Note: Only writing this to let the owner know in case they aren't aware of the celiac review apps and the recent change. It's otherwise an excellent place with amazing staff and food, hope that it can get resolved for the celiac community.
Something has gone wrong with their sourcing of gluten free ingredients.
I have celiac and suddenly after incorporating this restaurant into my diet my blood work numbers have exploded upwards. I track my numbers very closely multiple times a year and I've done a lot of elimination and it points pretty heavily towards this place as being the culprit. This also reflects in the reviews for find me gluten free website where people are getting violent reactions in the last year. Hopefully they eventually figure out where the gluten is coming from so that other celiac individuals and I can go back here again as their food is otherwise very tasty. I would recommend them to redo the testing that they once did in 2019 to figure out where the source of the problem is. Thank you
This cozy, local gem boasts creative dishes and a warm vibe, making it a must-visit for a unique dining experience in the neighborhood.

I brought a group of 7 others here last week as we were in town for meetings and one of our members is celiac, I saw the reviews of great food but I'm thinking.. it's all GF how good can it be... AMAZING AMAZING WOW! I was in San Fran for 7 days and hands down the best meal, best service, atmosphere, just hands down AWESOME! We went for happy hour and are immediately obsessed. $6 house margarita, fantastic. $3 street tacos, delicious. They have a community table, beautiful patio, nice music. Menu specifies dairy free, vegetarian option, gluten free, and spicy.
With great ocean beach vibes, this spot offers a variety of yummy options for all, including delicious vegan choices and big sweet potato fries!

Great food! Options for vegans are good. The favorite is the big sweet potatoe fries with the buffalo sauce. The vegan gluten free pizza crust is soooo good.

Delicious and nearly everything is gluten free, too. It was so good that we ate there one night and went back for lunch the next day to try some things we didn’t eat the night before.

A wonderful gem of a place in Little Italy. A family business, with the proprietors giving you a taste of real Italian humor should you give them an opening (try ordering a dry cappuccino, lol). It’s rather small and fills up fast, so plan for waiting if you’re heading there for dinner. Worth it, though. We had the Frutti de Mare Linguini (special), Lobster Ravioli and Funghi & Salsiccia pizza. They have gluten free options. Highly recommend!
The food is delicious, what I can eat. Sadly, they don't offer gluten free bread or pasta. I did order some of their sauce to put on my own gf noodles at home. Quite good!
A go-to spot with cozy vibes, great portions, and fresh coffee, perfect for a casual brunch or a relaxing hangout on the patio.

This place is clean, staff are friendly and the food was tasty! Gluten free bread and vegan options available. I ordered the tofu scramble and added a side of chicken apple sausage ($7) a bit pricey .. but I’d definitely go back to hang out in the outdoor patio area for brunch again.
Love the Stinking rose, the food is always great, the service is top notch, and sitting on a busy San Francisco walkway soaking up the experience while feeding your face with garlic infused gluten is an experience all its own!
Enjoy a lively atmosphere with regular live music, inviting outdoor seating, and a welcoming vibe that makes every visit special.

Really good vibe. Porsche went above and beyond to ensure the allergens were avoided. Though they were busy we did not feel they were irritable or rushing us. The food was fine, but it was everything else that makes this place one you want to visit, especially if you have gluten and soy allergies.
Charming bistro vibe with an incredible burger that packs a unique horseradish kick—definitely worth a visit!

Lovely place, a classic bistro atmosphere, with great food and wine. The Marlowe burger is incredible, and it's gluten free without the bun. Honestly the burger I've ever had. Horseradish gives it a special kick!

I visited this place on a Friday morning when it was somewhat busy. I liked that they offer both indoor and outdoor dining options. The menu is extensive, allowing you to mix and match one to three items from each section. For example, you can choose two pancakes or one eggs benedict, making it easy to try a variety of dishes.
I ordered one eggs benedict, one gingerbread pancake, and a cappuccino. My friend ordered gluten-free English muffins, which was a nice option to have. The food was great—especially the gingerbread pancake, which had exceptional flavors. However, the coffee was burnt and much too hot. The service follows a European style, which meant a more relaxed pace, but at times it felt a bit inattentive.
Overall, the food was good, and the atmosphere was pleasant.
A bit pricey but offers a cozy vibe with light, refreshing drinks and decent food, perfect for a casual dinner after a day out.

This place was great, the staff were attentive and kind. I ordered Seafood Fettuccine and it was amazing. My boyfriend is gluten free and he was catered for too!

