Great separate gluten-free menu with pizza and pasta. Many other dishes are also available gluten-free. Gluten-free focaccia is available as an appetizer. Great and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Step into this cozy haven of culinary magic and you’ll swear you’ve just wandered into an Italian grandmother’s kitchen—if Nonna was a gluten-free wizard with a heart of gold and a rolling pin blessed by the food gods.
From the moment you walk in, the aroma wraps around you like a warm hug—garlic, fresh herbs, slow-simmered tomatoes, and just a hint of wood-fired perfection. The ambiance is intimate and soulful, with mismatched vintage plates, lace curtains, and the kind of charm that can’t be manufactured—only inherited.
Now, the food. This place doesn’t just “do” gluten-free. It elevates it.
The pizza crust? Crisp on the outside, chewy on the inside, and kissed by fire in all the right places. You’d never guess it’s gluten-free.
The pasta? Silky ribbons of joy that hold onto sauce like they were made for each other in a past life. Whether you order the rich, velvety carbonara or the slow-braised Bolognese, every bite feels like a love letter to your taste buds.
And let’s talk service—attentive, warm, and knowledgeable. You’re not just a customer here; you’re family. They remember your name, your favorite dish, and even ask how your week has been. It’s like a little slice of Italy that just happens to be celiac-friendly and deeply soul-satisfying.
Final word? If you thought gluten-free Italian food couldn’t be authentic, heartwarming, and out-of-this-world delicious, this place will prove you delightfully wrong. This isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a revelation. Mangia bene, live better.
A charming cafe by Sanur beach with stunning views, offering tantalizing cakes, a diverse menu, and a perfect spot to relax post-jog.

Coeliacs avoid at all costs!!!
I was made violently ill after eating here and being told that all the food I had was gluten free. I have had coeliac disease for almost 30 years and have the exact same reaction every time I eat gluten, and had this after eating at this cafe.
I have now seen at least 3 other coeliacs leave the exact same review and the owner reply saying that the food was indeed gluten free and perhaps the guest had another allergy and reacted because of that and to get checked by a doctor. That is not the case and is just plain gaslighting and denial on the café's behalf. Clearly the restaurant does either not understand what it means to be gluten free or their communication both verbally and on the menu is incorrect and misguided.
The staff were kind and the café was nice but it is unacceptable and dangerous to label something gluten free when it clearly is not. I hope the café looks into their gluten free food making process and improves on this in the future, but in the meantime, please avoid eating here if you have coeliac disease.
A small gem in Ubud with an amazing rooftop view, serving up authentic Napoli-style pizza in a cozy, heartwarming atmosphere.

I received a very friendly welcome and when I asked I was told that the gluten-free pizza was baked in a separate oven.
There was a lot of cheese and tomato sauce on it, deliciously seasoned with fresh basil. The size of the pizza was enough for a good lunch.
The base was probably purchased (similar to Schär), so I was reassured that it was actually gluten-free dough. I didn't have any problems afterwards and was able to explore Ubud with a good feeling.
I would eat here again and can recommend the restaurant for gluten-free pizzas.
A charming beachfront spot with a vibrant atmosphere, bamboo decor, and a diverse menu perfect for relaxing after water sports.

I was really excited to go to this cafe as it has been highly recommended but after showing one of the servers my gluten free celiac dining card in Indonesian they said that they don't have separate pans and prepare it all on a flat top grill so it isn't safe for people with celiac disease. I was so sad.

A fantastic restaurant! Could not recommend this enough. The staff are all so lovely and welcoming. The ambience is great, and the food is incredible 😍 They bring complementary bread to start which is delicious. They have lots of vegetarian and gluten free options. The menu is big and varied, with so many fantastic options it’s hard to know what to choose. We had ricotta and spinach ravioli with pomodoro sauce, and fish. We tried the honey nut gelato and it was excellent. It was good value for money, we really enjoyed our meal here.
With stunning bay views and cozy garden seating, this spot is perfect for sunsets and offers a fun atmosphere with games to enjoy.

Great view staff are friendly. A lot of gluten free options if you are gluten intolerant like myself. The gluten free chocolate cake is out of this world. No joke. It’s that good. Other food I tried here was great as well.

We stayed in a nearby villa and ordered from Bella Pizza multiple times during our stay. The food was fantastic, every time. They had gluten free options and a good range of toppings. Easy to order on GoJek/Grab for speedy delivery too. Well packaged for transport, with no issues rain or shine.
Known for its cozy ambiance and delicious homemade offerings, this spot is loved for its attentive service and charming Italian vibe.

I’ve been to La Baracca branches around Bali and always recommend them to friends. Food is consistently great. I love that they can give you gluten free pizza and pasta - for a small additional price. Staff at this branch were friendly and attentive. Make a reservation in advance!

When we got here there was a power cut so the place was hard to find behind some construction work. However, it was a signposted and cozy dark place we were led into. The power went on and all the guests were happy, there was a small collective feeling that spread among guests and staff and an even cozier restaurant appeared with nice lighting and plants all around. The drinks were good and so were the pizzas. The whiskey felt closer to 2 cl than the 5 presented in the menu and the pizza, which still belongs in Italy, was incredibly good here. The calzone had a little poor filling and the olive oil on the table is appreciated but was rather tasteless. The gluten-free pizza bread was well-made own dough and with a thin base.
Experience a rustic, tranquil vibe perfect for chilling or working, with standout dishes and great takeaway options in a cozy corner of Ubud.

June 2024 (but see below for update) Our favourite local. Always welcoming. Super consistent. I’ve been going for years… breakfast, coffee, lunch, dinner. With friends or alone or for a romantic dinner.
May 2025 update: came for their great gluten free pizza and a decent glass of wine. No gluten free pizza and no more BYO. Only Plaga wine available which I’m not going to drink. So disappointing. We used to come here once a week for years. Nowwe will have to go elsewhere. It seems odd to have a cafe that’s open for dinner doing this.

They were accommodating with my son being a ceoliac. He ate the roasted duck, large king prawns, BBQ corn Ribs and french fries.
Not all the menus had the GF listed next to the dishes so had to ask staff to advise on dishes.
