A cute spot with good vibes, offering a mix of healthy fast-casual options but often forgetting key ingredients and feeling a bit overpriced.

Okay. I do love caffetteria or at least the idea of it, so I’ll still give them a 4, but this has happened too many times not to share. Every single time I’ve gone here they forget something on whatever dish I’ve ordered. When you charge what they charge, you just can’t forget key ingredients (or any ingredients).
Cobb salad is a $17 salad - it’s marked at $16 but usually not enough dressing so I paid an extra dollar for a tiny little container of extra dressing. They forgot the avocado, arguably a key ingredient. They’ve forgotten bacon in the past. They’ve forgotten egg in the past. They’ve forgotten something on nearly every menu item I’ve tried.
Overpriced. Food is good, not great. Nothing too remarkable for the price point. It’s a cute place, though. Vibes are good. I like the idea of it. There aren’t too many places that are healthy fast casual in the area so it’s nice to have the option, but it’s annoying to have to check every time to see if they remembered the key ingredients.
Green goddess dips and chips - fab.
Hummus - no pita bread available.
Variety of sandwiches - good but nothing special.
Variety of plates - great idea, comes out a little lackluster.
Pb&j toast - ugh it is delicious but ordered this for a toddler, and I had to scoop off a layer bc there were full peanuts layered on the top of it and it was served on a very seed-filled bread - both of which most young toddlers can’t quite handle yet. My bad for not asking for a full description of it.
Breakfast items - pretty good.
Pizzas - delicious.
Bakery - great.
Coffee - pretty amateur. Not great at making lattes or specialized drinks from their menu. And why is a not so great mocha $8?
It’s fine. It’s cute. They forget important ingredients often and charge a lot for pretty standard food. If you need something after you’ve ordered, good luck finding someone to help you. Oh a positive here - if you order a salad chopped it is very perfectly chopped. And decent effort and options for gluten free. I’m sure I’ll be back, and you should go too. Like I said, the vibes are good, the branding is cute, but lots of simple sloppy mistakes made at a price that’s a little too high for what it is.
Rooftop terrace vibes elevate the experience here, especially with live jazz adding a unique touch to the chill atmosphere.

Gorgeous decor with friendly waitstaff and delicious Thai fare. We had a table on the rooftop terrace, which felt nice on a cooler summer night. It was also less noisy and felt more conducive to conversation than the dining room downstairs. Recommend the rooftop if you’re on a date, or with a smaller party. The gluten free offerings were great- basically a variety off the regular menu made without soy sauce. I had the drunken noodles, and it was fresh and flavorful. My date had the pad Thai, and I loved the level of spice for the medium dish (my idea of mild). Will definitely return to try more on the menu!

Enjoyed our visit, food was good, I had the biscuits and gravy or the "Notorious BNG", and thought it was delicious. The main thing we enjoyed was the gluten free menu with tons of options.for our gluten free teenager. Made ordering so much easier with so many options and she thought the gluten free pancakes were delicious

Listen, they do the best impossible burgers ever and their ranch is amazing. But maybe don't try something new...
The deviled eggs: don't make me laugh, might as well have eaten plaster it was so boring. And why 3 halves? Weird.
The drinks: "is this vodka kombucha?" is the exact phrase my bestie used for her vodka cranberry. It was awful. My espresso martini was chunky and sour (yes I know cold brew if not made right can be sour). Considering we already had to order different drinks than our original orders we just drank them.
General food is amazing here, love their gluten free options. They just need to work on the small things that make a meal.

I was incredibly shocked at how accommodating and delicious this place was! We stopped in for a late lunch and were pleasantly surprised to learn that they had amazing gluten free options, cook in beef tallow, got their beef from the Flint Hills AND had vegan cheese!! I couldn’t believe I was able to indulge in everything and it was absolutely delicious. The owner and the staff were so friendly. I cannot brag on them enough! I did not expect to find such a gem just searching for a quick bite.

North Italia is a fantastic spot for gluten-free diners! Their gluten-free menu is top-notch, and I love how they don’t compromise on flavor or quality. From the gluten-free pasta to their delicious pizzas, every dish is made with care and tastes amazing. It’s so refreshing to find a place that offers such a wide variety of gluten-free options without sacrificing the authentic Italian flavors. This was such a great choice for brunch, our server was great she was so friendly and helped us make great decisions for breakfast. She even brought us some of their signature monkey bread, which was great with coffee as we waited for the meal. We ended up ordering the Home run, which is the Triple D (half order corn beef hash, half order eggs Benedict, half order banana bread) along with half order side of biscuits and gravy to knock it out of the park. Great choice, and the two of us split it for a delicious meal. Corned beef hash came with a delicious green chili, the hollandaise on the Benedict was creamy, the biscuit was both crispy on the outside and moist and tender in the middle with a fantastic gravy, and the banana bread is gluten free! I highly recommend Doo-Dah's dinner.