Highly recommend the halibut, shrimp, and crab, out of this world. One of the nicest restaurants I've ever been to. Beautiful views, right on the water. Complimentary valet service was excellent. Wait staff were kind and knowledgable; my fiancé can't have gluten or dairy and they expertly and carefully accomodated us. Will come again.

Great selection of seafood. Allergy information is readily available including clearly marked gluten free choices on the main menu. Excellent location with a fantastic view of the Golden Gate Bridge. Solid alcoholic drink menu. Prices are reasonable for being not only in San Francisco but located on Pier 39. I've been here twice, and if you decide to get a cocktail I would recommend spending the extra $3-4 to upsize it. You'll get more value that way!

Highly recommend for people with dietary restrictions. I had a gluten and dairy free pizza and it was great! It's also nice that they're open later than many places in the city.

Found this place from a search for gluten free pasta. Wow, what an amazing meal. My husband was impressed and he grew up on homemade Italian food. We have never found a restaurant that could rival his Mom’s cooking, but we Roma Antica is it! The special Risotto and Short Ribs was perfect and gluten free to boot. I enjoyed every bite of my Gnocchi with Sorrentina sauce (creamy tomato with cheese). Even the roasted Brussels sprouts were delish. Not to mention the mini rice balls, just like Nonna’s. We were stuffed and took the crime brûlée cheesecake to go. The staff was so friendly and chattering in Italian. It reminded us of the cafés in Europe. We can’t wait to return.
Sip on spicy Margs during a cracking lunchtime happy hour, then revisit for the lively atmosphere and top-notch service.

Cute small place, recommend checking for reservations first. There were 2 of us and we sat at the bar, it was still great. Great food and service. If gluten free, don’t have nacho chips even though they are corn, fried in oil used for gluten options. Highly recommend chicken tacos!

Had the most wonderful experience. Luis was our server and he was so engaging and helpful. They took allergies/celiac very seriously. The service was impeccable - water was always refilled, new dinnerware between courses, plating of food. But most importantly every dish was a total delight to the mouth. While every dish was incredible, my absolute favourites were the Nikkei (tuna ceviche) and the limeña (upscale potato salad - I’m not doing it justice with my explanation). Truly a delight and would absolutely come back next time I’m in town! Thanks La Mar!

We couldn't find a better place to eat in the Italian neighborhood!! 😍😍
We sat on the terrace, which was already quite charming. Upon entering I was surprised by the small size of the place and all the decoration themed in Italy, where shelves with Italian brand food could not be missing. To my surprise I found a GLUTEN FREE pasta.
They gave us a 10 service, the lady who served me explained that they could make me GLUTEN-FREE pasta, in addition to the sauces I could choose. I have celiac disease, so I asked about cross contamination and they told me that they took it into account. I ordered spaghetti with pesto sauce (It cost me $24, it was expensive but it was very good). Incredible!! My friends ordered pasta with different sauces, all delicious
Very helpful with my wheat allergy. Made sure to tell me what was gluten free and adjusted my order to be sure there wasn’t contamination (not a gluten free kitchen though, of course).
An amazing spot for celebrations with top-notch cocktails and a welcoming vibe that makes every gathering feel special.

I took my staff to Lolo for our annual holiday party. I could not have been more pleased. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly. Every staff member that we encountered was lovely, welcoming and super professional. And the cocktails are out of this world. AND the food was amazing. I have one employee who can't have gluten and one employee from Mexico and everyone was thrilled with the food. Thank you for a spectacular evening.

The venue is great and the service was absolutely incredible. The food looked and tasted awesome.
I ordered the gluten free pancakes.
Unfortunately, I became very ill afterwards as if I had eaten gluten.
This restaurant is not a dedicated gluten free facility so the risk of cross contamination is on me but it has been a very long time since I have experienced it in a restaurant.
I would have loved to have gone back but unfortunately this is not a celiac safe restaurant.
A must-visit for its buzzing atmosphere and stunning food presentation—this spot promises a delightful brunch experience with noteworthy portions!

The BEST breakfast/brunch I have ever had ever! Everything was delicious. The service was incredible. Everyone was so nice. Can’t wait to go back and try more menu items next time. This time we had a Benedict with chicken mango sausage and an omelette that was to die for! And the flight of bacon!!! Soooo good!! The coffee was good! My partner is gluten free and even the gluten free bread was fantastic! Everything! Yum!
