Nectar consistently delivers great food and drinks. I love the vegetarian and gluten-free options. The no tuna fish salad is the best!! My husband is not vegetarian and gluten-free, but he loves their food too!

We've been going to the Bethany Blues on Route 1 near Lewes for several years while on our annual Rehoboth Beach trip. The food and service is always excellent, but I'm writing this review to give them the credit they deserve for being amazing with gluten restrictions/celiac. Every single time, when I mention my gluten free diet, a manager is sent to our table and is very knowledgeable about their gluten free options.
I have been gluten free since 2008 and eat out multiple times a week so I can attest that this place is definitely one of the best in handling this restriction. While most restaurants are familiar with GF diets these days, not many make a point to train their management on it and have such a consistent plan in place (they also said they now offer a gluten free bun which is great). I had the pulled pork with cheesy creamed corn and a chopped salad and it was delicious and a generous portion.
Thanks, Bethany Blues, for being so accommodating!
A cozy spot with quick seating and comfy vibes, perfect for enjoying delicious drinks while soaking up a welcoming atmosphere.

The best meal I’ve had so far on my vacation! I got the gluten free chips and queso and gluten free quesadilla, my first time having a quesadilla in forever and it did not disappoint. I didn’t have a reservation but for just me I was able to be seated right away and service was fast and attentive.
Ample parking, wide entry, and a varied menu make this new spot a great place to gather with friends and enjoy a unique dining experience.

First time visiting. Sadly not many gluten free options, but it is a pizza joint and I know this. I got the cauliflower crust 10" pizza as a white pizza. It was okay, crust was completely burnt which I was a bit sad about. It was so busy I didn'twant to wait as long as my friend did did get a new one. I personally did not feel as though I got my bang for my buck. I didn't get any toppings because each topping was an extra $2.50 on top of my already $17 pizza. I felt like the cost verses what I got was not worth it. I understand having a gluten allergy is my problem, but it's frustrating when you feel like restaurants are really over charging for way less food because of the allergy. I'm pleased my friends liked it but I personally will not go out of my way to return.
A cozy spot with a laid-back vibe, popular for its outdoor seating, dog-friendly atmosphere, and diverse menu that caters to many tastes.

One of the best spots for safe, delicious gluten-free food! Staff takes celiac seriously, manager confirmed separate cooking for my food.Clearly marked menu (GF/GFO). Favorites: shrimp & grits, crabcake sandwich, and that weirdly amazing potato salad. Even my gluten-eating husband loves it! Our favorite restaurant in Lewes & Reho.
With its exceptional garlic bread, delicious desserts, and unique table-side olive oil service, this spot is definitely worth a visit!

Would give a 4.5 if I could! We had a great experience here, esp compared to a recent visit to Salt Air. Garlic bread and olive oil/parmesan appetizer was exceptional. Pizza was great. Gluten free gnocchi was good but didn't love the think tomato sauce or slight aftertaste. Manicotti and chicken parmesan were average. Fettuccine was great. Caprese was generous and good, but not the best I've had. Dessert was so good; we got the eclair and a piglioni (gluten free almond flour cookie with one nuts). The dessert hit the spot. We bought olive oil to go as gifts and bc we enjoyed their table side of olive oil. Would come back!
A cozy spot with inviting vibes where you can celebrate special occasions and enjoy a delightful experience with attentive service.