Love this place ! Great service and amazing food

First, they have a pretty solid gluten free crust that even the nonGF people in my family enjoy.
Second, their service is fast! In a Sunday night our to go order was ready in 10 minutes when they had almost a full restaurant.
Third, they have a rewards program. Who doesn’t love free food? Not me, love me some free food.
Only downside, the GF crust doesn’t absorb grease real well. Had some pizza grease all over my hands while eating, but that’s part of the experience I guess.

Looking on google for a good gluten-free burger due to my allergy. Never been here. Looked online and was able to come up with what my husband and I wanted. Called to order takeout because it was 32 mins before they closed - they took the order and were very friendly. Ate it in the car and wow. The small fry is enough for two people and maybe a skillet for breakfast 😂 The burger was probably the best one I have had. Will be back! Awesome that the gluten-free bread wasn't crumbly or dry! Customized our burgers pretty good and was still cheaper than a lot of places but best quality. I don't feel sick or anything with my allergy. Oh and don't be deceived even though the burger is well priced it will fill you up - 1/4 lb. The pickles mmm.

In house the fries are $17 however on the website or google it lists them at 5 and 4 dollars respectively, that's a WILD rip off. I ordered the salmon in person and was told it was not gluten free as they put noodles on the dish (i wanted salmon why not offer just the salmon :(() however the website says they are arrow root noodles. which unless they just changed it and didn't update it on the website or lied to me should be gluten free as they are made of arrow root starch. the server was however really nice, I assume they probably just didn't update it especially with the all the discrepancies between the online and in person menu's including listed ingredients. all of the portions were small especially for the price (bf got fries and the brisket tacos, the fries pictured on there website seem to be a larger portion than what we were given) the korean fried chicken was the only one worth the price as they absolutely piled my bowl up with chicken lol

Our family is so happy with this place. Two of us have celiac disease, which makes it difficult to find safe lunch stops while traveling. They were very knowledgeable about their gluten free options, they have a dedicated GF fryer, and the food was delicious and plentiful. And great prices, too! We'll be stopping here on our way back home for sure.

I absolutely love t. Loft and it is my go-to restaurant! Being gluten free and health conscious, this place is a god-send. I’ve tried multiple bowls, salads, teas and lattes and it is delicious every time. Staff is incredibly friendly and the restaurant is always clean :) I don’t mind waiting a while since they cook the warm meals fresh to order. Shana Cakes gluten free desserts bring me a lot of joy (especially the Valentine’s Day goodies); it’s hard to find such reliable dedicated gluten free space in Lawrence and this is hands down the best one!

We got there just ahead of the rush on a Friday evening. We had dumplings, pan fried, and the salmon special, along with the cheesecake wonton dessert. This was my first meal eating out since following the AIP Modified Elimination diet- I was ready to reintroduce soy/ edamame. Even with the little bit of gluten and dairy I seem to be 100% okay with this reintroduction! So grateful because our meal there was a little taste of heaven!!! Cannot wait to go back.

We always have a great experience here. Hostess Brooke is always friendly and greets us with a warm welcome. Our waiter Eli was very attentive and prompt. My boys can be a bit demanding with the number of drink refills but he stayed on top of it. The food was good we had apps and a variety for dinner. They also have gluten free options. Thank you for always giving us a good meal!

They have tons of gluten free/vegan/vegetarian options. Everything on the menu is marked, which made ordering a breeze for my dairy free son and my gluten free self. My husband is not gluten and he even said the gluten free pita was delicious. We definitely plan on dining in again.

Stopped in yesterday morning to get some work done. I enjoyed some drip coffee. Great service and atmosphere. As someone who can't have gluten, I was delighted to see all of their bakery items are gluten-free. I purchased some cherry almond butter bites and peanut butter bites to-go, which were devoured by me and my co-workers. Can't wait to come back here.

What a cool place, new location right off the train tracks. Love their fried chicken, so light, crispy, and even gluten free! They have a full gluten free menu from appetizers to full fried chicken dinners. Everything was piping hot, fresh and delicious! I highly recommend this place. The owner Todd even stopped to chat with us! Everyone is so friendly! This place is also great for kids and they have Nintendo gaming stations at many of the tables. This would make a great place for a family get together!
