Bread Meat Bread is a fantastic spot for food! I visited with my coeliac friend, and they were incredibly accommodating with our dietary needs. The burger and fries were absolutely on fire – so delicious! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food and a welcoming atmosphere.

Went here yesterday for my sister’s bday. Ordered scrambled egg on toast. It arrived like slop on the plate. Had been done in a microwave and hadn’t been scrambled. Toast was on the side and not buttered with no butter alongside. Completely tasteless. The only thing that saves it is the lovely waitress who was really nice and the gluten free caramel cake which was delicious. Won’t be back though as overpriced and too rustic for my taste.
Enjoy a vibrant atmosphere with quirky decor, generous portions, and a rotating selection of tasty vegan and gluten-free treats.

If you're Gluten Free, go to the other Singl-end in Garnethill. Merchant City say that they're Coeliac friendly and have GF-available on dishes, but when you order those dishes Gluten Free they then say they have to take a lot of ingredients out. Which would be fine, except when we went the chef refused to do the swaps saying it would be too much work.
So despite what my previously excellent experience of Singl-end was (from going to the Garnethill branch), do NOT go to Merchant City if you have Coeliac.

Another amazing hidden gem in Glasgow.
Was up for work and went with a colleague and if you didn't know where it was you could walk past.
So glad she took me here as food was amazing and so much of it
She us gluten intolerant, and they have a whole separate menu for her and so much choice.
I had tge buttermilk chicken in southern fried bread crumbs with salt and pepper fries.
All I can say is food was amazing and great service and atmosphere, even for a Tuesday night.
If you're in Glasgow and want a chilled atmosphere, with amazing food and service, this is for you. And if you like spice try their own hot sauce and it deff is HOT 🔥

I cannot imagine a better dining experience. We traveled from London to Scotland and this was, leagues and away, the best meal of our trip. Everything was fresh, inventive, seasoned perfectly, and the server talked us throughout the evening and was delightful and funny. Both my kids devoured their meals and wanted more, which is a rarity. Our drinks weren’t overly sweet, and our desserts were outstanding. We ordered almost half the menu and would come back and order the entire menu if we could. As someone who often struggles eating gluten-free (allergy), this was a meal I could get over and over and I am so grateful for our dining experience!!
Enjoy a vibrant breakfast spot with a unique separate menu, perfect for a lively start to your day, but expect a bit of noise!

This place was fantastic, got the last table available for breakfast. They have a full gluten free menu which covered just about everything I could want. I ate a mushroom Benedict which was delicious. Staff super helpful and friendly.

Update on an earlier post. This time we dined in the Bath Street entrance version. Saturday lunchtime. Restaurant was very busy yet staff pleasant and helpful, willing to chat and discuss the menu options for a Coeliac member of our party. I was surprised another of the party had a dairy allergy which added to the complications of menu discussion.
Starters arrived, looked and tasted great.
My own main course a Pizza infernale was huge and delicious. Much better than the cardboard box variety from supermarkets. One of the main reasons for going out for a meal. Properly cooked stuff from professionals.
Other members of the party joined in with the delicious notation. Chicken wrapped in ham, summer salad, garlic bread extras shared about the table.
We enjoyed the meal and the chat. The atmosphere was very good too. The only issue as the restaurant was very busy, it was also loud and at time the discussions went unanswered or we missed the point in the story.
With a chill vibe and an amazing array of flavorful dishes, this spot keeps diners coming back for more.

We had our first trip to The Bungo on Friday night and managed to get a table without booking. It’s a friendly spot and we were all impressed by what we had - goat’s cheese salad, pulled beef tacos and chickpea burger - and good portion sizes too. When we got there they asked if we wanted a gluten-free or vegan menu and were attentive throughout. Delicious food cooked to order - will be back to try out the brunch menu!

Really tasty gluten free fish. My son had 2 portions! He is coeliac so we have to be careful . Separate fryer and separate condiments .

So great to find not just gluten free options but a restaurant that follows coeliac procedures. The staff were incredibly helpful polite and friendly - nothing was too much!
I took my two grandchildren (7 and 4) and they had a lovely time.
I personally had the gluten free option Big Breakfast which was amazing, especially the gluten free pancakes and vegetarian sausages.
There are not many places I can go to eat where I can relax and feel confident but now I have discovered Stack & Still I will be back. <3

Highly recommend this beautiful Italian restaurant. We ordered takeaway last night as we noticed they do gluten free Lasagne (extremely hard to find in Glasgow). The food was so fresh and the gf Lasagne was absolutely incredible. I have coeliac disease and the food was prepared safely, came with gf stickers on the packaging and no ill effects. 10/10, thanks for making 1 coeliac extremely happy.

Staff were really nice, we had booked ahead
Live music which I usually hate but the guy had a nice voice and chose songs that added to the atmosphere rather than loud/distracting. Also had a really nice voice.
Our server had a bandana on, didn't catch her name, apologies, but a very attentive girl.
I got the loaded chips (I am so fussy but they were so so nice), the girls got burgers (one gluten free menu) and the other also got macaroni.
All lovely, only thing of note was even though chios are on the gluten free menu they did say they are all cooked together so my friend couldn't have chips as she has high gluten intolerance. She got the salad (choice of two) instead.
Really like the feel/decor theme.
Pet and child friendly, lots of lovely dogs and the kids that were there were really well behaved.
Would absolutely go again 4/5.

