Brandon was our server and he did AMAZING! It was a Saturday night though not very busy inside dining, yet the door dash and other deliveries are slamming the restaurant and it felt like he was virtually running the whole front of the restaurant by himself, making drinks for people, serving us very well, and assuring my girlfriend with her gluten free and vegetarian options as well as ensuring I was able to customize my order which tasted beyond what I’ve eaten before. I’ve had a lot of carne asada but their burrito customized with the carne asada is immaculate! We love the area and we can’t pass on such incredible service from Brandon and the quality of the food! Great atmosphere and gluten free / vegetarian options!

Thanks to some recommendations I found on Eat Gluten Free AZ on Instagram, we stopped at Diego Pops near our hotel in Old Town Scottsdale for happy hour where all apps and margaritas are half off. They have a marked gluten free menu which is important to me as a Celiac. I was told that their fryer is dedicated but flour tortillas are stored near it, so to avoid potential cross contamination, avoid the fried foods. After being put on a 15 minute wait list, we were seated outside. The weather was fantastic so it was very comfortable in the outdoor dining area next to the bar. On the table are 6 different sauces. Try them all - my favs were the pink one and the light green serrano one. We got a frozen house blue raspberry margarita, 2 Diego (house) margaritas, a cheese quesadilla (not GF, but my husband loved it), elote (great), a bowl of tortilla soup (12/10 it was delicious), a corn cheese dip (fine) with tortillas rather than chips to avoid potential gluten cross contamination, and a pineapple pork bowl with coconut rice (not a fan.) Between ordering our drinks and when our food came out, it was like maybe 40 minutes. We didn't mind because the weather was good and we were chatting and had our drinks, but our waitress kept updating us that she was on the kitchen to bring out our stuff. We were like, "it's fine." She came out 2 more times and said the kitchen had lost our ticket. Whatever, we were in no rush. Stuff happens. She was super apologetic even though we didn't complain and the manager came over and gave us vouchers for 6 free tacos and comped our entire meal!!! We told them it wasn't necessary and we could pay but the waitress said it was thanks for being so nice and understanding. That made me feel sad that they clearly deal with a lot of rude, unreasonable people. It wasn't necessary to comp our meal or give us free taco vouchers. We did tip her in cash an amount that would have been 1/3 of the original bill. Please don't go expecting free food but if you're in Scottsdale, please go check out the food at Diego Pops and get the tortilla soup for sure.

I have celiac. We discussed the issue extensively with the server who assured me I was in a good spot and all would be fine. Unfortunately, it wasn’t. They messed up the order and brought out a wonton taco plated with the corn taco and the server advised the entire plate was gluten free. Only after eating the wonton did I discover the issue. The server apologized and contacted a manager. That’s where things took a bad turn. The manager, a very young blonde female, who clearly couldn’t be bothered with severe food allergies, came out, referred to the situation as a “small issue”, proceeded to blame me, and then offered three separate excuses for why this happened. Setting aside that each excuse was unsatisfactory, it was abundantly clear neither she, or the restaurant, took food allergies seriously. My valentines date/dinner was entirely ruined, not to mention a very expensive trip to Arizona, for which I am only on day 1 and will inevitably spend the rest of the trip in the hotel bathroom. Despite being celiac, I’m a foodie and eat in some of the best restaurants across the country. This may be some of the worst service, and particularly management, I’ve ever seen.

Went here on Christmas Eve for dinner and had a great meal. We had the pollo street tacos and the kale salad with salmon. I was impressed by the level of attention the staff gave to my dining partner’s gluten sensitivity as they made a special version of salsa that was gluten free as their regular salsa has soy sauce. They also brought grilled tortillas for her to enjoy the guacamole as their regular salsa tortilla chips could be exposed to gluten in the fryer. We had a minor issue with how the salmon was prepared and the executive chef took over to remake it himself. I would definitely return for another meal on my next visit. There were a few items I wanted to try that I was just too full to add to the table.

