Great place for seafood and Gluten Free dining. We went for dinner and lunch both. The servers were fun and personable but they can be a little slow. It's worth it though. The food was great and there are numerous GF options.

This place is great for the body and spirit. The vegan and gluten free foods are delicious and natural. I had the Fountain of Youth smoothie, a powerful ginger shot, and a lemon raspberry muffin for the road. Just an overall great place!

Early 4:30 PM dinner on 5/2/25. * Note: You can use the public parking lot across the street for $6 an hour vs the valet at the restaurant. I don't want kids driving my vehicle. We have been coming to Virginia Beach off/on for 24 years and dining at Waterman's each trip. 3 years since our last visit. Walk in. No reservation. Seated promptly inside as requested. Our standard order for two orange crushes placed. These crushes had very little actual orange taste and more ice than drink. $9.25 each. We have the drink recipe from Waterman's and make them at home regularly with the original Burnett's orange vodka. These crushes were made with the new Waterman's orange branded vodka. Didn't order any more. My wife's salmon salad and crab cake were very good. My lobster tail and sides were also good. A lot of flies inside the restaurant detracted from the meal. *Note this review was completed without using ridiculous un-discriptive terms like out-of-bounds, OMG, on point, awesome, the bomb, yummy, delish, to die for, do yourself a favor, trust me, flavorful, or kids emojis etc.. Describe the food, service (or lack of) and provide details on the cost/copy of check and include pictures! Is the place clean? No disrespect to the employees, but no one cares about the waiter/waitress/clerk names, or if they look like they fell face first into a tackle box. They get changed like underwear and you don't get to pick one. We don't care about your allergies, vibes, how "chill" you feel, or the need for gluten free food. **If you see a Google review posted with just stars & no text, report it via the 3 dot selection adjacent to the review. We entertain our 'out of town' family every summer, and every year, they request Ynot Italian for a big family dinner. It's a place that never disappoints! Everyone finds a delicious choice for dinner, even our gluten free family members..with no fuss! The staff are very friendly and so efficient. It's a fantastic family restaurant!

The best in Virginia Beach!!! I have celiac disease and it was wonderful to go to a resteraunt with certified gluten free entrees- they have tons of choices!! Gkuten free Waffle was amazing 👏🏻 I also got an omelet, hashbrowns and toady ALL GF.

This has been our family spot for years when we come for family vacation. It’s 9 times out of 10 a great experience. Some good things. They have great gluten free options. Their orange crushes are the best. And the prices are deff reasonable. Some not so good things. Caution if you sit outside when there is live music, you can’t hear each other talk and will have to yell. Some of their dishes lack flavor. Their peel and eat shrimp are almost inedible due to not being deveined and hard to clean out yourself.

Session is an experience! If you, or your friends, are looking for vegan or gluten free options- but there are still some in your group that enjoy a traditional bacon and eggs breakfast- look no further. Session is the best of both worlds- coming together- holding hands and doing its own thing! With this being our second time there; we were just as impressed as we were with our first visit. Having a pet friendly patio allows your lil fur babies to come along for some fun. There "in da club" sandwhich is fresh, delicious, and will have you licking your plate clean. The fritata- a beautiful blend of mushroom, dill, and egg with a bed of fresh greens- was fluffy and packed with flavor. The "your dad's go to" was a mix of 2 eggs however you want them, bacon or sausage, hashbrown or root vegetables hash, with a side of greens served with toast, butter, and jam. Once again, Session delivered and surpassed expectations. Service was a 10/10, food was 10/10, and we will most certainly be back in the future for round #3! My family had a really wonderful experience. We were a large party celebrating a birthday and everything was great. From the food to the service to the atmosphere. We're looking forward to returning for our next special event. Oh and every dish that was ordered was delicious. We had a mixed group of vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, and omnivore and everyone was happy with their meal.

Perfect burgers every time. It can get pretty busy around dinner time on the weekends, but there are usually a couple seats at the bar if you want to skip the wait. The fries are so crispy and nicely seasoned! The Willie Nelson burger is incredible and great perfect portion size. We also enjoy the gluten free build your own burger— decent gf burger bun that doesn’t fall apart and the tater tots are gluten free.

