I would recommend this place to anybody who needs to be gluten free as they have a completely dedicated gluten-free kitchen. If you want authentic, this place has it and it is really good with lots of different choices. The bathrooms are large and accessible, the bar has a beautiful atmosphere and plenty of seating. They have plenty of seating, staff are very attentive. I never ran out of water, or ice for my other drinks, they are also very knowledgeable about their menu and if you tell them what your specific diet is, what might be the most go-to option or which ones to avoid. I have not sat down in a restaurant and had that great of service in a long time and so it was refreshing. They have plenty of outdoor seating as well if it's a nice day, If you go to St. Louis, this is a must-go-to spot.

Went because of the gluten free options and cinco d mayo and the sever said she was sending over the manager to discuss my options. A female came over and discussed it with me then I ordered the ahi tuna taco gluten free with corn tortillas. We also ordered a margarita and it was non drinkable. When a male came to bring our food he gave me the wrong plate it had beans on it . I told him the manager that came to talk to me said the beans were not safe. He got upset and said he was the manager not her! Then realized he gave me the wrong food anyway. The food I ordered was wrong also as it had been made with soy sauce and was NOT safe for me to eat but he tried arguing with me. I will not be back.

It's good but too spicy. I wish they had a mild version. Service is okay. Don't be surprised if there is a little delay with your waitor/waitress. Had informed my waitress I was celiac and need everything gluten free. Ordered the BLT taco asking to make it gluten free, waitress didn’t inform me that it can’t be made gluten free. This is the best Mexican food I have had since we left Texas in 1989. Authentic Tex-Mex. Great Mole sauce— the real thing! I have to eat Gluten Free (or die), and they have so many, many GF dishes, plus the staff actually know what GF means and can suggest and help me order. OMG, this is my favorite restaurant in Springfield now, bar NONE. We always get enough to take home an extra whole meal for each of us the next day. If you love Tex-Mex, you will love this place. Homemade tortillas— I had to ask TWICE about the corn tortillas (they were so tender and fluffy) to make sure they weren’t flour, the first time I tasted them. I haven’t eaten this kind of goodness since my friend’s Mexican Grandma in Dallas cooked for me. I’m not kidding. Great sizeable portions, too. The only truly 5-star place in Springfield!
