Tina has an excellent understanding of all dietary restrictions and produces delicious, authentic Malaysian/ Nonya specialties for all us GF folk. Not only that, but she is welcoming, warm and it’s a treat to spend time in her friendly restaurant. A gold star to Tina!!

Amazing food, the best Mac and Cheese I've ever had!! The waitress was amazing, she talked through the entire menu and guided my girlfriend through the gluten free options. We had a sharing platter and they split the tray of gluten free and non-gluten free items.

Fox Paradox (Ampang) — A morning to remember! 😋✨ This restaurant brings a whole new meaning to the saying ‘food is fuel’. My friends and I visited fox paradox for breakfast during our trip to KL and established this was the best breakfast we’ve had so far. As we approached the restaurant, the first thing we noticed was the humorous menu sign left in the entrance. Immediately the vibe of the restaurant was felt throughout our group — this was not just another ‘food place’. The chic industrial arsthetic and chill atmospehere curated by the people behind fox paradox highlighted the amount of detail that owners of other restaurants often easily overlook. Small additions such as the catchy and vibrant music enhanced our experience greatly. Alongside that the seating was nice and cushy. Here are some our few favourites: 1. The gluten-free pancakes was a delightful addition considering it’s ability to accommodate to different diets. The dish was adorned with fresh mangoes and indulgent, fruity topping. Would definitely recommend! 2. The pasta options including the Cabonara was al dente (something our european-obssessed friend found very important). The rich, creamy sauce covered the pasta generously, balancing the peppery, salty taste. Overall, we were all very satisfied with the dishes we received. Need I say more? Just look the pictures!! With the service, we all agreed that it was highly efficient! The amiable workers greeted us with warm smiles and settled us in naturally. Would come again! Already recommend it to all my friends as well! ☺️ p.s. to any single ladies reading this, fox paradox has great eye-candy…but you didn’t hear that from me 🤭 portion: 10/10 service: 8/10 atmosphere: 11/10 food: 9/10

Was here for the gluten free options. A big mistake! It was a disaster. Extremely poor service, very long waiting times (50 minutes until the food came). The food was cold, carelessly prepared and didn't taste good. The tea was far too sour even after a complaint it wasn't any better. Left almost all the food and tea untouched.

Every time I come to KK I have to stop by El Centro. This time, they had updated the menu and the food was better than ever! They also have vegan/vegetarian and gluten free options. They do a quiz every Wednesday and the vibes in the evenings can't be beat in KK. Highly recommend!

Last night visited one of my favourite places to eat in Batu Ferringhi, Helena's. I have Coeliac Disease so played safe with the tried and trusted Mutton Curry, steamed rice and mixed veg 😋 the kitchen also sent out some gluten-free Dahl for me to try, all totally delicious 😋 👌 😍 Next time I visit, I will order the Dahl as my main 😋 Highly recommend Helena's if you need gluten-free and also if you don't 😍 👌 All the staff are lovely and friendly too, great place to eat 🥰

They don't have a gluten free menu, but they do have a salad option, I had a superfood salad with lemonade. Everything was delicious, the staff was super friendly, in fact they told me they could ask the kitchen if a dish could be adapted. The ticket includes 10% of tips and 6% of I didn't understand what... I recommend sitting inside, the climate is very cozy, a lot of people and noise pass by outside.

I went there after reading some of the comments on Atly. I am also vegetarian. They had very limited options for vegetarian/coeliacs. I mushrooms and broccoli, which wasn’t amazing. The broccoli had some kind of crisp on it which I took off as I had no idea what it was. The mushrooms were in some kind of oily sauce. I felt diabolical afterwards, but it could have also been something I had the previous day. The staff knew about gluten free and had a book with things highlighted.

Great food in a really nice atmosphere for a reasonable price. My wife is Celiac and requires a gluten free diet. We spoke with the owner and she was very knowledgeable. Many of the dishes are gluten free as well. We just stumbled upon this place but will definitely be coming back.

This was one of our many visits to Knife&Fork as I'm Coeliac and need Gluten-free. Liang is always so helpful... this visit she made for me fried crispy fish in a sweet n sour sauce especially made with fresh tomatoes. Also had chicken rice and stir fry veg in garlic. Gorgeous food. Liang and Loon are such lovely hosts and make everyone really welcome. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough if you are needing gf or not. My hubby and friends have eaten many many things on the menu and they always enjoy 😋 Pay a visit, you won't be disappointed 🥰

We had a great dinner at Aro Restaurant. Since I have celiac disease, I have to eat gluten-free. That wasn't a problem at all in this restaurant. The waiter took the time to explain to me which dishes were gluten-free (almost all of them) and what was in each dish. I felt very safe and the food was delicious.

One bold word: OVERPRICE. Chinahouse is undeniably a charming and artsy spot in George Town, perfect for hanging out or getting a little creative on their white canvas-covered tables — yes, you can doodle while you sip! The place has plenty of space and a unique vibe, with an inviting ambiance that’s great for chilling with friends. We ordered two slices of cake — the Tiramisu with alcohol and a gluten-free orange cake, paired with a small hot coffee and an iced chocolate. The total? Around RM87, which definitely made us raise an eyebrow. It’s steep, especially for casual dessert and drinks. That said, the Tiramisu was fantastic, especially if you enjoy the boozy kick. The orange cake was decent, but nothing too special. The garden porch at the back seemed a bit abandoned, which was a slight letdown, though the overall vibe of the place remained pleasant. Despite the price, we had a good experience and appreciated the friendly hospitality. Final thoughts? If you’re a die-hard Tiramisu lover, it’s worth a try — but be prepared to pay a premium. Still, a lovely spot for the occasional treat.