I just wasn't a fan of their flavors. But everything else was great. Their staff was terrific.. very good service. The Cadillac margarita was so sour I couldn't drink it. So I got a berry one and that was better . Ceviche Sol was very good. Liked the Carnitas platter. But the food in general just was nothing outstanding. They do have a gluten free menu. There were lots of options. Their chips are fried in the same fryer as the flour items. So cross contamination can occur. I didn't really like the food and it was a bit pricey so I won't be going back. But that is just a matter of taste. It was done well, service was good. Nice place.

Service and ambiance were great. Enjoyed the chips and salsa. The food not so much. They seem to have alot of gluten free options though. Will consider checking out other things on the menu!

Outdoor space is great when weather allows! Neat spot with old traditional ambience. Gluten free menu available with a good variety of food, attached in pics. Tried the red enchiladas, and did not think they had any flavor. They are also very small, and only available in chicken, can't sub other meat. Waiter was very nice and accommodating to help me find a meal I would like and replace it. Guacamole is great and chips are gluten free too. Red chili pork chop had a great presentation and even better flavor.

I had made reservations for 14..Upon arrival, our table was already set and ready for us. I appreciated they allowed "separate checks" too. Our server was Aaron and he was fantastic! Chips and salsa were kept filled, as well as our drinks. Foot was hot and tasty and I loved their lunch menu prices! Another plus was a Gluten Free menu . "Thank you" to each of you for making today an enjoyable experience. "We'll be back!"

My wife, daughter, and I had dinner at salt and lime this evening and had a great experience. Both my wife and daughter have a very aggressive allergy to both gluten and dairy and it is challenging to find restaurants that can accommodate such specific allergies. Staff went out of their way to make sure that we were aware of all of the ingredients in the foods that they were serving and both my wife and daughter had a wonderful experience. We will continue to come back to places like this because of people that work in establishments like this. Thank you to such a wonderful staff.

Best brunch place we've been to maybe in forever. They have many gluten free options, but for the non gf, the carne asada la dona was " amazing. I'd come just back for this". The bottomless mimosas are amazing, and the service is next level. If you haven't brunched here yet, why not??!! And the butter cake is next level. (Not gf, but the strawberries were perfect). Visit this place!!!

The table-side guac, tacos, and unique cocktails always have me coming back. I should also mention that I have a gluten intolerance, and I have never had an issue here. Moreover, Marco at the back bar will make you feel welcomed, well taken care of, and have you laughing within seconds.

Aesthetic, cute spot and good food. I was impressed with the quality food and cocktails, I liked the ambiance and music. It was pretty chill on a Sunday afternoon. Will definitely return. Plus they have gluten free options on the menu which is what I have to eat so it’s nice that they are marked as such on the menu.

This location is among my favorite Chipotles. It always appears clean and well maintained. The food is consistent in its quality. The staff is friendly and they have a good attitude when requested to accommodate gluten allergies, even when it's busy. Right now, the restaurant has implemented procedures to reduce the transmission of Covid. It's always a pleasure to come here because I know what to expect.

One of the Best Mexican restaurants in Scottdale , the food is Amazing, it was so yummy ,I forgot to take pictures :) next time ! The service is very good in General , our waiters in the first visit were much better and knowledgeable of gluten free options . We sat outside both times for dinner . Price is very reasonable too . Must visit in Scottdale, AZ.

Pretty good. Not a lot of vegetarian options, but a couple. The avacado taco is pretty good. Didn't see anything for gluten free menu. Service is pretty good every time I've been. If you sit in the wrong spot inside then you're going to have to shout like it's a night club to talk to each other.

I was amazed with the food. Not fancy. Quick. The server Maria was so sweet. The lobster tacos were yummy. My kids had a blast. Perfect for quick authentic Mexican food that caters to gluten and dairy free.

Ok but WAY over priced. We got 2 meals, 1 appetizer & 1 beer and without tip our bill was $73. They charge extra for a few corn shells for the fajitas (I'm gluten free) and for a second basket of chips for our party of 4. Won't be going back.