This sandwich shop was the cutest with all of the fresh ready to meal items and then there's the actual sandwiches! VERY fresh, LOTS of fillings in the sandwich and TONS of flavor. Even better with my gluten allergy they had bread options and were careful to note my other for my safety. Definitely coming back!

A very delicious lunch today. The food was great. I like the gluten free options, would love if they can bring in a gluten free bun for the lamb burger. O'doughs has an excellent sandwich bun, taste the most like real bread. It's kept in the freezer (wont spoil) for toasting. Hint! Hint! I appreciate that you offer great food at affordable prices. Visiting VB, and I tried a few places that offered vegan and gluten-free food. This place was by far the best. The gluten-free vegan waffles with berries were amazing. The hint of lavender and coconut whipped cream took it up a notch. I also got a wrap which was also very tasty. And blueberry Lemonade was a little too tart for my liking but it was refreshing. Highly recommend this place.

Lovely dinner seaside, listening to the waves. The meal was perfectly prepared and served. Plenty of gluten free and dairy free options for my wife. Many filling dishes that are lighter on calories. Everything is clearly marked. The vegetables were delicately prepared with just the right balance of spices, garlic, herbs, and salt.

This is a very nice place to pop in and grab a bite. The gluten free pizza was very good and salad was nice and fresh which I really appreciate. Our waiter was kind and helpful and informative. They are slow (30 minute wait for soup and tacos…and it wasn’t very busy), the girl taking orders doesn’t know how to talk to people and made ordering really awkward, and they made a mistake on my food.

We enjoyed our breakfast. Wonderful north beach omellette. Just the right amount of crab and cheese. Ched Dean took care of my wifes allergies to gluten and soy. Its nerve wracking to eat out with allergies but our waitress Lalla did a great job of reassuring us. We did let them know ahead of our stay we were coming. I think thats very helpful for them.

Summary: Nicole was funny and friendly! Food was delicious (and had gluten free sandwich bread) prices were very decent for our large party. Sit by a window if you need extra light to read menu. We came in as a party of 5 of visitors (Army base nearby). Nicole waited on us and she was SUPER friendly and knowledgeable on all the menu items. She was patient and quickly brought our food out despite the lunch rush (which the food was delicious and had good portion sizes by the way). The shakes were amazing and I was pleasantly surprised by the gluten free bread substitute on my Reuben. The atmosphere was cozy, but we went on a day that didn't have a lot of natural light so I recommend if your party needs more light to see the menu, perhaps sit near a window. Otherwise, we had a wonderful time and the high reviews here aren't kidding!

We came on the day the surges hit for Ophelia and this was a hidden gem! Staff was amazing, and allowed our doggie to be with us... we came in for breakfast and then had to have their supper too and everything was great! I appreciated their gluten free and healthy menu! Came here after my find my gluten free app suggested that it was a highly safe place to eat. Just 3 people in my party (2 adults 1 child). My waiter didn’t seem like he was particularly interested in talking to the kitchen about my intolerances (dairy, soy, and gluten). He didn’t write anything down and I had to confirm with him twice that he remembered them. The people at the bar were excessively loud and rowdy. After 45 minutes they informed me they were out of shrimp (the appetizer I ordered). After 70 minutes since being seated the food still hadn’t arrived. After 80 minutes of waiting the appetizer for the other 2 at my table came out. After almost 90 minutes since being sat my salad came out. They got my daughters wrong. The chicken on my salad was ice cold. I guarantee my waiter didn’t tell the staff about my allergies. Overall a really awful experience after being hopeful that I’d get a good, safe meal.

