Snowstorm!
10/10—would trek through a blizzard again for this experience! After hauling our snowboards and bags several blocks through the snow, we arrived cold and hungry, and wow, was it worth every step. The staff was incredibly accommodating, offering a safe spot to stash our gear so we could settle in and enjoy our meal stress-free.
Now, let’s talk food—because oh my god. Their gluten-free options aren’t just good; they’re phenomenal. The gluten-free pasta? Perfection. The gluten-free burger buns? Fluffy and delicious. And the gluten-free cheesecake? Life-changing. If you’re worried about missing out on flavor, don’t be. The four-cheese pasta from the lunch menu was so rich and satisfying, it left me happily stuffed.
If you’re debating whether to go—just do it. Snow, rain, or shine, this place is absolutely worth the journey!

First time dining here tonight and had a lovely experience! Wanted a late night bite that was quality food and it really
hit the spot :) My partner is gluten free and they had a separate menu with options for him which was awesome. Matthew C. took care of us and provided exceptional service along with good conversation. He was so wonderful! Will definitely be coming back!

My first time there we went with friends and the restaurant came recomended. It’s a nice restaurant in downtown Denver. Nice atmosphere to the place and the service was really great. The main down side as a vegetarian there are basically no options. I didn’t see anything for vegan or gluten free etc. I was told by the waitress the they could ask the chef if he could throw me together some pasta. Hmm that sounds so appealing especially at those prices! Very odd that a place doesn’t cater to dietary restrictions this day and age. Most restaurants are very accommodating so that was very unfortunate.

Clear menu, great gluten free options as labeled on their website, quick service, and food was phenomenal. I had beef pad thai, my friends had curry, and drunken noodles. Everyone was so happy with their food. Many menu items can be customized to fit veggie preferences or dietary restrictions.

Our dinner party had a vegetarian, a gluten free individual and one with no dietary restrictions. ChoLon was very accommodating and even hand marked a menu to show which items were vegetarian friendly. They have a printed GF menu available as well and online. Our waitress and all staff were polite, helpful and wonderful to have.
Above and beyond all the food we ordered was delicious with our only suggestion being that the beet salad should have more beets. The dumplings, bao buns, Malaysian noodles and more were all very delicious!
Charming neighborhood vibe with top-notch pizza; quality and flavor shine despite a bit of a wait for slices during busy times.

Wait time was a bit long. It's a bunch of premade pizzas that you line up and buy a slice and then they warm it up for you. Tasted pretty good, had gluten free options (not already prepared but to be made fresh), staff were cool. Evening line was long and moved fairly slow for what it was.

We had such a great experience here!! Armando, the manager, made our friend's birthday so special! They decided to give us all desserts on the house and showered us with all these desserts. They must have given us 12-14 desserts for all of us to share on the house!! So fun and so delicious!!
All of the meals were so savory and everyone in our group of 12 was so happy with their choices. I had the tortellini au parmesana and the sauce was to die for. I was looking for something in a white wine and it was sooooo good!
Our group has gluten free and dairy free folks and they accommodated everyone.

It’s my one-year anniversary of being celiac and gluten free so I celebrated with a Snarfs burger — so good!!!
I went to the Ogden/11th location when they weren’t busy, and they were great about taking every safety precaution. The employees cleaned an area and changed their gloves before making my burger. And they were really nice about it.
The buns come sealed so they don’t get contaminated — and they are really good. They’re soft and taste like a regular bun. The next time I go to a BBQ, I’m just going to go buy a bun from Snarfs to take with me.
A warm and inviting spot that goes all out to make every visit memorable, perfect for celebrating special occasions.

This restaurant absolutely made our day! From the greeter to our server/bartender to the delicious food: we felt so taken care of and welcome. We had gluten free pizza and panini and both tasted like the real deal. Our server, Marcella, really made the experience special, and she helped us celebrate my daughter’s birthday in style. We will definitely be back again!

This place is AH-MAZING!! Carlo, the owner and who prepared our meal tonight, was so sweet. He whips up a mouthwatering meal with attention to detail and flavor. I had a bowl that was a perfect portion for a light to medium eater. The burritos are great for a larger meal. Plus there are other mouthwatering delights on the menu to round out a meal.
I am also celiac and found delicious gluten free options with no need for substitutes.
After going here it is my personal mission to tell everyone in Cap Hill and Denver to protect Carlo and Toro at all costs. He is serving up eats that leave you licking your bowls and fingertips!
A small business to return back to often!

Very poor customer service for gluten free customers we will not ever be back. We asked for our ramen gluten free and they said they would have to charge us for another dish plus they also do not have refills on iced tea without additional payment. Also, The last time my husband and I ate at this location he had stomach issues but we decided to give it another shot and again he had issues. They must really be struggling to not remake a dish for a customer with an allergy. It ruined our night and we ended up having to cancel our plans and dine at another restaurant while still having to pay here lol. Also, they don’t serve anything but cold sake and beer no wine at all
Renowned for its cozy vibe, this spot offers delightful drinks, tempting pastries, and a must-try spicy chai for your morning boost!

I ordered the chicken salad sandwich with gluten free bread. I am totally rooting for this concept to be good and enjoy it but unfortunately I was pretty disappointed by my food.
1. The curry chicken salad lacked some flavor. It was pretty bland.
2. The gluten free baguette was so dry and overpowering to the sandwich. Maybe that is why I thought the chicken salad was so bland? When using gluten free bread (and charging $4 for it) I highly highly suggest showing a little more love to the product. Toasting the bread makes a huge difference! This specific sandwich could have used some other sort of seasoning or spread on the bread. I frequently make my own chicken salad at home and it is way better than this.
I like the menu but it is easily replicable in my own kitchen with more flavor. Menu needs a little tlc.
Snooze on Broadway is our go to place for breakfast and for my mom, most everything on the menu can be made gluten free. The Gluten free pancakes are delicious ❣️
