This was the BEST meal I have had out in as long as I can remember. My partner is a chef and he and I have a hard time finding places to eat where we feel like it’s worth our time an money. This place is absolutely worth it! I had a smile on my face with every single bite I took. It was seriously so amazing. They off we amazing gluten free and vegetarian/vegan options, as well. Their gluten free pita was delicious and everything was perfectly seasoned, cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. Our server, Vedat was charismatic, kind, knowledgeable and just wonderful. We will be back again and again, and soon! I have already recommended this place to friends and family, and you should too!
Experience a unique pizza-making adventure with tons of customizable options and a casual atmosphere, just remember to be patient during busy times.

First time here. Reasonably priced and multiple options, including gluten-free and cauliflower crust. Friendly staff. Warehouse type atmosphere with a lot of seating. The only complaint I overheard was that the ice machine was not working, and the soda was not that cold without it. Would definitely go back. Got a gluten-free pepperoni pizza, and I liked it!

We love Savoy Taproom!! We always make a point to stop in for dinner whenever we're in the neighborhood. This is a fantastic gem for gluten free/dietary restriction folks, as there is a dedicated gluten free fryer AND most breaded/fried items are breaded in non-gluten containing batters! This is one of the only places I can get a fried chicken sandwich, fries, fried cheese curds, etc. since I've gone gluten free. Further, the craft cocktails are exquisite, the staff knowledgeable, accommodating, and kind, and the ambience great for evening/weekend dining. I can't think of a more perfect place to celebrate date night, get togethers with close friends, or any special occasions.
A vibrant spot with a warm ambiance, offering a range of delicious options and a fantastic selection of salsas and cocktails for all to enjoy.

My wife, girlfriend and I visited Toro of Albany last night and the experience left us all dissatisfied. The blue corn tortillas used for the gluten free application of the chicken tacos were meely and unappetizing. The 32$ enchiladas with shrimp were 90% tortilla. Each only had 1 shrimp and very little filling. For the price tag, we expected a fantastic meal and it was not delivered. The margaritas were ok but at 15$ a piece, seemed over priced. The only bright spot was our bar tender, rob I believe. He was smart, funny, knowledgeable and overall the best part of the experience. Overall I would say visit this spot for drinks and conversation only.

I would say gluten friendly, not gluten free. I have celiac disease and we have eaten here twice. First experience was good! Today’s visit was unfortunate.
I spoke to the staff about my food allergy, they seemed confident, and my food came out with the little allergen stick which made me feel extremely comfortable. Within minutes of eating (my delicious food) I was sick and in their bathroom for 44 minutes until I was good enough to make it home and be ill at home. I spoke to a staff member on my way out so they were aware and they were extremely kind about the situation.
If you choose to be gluten free or have no food allergies, great place and delicious food! Otherwise, be aware they are not able to accommodate allergies fully. Unfortunately, my family will not be back due to me getting glutened and being ill.
Great service and quick resolutions make this spot a favorite for large gatherings, plus they go the extra mile with thoughtful gestures!

A friend had Mission BBQ cater our party today. When we picked up the food and brought it home, we had noticed a missing item. We called them up to let them know and they were so nice and accomidating. They asked how long it would take us to return to the restaurant and had it prepped in about 10-15 min. They even provided a dessert tray and a $25 off card for the inconvenience which was truly unnecessary. This place and their staff are just absolutely lovely, so welcoming, and great with allergens! We are a big group of celiacs and had plenty of food options. I hope they get more established and stay for years to come.
With an extensive menu, a cozy vibe, and generous service, this spot is perfect for casual dining and late-night cravings.

My husband and I went for pizza tonight for our 1st time. The menu is at least 4 pages long and they have every food item you can think of—pizza-regular and gluten free, gourmet salads, strombolis, calzones, burgers, subs, gyros, quesadillas, wraps, Italian entrees, wings, shawarma, and DESSERTS. (The carrot cake is to die for.)
You can eat in or order take out. There are some booths and tables and a fireplace that adds to the ambiance of the place.
We each ordered 2 slices out of a choice of 10-12 different kinds, diet sodas and carrot cake. I took out my charge card. The order total was approximately $25 with tax. Of course I’m guessing because we didn’t pay for it! When I went to put in my card, the gentleman said “No charge. Compliments of the house!” I said, “C’mon, please tell me how much.” Wow, such a generous gesture. We appreciated that so much and we left a nice tip.
All 4 staff were welcoming, polite and were a pleasure to deal with. We definitely will go back there again and again. Christine & Rich Blackman

Classic smoothie bar and health food style spot but all vegan and gluten free so their whole menu can be enjoyed by everyone! Their salads are so delicious I loved the fresh and bright flavors of the Thai salad, while the salads are very well priced, their juice is tasty but surprisingly expensive compared to their much larger smoothies so I'd definitely go for those next time

The food was delicious and plentiful. The wait time wasn't too long. The waitress was great. My only gripe is they should just have a separated menu section for the gluten-free items.

Really happy I did not read the reviews ahead of time. This place was great. I was blown away by the amount of options that are gluten free. I had to try the gluten free mac and cheese and wow it did not disappoint. Also tried the tofu and quinoa bowl, the carrot chili vinagrette was so good! The service was top notch, and they even threw in a lemonade, I tried the habiscus lemonade which was not too sweet, just perfect. Highly recommend.

