How lovely to find a place that is entirely gluten free!! Also vegan and sugar free. The meals were delicious, the desserts were ok. All quite pricey but I guess that's the cost of fresh and healthy.
This cozy spot is a hidden gem with a laid-back vibe, great cocktails, and fun weekly deals that keep diners coming back for more.

I’m Celiac and they used clean pans for me and was extremely accommodating and knowledgeable about cross contamination and how to keep me safe. Very happy with service.
A local gem with a cozy vibe, serving authentic dishes made from scratch, and even their own ice cream—definitely worth a visit!

If you are in the area, Theo's is a MUST GO, and ask for Nadine!! I have celiac and their menu did not disappoint. I had so many options to choose from, I needed extra time. We started with the calamari, ordered the oysters and lamb shoulder platters. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect. Nadine is amazing: her cheerful personality, her knowledge of the menu, and the history of the house was spot on! Spend some time reading the captions under the pictures. Best experience ever!! Highly recommend!
Enjoy a cozy spot with tasty ramen and sushi, vibrant decor, and a welcoming vibe, though seating can fill up fast.

Great place with vegan and gluten free options. Always friendly, a little bit pricey, but what isn't nowadays! The restaurant is small inside so there isn't always seating immediately available, and they are usually busy because they are so good!
Chill vibe, creative dishes, and a sunny deck atmosphere make this hidden gem a perfect spot for dates or gatherings with friends.

Fantastic food! I had the Smoked Salmon poached egg bowl, and my partner had the tofu bowl. We are gluten free, which was easily accommodated. Lots of GF and DF options. Would definitely eat here again!

I was very pleased to hear that they have a dedicated gluten-free fryer! French fries!!! The gravy is also GF. They took good care to alleviate as much potential for cross-contamination as possible. Eating out is such a luxury.
Amazing spot. Went on a quiet night. Nice and chill relaxed. Had an amazing chowder and my wife had a gluten free options which is always tough to find. Will be back
Phenomenal service and shared enjoyment of Taylor Swift makes for a return-visit guarantee.

Farty vibes. Sports bar for kids. Had the 'gluten free' pasta but if you'd heard my butt last night you'd absolutely agree that it did indeed contain gluten. It sounded like the Titanic lost in fog. At one point it startled my partner awake and he shouted "ICEBERG AHEAD!". Went with friends, they're cool, they get 5 stars out of 5.
Excellent traditional style Mexican cuisine. Gluten Free/Celiac options are no problem here! All dishes were amazing with fantastic flavor. Staff were friendly, accommodating and fun! We will be back!

Sociale is a must-stop if you’re enjoying a day at the beach! Our server Selina was excellent and so patient with us. The food was to die for, there were lots of gluten free options, and the servers are all very knowledgeable and attentive. 10/10 would recommend.
Great little cafe, the owner is beyond lovely. They make great tea lattes. Unfortunately as someone with celiac disease you cannot eat there, as there is cross contamination and not many gluten free options other than the options they have from the Penticton restaurant called Gratify. They have some of gratify’s deserts and now the bowls which I noticed the last time I was in there. The bowls may be safe as long as the lids have not been removed. But the treats are all in the same cabinet as gluten containing treats and it looks as though they use the same tongs for all treats, so there will be cross contamination there.
I only ever go for lattes here, but they are some of the best lattes in town. I’ve never had any symptoms with the lattes I have gotten from here. Make sure if you are going with oat milk to ask if it’s gluten free.
Would highly recommend, but if you have celiac disease, just be aware of the potential cross contamination with the food. If you do not have celiac disease I’ve heard the food and treats are wonderful! Have one or two for me 🫶🏻😊

So good we came back twice during our trip. We were also lucky for the menu to have changed slightly from our first visit so was able to try different tapas dishes.
This is the spot for Celiacs, 99% of their menu is gluten-free except for their bread. Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. Presentation was top notch.
If you are looking for a quick bite, this is not the place. It's an experience, order a bunch of dishes to share (min. 2 dishes/person), try some of their cocktails or wine and take in the beautiful view from your table.
Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes and wine. Our lunch server saw that we had returned and came by to welcome us back. Definitely a nice gesture.

I’ve been here a couple times now and it’s truly an amazing restaurant. The food is delicious, the service is fantastic, and the restaurant itself is beautiful. I would highly recommend the aburi nigiri. They are also great for those with dietary restrictions. I have celiac disease and they will always accommodate if they can.
Expect a delightful surprise with upscale decor and a standout menu offering a variety of options, ensuring an unforgettable dining experience.

I was really excited for this dinner due to the high rating but unfortunately was really disappointed with this restaurant. Our server wasn’t friendly and made it feel very snooty and uncomfortable.
The servers weren’t very accommodating of dietary restrictions. I’m celiac and they were unable to provide safe GF options for any of the carbs (potato, bulgar, pita) so I left quite hungry. They also never came back with an answer on if the feta was pasteurized which is necessary during pregnancy.
Our server told us this was ‘elevated dining’, but this really missed the mark, certainly wouldn’t return.
Conveniently located with a diverse menu, this spot impresses with attentive service and tasty options, making it a delightful dining experience.

