Very very good gluten free options. Coeliac and allergy aware, Cross-Contamination taken very seriously. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The only reason I can't give 5 stars for atmosphere, is that the chairs outside are metal bars and after sitting on them for awhile become quite painful, and when full can be quite loud. Otherwise very lovely evening out. And parking is super accessible, with the library car park right nextdoor.
Enjoy a vibrant atmosphere with generous portions and a fantastic fusion of flavors, perfect for sharing with friends!

This was a good find. The taste of every dish was on point! We polished off our plates that it didn't quite need washing! We all absolutely loved the croffle with fried chicken. Chicken was very well done. Croffle could be a bit thicker but it was fine. The beef brisket gave me the perfect kick with the spicy in the sauce dazzled on the brisket and potatoes. And the highlight I must say is the lime tart. It is no ordinary tart. Every bite we took in we tried to figure out what it was holding the lemon curd. It was light yet textured and had that peculiar taste. After many guesses we asked the waitress what it was. It was meringue like tart mixed with coconut shreds and the kafir/lime leaves! It was magical. We loved it. Perfect with my long black. Would go back just for this line tart! The gluten free chocolate brownie was unexpectedly delicious too! I don't have anything negative to say about the food.

Magnificent!! The service was inviting, the restaurant felt like a slice of the Mediterranean. The food had all the gluten free, vegetarian, vegan options.
I sat down to char grilled octopus that ignited my taste buds, a crisp Greek salad, finished with a GF mousse cheesecake and espresso Martini.
A must visit! I will return!

We had a great night here, service was very good and accommodating to my dietary, gluten free, needs. Service was quick and we did not have to wait long for our meal or drinks. Good wine list and the food was delicious, watch out for the veg curry, it is rather spicy (for us), but I would order again as it was beautifully balanced and flavourful. This means mouth on fire but unable to stop, the side of coconut milk was needed and added to the taste. Over all a very good dining experience.
A vibrant venue with a lively atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a unique dining experience despite the occasional noise and higher prices.

Food was nice but it can be quite loud to the point that you can't hear someone on the other side of the table. But the atmosphere is good.
Great that they cater for gluten free and coeliacs, and have a seperate menu which highlights what is appropriate.
Do not order BOTH of the papaya salad and the scallops. The dishes taste exactly the same.
The larb is unpleasantly spicy, even if you like spice, but the flavour is great!
Expensive for the quality but it looks great and the whole building is lovely.
A hidden gem with a vibrant atmosphere, offering a fun variety of delicious dishes and a good drink selection, perfect for a memorable night out.

We had the most amazing long table dinner in the private function room. The food was excellent, service was outstanding and it was an absolute pleasure to arrange from start to finish. Thank you for making our special day so great! What a great team at Rusty Fig. Highly recommend putting Rusty Fig on your to-do list whilst in the city, better yet, plan your function here and you wont be disappointed. Should also mention that our coeliacs were well catered for, really enjoyed their alternative options and they didn’t get ‘glutened’ which can often happen when eating out. These guys respect dietary requirements well!
Enjoy a fantastic brunch experience with stunning views, exceptional service, and a menu that impresses everyone in the group.

We recently discovered this little gem by chance. Some close friends held their wedding there, and to say we were impressed is an understatement.
For a start it's a cool place, from the casual high tables, to the restaurant which feels comfortable and intimate. The walls are lined with bottles of Spanish wine which almost drag you over to read their labels, and entice you to order them. Being a fan of industrial style, I loved the open ceiling so make sure you take a look up, as the bare joists hold another whole chapter of wine bottles (empty) that have been part of many great meals held there no doubt.
Now to the food. I am am coeliac and did panic a bit that I hadn't informed the brides of my dietary requirements. Well there was no need to worry, as Graham the owner conjured up no end of gluten free delights for me, that even my partner was jealous of (and those coeliacs amongst us can back me up on the fact that no one is EVER jealous of the GF option)......well, till now.
Course after course was delicious, and carefully thought out. It's good, no sorry.....GREAT Spanish fare. Incredibly tasty, restaurant quality but with that great sense of humbleness that Spanish food has. We rolled out of the place (also might have had something to do with those amazing wines), and didn't stop talking about how much we loved it after. So much so, we are heading back tonight for dinner.
Please do yourself a favour and check this place out, it's well worth it.
Vibrant atmosphere with a buzzing crowd, diverse menu options, and a great selection of wines and cocktails. Perfect for a fun night out!

