Really fabulous restaurant, with soooo many vegan options - worth noting that it's not actually a vegan restaurant and therefore some items are NOT VEGAN but everything is labelled on the menu. On the day of my visit I emailed ahead to ask if they could accommodate gluten free as well as no garlic / no onion and they assured me there would be no problem. Great selection of drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and a really relaxed friendly atmosphere. The vegan pizza I had was one of the best vegan pizzas I have ever tasted. I thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Lots of vegan and gluten free options, which is hard to find. The mushroom toasty was done perfectly and I could happily live on the iced strawberry matcha. They weren't lying when they said they had the best, gooey brownie. Definitely recommend a visit (or two).

I recently dined at Al Taglio Pizzeria in Surry Hills and was thoroughly impressed. The Margherita and Carbonara pizzas were both fantastic, featuring rich flavors and perfectly baked crusts. As someone who requires gluten-free options, I was delighted to find that their gluten-free pizza was the best I've ever had, with a crispy yet tender base and generous, flavorful toppings. Love this place. Their tiramisu and cakes are super tasty. Plus if you’re coeliac or gluten intolerant - you have to try this place, their gluten free range is amazing! Not just tiramisu but also cake options (I love the tres leches cake). I often place cake orders that need to cater for coeliacs, either for work or with friends, and you wouldn’t be able to tell at all that they’re gluten free. Not to mention the owner is so lovely and friendly!

I’m a coeliac, and I absolutely love this spot! Staff are so friendly and knowledgeable of coeliac disease and gluten free, I feel very comfortable eating here. Eating out can often be so isolating when you have a dietary requirement, and you’re often confined to just getting a drink, or something really plain, but not at Four Ate Five! The menu isn’t clearly labelled with allergens, however upon speaking with staff, many of the options are gluten free or can be made gluten free. I ordered the Shakshuka and advised I was coeliac, and staff confirmed they could make it gluten free by swapping out the gluten bread side for gluten free bread, and would take extra measures to reduce cross contamination with the toaster. Obviously there is still an element of risk as a coeliac, as it’s not an entirely gluten free kitchen, but I feel fine each time, and confident in the staff and kitchen. The juices are also delicious and freshly squeezed. I absolutely love this spot, and will continue to take visiting family, friends and loved ones here, to enjoy an amazing meal together.

Delicious food. Friendly service. Great ambience. For a group of 8 we had the banquet and had more than enough, with leftovers to take away. Added bonus, we were confident they understood what "coeliac" was, with a dedicated fryer and prep space! Oh...and really good cocktails too! We will definitely return.

Came here for lunch recently and enjoyed it. The pizza was tasty, but the tomato sauce was really watery and had almost zero flavour. The toppings were tasty though. The gluten free base was also very good.

I went for mother's day, and I am in a family with 3 coeliacs and 1 nut allergy. Armorica staff was so accommodating. They have a separate fryer (yes, you can enjoy the fries) and service was perfect! We ordered the market fish tartare, all three fish options, the sirloin and pretty much every side dish on the menu. Everything was very well balanced. Overall a pleasant experience and I would 100% come back to try some of their other things.

You can’t go wrong with Crust. It’s a premium place with heaps of toppings. Gluten free pizza is excellent! If you are looking for an Italian style pizza, this is not for you. However, I can’t say how the other two pizza places next door compare.

Despite the sign when you enter, No Chili, No Garlic, No Dairy, No Onion (which might deter some), the dishes here are bursting with delicious flavors that even non-vegans like me can appreciate. Some options are also gluten-free. The star of the show is undoubtedly the Pho, available in various varieties, each one a delight. You won't be disappointed. The spring rolls and salads equally impressive. What sets Hạnh Phúc apart is not just the food, but the genuine hospitality extended by the owner. From the moment you walk in, you're made to feel like family, and this warmth carries through to every aspect of your dining experience. The owner's kindness knows no bounds, and ensure you leave with a smile on your face. Despite the high quality of the food and service, the prices at Hạnh Phúc Vegan are surprisingly affordable, making it accessible to all. In fact, the owner's generosity often extends to throwing in a little something extra with your meal, ensuring that you feel valued as a customer. One aspect worth noting, go to the bathroom. It may seem like an odd inclusion in a review but trust me when I say it's a “Cu Chi” tunnel experience. Even better is they are very educated with allergens ( I have Celiac's disease), and they took it seriously. It's a professional, trendy, yet welcoming space. This may be the best sushi place in Sydney - always fresh and wonderful food. I’ve loved it over the years, and it’s a great Surry staple. However: - They have severely restricted their roll menu and most of their rolls are now filled with cooked or fried fish rather than fresh sushi, feels a bit pandering. - Whenever I go, I get conflicting information on whether the Miso Soup, Tacos, and Honey Prawns can be modified to be gluten free or not, makes me unsure if I can trust the establishment and, given I cannot have gluten, it makes me really nervous about ordering this items which leaves a pretty limited menu given how much is fried on their menu.

So so impressed! Absolutely recommend Arthur to everyone, worth every penny. The service is also phenomenal. As someone with Coeliac (GF diet) they were so accommodating and took great care preparing my dishes. The food is so delicious and the ambience is beautiful. This is a new favourite for me.

Visited for the first time on new years day. Staff were super friendly and greeted us with a smile and a ‘happy new year’ greeting which was nice. We sat near the window and ordered via the QR code on the table. We both enjoyed the pita breads (gluten free and wholemeal low carb pita) & dips (tzatziki and eggplant). We will return here for another meal when in the area again. They are located only a short walk from Central station on the Woolworths side.

We dined at Cicerone last night as a group of seven, including one friend with coeliac disease. While the food itself was enjoyable, the overall experience was disappointing- especially in terms of accommodating dietary requirements. When booking over the phone, I specifically mentioned that we had a coeliac in our group. The restaurant informed me that they only offer gluten-free pasta, which was fine, but they failed to mention that she would still be required to pay the full $69 feast menu price, even though all she could eat was a single bowl of pasta. Due to our group size, we were required to do the feast menu. However, when we arrived, we asked if our coeliac friend could order separately from the à la carte menu while the rest of us had the feast, but this was refused. When we raised our concerns with the waiter, the manager came over, but rather than being understanding, they were quite rude and dismissive. While the food was nice, the lack of flexibility and poor customer service left a bad impression. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant for groups, especially if anyone in your party has dietary restrictions.

If you really want to feed 5 plus mouths and the politcians who own your household are unreasonably hiking up the rent, look no further than good ole Dominos Sure, they lost their way for a bit, but don’t we all? You’ve got options, you’ve got an app, you’ve got vegan, gluten free, and you’ve even got that 90s garlic bread wrapped in foil - yep, that one that is probably more cake than savoury dish. Thanks for being who you are Dominos. Don’t go changing, or trying too hard, you’re perfect who you are.

Sweet and cosy cafe with high quality food, beverages and amazing customer service. The staff provided us with a blanket when it was chilly outside, and answered all of our questions about the food, including whether items were gluten free, as one of us is coeliac. They even pulled up an extra chair for our little pup at our outdoor table, which was very kind. When it started pouring down with rain, they invited us inside and set up a table for us to keep dry. We are in love with this place after stumbling across it today, and will definitely be back!
