I would stay away from this location at all costs. Stopped in to grab dinner after a panthers game 11/24/24, obviously knew it was going to be busy and expected a long wait. The host/hostess said we were looking at an hour which again was no biggie considering there was a line out the door when we arrived. So strike number one, we are a family of 4, another family of 4 behind us in line proceeded to tip the hostess to get seated in front of everyone and sure enough they did. The host/hostess also proceeded to seat some their “friends” before everyone else too. To each their own, but shame on the hostess for taking the money and I hope management sees this and takes proper disciplinary action. Now after about a 45 minute wait we were seated, not quite the hour that we were expecting so could easily look past the bribing of from the people that got seated before us. Our waiter took our drink order brought the drinks back in a timely fashion and then took our order. We ordered 2 gluten free pizzas as one of our kids has celiac and the other was for someone who just doesn’t like to eat gluten, we also ordered a regular crust medium pepperoni pizza. After a few minutes of discussing the servers allergy in comparison to our sons allergy the server then proceeded to put our order in. Now here is strike 2, a while has passed by and our server comes by and says I think your order should be coming up shortly. Again not a big deal as I know they were busy, hence the hour wait to sit down, so no biggie. Then about 45 after we sat down the server comes to us and starts apologizing repeatedly that he has no idea why our food hasn’t come out yet. Mind you the entire time we as a family have been very understanding of the situation and not really sure why the server is apologizing so much, it’s busy we understand. After about an hour after sitting down our food comes out but there’s a problem, one of the gluten free pizzas was entered incorrectly as just an “allergy” so was prepared as dairy free. The other pizzas were prepared as they should be, but unfortunately the persons pizza that was incorrect was the one who has celiac. So the manager said they will put an urgent refire for the gluten free pizza, oh and this is just a gluten free “cheese” pizza. That ended up taking about another 30 minutes. Again, people make mistakes, it’s busy, shit happens, but we have now been at this establishment for well over 2 hours pushing into 3. Now here is strike 3, I’m not one who looks at getting anything for free, but when you’ve been at an establishment for almost 3 hours, been jumped in front of in line by money and friendship, and you finally get your order and the one person who needs it to be correct is wrong some sort of compensation should have been offered, but all we got were a lot of apologies. We paid our bill and I still tipped normal 20% as I know it was busy and not all faults fall on a server, but I people read this and take this into consideration when making a choice to eat at this locations.

Really nice place to get breakfast if you are staying at the hotel next door. Really friendly service, always helpful and the food is really tasty. Gluten-free bread is also available for some of the dishes.
A sleek and elegant spot perfect for celebrations, it offers flavorful oysters and a quieter atmosphere than most downtown places.

I have been oyster bar hopping this year and this is becoming my go to spot. I tend to try all the local (NC/VA) oysters and then get more of my favorites. But Mike, the manager recommended Rocky Rhodes after hearing my favorite oysters are meaty and briny and if that sounds like your oysters please try them. They are a new favorite.
The non-celiac member of the party wanted me to shout out the shrimp po' boy as well.
The wait staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive despite the busy Saturday atmosphere.
I can't wait to go to the oyster happy hour next!
Final note: I am very sensitive to sound and crowded restaurants are a big offender for this. I've only ever sat at the bar here, it's been close, but I've not had to use my earbuds yet. Mileage may vary, but its acoustics definitely make it quieter than a lot of other places I've been downtown on a Saturday.
Hadn't been to Uncle Maddios in a while. I built my own pizza for lunch on a wheat crust. As always there's fresh veggies gluten free crust & other healthy options. I don't like the fact that u can't call in an order for lunch. Management said the reason is so they can focus on the customers in the store. I agree but think they should accept call in orders b/c everyone else does it & some people don't have an hour to eat.
A charming spot with a rotating menu and a cozy vibe, perfect for a delightful night out or a casual hang with friends.

Our servers were great about checking for food allergies, and they even had a gluten-free menu for people who need to avoid gluten. They had a decent selection of items, but not a large menu. The food came out in good time. It was well prepared and had good flavor. The servers kept the drinks filled and were attentive to our party of about 20.

