I can’t believe all the great reviews here. The service was terrible- we were ignored for over 30 mins before our order was served. The waitress didn’t seem to even bother to ask us about our food- though she was doing that to all the neighboring tables (racist much?).
The food was quite bad, tbh. The hot shrooms were drenched in oil- had no salt or flavor, and oozed oil when we bit into it. My friend felt really nauseated after because of all the oil in it.
The pizza was also under seasoned(we got the motor thingy)… the tomato sauce was really sweet- not in a good way. It felt like they had added sugar instead of salt. The gluten free crust was more like a focaccia, it wasn’t bad but felt like I was eating a sweet tomato focaccia toast, not a pizza. And there was really no flavor outside of the sweet tomato sauce.
Very disappointed.
Eclectic spot with a vibrant menu, offering a burst of flavor in every dish; perfect for spice lovers and those seeking creative vegan options.

Great food!! Ordered the eggplant, spicy noodles, pad Thai and pineapple fried rice. We finished everything, it was so yummy. Finished with the gluten free chocolate cake, definitely decadent. Will return when we're in town. Service was quick and friendly. Love this place.
Very cool environment, great service, delicious food & beer. Love that there are gluten free options and items are marked on menu. Definitely recommend going! 👌

Great 100% gluten free spot! It is also raw and vegan, so it does not have the most traditional meals and desserts but they are still very yummy. I enjoyed the various raw desserts we ordered and my cashew cheese quesadilla.

We went here on a slow evening and sat at the bar. We ordered a cider and the gluten free chicken tinders and fries, I asked the bartender about the fryer and she assured me that it was completely gluten free and no chance of cross contamination. The $15 chicken tinders and fries were just okay, the chicken was dark meat which I thought was kinda gross and cheap for chicken tinders. Then I got violently ill later that evening and knew I had been glutened. 2 days later and I’m still recovering, don’t eat here if you have celiac.
Also i definitely wish I would’ve checked Find me gluten-free reviews before I came.

Came here for dinner with friends and it was delicious! Tiramisu was amazing. The crust was good and it’s made on a pizza oven so. Some friends ordered their pasta and said it was good; there’s egg pasta options too.
Just when we thought there wasn’t any Parmesan cheese, a lady came with the biggest bowl with ever seen and served us! They have gluten free options (both pasta and pizza) and even dairy free/vegan cheese options for pizza- which is a great option for lactose intolerant people.
Only complaint is that they only had like one bathroom and it took forever for us to use it.
This spot stands out for its diverse menu, outdoor vibe, and unique drink offerings, making it a fun brunch destination for everyone!

Good prices too

We made a reservation for a family bday gathering and appreciated the thoughtful pre-dining service. Our outdoor seating location was beautiful with incredible views & comfortable seating.
Ketch has fantastic house brews & a great assortment of beverages. We selected Ketch due to ease of parking, gorgeous location, kids menu & gluten free options. We didn’t “ketch” happy hour, but it’s epic!
Service was swift and courteous; however, a few items were overlooked. Side of potatoes ordered but not delivered. Kids meals were missing whipped cream & a side of fruit & it took a 9 year old to point it out. Oopsie!
Food was decent, but there were mixed reviews.
- Skirt steak was well done instead of medium rare. They replaced the meal but still disappointing
- The birthday “boy” ordered a short rib sandwich, and it was reportedly mushy, luke warm & lacking flavor. Fries were a mix of perfectly cooked & underdone
- A poke bowl made “gluten free” means no farro (not sub rice, etc) & no sauce (they don’t offer tamari or any kind of gluten free sauce & no sriracha)
- breakfast burrito was good but needed salt, which seemed to be a regular theme
- Brussels sprouts are BOMB!!! Surf & turf dip was pretty yummy too
- Fruit side was delicious fresh melon & pineapple
- Delicious 🤤 unexpected free dessert for the bday “boy” with a candle
Enjoy this spot tremendously & hope they can pick I the slack where they’re sliding. Wishing our experience was a 5 instead of a 3.5/4, but family & ambiance made up for it! ❤️

Had the chicken meal. It was alright, but it wasn't anything noteworthy. You won't be impressed, but you also won't be completely let down either. I think this place is probably better for you if you are gluten free or vegan, which is why I have it a 4 star instead of a 3.

