The best gluten free pizza I've ever had! I've been let down so many times by both local and chain pizza places. Most gluten free pizzas are too dense, taste like vegetables (when there aren't any in the pizza), and/or too thin which is usually burnt. Pizza Wizard offers a thick and fluffy gluten free pizza crust that my pizza loving, non-gluten free partner even thought was great! Highly recommend.

When family and friends visit us in Rochester, we typically go to the Owl House because it offers so many dietary options. We have vegans, vegetarians, gluten-free, and meat eaters. No matter who we take, we always leave super satisfied, bellies full of amazing food and drinks. Even though we've visited The Owl House at least 6 or 7 times in the two years since we've moved to the Roc, this is the first time I knew I HAD to leave a review. We've always had great service, but Willow is by far one of, if not THE best server I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I was a server for years, and game recognizes game. She was funny, her timing was perfect, but her suggestions? I typically order steaks, pasta, or seafood dishes. This girl had me ordering pork chops for dinner, and it was the best pork chop I've ever had! Absolutely amazing! She made our evening out with our PA family perfect. I highly recommend checking this place out if you haven't already, the atmosphere, the food, the service, the menu options...it's all there.

Love this place! I’m a vegetarian, and my spouse is vegetarian and has a gluten allergy, and the Red Fern was able to accommodate with no issue whatsoever. We even had our choice of bakery items to choose from, which is practically unheard of. Only downfall is the staircase to enter, so it’s not particularly accessible, but they do have plenty of outdoor seating on the ground level.

My husband and I have been coming here for brunch every weekend for a few years now. The food is always delicious and the staff is incredible! Lots of options for different dietary restrictions (one happy vegetarian/gluten free gal here- and celiac safe!) and we never leave disappointed. His favorite go-to meal is the mad hatter plate and I love the garden scramble and potatoes with the rabbits way hollandaise sauce. Highly recommend it here! No reservations so be prepared for a wait time but it is WORTH IT!

I just cannot say enough good things about this place, it’s one of the best tasting restaurants we have been too. The burrata small plate was amazing, the home cut fries were so good, everything was great. The staff was super friendly, the atmosphere was so cute. We are so glad we picked this restaurant, a definite must try. Also they had a wide variety of gluten free options which was super nice for our son.

I love this place. It's been several years since they opened and the pizza is still as good as it was then. My go to pizza: white sauce, feta, mozzarella, spinach, chicken, artichoke, roasted tomatoes, with a basil herb after bake is so yummy. They even have gluten free pizza. Highly recommend!

Had Salenas delivered for dinner and it was delicious. So fresh and tasty. It was so easy to find food I could eat (gluten free dairy free) and it tastes amazing. I also love being able to order margaritas to go!! 5 stars!

They have a HUGE selection of fresh homemade bagels and flavors of cream cheese!! It was overwhelming trying to choose what to get! For $3.75 I got a toasted French toast bagel with raspberry jalapeño cream cheese. She agreed to put butter on it first and then cream cheese! my fav 😋 The bagel was fresh and slightly cinnamony, and the raspberry jalapeño cream cheese was delightfully sweet with a mild kick of an aftertaste. I didn’t get any menu pictures but oh boy I gotta go back to try the other flavors. Maple bacon?? Pumpkin? Salmon? Yes pls. They also have gluten free bagels and vegan cream cheese and pastries!

Quaint little child-friendly spot offering good drinks and good food. However, if you plan on ordering food, you better have some time on your hands. It is not uncommon, from our experience, for food orders to take upwards to 50-60 minutes. Last time we ordered, it took 48 minutes for us to get two wraps that didnt even require any ingredients to be cooked. No explanation, no apology. The gluten-free wrap was in pieces and required a knife and fork (see image). Once again, everything is always delicious, but the speed of service is occasionally mind-boggling.

Dinner was fantastic. We had a change of dinner plans for a group of 9, and they sat us in 15 minutes. The service was excellent; our waitress took such good care of us, and we got our food quickly. Tapas 177 is such an incredible restaurant in every single way from food to drinks to service to the vibe. This review is about catering!! We worked with Chris Z who is an absolutely phenomenal person. Chris helped us pick out our menu and coordinated everything with us — all the way down to mentioning changes in texture from our usual restaurant experience to general effects of transport/time! Everything was delivered on time and set up perfectly. Even better, it was DELICIOUS and EVERYONE was extremely happy with the options!!! One thing Tapas 177 does exceptionally well is dietary restrictions. They’re very clear about risks with shared fryers but also take great care to label things. The variety on the menu allowed for us to cater gluten free and vegan without settling for things we weren’t interested in. Variety!!! So sorry to my future children but eating a mountain of Tapas 177 spring rolls with my wife on our wedding day is impossible to top. Thank y’all so much!!!!!