I was in Penticton for a couple of days on my way home from a trip to Edmonton. I reached out to my niece to meet for dinner while I was in town and she recommended Palmer. I happened to be staying next door at the Hotel Penticton so this was super convenient.
Their menu has a good variety without being overwhelming. There’s bound to be something to appeal to everyone. My niece ordered the Miso Glazed Salmon and I had the Chicken Presse. Both meals were very tasty and decent portions.
Our server was very attentive and when I mentioned that my Guinness was quite flat, she brought me a different drink and even comp’d the drink as well as remove the stale drink.
After our meal, our server listed off some dessert options and we selected their Turtle Cheesecake which is both gluten free and dairy free (my niece has dietary restrictions) and it was surprisingly tasty. The coconut whip “cream” was a nice touch.
I will be trying Palmer for breakfast before I leave and see if a steakhouse is capable of doing breakfast.

This is definitely one of if not the best pizza place in Penticton.
My partner is gluten intolerant so we hadn't tried this place because they do not offer GF base... However!! The flour they use in their pizza is imported from Italy and it is a lot easier on the stomach and we were able to eat the regular dough no problem!! We have heard other people who are gluten intolerant say the same.
The pizza is absolutely delicious and the atmosphere is fun and inviting.
Definitely reccomend
Nice little “ trendy “place. I waited in the big line up. I ordered the smoked salmon toast with extra egg and the blueberry dream smoothie and also a gluten-free apple ginger muffin……the prices are a little bit more than announced on their website…. one dollar more for the toast and $.95 more for the smoothie ….the smoked salmon toast has a good presentation and the taste was OK ….however the blueberry dream smoothie tasted a little bit like peanut butter and not much for the rest……the muffin had no pieces of Apple inside only a couple of slices on top and mostly tasted like ginger…..overall for a price of $30…..will not be coming back. I waited quite a while for the toast to be ready…. I took my order to go as most tables with shade well all taken
, there was only a few tables left in the sun….
July 09,2019 Went here for a to go item-my wife got gluten free pad thai and said it was delicious, good price as it made enough for two meals. The waitress was really friendly and talked to us while we waited, the food was done really fast yet tasted really fresh. Will come back one day!!
As someone who has to eat gluten free I was extremely disappointed in the menu options. My only options were a power bowl or fish.
The ambience in he restaurant is wonderful and we used to always go there for a nice higher end dinner. A couple of years ago they had an amazing menu with lots of good gluten free options. Now they don’t list any gluten free options and as mentioned there were only three things I was advised I could have. We won’t be going back and we won’t be recommending the restaurant to others.
Chill vibe with weekly meal specials and tasty take-home options, making it a perfect spot for delicious plant-based eats.

The Angry Vegan offered a satisfying meal with excellent gluten-free options. The standout dish for me was the unforgettable potato salad. Highly recommend! Love the take home frozen meals, so convenient.
Molto Bravo! Very Well Done! Both the Sunday String Band and The Screendoor did a magnifico or magnificent job this evening. Compliments to the Chefs for all of the gluten-free food I ate!
A deliciously superb share-plate tapas-styled dinner paired with a recommended Hillside Winery 2015 Gamay Noir, topped off with a petite four-square dessert and a fine port. Oh yea everything we ate 100% Gluten-free Celiac-friendly. Thanks to the awesome chefs for their dedication in producing the Celiac-friendly meal and to the our server for her diligence at being respectful, helpful and patient with our slow dining. It's all GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!
Consistently upbeat and engaging atmosphere with super helpful team members ready to make your visit enjoyable.

I don't eat at Starbucks because of gluten. Their drinks, well, I mean, always great!! I'd like to focus my review on the customer service/the staff. These ladies and gents are ALWAYS happy, respectful, engaging, patient, and helpful. Thanks Starbucks in both locations in Penticton!!

Excellent experience here. Came in for lunch, with Celiac it can be “iffy” but Brodo nails it. They clearly understand the Gluten Free needs and were very helpful with it. Had the Cubano with GF bread. AMAZING. Partner had the soup flight and enjoyed them all. Will definitely go back next time in town.
I am gluten free and Match offers a menu of very tasty options. Top it off with their exceptional service and happy hour drinks and you can count on a perfect evening out .

I took my mom here for dinner. We both really enjoyed our meal. The merlot was perfect too! You just know when food is made with love. The service was lovely and you truly feel welcome. Super clean! I look forward to going back and trying something else on the menu. I have a gluten allergy but there was a lot for me to choose from. I will definitely go back, especially to eat on the unique patio. I highly recommend this little gem

A massive contribution to Penticton’s small and thriving coffee/wine scene. Soe feels intentional, intimate, and a deeply thoughtful in all of their offerings and with every designed inch of the interiors. So grateful to have these doors open for business and can’t wait to see this space grow to become an essential experience for anyone near and far. I really appreciated there being gluten free and vegan options too! Thanks again for the lovely experience and I’ll be back again soon ◡̈