Quality agreements + made well will always = a superb meal. Pizza dough had a nice bounce to it while also getting a nice burn on the crust and bottom to give it that perfect crunch. Gluten free pizzas are solid too. Def will order from again.

The food was incredible, the menu has a little bit of everything, so there’s definitely something for everyone. Great gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options as well! The salmon and bone-in rib eye were by far our favorites. I would definitely recommend Greystone to anyone looking for incredible food and drinks, a great atmosphere, and stellar service.
About the food - Their smoked brisket chili is roll-your-eyes-back-in-your-head good, and the ribs fell off the bone so beautifully. Moved onto the desserts too, couldn’t believe how great the peach cobbler tasted, talk about nostalgia bonanza! Not to forget, gluten trouble people, they’ve got your back! Chief, you get all this smack-bang for your buck, without hurting the wallet.
With a lively atmosphere and a unique 'make your own' dish option, this spot is perfect for gatherings and flavorful experiences.

Had a wonderful dinner here this evening. I am gluten free and ordered the gnocchi and my husband had the lamb tagliatelle pasta. Great portion sizes. We ordered a bottle of the Super Tuscan which is luscious! We took what was left with us. We shared the misto salad which they graciously split for us. Our service and food were wonderful. We have been to Italy and this is top notch.
Folks Italy is Italy-it’s the terroir of there and cannot be matched but this came pretty darn close! Would defiantly eat here again.

We came on a rainy day for lunch and received phenomenal service. The hostess ensured we were seated in a spot with plenty of space for our strollers. The owner stopped by and chatted and provided recommendations. They allowed my four year old to order a simple pasta dish from off the menu. The complimentary bread was warm and fragrant. We enjoyed the fresh caprese appetizer and all of our pastas exceeded expectations. My husband loved his gluten free gnocchi dish. Eating here was truly a highlight of our sightseeing around little Italy.

Great food and great service. It was my first time here and I'm definitely coming back. They have a lot of different pizza options, including gluten free and cauliflower crust. The pizza was delicious, with a lot of toppings and a perfectly cooked crust. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was also really nice, with a chill and comfortable vibe. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience.

We were very surprised by the menu and dishes served. There wasn't a theme I could discern. Most of the entrees were absolutely wild and unique to me and my gastroexpert wife. Don't get me wrong the food was extremely delicious, with serious attention to detail. Expansive beverage / wine / NA selection with some fun unique cocktails, like the iberico fat old fashioned.
Appetizers were equally wild. Roasted oysters with bone marrow and horse radish butter? Venison tartar with calabrian chile? Yes yes and yes please! I'm sad we didn't try more : ( based on how scrumptious those were. Wild dishes that not only worked but stood above other elevated cuisines we've had in San Diego.
Entrees continued the trend. We sampled two pizzas, one anchovi that was gobbled up and another that was gluten free and also goneso.
I had the grilled iberico pork secreto, and found while some chew here and there, the balance with white beans, arugula and apple mostarda sauce was delightful.
The Oxtail Gnocchi was sublime.
The two real all stars of the night were the Torchio and the Cappelleti. Both for very different reasons. The latter has a lemon sauce that is vibrant, and the bugs bunny was very tender and flavorful. On the former it was a hot mess. Curly pasta with a huge burratta in the middle surrounded with succulent lamb. What?!
I will say the portions of the gnocchi and cappelletti were perfect for a light meal.
Side note, our server sent us two drinks that were not what we ordered (originally ordered the "shield" sauv blanc and got the "il masso" Pinot. Didn't complain because it was good but asked to taste the sauv and the server was correct in what I really wanted! Same with the Ponche he served the Lemon and Herbs and after trying both he was correct again!)
Based purely on the vast differences of cuisine choices this is an easy repeat location. Atmosphere was open and inviting, modem but sophisticated. Glass Window Kitchen in the back provided all the right vibes.
Looked at the desserts but could not indulge after such a filling and appetizing meal.
Will repeat! Great job yet again, Brian!

They have some delicious gluten reduced beers. They limit tasters to 2 at a time. Wish they offered a full test flight. They also don’t fill growlers. Prices are decent though so it’s worth buying in cans. Really cool space that’s great for families or just a couple buddies.

Great place for eating gluten free. Menu has gluten free items clearly marked. When I asked about adding a pro my salad, server made sure I understood that all their proteins are grilled (no breading or coating) so no gluten goes on the grill.