Ordered 2 takeaway slices this evening and they were both delicious! Excellent place for coeliacs as the gluten free pizzas are cooked in a separate area/oven to avoid any cross contamination. Staff were super friendly and helpful and the pizza had a great flavour and texture - the white pizza with potato was incredible! And they have ranch! Looking forward to dining in next time as the atmosphere inside was really great too 😃

This is THE SPOT! Friendly, warm, and approachable, with immecably elegant, inventive, and inspiring food. Flavor profiles are incredible, served beautifully. The people LOVE FOOD, creating it, sharing it, and experiencing it. There are selections to meet everyone's preferences as well. In fact, every dish has a code, with all major dietary restrictions next to it; dairy, nuts, gluten, and 11 others, so you know exactly what is in everything. 10/10 this should be on everyone's list 🥰
Known for its fantastic atmosphere and exceptional offerings, this spot leaves a lasting impression with delightful service and a welcoming vibe.

Wandering about the West End and walked down an alley right into this place. Looks run down from the outside but cute, clean, and welcoming on the inside. We enjoyed the coriander and coconut tofu, vermicelli noodle salad, and the ginger caramel chicken. Very helpful staff in picking out gluten free options. They have a grid with different food allergies and their food! Very tasty. Definitely worth a look

Absolutely fantastic brunch spot in East Glasgow!
Dog friendly, which is a big plus these days.
The space isn't massive but they also haven't crammed everything in, so you don't feel claustrophobic. Lovely high ceilings, big windows, and they've kept some original decor from the tenement days.
The service was fantastic and the staff was absolutely lovely. Attentive but not invasive in any way!
The food itself was nothing short of phenomenal. My husband had a sweet potato and harissa soup to start with fresh sourdough - expertly done!
He then had the pastrami sandwich and myself the Turkish shakshuka with gluten free bread. (I opted for the fried potatoes too because I'm only lightly intolerant). The shakshuka was super tasty and a great portion. Personally I prefer my shakshuka a bit more saucy/pureed and less whole roasted veg but that's just a personal preference. I also asked for some garlic yogurt which just topped the lot off perfectly.
The coffee was also really nice, I had an iced double espresso with oat milk and caramel. It shouldn't be difficult to get a nice iced coffee but I often find myself lacking. Not here though, perfectly balanced and you could tell the espresso was perfect as well.
Overall we had a lovely little brunch, a good chat with our server, and some leftovers we're eating as we speak! Can't recommend enough and can't wait to go back and try more of their dishes!

A hidden gem in the centre of Glasgow! Perfect place for a break from the busy city right outside. Staff were all lovely and very helpful. There was also an information leaflet on the table all about the cafe, church and all the work they do in the community. Delicious homemade soup and locally sourced bread. Gluten free options available too which is a bonus! Will definitely be back 😁

We booked the old plane tree for our Easter family meal and requested a table to fit 13 of us. However, on arrival we were seated at 2 separate tables.
The food was good but the service let it down significantly. We had 3 occasions were other tables food was attempted to be given to our party. Then when our food arrived, which was fairly quick after ordering, only 10 of us were given meals, the other 3 had to wait 15-20 minutes for theirs to come, by which time the rest had finished eating. The 3 meals came at staggered intervals too. Not what you go to a restaurant for to be honest.
As stated previously though the food was OK and most enjoyed their orders however one of the last meals which was already 20 minutes late had raw chipolatas on the plate.
Desserts were good, can't fault them.
One last thing, the law states that an individual between the age of 16-17 may have 1 alcoholic drink with their meal when accompanied by an adult, I purchased my son a pint and was approached by a manager for ID, apparently this establishment doesn't permit anyone under 18 to have the 1 drink legal allowance with a meal. Not much of a complaint here as am alert, any establishment can deny anyone alcohol of course, so just a highlight for customers incase they are having any celebration and we're allowing 1 drink to their family members.
On a positive side, my sister requires gluten free and their menu is far superior to any other restaurant we have been to, the options were great.
We would return but their service needs to significantly improve.
Had a double cheers burger with gluten free bun from here today, in the 6 years I have been celiac this was the best GF Burger i have had 10/10 will have again

They were playing a long form lets play of Final Fantasy 7 on the TV screens and the portion of tater tots was vast. Excellent. Easy for my gluten free partner to see what on the menu was suitable for him.

We came here while passing by for some food in the evening and were pretty disappointed.
I have a gluten intolerance, and there were only two mains I could have on the printed menu - but on the website more options are advertised as gluten free via an icon, such as the feijoada.
So it was all a bit confusing and I really wanted the feijoada, but when I asked our server she just referred me to the menu and didn't seem to know anything about it. The lack of knowledge and options is surprising as Brazilian cuisine is generally pretty good for gluten free options.
I had the prato baiano which had small cubed bits of gristly chicken in it, and my partner had a burger that wasn't particularly good.
The atmosphere wasn't great as some band was setting up the whole time we were there, so no music or atmosphere.
We wouldn't come back.