Absolutely amazing! Introduced my son to French cuisine and oysters for the first time. Everything we tried was delicious, fresh and perfectly seasoned. We also appreciated the gluten free offerings, including pastries. I’ll add that the service was wonderful-we felt cared for and welcomed and my son enjoyed the staff sharing about different oyster types and asking about his experience. What a treat to repeat! Already planning our return…
Exceptional service and a lively atmosphere make this ideal for dates or pre-show dinners, with a menu that adapts to various preferences.

A great place for a date night or before a show at Blumenthal! They have a very large GF menu. Just ask your server. Most of the items are just modified from the regular menu. I feel very safe eating here!

Only giving 4 stars instead of 5 because I ordered my burger without cheese and still ended up receiving a burger with cheese on it. The burger itself was great besides the stomach pain due to the cheese. Didn't realize order was incorrect till we got back to our hotel. Despite this, I was very satisfied with the gluten free bun. The sweet potato tots were the best part of my meal by far, and I'm not even a huge fan of sweet potato. If you're on the fence about trying them, just do it!

One of our favorite Uptown restaurants — part of the Dressler’s restaurant group. We always have a great dining experience — and recommend “The Treatment” menu. You receive multiple dishes chosen by the kitchen — it is a great sampling of the flavorful creations. If you are looking for a smaller meal, definitely recommend the Poke bowl — it is absolutely delicious (if raw fish is your thing). The staff is very considerate when it comes to accommodating dietary restrictions such as gluten-free. The one downside is there have yet to be gluten-free desserts!

Nice restaurant inside the downtown Marriott. For those who need to eat gluten-free, quite a few options and the server we had was very knowledgeable. Open air concept next to a rather large bar. Food is sourced directly from local farms. Foid portions and quality very good and extremely convenient if going to an event at the Spectrum Center. Our server ended up being monopolized by another patron -- lots of chatter about personal history -- to the point that there was an extreme drop off in service to our table - drinks went dry, dirty dishes not removed,a very long wait to get our check. We would go back, but hope the service is better.

Incredible experience!!! I have Celiac Disease and am Vegan, and I really love how the chef is able to always prepare something safe for me to have! From a great salad to an exquisite dish, depending on the ingredients he has available he can put something together. Last night he created an incredible Vegan Mushroom Risotto that was celiac safe and out of this world delicious! Always a great experience and I have never had a reaction! They also have several options that are gluten free as well for entrees. Thank you so much to the chef!
Delicious, fast, friendly, gluten free options too. It's on the downstairs level of a larger building, the signs on the upper floor don't really point you in the direction.
Vibrant atmosphere with expertly crafted drinks and a bustling vibe, making it a must-visit spot to unwind and enjoy the moment.

Absolutely AMAZING food and drinks! Wonderful, friendly service, and the staff was upfront and honest about the wait (we went at prime doordash game time when they were swamped). Had a drink at the bar while we waited for our table, and they were very well made. Once seated, we didn't wait or want for anything. 100% recommend! Beautiful, delicious, FILLING. Oh and gluten free accommodations!

What a fantastic experience!
We’d made a reservation for a 6PM dinner but showed up early because we were finished with the Mint Museum ahead of schedule—the museum is right up the street from Room 112, a seven-minute walk, FYI.
But Room 112 seated us early and courteously.
Our server, Nick, was wonderful. Nick checked on us frequently, refilled our waters constantly—I can’t tell you how often restaurant servers do not refill waters enough! I also mentioned that I had Celiac’s disease and we had a brief conversation about ingredients. As soon as I said something, Nick doubled-checked everything I ordered to make sure I could consistently avoid my allergen.
By the time we left, the place was crowded. The sushi was delicious and the kitchen was willing to change my order slightly to accommodate the gluten allergy. We were also served gluten-free soy sauce upon request.
Highly recommend. Affordable dinner uptown, convenient to activities!
Famed for its unique blend of chunky, sweet and spicy chicken, this spot has earned rave reviews despite operating solely as a ghost kitchen.