Folks, let me tell you about a wonderful evening my family and I had at Raas, celebrating my sister's birthday. Now, my sister, she's got these dietary needs, you know, gluten and dairy restrictions, and let me tell you, the folks at Raas, they were on the ball. They knew their menu inside and out, could tell you everything about what's in each dish, and they whipped up some truly delicious options that were just right for her.
We kicked things off with some appetizers that were out of this world – Beef Stuffed Jalapeno, Beef Shammi Kebab, and Cauliflower Manchurian, each with its own unique flavor. And the cocktails? Folks, we had a few – the Cucumber Mint Mojito, Orange Cardamom Mojito, Tandori Nights, and Drunken Lassi, each one as refreshing as the next.
When it came time for the main courses, we dove into some real treats. The Mushroom, Scallion & Green Pea Masala, Chicken Tikka Masala, GG's Special Chicken Cafrea, and the Tandoori Salmon – I mean, this food was comforting, rich, and just packed with flavor. And the breads, the Roti and Garlic Naan, perfect for soaking up all those wonderful sauces.
But I'll tell you, the real highlight of the evening was meeting the owner, GG. What a guy! Friendly, welcoming – even snapped a photo of us before we headed out. Raas, it's more than just a restaurant; it's a place where you feel like part of the family. Exceptional food, attentive service, and just a warm atmosphere all around. We're definitely planning on going back soon.
Known for its rich and delicious soup, this spot offers a cozy vibe and a welcoming atmosphere that keeps visitors coming back for more.

Coffee is delicious, friendly service, can also get grounded coffee to go so you can make your own at home. Definitely a place to stop by.
Expect a vibrant atmosphere with attentive service, delicious but sometimes cold dishes, and the option for hibachi seating for a hotter meal.

WOW! This place was a great experience. Celiac rejoice! They take is seriously here. My son's meal was cooked before certain spices were added. Steak was outstanding as well as everything else. I was surprised that is wasn't more expensive too! We'll be returning!!

This place has amazing food and kind employees. They let me taste a smoothie I was unsure about getting and offered gluten free granola because of my allergy (which I haven’t really ever heard of). They had some nice deck tables outside to sit on. The atmosphere was great and loved the plants! Yummy food and options for anyone with strict diets! (Vegan, vegetarian, gluten free). Definitely recommend!!
This was always our go-to crabcake spot in the area. Unfortunately in June you changed your recipe to a gluten free only option due to using a scallop mousse filler. The resulting taste, texture, and consistency of the crabcake is subpar for the price paid. The other menu items remain the same quality as we have come to expect at Matt's. Unfortunately we are now forced to search for a new favorite seafood place.
With a stunning beachside vibe, this spot serves a variety of dishes and is known for its accommodating menu options, making it a must-visit!

On our way back from Cape May to NC we stopped off for a walk and a bite to eat in Lewes. Our main concern was my daughter's gluten sensitivity, so we chose Olive and Oats. Not only did she find something she liked, my whole family chose craft sandwiches that were savory and lean. We were blown away and it was the perfect healthy option prior to the last leg of our trip. I had the Cafe' pan Bagnat, my wife had the Mediteranean, and the other daughter had the cafe panini. It was so delicious I took the menu home and cloned it from scratch. Cant wait to visit again. 😃
We are always so satisfied with the food here as every bite of what we eat has been thourally thought out and the red pear Martin's are outstanding. Our only critique would be that Kindle should provide better gluten free options, specifically regarding your phenomenal burger. There are plenty of products available to provide a bun for a similar experience to welcome the gluten free diner.
Cozy vibes perfect for a festive gathering, with an impressive menu and a diverse wine list that enhances the dining experience.

Just before Christmas, my family and I enjoyed an amazing dinner out with good friends who recommended Harbour in Lewes, DE. We were welcomed by a warm, cozy atmosphere that perfectly accented the season. Dan, our server, was friendly and attentive, flawlessly performing the role of tour guide for the impressive menu and specials and thoughtfully offering recommendations for two in our party with gluten sensitivities. Everyone easily found something to their liking and enthusiastically savored our appetizers and entrées.
I should also give special mention to the wide-ranging wine list. We were fortunate to have a oenophile among us who started us off at appetizers with a bottle of a Sauvignon Blanc called "Attitude" by Pascal Jolivet — a light, dry white made from organic grapes in France's Loire Valley region. While certainly distinctive, it uncannily complemented everyone's selected fare, and our tablemates smiled, swirled, and sipped two more bottles before we concluded dessert.
We'll definitely be back to Harbour for more.