My husband and I went here on our honeymoon and it turned into one of our favorite breakfast places in San Diego. We recently took a couple family members when we visited and everything was just as amazing as before. Each time we were seated very quickly, service was on point, and the food was beyond fantastic. They also have a gluten free menu and vegan options. Sitting outside on the patio is ideal, but most people are waiting to sit outside so you have a better chance getting a table if you choose to sit inside.

Gluten free options. Small quaint restaurant with very good food. I would double check with when ordering if food items are indeed Gluten Free. We ordered the pancakes understanding they were GF free but not sure if they actually were and we failed to ask thoroughly.
Outside of that issue this was a wonderful breakfast place.

Ate here for lunch between museums. Not crowded, rapid service, fantastic food, with great views from the outside seating of the surrounding valley. The gluten free fish tacos were great with the server taking the time to document allergies to the kitchen.

Excellent food! Great service! We also loved that they accommodated food allergies - child with egg and tree nut allergies and adult with avocado and pork allergies. We don’t have a gluten allergy but they have a gluten free dedicated fryer (and the fryer was egg and TN free) and gluten free options.
This place is perfect for family outings with a cozy vibe and amazing desserts, though it can get pretty loud when busy.

Went here for lunch today. I usually avoid popular restaurants like this because of the long wait times. But, today a Thursday around 3PM wasn't bad--there was no wait. I usually try to avoid pastas but decided to give one a try today. I usually go for Alfredo because they are safe. I ordered the Da Vinci which is a creamy mushroom pasta with chicken. It was very savory and good I would recommend it. Got dessert had to get a cheesecake. You can't go wrong with any of the flavors today I had a chocolate one but I want to go back for a lime coconut one. They did have 2 no sugar added lower calorie options for the cheesecake which is great for people who are trying to eat less sugar. "Low-Licious Cheesecake. Low Carb, No Sugar Added and Gluten Free Cheesecake."
A local gem with organic options, amazing smoothies, and fantastic atmosphere that keeps everyone coming back for more.

I am absolutely OBSESSED with Vili’s, as is every single person I’ve ever introduced them to. So much so that I had them cater for my bridal party the morning of my wedding!!! Needless to say my bridesmaids were beyond stoked. As a health conscious foodie who wants my food/drinks to be BOTH healthy & delicious, Vili’s hits the spot EVERY SINGLE TIME. Their lattes, matcha, smoothie bowls, vitality shots, avocado toasts, and don’t even get me started on their oat bars, they’re all so. freaking. good. I’m allergic to both dairy and gluten and yet I can eat virtually everything on their menu. They always offer high quality ingredients that leave you feeling great AND taste like an indulgence. They are THE reason I come to OB. Grab a drink & a snack for your walk along Sunset Cliff’s. And thank me later!
Nestled in the up-and-coming East Village, this spot is renowned for its top-notch pizza that's winning over even non-specialty eaters.

Update: bumped 4 to 5 stars after reflecting how much I'll miss Cali-O as I move elsewhere
Original: This place is one of my go to spots living in NP. It's on the pricier side, but I really think it's reflected in the taste because the ingredients are quite good. The beef is the star and if you get a fancy burger, it will be overshadowed by the extra stuff. I get the GF bun and sweet potato fries and have never had any feeling of gluten contamination!

The ambiance, atmosphere is great & very unique.
This review is only for their gluten free options. It’s all very fried/unhealthy and not filling. I left feeling like we were just at an upscale version of Del Mar Fair except the fair is cheaper and I’d be more full. Everyone else at the table who didn’t need to eat gluten free had a delicious meal with so many options.
I held off on eating here for over 8 years hoping to come when they had a better GF menu. I’d been in here for drinks and mocktails before and it was great. I waited until now bc they do have a couple more GF options than before. I love vegan food. I was sad that I left hungry and didn’t enjoy the food like everyone else did. I did pay a good amount for this food too.

This place is truly an experience. I've struggled with finding high end restaurants that are accommodating with dietary restrictions. Mister A's not only made it easy but enjoyable. They were willing to work with us being dairy free and gluten free. The thrice baked yam dish was an explosion of flavor in every bite. My partner's duck dish was perfectly cooked. Our tuna appetizer melted in our mouths. We also had several cocktails, including espresso martinis that were the perfect way to kick off the night! Highly recommend finishing with the coconut dessert and a port wine.
