Super good experience! We had a glass of wine while we waited (only 5 min, even though they said 10-15). Delicious appetizers with dips and gluten-free bread – really tasty. The waiter even offered extra bread for free. The main course was big and good, and we took leftovers home. We got dessert wine and ice cream for the bill, and they had allergies under control. We came at 9.30pm without reservation on a Monday and were lucky to get a last minute reservation on-site for 11pm. It was worth the wait!! Perfect local wone, greek salad with ingredients from a farm nearby, eggs with tomatos, goat cheese platter - you could taste how fresh everything was!
Please offer in the future also gluten-free bread/pita for the unfortunate ones:)

We were craving lamb and the place was completely packed so we gave it a go.
We started with a nice mixed salad with figs, cheese and walnuts. We asked for roasted mixed vegetables to go with our entree but they brought it out right after our salad so we ate it while it was still warm - really good flavour. The lamb was very tender and flavourful but we just couldn’t enjoy the crispy potatoes with it… too much crunch and grease.
Because my husband is gluten free, the gratis dessert was something called a “sweet spoon”. It was interesting but we would never eat it again. An ice cream, yogurt or panne cotta would have been nicer.

A local gem! Unpretentious food cooked with flavour and imagination!
My hubby is gluten-free and there were many options to choose from which is always important for us.
We started with a mixed salad with lovely petite, black-eyed peas. It was big enough to share and had a lovely light lemon and oil dressing.
Also as an appetizer, we had the tuna tartar, served on top of wilted spinach with minced carrot and cucumber topped with watercress.
Hubby had the roasted lamb, which was really quite spectacular and I had the roasted rabbit with thin-sliced potatoes on the bottom and a lovely béchamel sauce on top - very delicious with subtle flavours that really let the rabbit sing.
As is Cretan tradition, they offered us a free dessert and when they found out he couldn’t have wheat provided us with a beautiful dessert made from whipped meringues with corn flour topped with a homemade marmalade. It was large enough to share and was absolutely what we hoped for… super light and not too sweet.
Service was impeccable, and our waiter was even kind enough to provide us with some suggestions for live music written on a piece of paper. Highly recommended!
