I’ve accepted that I’ll never be a judge on Master Chef, in return I’d accepted that I’d never have an experience where you bite into a dish and get to be absolutely astounded by all the flavors and profiles that come along with it… until I ate at Colita! We had the Pate and it was nothing short of remarkable! The staff was top tier, the food was outstanding, and the atmosphere is intimate and inviting! I’m completely gluten free and could order anything on the menu! We had the best time! Thank you for hosting us and giving us an exceptional experience start to finish! 💕
A charismatic owner serving outstanding and uniquely spiced delights that have swept folks off their feet! A must-visit!

Who thought with celiac disease you could go to a mall and be 100% safe to eat while you are out!! Not until today!! Food was delicious... Loved being able to get some fried food without worry of cross contamination. Everyone should try it... Even if you don't have a gluten problem! The cheese curds... Yum!!!
A hidden gem with huge portions and unique flavor combinations, featuring smoked meats and a variety of creative dishes that impress everyone.

Very celiac friendly, the food is very fresh and vibrant. The staff is friendly and helpful. I wish it had a bigger seating area so I could bring everyone I know :)

My girlfriend and I split the Jerk caramel wings and the double burger. Both were great! We are gluten-free, and they have a lot of options for us too.
With a unique atmosphere and a variety of seating options, this spot shines for its excellent service and wide-ranging menu, perfect for a chill night out.

Our go to "fast food" spot. Gluten free burgers. Sports Bar atmosphere, not our thing, but it's always.
A local favorite with quick service, a customizable menu, and a great selection of toppings that'll keep you coming back for more!

Saw so many positive reviews stating this was celiac-safe, good for those with gluten issues, and delicious---but when we went, the very first thing was saw was someone patting down flour tortillas on the line preparing someone else's food, and they went straight in with the same gloved hands into the cheese and other ingredients, contaminating everything (tho it was surely already well-compromised before we saw it). We had no choice but to drop out of line waiting to order and find another place to eat. A real shame--we were so ready to have something delicious and safely gluten-free after an hours-long drive in all the bad winter weather with this place in mind for dinner. :(
A go-to spot for unique meals with fantastic options that keep everyone happy and coming back for more!

I have severe celiac and I safely ate delicious food here! My server was kind and knowledgeable. I was told by my partner and brother that the gluten food was also delicious.

La Tapatia 5 stars because the food really showed out! Authentic, flavorful Mexican food, definitely some of the best in Minnesota and felt like it was a hidden gem for sure. We came on a Saturday, at about 4/4:30, before the dinner rush, purposefully.
Service: We were warmly greeted after entering their somewhat long hallway. Our server was helpful with the menu when we asked but never smiled. They weren’t busy at this time and I felt like they were attentive.
Food: this is where they shine! We loved everything we ordered. We started with Queso Blanco, Guacamole and freshly made chips. Everything was good, particularly the chips. For our main course we ordered tacos and Burrito. The Tacos we ordered (which were all corn) included the Al Pastor (4/5) street style, Chorizo (5/5) Tejano style, Pescado (fried fish- 4/5), Camarones (grilled shrimp 5/5) Tejano style, Burrito was vegetarian (5/5). We also ordeeed a large rice, which was the best Mexican rice we have ever had. We loved all the salsas and tried each of them. The hot was hot but totally still enjoyable. The Salsa verde and Salsa Aguacate (w/avocado) were are favorites and both milder. The only drink menu we were given has beers on it (which neither of us usually do) but we shared a raspberry beer, it was nice. Unfortunately we were too full to try desserts but they looked delicious and I heard they are. Food portions are not large, so you definitely won’t feel like you’re overeating.
They have gluten-free options, and vegetarian options so you can find something for almost everyone.
Atmosphere: It was warmly decorated with high ceilings. It’s not a large place but I’m sure would accommodate a lot more if it were summer and the patio area was open for sure. It wasn’t loud but then again, we came before a rush. The seating is not the most comfortable, as it’s high tops or diner tables with metal chairs (high top chairs have no backs).
It felt like a family/kid friendly area and lots to look at. You go for the food and you will be pleasantly surprised. I definitely recommend and we plan to come back!

