We were looking for a restaurant near Charco Verde for lunch, and after reading that Casa Rafa had good reviews, we decided to book, and it was a great choice. To start with, all the waiters are charming and take care of every detail. As soon as you arrive, they serve you bread with mojo sauce, asking beforehand if there are any guests with gluten intolerances. My husband, a celiac, told the waitress, and she immediately brought him gluten-free bread. She also informed us that all the fried food was gluten-free, as were the desserts. We ordered delicious black rice and, while we waited, some grilled Lanzarote cheese, which pleasantly surprised us. Definitely a recommended place.

They offer gluten-free pasta and pizza options. We had two pizzas, both large and quite good. The waiters were helpful and attentive. Located right on the seafront, the atmosphere is pleasant.

We thoroughly enjoyed the food at this restaurant and the friendliness of the waiters. Special mention goes to the scrambled potatoes with cream cheese and caramel, and the polvito—spectacular! Also, the sautéed tuna with vegetables and Canarian plantain, and the crunchy, salty chocolate mousse... Generous portions. You can tell everything is homemade, and gluten-free, too. And the background music is relaxing and very pleasant. Thank you very much!

Perfect restaurant for celiacs since the owner is celiac so he is aware of food intolerance, mixed fried food without gluten and also parmigiana, for the pizza it must be booked a day in advance because the impact is made by gold and it is good quality. Spectacular food (vegan and gluten-free), you can see the farm before eating, and the atmosphere and staff are very welcoming. Without a doubt, a unique experience that I highly recommend.

Overall very good The food is delicious, contrary to some comments I have read, we at least got it right with razor clams, chopitos and secret rice Clearly you pay for the atmosphere and the place but if you combine it with good service and you leave the towels on the beach, you spend the morning and go down to spend the afternoon without moving more than 20 meters, it is priceless If it is sunny and there is no wind, tables in the sun are a bad idea, always ask for the shade, just in case. Attentive and fast service to be a beach “chiringuito” They have beer and gluten-free bread!!! Point for celiacs

A different place where you can see that they have put a lot of care into its decoration to create such a pleasant atmosphere. We ate a smash burger that we thought was one of the tastiest we have ever tasted, as a garnish they put some fries and a combination of lettuce and carrot with a spectacular sauce. For dessert we had banana bread, they are gluten-free, so we didn't like that one as much. Fast and attentive service.

A spectacular brunch! ✨ We discovered this place and absolutely loved everything about it. We tried their specialty coffee and it was incredible, with a super rich flavor and well-prepared ☕️. We also ordered a tropical smoothie that was delicious and very refreshing. The full breakfast is made with organic and healthy products 🥑 you can taste it and how you feel after eating! Plus, they have tons of vegan 🌱 and gluten-free options. Everything they make is prepared with so much love and dedication. You can feel it in every dish 🍽️. The staff is very friendly, attentive, and has a good vibe. We went for lunch on a Saturday; we were the first to arrive, but the place filled up immediately after opening. It wasn’t our first time, and we keep coming back because this place deserves more than 5 stars. The venue, location, service, food, and atmosphere are spectacular. We had an appetizer with three items: Taggiasca olives, sun-dried tomatoes, and smoked provola mozzarella—all divine—accompanied by homemade crostini that were delightful on their own with a drizzle of olive oil. But we saw many more antipasto options that we bet were amazing as well (next time: bufala appetizer for sure). Then we ordered two pizzas: a Recco filled with melty crescenza mozzarella and extra Taggiasca olives, and a gluten-free base pizza with spicy salami. Both were excellent, a sure thing. We topped the pizzas with homemade spicy oil, which was also truly exquisite. The establishment offers house wine, bottled and branded, although we enjoyed two excellent spritzes. As for the coffee: 100% Italian espresso, excellent, accompanied by a nice treat—a chocolate bonbon. Truly a place to dine regularly. Thank you for this quality and customer care.

Run by locals, they take great care with the products and presentation. The staff is very friendly. A great choice for breakfast and dinner. Those with celiac disease can eat without problems. The gluten-free toast, burgers, and beer are available. A complete success. We've had breakfast every day and dinner several times. 100% recommended.

A good destination if you're celiac. Except for the croquettes, almost the entire menu is gluten-free. Recommended are the scalded gofio, fried fish on the side, and squid with gluten-free batter (optional). They also have gluten-free sponge bread with anise. And Aday is a sweetheart. Recommended.

we took the breakfast bowl (with quinoa, figs, eggs and avocado) and toast with avocado, egg and salmon. they have glutenfree bread which was amazing! the green juice and the protein smoothie were also nice. all in all the food tasted very healthy and with little salt. we felt very good after it.

I rarely go to Italian restaurants abroad but when your wife's desire for pizza calls, well that desire becomes my desire... and I was really pleasantly impressed. I ate these tagliatelle with a really excellent lamb ragout. With the same ragù my wife took a gluten-free pizza (pre-ready base sigh). Both definitely satisfied. But the real surprise within the surprise was the caprese cake. I don't think I've ever eaten one so good. The service is attentive, kind, welcoming, decidedly Italian (in the positive meaning of the term). Prices appropriate to the quality. Obviously on the way out we booked for a couple of nights later. I will also update you regarding the pizza 😉 PS For celiac friends they have both GF pasta and pizza. And here's an update. The pizza is really excellent and the gluten-free pasta is also devoured. We drank an excellent New Zealand wine and repeated it with the excellent Caprese. I don't know if I will return to Gran Canaria but if it happens I will certainly come back to eat here. Applause goes to the truly uniquely courteous staff. Here if I were to participate in "Little big Italy" this would be my local Italian restaurant.