We went to Hearth Restaurant for a family dinner and opted for the 5 course dinner. We were warmly welcomed by the staff.
As a starter we were served warm bread with a delicious butter - even my gluten-free roll was yummy.
The duck - the beef - the marron - the camembert ice cream sandwich were the winning dishes. I was very happy with the gluten-free options. Big thank you to the chef and his crew for this fantastic meal.
Staff were very attentive. Good explanation of what was in all the dishes; water glasses didn't stay empty.
Thank you to Florian and his team for their professional service and for making our dinner very enjoyable.
Fantastic food - good wine selection - great staff - good atmosphere. We will be back.
With a fantastic location and a new Executive Chef, this spot impresses with incredible dishes and stunning presentation that keep everyone coming back.

Booked in for New Years Eve. No table service but that was okay. On ordering food, our Gluten free companion, who was told they could cater for, yet they couldn’t. Ended up with a bruschetta, which was apparently yummy. The rest of us ordered entrees and mains. The food came out in dribs and drabs and two meals didn’t come out at all over the two hours we were there. The food that did come out was not good. None of us ate together. I understand they had an issue with staff, but in hindsight, they would have been better to close their doors.

Walking into The Moon feels like stepping through a portal—one moment, you’re in the heart of Northbridge’s buzzing nightlife, the next, you’re wrapped in the warm embrace of a cozy, charming little restaurant with a vibe so inviting it practically gives you a hug. The decor? Quaint, warm, and absolutely spot-on.
Now, let’s talk service. Too many places get this wrong, but not here. From the moment you step in, you’re greeted like an old friend, and if you’re lucky enough to have Gabby looking after you, you’re in for a real treat. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely a pleasure—she sets the standard every restaurant should aspire to.
The food? Bloody. Brilliant. It’s home-style cooking, but don’t mistake that for anything less than stellar. And the speed? Lightning-fast—almost suspiciously so—but every dish still tastes like it’s been made with time, care, and love. The pastas? Absolute knockout. The spaghetti carbonara and creamy pesto are rich, indulgent, and so damn good that even with the most ravenous appetite, you’ll struggle to clear the plate.
And for those who don’t fancy pasta? No worries. There’s something for everyone—pizzas, parmis, and a solid selection of vegetarian and gluten-free options, all executed with the same level of passion and precision.
Drinks? Next level. The fairy bread cocktail? Pure nostalgia in a glass, and the fact that it comes with an actual slice of fairy bread? Genius. It’s a little touch, but it tells you everything you need to know—this place cares about the details.
What really seals the deal for me is how well they look after me and my friends. Rolling up here with my biker crew, we’re always welcomed with open arms. No judgment, no attitude—just love, good food, and cold drinks. It doesn’t matter if we’re fresh off a ride or just looking for a solid meal after a night out, The Moon treats us like family every single time.
So, between the soul-warming food, the spot-on service, and the unbeatable atmosphere, The Moon delivers in every single way. Five stars. And let’s be honest, I don’t give those out lightly.
Attentive and knowledgeable service complements a unique set menu experience with excellent wine pairings for a delightful evening.

Thx for reply . It wasn’t booked under my name . Please don’t just write off bad reviews by saying it wasn’t your bar. In these times , customers definitely well aware of what they are posting and where . Let me know the email address where I can reach you or Heritage management . Thanks.
This is one place where I would never ever go again. It was my mistake to go there for a work Xmas function. The waiter was arrogant and disrespectful. I was not only shown an attitude for asking for a drink other than beer being a Celiac but also mocked at by passing a comment for making a gluten free choice separate from others. He did not stop at that - when asked for a kind of fish they were serving - he looked at me as if I did not know what fish meant and in return asked me questions about famous WA fish and so on. I was humiliated for being a person with an autoimmune disease but also looked down upon just based on color of my skin. Shame on the staff and owner of this bar. Disappointing, Racist, Arrogant and Shameful are the words for this place.
Had the Gluten free tasting menu (feed me) for my partner and I (Coeliac) and the food was exceptional - fully recommend. Went on a Wednesday night which was understandably quiet.
Experience a delightful high tea with smooth service and excellent sparkling wine, though more tea options would be a nice touch.