Came here twice in a row for lunch.
Saucy tots tacos are righteous!
Falafel was pretty darn good.
Bean taco was even tasty.
The place is a bit gritty, but I could have cared less after biting into those tasty tacos!
Tots tacos and falafel are marked as Not Gluten free on the menu, however, if you're not bothered by shared oil for frying, they are, for sensitivity only, gluten free enough for me!
I'm definitely stealing the idea for tots tacos at home!
Yummy food. Almost everything is gluten free except the tortillas. The workers changed their gloves and we're careful not to contaminate our food. I was thrilled that they have horchata (cinnamon rice milk drink) which is hard to find in the midwest. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area again.
A lively spot where the menu boasts made-from-scratch offerings, perfect for a casual hangout with friends and great vibes.

Good food, reasonable prices. Gluten free options marked GF on the menu. Food made from scratch. Server did not check back on us often enough for pop refill etc.

Didn't even know there was a Centro over here! The food was good. The place was pretty empty for a Saturday afternoon which was nice for a quiet environment and service was real fast. Overall pricing is reasonable. I really like their queso too!
Plenty of Gluten Free options (not sure if it's celiac friendly, but perfect for a gluten sensitivity!)
Enjoy a vibrant dining experience with quick service, delicious drinks, and lively music that creates a lively atmosphere.

Had a fantastic meal at Machete. My companion had dietary restrictions, so we decided to go out for Mexican food. Our food arrived promptly after ordering, the drinks we ordered were delicious, the service was excellent, and the live music added to the overall enjoyable dining experience.
With a modern vibe and attentive service, this spot offers a unique dining experience worth checking out, though there's room for ingredient improvement.

The service was great and the atmosphere was very nice. The food was decent, but not amazing. I think they are trying really hard to get the farm to table, real food feel, but fall short in a couple of areas. They should use real ketchup, and the cheese on their cheeseburger was like plastic. Also, there weren't very many vegetable options. We asked for the brussel sprouts to be sauteed instead of fried, but they wouldn't do it. That was disappointing. Glad they have some gluten free options. The chicken was excellent- you can tell it's high quality. We will definitely come back, but I hope they try to raise the bar on their other ingredients and not use so much vegetable oils, but instead use butter, lard, or things that really do come from a farm.
Update: we did get a phone call from the owner who said normally they can make vegetables with butter in a pan. Appreciate the follow up.
Expect a cozy spot with unique seating options and generous portions that'll keep you satisfied and coming back for more.

I ate here as a celiac who was just diagnosed 6 months prior. They have a lot of gluten free items on the menu so I asked how those would be prepared. I was told the corn tortillas and chips are cooked separately from the flour tortillas. I opted for the steak fajitas and asked for a glove change and just double checked about the corn tortillas. Was reassured they were cooked separately. After 2.5 hours I did not have a reaction

Casa Rio is utterly amazing!! You can taste the love they put in their food. My favorite is the seafood enchiladas. Other places use small diced pieces but not here! Big chunks of deliciousness!! The food is made from scratch down to to taco sauce. And yes you must get the award winning queso and margaritas. The queso is gluten free!! My favorite margarita is the El Rey. It's DTA's best hidden gem! You can tell the owner really cares and takes pride in his place. So worth checking out!!!!
Tasty spot near the airport with great flavors and a solid variety of options, perfect for a quick bite before your flight.

Came here specifically for the gluten free options for my coeliac daughter. Disappointed that the nachos are marked GF but actually cooked in the same oil with gluten ingredients. But happy that the waitress was aware and alerted us. There are other GF options - we had a shredded chicken bowl which was GF. Reasonably tasty and a good quick pre-flight meal.
With awesome chilaquiles and a better vibe than the usual spots, this place is a must-visit for tasty, satisfying meals.