Ordered the gluten free pasta with shrimp and scallops, was given the wrong pasta unknowingly. Began eating the seafood first when a male waiter who is not our server caught the mistake and told our waitress Sabrina that she gave me the wrong pasta. I had already been picking at the food and ate off it and then she came over with my new plate. I figured since I was already eating off this plate they were going to throw it away so I asked her if she could at least let me have some of the seafood I had already started on with my new plate and she could just take the pasta away. I thought it was reasonable request especially considering the significant error and I assumed they were just going to throw it away anyway. But she said she had to bring it back to the kitchen so they can make a new one. It is then I realized they were probably going to give that food to somebody else! After I already ate on the plate, there is no doubt in my mind. The portion has also become much smaller than I rememer. The bathrooms were disgusting, the dining area was very nice I would say five stars but then you walk into the bathroom and it's like a two-star place.

This place is popular and you’ll see why. The staff is friendly and cheerful. The space is inviting. While you wait, merchandise for sale is sprinkled throughout the store. The outdoor seating is some of the best around, especially for kids (lots of safe, off streets space) and for private conversation (tables are well spaced). The location in the back of the shopping area lends to a quieter, low traffic noise space. Very relaxing. They offer several tasty quiches and bakery items, even gluten-free and vegan options from a local vegan sweet shop. My dirty chai was excellent. My companions were happy with their tea and coffee choices. We’ll return.

I am gluten free,while the menu doesn't have it listed the staff accommodated and confirmed choices on menu to make sure it was safe for me to eat. Definitely recommend the tuna bites and oysters (if you like sea food) You can also do bunless for burgers and sandwiches and Salads with edited choices. Appreciate all the help 💜

We tried three different types of shrimp rolls (bang bang, buffalo, and fried) as well as the Lobster roll and lobster cheese sauce. Everything was OUTSTANDING. Our son is allergic to gluten and fish so he was only able to eat the "Red Hot dog". We ordered it plain, no bun. I was floored when they gave me a discount of $0.50 because we didn't take the bun. We always have to make substitutions for his food and often pay extra, never get a discount. The food was so good we orderd more even though we were full! You will NOT be disappointed. Highly recommend.

We had a great experience - 3 near perfect meals. Gluten-free and there were several options to choose from as well as having gluten-free bread. They were a vegetarian options and some really delicious dessert breakfast options like cinnamon pecan waffles with a scoop of cinnamon ice cream. Their happy hour was fabulous with five dollar crushes.

Want a fun, clean, lively atmosphere with great food? Then you need to stop in and relax from a busy day at Tempt Restaurant. The food was amazing AND we were able to get a wonderfully prepared gluten free pizza. We had great service from Karissa and we will definitely request her again.

First, it is in the Tempt Restaurant. It is the best pizza we have ever had. We have had some excellent tasting wood and coal fired pizza, but these topped them all. I had the plain cheese and my wife had the Margherita on their gluten free cauliflower crust. Their Sauce has a bit of a ping to it, but it blends perfectly with the wood fired crust. The cauliflower crust was so good my wife thought it was not the gluten free crust and asked if it was. Because it it wood fired, I would recommend going easy on the toppings so you don't smother the taste of the wood fired crust - 1 or 2 at the most. Will most definitely get pizza here again when down at VA Beach.

I was here for a late dinner, and I was impressed with their food. We had two appetizers, and I had the patty melt. It was delicious! They also have gluten free bread to go with their burgers as an alternative. All four of us were happy with our meals. The server was on point...very accommodating. I am looking forward to visiting again for happy hours daily from 3 to 6.

Absolutely amazing service, Tuesday at 11:30am the place was full but no wait. Gluten free menu. Very customizable menu. Great drink specials (almost half off select drinks of the day). It’s in a strip mall but don’t judge by the cover. Got the crabcakes benni, lighthouse omelette, parm garlic tots, grits and fried biscuit. The crabcakes are phenomenal, tots have changed the game, fried biscuit is a heavenly donut and the grits are a cheesy delight. I will be back.

For the good: Server and manager were nice, friendly, and helpful; music was good until the live band left. For the bad: Took about 30ish minutes to order drinks; ribs and brisket were both sold out, so I ordered the tender steak with some pink, but got majority pink; strawberry milkshake didn't taste the greatest; when the steak was redone, they threw away the asparagus as well, and ran out (I have a gluten allergy, and their sides are limited in that aspect); steak tasted disappointing. Very bad experience, but at least the workers were positive and friendly...
