Delicious vegetarian menu including several signature concoctions and several dishes which are also gluten free, or vegan or vegan option. Every food dish is healthy here. At least everything here is served with healthy intent. I only say this because they do serve beer and wine also.
Charming spot with 20 cider options and a cozy vibe, perfect for relaxing with friends over unique plant-based dishes and great music.

Really nice place to relax with a few drinks. Didn't have any food as we had just come from a café but we did get a flight and oh my god. I need to go back to get more if that blueberry basil. Until I do it will stay in my dreams, Highly recommend checking it out. They had indoor outdoor seating.
Their menu had things marked as Gluten Free although since we didn't order im not sure if they have a designated fryer or not.
Thankyou for the wonderful service staff, you were all so nice 😊
This cozy spot offers a fresh and clean take on healthy bowls, perfect for a quick and fulfilling meal, though be prepared for slow internet and no restrooms.

This place was great! As someone with celiac disease, it was so nice to know everything was 100% gluten free, and my non celiac fiance loved the bowl he got too.
I had the regular size porchetta with honey mustard, rice pilaf and garden salad and it was delicious and the perfect portion. Will 100% go back next time I am in the city!
But do note, there is no bathroom so make sure to not wait until you get to the restaurant like I did, assuming there would be one lol.
With a vibrant atmosphere and a nostalgic vibe, this spot offers an extensive menu and a refreshing shift from the typical dining experience.

Great Canadian restaurant. Fabulous and friendly service. Absolutely wonderful waiter. Great meal served with great courtesy, no better place. Gluten friendly too.
Quirky decor and a charming vibe make for a unique experience, though be ready for a bit of a wait for service and tricky parking.

Got a sandwich here for lunch. Food was great, decor and atmosphere are nice if a bit quirky. They offer gluten-free bread for sandwiches which I enjoyed!
Both times I visited there was no one at the counter when I arrived which was a bit awkward. The second time I waited for a while and then ended up leaving because no one arrived.
A must-visit for an amazing breakfast experience that impresses even with dietary restrictions—definitely worth a trip!

Three of us waited about an hour in the cold to get inside. I love the vibe inside, I got a good but not outstanding gluten-free meal, service was good but I’m jot sure the whole experience is worth the hour wait outside
This spot boasts contemporary Canadian cuisine and farm-to-table dining, plus a MICHELIN nod, making it a local favorite for good reason.

Checked with the host before seating that they’d be able to accommodate gluten free at brunch. Discovered later that they had no gluten free bread and all potato is cooked in a gluten contaminated fryer. Disappointing that they couldn’t accommodate, had to eat elsewhere.
Experience an unforgettable dining adventure in complete darkness where your senses come alive and unique surprises await at every turn.

Amazing experience, the whole idea is awesome, unique and inspiring! Hiring the visually disabled is something a company should get more applause for doing! Joe was awesome and funny! Our needs were met! I had a gluten allergy and had no problem finding gluten free stuff on the menu, they can change pretty much everything to be gluten free! My only real complaint is that the prices were super high and the food was a solid 7.5/10 which isn’t bad at all! It’s more for the experience and I’m so happy with everything!
Experience a hidden gem with house-made dishes, fantastic wines, and a vibrant decor that keeps everyone coming back for more.

Everything is made in house … gluten free pastas and crackers available . The wines were amazing ! The mushroom risotto was perfectly cooked , the rigatoni Bolognese was superb … this place reminded me of the old pronto on Cambie street , but better ! Will definitely be going back
Dine in for an even better experience, as this spot offers some of the best flavors you'll find in Kitsilano!

My husband and I always order from this place. We recently have been dinning in and can I say the food is some how even better if you dine in! Take out is totally worth it and still delicious. They accomdate for my husbands Gluten Sensitivity and he has had zero issues from them. All the dishes are delish. Best Chinese in Kitsilano. ❤️
Cozy spot in Kitsilano known for delicious dim sum and great vegetarian options, making it a go-to for a unique dining experience.

Honestly, this place falls short of expectations. Despite claiming to offer gluten-free options on their online menu, there were none available. It's a charming spot, but the service lacks expertise, and the food doesn't scream authenticity. The menu is disappointingly limited. For an authentic experience, your best bet is to venture to Richmond instead.
Amazing vibe with an extensive authentic Mexican menu; the tortilla soup and battered fish tacos are standout favorites!

I will start by saying this is some of the best Mexican food in Vancouver. Each dish was packed full of flavour with generous portions...but the service...was terrible.
I'm not sure if it was the staff on the particular Friday night we went but, I've never experienced such terrible service.
The staff were friendly but ridiculously slow and forgetful.
It started with when we arrived. We were left standing at the door for 5 minutes while the door staff pottered around doing seemingly nothing, fixing lights and what not. The place had multiple empty tables too, we still had to wait in the cold to be seated.
The women who took our order started to take it, once we listed out appys she just turned around and walked away...said absolutely nothing and didn't come back. It took 5 minutes to flag down someone to take the rest of our order.
We thought it was random misunderstanding and enjoyed our appetizers. But it took 55 minutes from us finishing our appetizers to get the main course, and when we got it, we needed to request cutlery twice.
During that almost hour, our glasses were regularly empty, and it was difficult to flag staff down to request a refill, and once we did, it took even longer to get the next glass.
I usually wouldn't complain about something like this only for the place was half empty, the staff stood in the hallway to the kitchen chatting and it wasn't just one staffer, it was multiple bad interactions.
We paid almost $150 for food and drinks and only for the food was that good I'd be leaving 1 star.
Please speak with and train your staff, your food is too good to have such poor service.
I really want to come back and try more, if there is guaranteed better service, especially because almost everything on the menu is gluten free which is rare in Vancouver.
With a warm, natural ambiance and expertly prepared dishes, expect a delightful experience, though you might need a little patience for your meal.

This was our first visit to "Don at Kitsilano".
They'd run out a few of the gluten free items on the menu, but I was able to find substitutes.
The food was wonderful! We all enjoyed our meals.
I had beef tartare as a starter, and beef cheeks for the main. Both dishes were fabulous!!
If you want to be sure of a table, make a reservation.
As a party of 4, we were very glad we had reserved a few days before our visit.
We are already planning our next visit!
Thank you so much everyone.
Great sushi place, very tasty creations and seemed to be high quality. I'm coeliac so I love that they have a gluten free section in the menu, but wish they had gluten free soy sauce to go with it.
Unique vibes and a lively atmosphere make for a memorable experience, with great service and delicious options tailored for everyone.

Outstanding on all accounts!!! Went out of their way to to find us a table. Food was sooo goood!!! And so many legitimate gluten free options. 🤩😋 Our waitress Hanna was so lovely and knowledgeable, best vibes ever all around. Would definitely Recommend 😍

Perfect spot for a quick no-fuss meal; friendly staff, celiac-friendly menu and cosy vibes
The food itself is super tasty, a bit too much on the sweet side especially the Thai iced tea and even the pad thai, but overall generous portions, nice flavours and textures
And no background music which is rare and amazing 💗