The staff was friendly, service was smooth and the food was good. They catered for gluten free vegan very nicely. Excellent sparking wine was served. I like milky tea so it would have been a nice addition to be offered a pot of milk (alternative milk) for the tea, or to have a couple or few teas to pick from. But perhaps that is not how high tea is done. Thank you for a lovely time and I recommend this high tea.

Had an excellent dinner here recently. The food was inventive and delicious and the service was friendly and attentive. I can't wait to go back and try more dishes. The beef tartare, vegetable noodles and duck curry were stand outs for us. I went with my friend who is has coeliac disease and she was very pleased at the amount of coeliac friendly options.
We had breakfast and dinner here in the space of 4 days. Both times were excellent. Super cool vibe both times. The evening saw the restaurant fully booked out and for worthy cause as the food was delicious. We had a vegetarian in our group of four and myself gluten intolerant. They had a great selection for both of us. Particularly the vegetarians, as there is a seperate menu that is not advertised on the website.
You won’t go amiss to try this place for a special date night it for a friends get together!
First time visit at this restaurant for a Saturday night dinner. Wow! Food was faultless and is great if you are vegetarian or coeliac as the majority of the menu is suitable which pleased my wife! Drinks menu was generous and the atmosphere was intimate and cosy perfect on a miserable rainy evening. I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant, we will be back again soon!

We hired the top floor for a surprise 60th birthday and from the get go Jess B was absolutely amazing every step of the way. She helped me coordinate everything and on the night she was there making sure everything ran smoothly. Every staff member we encountered was so polite and genuinely happy to be working the function. The food choices were plentiful and the comments from guests were that they were so impressed with how many gluten free options there were. One guest is a head chef at a top restaurant and absolutely sung the praises of the garlic prawns on sweet potato. Everything was just so amazing and I can't thank Jess and the staff enough for making it such a memorable night!

Between the three of us we had one vegan and one coeliac. The food was excellent, the vegan roasted cauliflower was superb and one of the best restaurant meals I’ve had in Perth. Gold stars to the chef for a much appreciated effort. There were about 20 people dining, with two waitstaff who were pleasant and professional but the service was slow for both drinks and food. Eventually we had to cancel our dessert order. The menu is well rounded. The arancini were delicious, beef cheeks meltingly tender and the black Angus fillet beautifully done. Unusually, one of our party was unable to take the remains of his meal home, no containers could be provided. Parking onsite was very reasonable at $8.
We’ll be back.

We went here for family lunch and while we had a nice time overall, there were three main issues that made this 3 stars.
Firstly, some of the food was pretty average depending on what was ordered. In particular the Pollo Parmigiana & the Linguine alla Vongole were both very bland. They didn’t seem to have been seasoned at all. In my brothers words ‘it’s not often someone can make a parmi flavourless’. On the flip side though, my husband said his Ragu was one of the best he’s ever had.
Second issue was the noise. The restaurant looks nice but it’s a lot of hard surfaces for sound to bounce off. Even after it emptied out a bit it was still really loud.
Third issue we had, and probably the biggest problem for us was that they charged an extra $7 for gluten free pasta. My mums a coeliac so we’re very familiar with the extra costs associated with having to order gluten free, but this is by far the most absurdly expensive rate we have ever been charged. It appeared to be regular store bought gluten free penne. There is absolutely no reason they should charge this much. For this reason alone we probably wouldn’t come back.
I’ll end on a good note though, because it definitely wasn’t all bad. The decor was really nice, other than the noise the atmosphere was great and the service was absolutely outstanding.
