We were looking for a solution for gluten free food in Bologna. The Vecchio Mercato restaurant met the requirements because it is an AIC certified restaurant. We came at different times for lunch. Let's start by saying that the pasta they offer is all homemade. There are appetizers, first and second courses, both meat and fish and finally also desserts and ice creams, always made by them and NOT packaged. We took some aubergine appetizers (croquettes, parmigiana and rolls) all with excellent flavor and tasty enough to make you want to have more. But let's go slowly. The first ones. The maccheroncini with bacon and the very tasty Bolognese balanzoni gave no hint of a different flavor compared to a dish made with classic flours. Huge portions!!!! Here too, for the flavor (and if there had been some room in the stomach) we would have taken another portion. The seconds. The bacon with a bed of polenta cooked to perfection, balanced in flavor and very tender meat, so much so that it could be cut with a fork and finally the Petroniana cutlet. Well, do you know ceramic trays? Well it was full of meat, here too cooked to perfection and loaded with ham (for those who know it, you know what I'm talking about) we struggled to finish it!! And finally the desserts... I repeat, the difference with those made with wheat flour is absolutely not noticeable! The staff, knowledgeable and kind, made us feel at home, even recommending dishes, which turned out to be excellent advice on pairings! A 10 out of 10 for the Vecchio Mercato!

We received a recommendation today for the best Lasagna Bolognese in Bologna - it was correct. We had a fantastic meal tonight at La Capriata. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and we were offered a dedicated Gluten Free menu which was a nice touch. All four of us really enjoyed our dinner.

The place is aesthetically satisfying, the staff is very courteous and prepared. The dishes we had the opportunity to taste were truly a high-level sensory experience (especially the seafood amatriciana was truly surprising for the intensity of the flavor despite the simplicity of the ingredients) I particularly appreciated the sensitivity towards gluten intolerance and the variety of menu offered. We had lunch in this restaurant for my graduation, the food was delicious, from the pizzas to the first courses and also the desserts, the staff was very kind, and the place was very welcoming. The gluten-free cuisine is reliable and is effectively gluten-free and contamination-free, as unfortunately does not happen in other restaurants. Even though we were a little late due to some problems and with lunch we exceeded the closing time of the restaurant, the staff was still very kind and helpful in understanding the situation, without making us feel it in any way. I highly recommend this restaurant, thanks again!

Finally I also find an AIC certified place in Parma that can satisfy my celiac needs!! I'm just sorry I found out so late. I will be a regular customer from now on! For now I have only tasted the fried gnocco and the pizza, both EXCELLENT! I will return with pleasure.

We were at a birthday lunch and the restaurant was chosen due to the presence of a gluten-free menu. I wasn't thrilled with the fried gnocco, I didn't try the cured meats but I was told that the bacon and coppa weren't bad, but the pickles were good. I skipped the first and took the second but the roast beef was a simple cold cut without praise or infamy while the roast potatoes were a disappointment: dry and not too tasty. Even the dessert didn't satisfy me because the egg flavor was too strong for my taste. I don't think I will go back

If you are looking for guten free pastries, then this is the place. Two chairs only and I do not think they serve coffee. But with these pastries in your bag and coffeeshops just a 5 min walk away, you are set up for an unhealthy gluten free treat. Bravo!

I have known La Grattugia since the days when the place was in Villa Aiola. Excellent dishes, good service and a wide choice for celiacs. Very nice place but with a notable acoustic problem, when it's full you can't talk to your neighbor other than shouting and this, from my point of view, is a big problem... better in the summer outdoors!

We have been using Gluten Free Capricci for over ten years. My daughter is severely allergic to milk proteins and eggs, as well as being celiac, and has never had any problems. Always very attentive and available. Thanks to them my daughter was able to eat things that would otherwise be impossible: cappellacci and tortellini, as well as numerous cakes for the most special events and the fantastic vegan brioches, including pistachio ones, a dream! The owner of Bruscè is very friendly and you feel comfortable there. I have celiac disease and have to eat gluten-free and I received a large selection of gluten-free dishes there. For breakfast we had omelettes, pancakes and a yoghurt fruit bowl with granola, and for lunch we had delicious gnocchi. Highly recommended!

I've been wanting to do this review for a while... The rolling pin of the goose is my guarantee and Fabio our trusted "sfoglino". I am celiac and intolerant to many foods; all my requests have been treated with great professionalism and the result has always been exquisite. From tagliatelle to tortellini...from lasagna to gnocchi...everything perfect! This year we relied on Fabio for my children's birthday cakes and for a small gluten-free buffet for the party... The cakes, a classic one with gluten and a gluten-free jam tart, were appreciated by the guests and not even a slice was left over! Cordiality, friendliness, kindness and great professionalism! An excellent place, I discovered it thanks to the AIC app as I have celiac disease! Everything was delicious: bread, pasta, ravioli, tortelli, focaccia and pizza... delicious!!! There is a very wide variety of gluten-free and non-gluten-free first courses, second courses, side dishes, sauces, wines and beer... even the gluten-free dishes are just as good, according to my husband and son. You also have the option to decide whether to have the products heated up on the spot or at home. Preparing the aluminum tray if you heat in a traditional oven or the plastic (or small aluminum) tray that goes in the microwave! The owner is a very kind, helpful, professional and very nice person as well as being a very good cook! Sincere congratulations! I highly recommend it!!!