Rosanna’s on Dove Street in Albany is hands down one of the best Italian restaurants in the area.
For starters the restaurant absolutely beautiful and has so much incredible history. The building has been a landmark in Albany for over 175 years!
We went on a Tuesday and the restaurant was packed— so if that’s not a testament to how great everything is, I don’t know what else could be.
The chef, understanding dietary restrictions, which I have celiac disease, and ensures everyone is accommodated. The staff is knowledgeable and so kind, and their gluten-free menu is the most extensive in the capital region, which is inspired by New York City’s culinary scene.
This is what we had:
Drinks: I had a Cosmo Mocktail and my husband a ‘Paper Plane’ bourbon cocktail
Appetizers: LC Shrimp Balls, Fried Artichoke Hearts, and Gluten-Free Grilled Focaccia with pesto dipping sauce
Dinner: Bolognese, Lemon Chicken Breast with Risotto, and Grilled Sausage and Polenta
Dessert: Pistachio Pudding with an almond cookie, and crushed pistachios
Everything we had was Gluten Free and safely prepared in a dedicated gluten-free area. 🤗
Rosanna’s easily gets a 10/10 in our book. We can't wait to go back for more!
With a vibrant atmosphere, this spot boasts flavorful dishes, a diverse menu, and great drinks, plus a lively back scene perfect for dancing.

We showed up without a reservation and they worked to get us a table for 5 (3 adults, two kids). Our server, Danielle, was great... knowledgeable and kind, and she went out of her way to accommodate a gluten allergy. Food was cooked perfectly and we had a great time. We will be returning!

I went at the start of the day. Pleasant staff. I enjoyed how they interacted with each other. Felt very positive. Food was delicious, looked smelled and tasted so good! They have GF baked good, but all their delicious bread had gluten. I ate it anyway. No regrets!! I hot the South of the border sandwich, a massive cherry danish(because why not) that I did share and a homemade whoopie pie(not pictured). Those are my weakness. Say whoopie pie and I'm there!
Great atmosphere and excellent margaritas, though service can be hit or miss; still worth a visit for a unique dining experience.

I was really hyped about Moliendo Café because I had heard such great things. I don’t wanna complain about everything but overall we were just not very impressed. The owner greeted us off the start and was excellent, but from there the service went down as our waiter was absent quite a bit and forgot more than one of our orders. The food was pretty good. But not what I had expected from the hype. Good atmosphere tho. Overall I had a good experience. The margaritas are Very good tho! I do look forward to returning as maybe it was an “off day” which is understandable. Very traditional food that can be made gluten free and that’s hard to find. All in all I was happy with Moliendo Café.

Delicious South Indian food made by very nice folks. Lots of options for common dietary considerations (vegan, vegetarian, gluten free). The whole spices and fresh ingredients used in the kitchen lead to incredible flavors, and all the breads are well made. The lunch buffet is awesome. Ask about the student discount!

While searching for gluten-free restaurant options in Albany, I saw the Fusion restaurant on Madison…. 4.9 rating on over 100 reviews, and convinced my wife to go. The food was tremendous, and the service was excellent. I had chicken pad Thai and my wife had dumplings and pork fried rice. The food came out very quickly and it was so satisfying. We were exploring the Albany area from Springfield MA and decided to take a chance. I will do it again if I’m in the area and I will try the Colombian section of the menu.

We had a great dinner! This was our first time here, and we sat at the bar prior to dinner. Ralph the bartender greeted us with a smile and made us some amazing martinis!
When seated, we were served by Neil and Alex. Our food was exceptional. (Sidenote: they have gluten free rolls if you ask) Zach recommended some wine and told us a bit about the winemaker. Overall it was a great experience.

My wife and I ordered a huge amount of their food from the hub a few weeks ago. It was fabulous. I was a bit worried, as my wife has celiac disease, which means that she can't eat wheat or wheat flour. She called and spoke to a very friendly woman who helped her pick out dishes that only used chickpea flour, rice, etc., given her gluten/wheat allergy. Based on my wife's allergy, we ordered accordingly. We got the chicken pakora, dal of the day, lamb biryani, chicken vindaloo, chana masala, a salad, and everything was delicious. Most importantly, my wife felt fine after eating all this wonderful food. She can usually tell if things have wheat/flour in it, by stomach pain, etc. But, everything we ordered was great. Hats off to this restaurant. The gal my wife spoke to when she called to tell them about her allergy, was super helpful. And the chefs are obviously extremely talented. It was possibly the best Indian food we have ever had, in terms of the best flavor, and tender, succulent lamb, chicken, spices, etc.
The bartender told my friend with a Gluten Allergy that if she ordered the turkey burger plain, he couldn't guarantee it would come that way. For an $18 meal, that is ludicrous.
She then ordered queso with tortilla, for the side with her new choice. Not until we received it. Did we realize, they are flour tortillas. Which the server knew she couldn't order.
Restaurants are part of the service industry and taking care of the customers should be paramount.
Do better! Show some care!
