GLUTEN FREE /COELIAC!!! Best SOR. Menu is up to date! Multiple gluten free options i.e battered seafood, Sauces and sides. In all the best ways! Batter was light and crunchy. Chips were light and golden. The local Shark was fresh, tender and melt in your mouth. Value for money in regards to all mentioned above. I'd drive from Kalgoorlie again and visit here every time! Thankyou so much! I can't wait to bring my family ❤️ p.s the service was fast and welcoming. Less one star 🌟 ONLY because I reckon you need a bigger space! 5 min from beach!

Visited twice over the weekend. The first day we had the lobster roll which was awesome and the oysters which were super fresh. We had gluten free fish and chips on our second visit and it was one of the best I’ve had. The views were amazing and a surprisingly good beer selection topped it off. Will visit again

My family and I spent an amazing evening mealxhere. The staff were fantastic and the food was out of this world. Due to both my children being coliac there is always a concern about gluten in the food but this was not a concern at this establishment. Staff went above and beyond to assist us. We booked months in advance to get one of the best seats in the house!!!!

This is by far my favourite fish and chips shop. Gluten free everything even the vinegar. They remember your name, even if you have been away for months . The other fish and chips shops should use this place as their gold standard. They will never catch them though

It has been really challenging to find good quality of fish since we moved to Sydney January last year especially gluten free battered fish, so happy to have found this place - good quality of fish, flaky and fresh (no fishy taste). We ordered hoki fish & chips (GF) & grilled snapper. Friendly staffs as well, definitely will come back!

This place is the best, and safe for Coeliac customers. The owner has a coeliac in the family, so the menu has a huge range of gluten free foods, and all deserts are gluten free. The service was incredible and the food is amazing! My fav place when I visit Tassie, knowing I’m in safe hands ❤️

Great portion sizes. Fresh fish and calamari. Gluten free options (grilled fish, and chips are gf too). They were very busy (waited 30mins for our order) but the staff were transparent about it when ordering and super friendly.

Plenty of food options that were gluten free. The chef took the time to personally walk me through the entire buffet to explain the gluten free options. Never had a chef do that before. Wonderful exceptional service. Roast meats were good quality and overall a good buffet.

Booked a table for 3 on 22/09/24 based off the recommendation from Atly. This trip to Melbourne had been amazing so far, but unfortunately despite letting the wait staff know I was GF, I had a reaction here. Was quite sad given the feedback from other users, and the food tasted really nice. Not sure what it was, but it was (barramundi, gf bread and olives, gf marg pizza), but something got me good

MID Overall, we had a mixed experience – some dishes were delicious, but several service and food issues kept the evening from being truly special. • Tasty mains: The lamb (with potatoes) was absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly. • Great gluten-free dessert: The gluten-free rhubarb dessert was a wonderful end to the meal – creative and flavorful. Areas for Improvement • Slow service for basics: Water service was slow, and one of our cocktails was forgotten until we reminded the staff. • Service slip-ups: A waiter dropped cutlery near our table, and we were almost served a drink in a chipped glass (caught just in time). • Table clutter: Unused wine glasses stayed on our table all night, which felt cluttered and unnecessary. • No dish explanations: Each dish was delivered with no description or introduction, leaving us guessing what we were eating. • Food quality issues: Some ingredients not fresh – the cauliflower salad had pomegranate seeds that tasted old, and a gluten-free zucchini flower appetizer had an off (fishy) taste. • Burnt dessert: Unfortunately, the churros we ordered came out burnt, which was disappointing, especially for a special occasion.

Our Respite group of seniors went for morning tea on Saturday 30th September, the staff are just amazing so friendly and helpful lots of Gluten free + vegetarian options nothing is too much trouble, the coffee is lovely and the smashed avocado was delicious + a fantastic menu we had 17 people eating + drinking and all the food + drinks came out so quickly with no issues. Ordered the seafood chowder and half a dozen oysters while partner ordered the edge chicken. The food was delicious and the service ladies were lovely. According to the menu, the owner and chef is gluten-free, so this is also a great option for coeliacs. In terms of vibes, I was expecting almost like a classy restaurant vibe but think of it more as a take-away fish and chip shop. While the restaurant is located close to the water, I mostly got obstructed views of the sea as there is a green space between the restaurant and the sea. Honestly, not a big deal as the food and service more than made up for it.

********Amendment******** We contacted the owner who clarified that they do have a Gluten Free fryer safe for coeliacs, he advised there had been new staff on the night we attended. He was lovely and was personally going to rectify the issue. This is great news, as this is one of the only coeliac safe fryers in the area. ........................................ Previously they had a seperate gluten free fryer, safe for coeliac, this is no longer the case. Very annoyed.

I am impressed. We had so many options and I got myself a glutenfree and vegan Chickpea Curry, it was awesome😍. And my better half and I had our second anniversary and got a cute designed dessert and got a really sweet decorated table. We sat near the water and had the most amazing view the whole time. Wonderful, soothing lighting and not too many tables squashed together. Not too loud either, you can hear your conversation. Our server was so attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious and the drinks cold. They do take away meals too so we got our dessert to take home as we were full but the food was so good we didn’t want to miss out on something tomorrow. I love that nearly everything is gluten free. Highly recommend the gnocchi and the venue.

When I say this fish and chips hit the spot!!! I feel like screaming from the rooftop how much I loved it. I’m gluten free so i had the grilled fish and chips with home made tartare and the fish was so well cooked. The chips were crispy but still soft inside! The store is so clean and tidy. Think I’ll be going back every day I’m here. Only regret was not taking a photo of how delicious it looked!

Just the best place for eats! They are coeliac gluten free friendly, amazing location and the kids will have a great time! We ordered the lemon pepper squid and the tuna tataki with a fish and chips for the kiddies. Everything was so tasty and arrived really quickly. The view was stunning and the staff were really lovely with a great sense of humour. Will be heading back to try more of their menu next time!