I have Celiac so am strictly Gluten Free. This is a great spot to get Gluten Free fried Chicken in Charlotte. However, they most recently messed up my order completely. After specifying I had celiac, they decided to put bread under each piece of chicken. Very disappointing experience overall. Don't really understand how they can't communicate that to the chef well. Had I not noticed the bread underneath the food, it could've easily gone unnoticed and gotten me very sick through cross-contamination.
We ordered food for pickup and it was alright.
The reason for the 1 star was because we noted on the online order and confirmed at the restaurant that the soy sauce we got did not have wheat in it and that it was gluten free...it was definitely not gluten free. My partner has a severe allergy to gluten and ate it back at the hotel
Get ready for an unforgettable dining experience with exceptional flavors and a vibrant atmosphere that'll keep you coming back for more.

Beautiful restaurant and initially good food until my friend ended up in the hospital. If you have ever been a patreon of this restaurant, you know their menu details different items and allergen free options, such as dairy free (DF) or gluten free (GF). My friend has a severe nut allergy and chose two nut-free (NF) items from the menu: samosa and butter chicken wings. Please note she ordered the wings and not the butter chicken wings. Her food came out prior to ours, about ten minutes prior. After finishing the meal, we headed back to my hotel room. At this point, she fell extremely ill, experiencing gastrointestinal issues and severe allergy symptoms such as wheezing and a swollen tongue. We called for paramedics, who stated that her symptoms were most likely due to consuming an allergen, which was confirmed by the hospital. I am extemely disgusted and angered by the restaurant, particularly for their poor response and reaction when I called them to inform them of this issue and all they could utter was "oh..oh.. we're sorry". So many things could have gone wrong and all we receive is a sorry? No follow up of how CROSS CONTAMINATION could have occured, or how the restaurant will ensure this will never happen again? If you have any allergens or food aversions due to health restrictions, I would NOT recommend this restaurant as they do not care to ensure your health and safety is a priority.
Great attention to detail with reservations and service, but double-checking on dietary needs is a must for a smoother experience.

Well we were originally really impressed that when we made the reservation online that they asked about each person’s food restrictions. Then when we got there, the host confirmed that we needed one gluten free and dairy free menu. We were seated and the server was there immediately, very attentive and personable. He confirmed that I could not eat gluten or dairy. The menu I received had gluten free on one side and vegetarian on the other. All of this made me feel very confident. But then the food was brought out and every dish had butter and/cream. The staff quickly went into action to repair the error and comp’d my sides, but still, my husband had to eat alone while the kitchen was trying to repair. The new sides were not very interesting (plain baked potato and steamed asparagus), but kept me healthy and safe. We will definitely be back, but will just be more cautious next time.

Amazing! Tons of gluten free options, excellent lunch combos, and you can literally roast a s'more for dessert!! Overall fantastic, will absolutely come back. My only comment is the s'more dessert should be at least 2 smores 😂 you can't have just one (also maybe some GF graham's would be good, but I'll just bring my own next time haha)

Tanya waited on my husband an I..she was so sweet and careful about making sure that my food was gluten and dairy free since I have allergies to both. Tanya showed so much compassion and reassured me that my food was safe to eat. All of the staff were warm and welcoming. The decor was cool. The music was great. And the food was excellent. Very tasty salmon and jasmine rice.

Typically not a salad kind of girl, but this place was really great! They had excellent variety, and extremely clear markings for common dietary needs (gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, etc.). I also found it helpful that they validate up to two hours in the parking garage behind the building as parking on the street during lunch downtown can be hectic. I would recommend this place. :)
Enjoy a delightful atmosphere complemented by attentive service, perfect for a relaxing outing with friends or a special occasion.

First time here and had such a lovely experience. Our waiter Carlos (I believe was his name) was amazing! I had to restrict myself from gluten and dairy and he made sure none of my food had that stuff.
We enjoyed the scallops and the branzino.
It's a little bit expensive but the food was awesome.
A member of my party has a gluten allergy and they were very helpful and ensured his dinner had no gluten.
First time at Bisonte Pizza and we'll definitely be back. It is a really cool restaurant with a great atmosphere. My husband and son ordered the wings.. They loved them!! They also ordered the bacon ranch pizza and loved it too.
I'm vegan/Gluten free so right off the bat our waitress Ashleigh said her roommate was vegan so she could help me order. I had the gluten-free crust with the veggie pizza no cheese... It was so good!!!!! Great job Bisonte!!
Great service, nice atmosphere. Wagyu steak medium well was incredibly tender but not very flavorful. Everything else was delicious including the gluten free bread.