I love Taco Libre! They have many gluten free options to choose from. In my opinion way better than Chipotle and Pancheros! For a limited time they are serving chilaquiles and they are fantastic! $11 for a really good sized order!

The food is fresh and tasty! I love that the salsas pack a nice bit of heat, the fillings are flavorful, and the portions are reasonable.
We ordered here for lunch. Our group is a bit tricky in that we have some plant based folks, some Gluten-free folks, allergies etc. The staff was knowledgeable about ingredients and offered great options. We were able to easy suit everyone's needs. It was a bit hit!
Thank you!
Great authentic food. Daughter and I are gluten intolerant and have had no issue with the food. Get the El Surco 18!!! Meal for 2. Paloma was good too.

I love this place, and their sister restaurant next door.
Everything here is delicious.
And the outdoor patio is large, and first come first serve.
I see lots of dates happening here, and lots of dogs on the patio.
Parking can get congested during peak times, so plan accordingly.
Gluten Free options!!

Great authentic food and great service. One of our party has Celiac and they were very careful to not cross contaminate. It wasn't very busy at the time... That's the only reason for 4/5 on atmosphere

Excellent food! A wide selection of vegetarian and nonvegetarian tacos (even gluten-free if you choose corn tortilla shells.)
They have live music several nights of the week. The restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesday.

Most attractive food I've seen and tasted in ages! The atmosphere was a bit rustic and loud but the food was so incredible and well put together that I didn't mind the noise from the other tables! Tap beers, elevated cuisine, fantastic (and huge) shakes, vegan and gluten-free options! The whole package. In warmer weather they seem to have a really nice outdoor seating area and seems dog friendly. Highly recommend!
My fave place to go for Taco Tuesday while at work in Downtown Saint Paul, hands down better than chipotle! Good Customer service and almost everything is gluten free! Love it
Went here for the first time since they opened and am glad I did. The food was awesome!!! We had Birria tacos and Birria Ramen. They also have a decent selection of gluten-free items !!
Miss the tasty tostadas and breakfast skillet, but still a solid spot with great prices and satisfying options.

I really wish they still had the tostadas from the dollar menu. Those were so delicious, and that corn shell was perfect for us gluten-free folk. Please bring back the tostada! I also miss the breakfast skillet. That was also another delicious gluten-free alternative I loved, that they've gotten rid of. Please bring back the breakfast skillet! Otherwise, I'm always happy with the food I get and better prices than most places.
The tacos here are amazing. I’ve done takeout here and dine in. They are fast and affordable. The service is wonderful! Above and beyond. The food is delicious and gluten free (or at least most of it I think). The parking is a bit weird, but not bad if you don’t mind walking 1 minute. It’s right near the lake and other shops you can visit after or before eating.
Get ready for a fun vibe and huge drinks, perfect for sharing, plus savory sizzling fajitas that hit the spot!

Super yummy Mexican food! I ordered a strawberry margarita (blended) which was HUGE, easily could have shared with my husband, but no complaints here :). I also ordered the steak and chicken fajitas with corn tortillas. My waiter was somewhat knowledgeable about what items were gluten free, items weren't marked on the menu though.
Being someone with Celiac Disease, the waitress took the extra time to go over menu items that were safe for me, and the cook was educated with gluten free, to avoid cross contamination so that i could enjoy my meal
My table was freshly disinfected before I was allowed to sit. My waiter was really efficient. have a gluten issue and my waiter was really knowledgeable about what I could and couldn't have. If I go back to that area I'll be sure to go back.
A reliable go-to for quick bites, known for its consistent quality and efficiency across all locations.

I go here because it's one of the only fast food drive throughs where I can get something somewhat gluten-free. I like that it's consistent, regardless of location. I've not ever had an issue with poor service or not getting what I ordered.
Manager on duty was a young girl with very short hair who's name I cant remember but was very knowledgable about all food preparation (gluten free) and was working hard. 10 out of 10.