Loved this place the first time I went. I went to order a chicken bowl online and I have Celiac Disease, meaning I cannot have anything with gluten, which pita has. Unbeknownst to be, their chicken bowls have pita on them without the menu on their website saying so. Will not be coming back if they can't even list all the items on their menu properly.

I used to have the most amazing experiences here, never had any issues. However I went here for Valentine’s Day and my pasta definitely tasted like regular pasta (if you know, you know). I asked the waitress to check with the cook and since we were sitting right by the kitchen, we saw the chef get mad because they had just closed the kitchen and he didn’t want to make a new meal and said to “just tell her it’s gluten free”. I brought this up to management with no response, so I won’t be returning here sadly.

Great food, generous portion, and really kind owner! I called asking if they had gluten free injera and they were able to make it specially to order. I ordered takeout on a Friday evening (vegetarian combo) and not only was it ready quickly, the owner was incredibly sweet and lovely to talk to. Definitely will be back!

This place has been on my local restaurants to try for awhile now. It did not disappoint. I went with a couple of my girlfriends, one of which is gluten free. This place was perfect because they have several gluten free and also vegan options for anyone looking for those dietary choices. I started off with the duck wings, which were so much larger than I expected, perfectly crunchy with a somewhat sweet sauce (reminded me of country sweet sauce) which really married the flavors. I chose to have the gnocchi with peas, large thick pieces of fresh pancetta, mushrooms, in a light cream sauce with parmigiana shavings. I needed to add some more seasoning and parmigiana, but ultimately it was good considering it was listed as gluten free. This place is worth a try. It is perfect to go with friends, a romantic dinner, or also great for double dates.

Silo Brunch Bar is a fantastic and refreshing brunch spot in Greece - definitely not your grandma’s diner. Silo outshines any other brunch we’ve had in the Rochester area. Plenty of vegetarian options make it a win, and I can personally recommend the Veggie Omelet, Pancakes, and Caprese. My meat-loving daughter-in-law devoured the Silo Reuben and loved every bite. Bonus: If you need gluten-free bread, they’ve got you covered! For a brunch that’s anything but ordinary, Silo is a must-visit. Oh and the hashbrowns! Just bury me now! YUM!

A cute coffee shop with quirky wall art. They have a good variety of food to choose from (we both got the BLT with egg and yogurt parfaits), and when we specified a gluten allergy, they offered to clean the griddle to reduce any cross contamination. It wasn't necessary for our needs, but it was thoughtful of them to offer despite how busy they were. The lattes were delicious, and the staff was very friendly and patient while we placed our order.

In town for a long weekend and found this place. I had a gluten free personal veggie pizza with dairy free cheese, and it was delicious. My husband ordered a burger and fries. The fries were crispy and so good. My kids got meatball subs and an order of cinnamon sticks. They had something for everyone, a great spot to have lunch.

As a part of my Rochester Coffee Crawl, I tried Hydra Coffee. I got the bananas foster latte (iced with almond milk) and it was really good! The merch and the vibes of this place is adorable. I loved the atmosphere and the fact that they had an upstairs area as well. I’m a sucker for cold foam and creative/artsy lattes but this latte was definitely doable! It was all of the requirements of what you need in an authentic latte. When I come back to Rochester I could definitely see myself coming back to get some coffee! Of course, I didn’t leave without grabbing a gluten free strawberry jam bar (which was absolutely excellent) and a sweatshirt! The staff was so kind here as well and gave me great recommendations on what to get and what they like from the menu!

We tried going on a Saturday evening for dinner but the wait time was an hour and 30 minutes for a table inside and outside. They don’t take reservations, so be prepared to wait if you want to go on a Friday or Saturday night! So instead, we went the next day at 11am when they first opened. I’m so glad we did because we got a seat on the balcony overlooking the falls. Service was very friendly and accommodating! I got the veggie burger on a gluten free bun with a side of chips. My group tried the pretzel appetizer and they said it was amazing. The Mac and cheese was also a huge hit for my friends!
