So good!! I am celiac which means I am gluten-free and I must also avoid cross contamination. This restaurant not only served me fries from a dedicated fryer, but I also enjoyed the crispiest, most delicious roasted chicken I have had in a long time. Cashier was knowledgeable about celiac, and they changed their gloves and everything while preparing my meal. Also, good prices compared to other restaurants in the area. Wonderful! Would definitely recommend not just for celiacs but anyone who wants a delicious meal.
Enjoy fresh and unique flavors with healthy options and made-to-order juices that make every visit a tasty treat.

As usual the food is fresh, healthy and fantastic. If you're looking for gluten free sandwiches, they have the bread. Juices are juiced right in front of you so you know it's fresh.
Experience a cozy vibe with authentic Italian recipes and rave-worthy dishes that keep everyone coming back for more.

Gf Pasta is cooked in the same water as regular pasta- it is NOT safe for those with Celiac Disease. We asked the server who doubled checked with the chef. They refused to separate. Do NOT recommend. Why even have Gf pasta. Zero stars if I could for service. The restaurant looks cute if you don’t have dietary restrictions, but if you have any medical issues with food I would avoid.

I had a really good black bean and beet burger. Now, it was slightly soft in my opinion but still very tasty and they even had a gluten-free bun! Win! The Japanese purple potato salad was amazing I will be getting some to take on the flight home. We'll done Down to Earth!

Our waitress was attentive! Great food, Lots of new opinions since our last visit. Was able to order cauliflower crust and gluten free crust for members in our party! Would return!
Excellent food and service. The waiter was very knowledgeable about allergies and they were able to accommodate gluten sensitivity / Celiac requirements.
Very accommodating to my gluten allergy and made us special rolls tailored to what I could have. Granted they were past their dinner rush but very much appreciated and delicious!
Unique buckwheat crepes steal the show here, along with flavorful options and fun seating that makes every visit special.

The crepe was super good with lots of flavor! They even had gluten free buckwheat which was really yummy! Staff were kind and helpful. Those big chairs were fun to sit in! 😊
Expect a cozy vibe with a wait time around 30 minutes, but you can grab a seat at the bar instantly. Drinks seem fun and the kids' menu is a hit too!

Wow, one of the best pieces of fish I have had in a long time. I love that this restaurant marks the menu for what can be gluten-free. I had the Furikaki pan seared ahi with double veggies - no rice. The meal was perfect, and our server was amazing. After a day of snorkeling, it was just what I needed. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone.

I love this little booth at the farmer’s market! I am celiac and their amazing mochi waffles are safe for me to eat!! The texture and flavor of the mochi waffles are perfect. Not too chewy, not too flat, just right!! I love their mac nut and banana topping which is beautifully presented with an edible flower! My dad loves the sourdough waffle with fresh berries. They have a vegan/gf which we have not tried. I really appreciate how friendly and conscientious the staff is. They all take care and exude aloha!!
Was a busy, noisy, happy Mexican restaurant with surprisingly good food. Good menu selection and plenty of gluten free options. Decent Mexican food is hard to find in Hawaii, we will be back.
I have celiac disease and the paleo option is safe. I have had no issues and the food is tasty with delicious spices. The food is not sweet or fake tasting like some store bought gluten free options.
I can't say enough how great everything I at Cinnamon's. Very friendly service, great plating and food. Although most foods had some gluten component, they were very accommodating and easily adapted the Eggs Benedict with Smoked Salmon to be gluten free. It was the best Benedict I've had in years.
They have a ton of gluten free options. They do give pita bread with salads but it is in a separate bag and doesn’t touch the food. I’m sure you can ask for none (I always just gave it to my family members lmao)
It was so nice to be out and be served by enthusiastic staff sharing space with others. It feels like it has been forever since we have done so. We have been to Formaggios several times and always enjoyed our experience, thus decided to return. Menu and wine list are severely curtailed but the remaining selections are interesting and well prepared. The Caesar was really yummy and ahi extremely well prepared. In light of great unknowns (how many diners, rules of the day, available supplies, how to staff, etc) we greatly appreciate their efforts to provide a good dining experience.
You go out for noise, fellowship, excitement and good food. These days it's about good food and interacting with someone other than your spouse. Mission accomplished!
We gave them a 4 star because I am a gluten-free eater and there were few options. I should have called the day before, know they would have been able to modify several items. Will be sure to do so when we return.
Love the style. Fun to take friends.
Fun to watch first timers.
People are super friendly. We had a no gluten person in our party and they made sure to get special gluten free foods and pointed out on other plate what he couldnt eat.
Eaten there before and will again.

If you're in Kailua and looking for a breakfast experience that combines the best of local flavors and classic breakfast fare, Moke's Bread & Breakfast should be on your radar. Nestled in the heart of Kailua, this cozy establishment offers a delightful and homely atmosphere that makes you feel like part of the 'ohana (family) as soon as you walk in.
The star attraction here is undoubtedly the lilikoi pancakes—fluffy, buttery pancakes topped with a bright, tangy passionfruit sauce that will make you question why you ever settled for plain old maple syrup. If pancakes aren't your thing, fret not; the menu offers a wide range of choices, from hearty omelettes packed with local ingredients to the satisfying loco moco.
Portion sizes are generous, ensuring that you won't leave hungry. The freshness of the ingredients is evident in every bite, and it's clear that the kitchen pays attention to detail. Vegetarians and gluten-free diners will also find options here, making it a versatile choice for groups.
Service is another area where Moke's shines. Staff are warm and welcoming, making the experience feel more like a family gathering than a restaurant visit. Even during busy periods, they manage to keep things moving efficiently while maintaining their friendly demeanor.
That being said, the popularity of Moke's can also be a drawback. Wait times, especially on weekends or holidays, can be quite long, so be prepared for that. While the restaurant has done its best to create a cozy atmosphere, the dining space is relatively small, and it can get noisy when full.
Overall, Moke's Bread & Breakfast provides a satisfying and authentically Hawaiian dining experience. Despite the potential for long waits and a crowded dining area, the outstanding food and exceptional service make it a must-visit when you're in Kailua.
Once the 'sandwich artist' told this senior they still sold veggie sub ( wasn't on their billboard) had 2 great FL sandwiches! Can't wait for gluten-free roll/wrap to be offered... then 5 stars.
Very similar to the setup of Chipotle.
Name meaning " Hawaiian Cowboy".
They serve Hispanic food.
The meat is 100% local as w the produce.
The food is ALL made from scratch in the kitchen. No canned or pre cooked beans. Ais gluten -FREE)
The Owner and manager are LOVELY people, along w all the employees that I encountered!!
Aloha and Mahalo for the wonderful experience.
Wonderful food, so creative and delicious, using local ingredients!!!. My whole family looks forward to dining here every year on our annual visits to Hawaii. Service is always lovely and gracious, especially with my questions about choices for accomodating my celiac disease.
The selection of sustainably sourced, nutritious food at Uahi Island Grill is amazing! Their menu is an invitation to explore, take you time, all of their dishes are spectacular. One of my favorites is the red fish curry with the papaya salad on top and their haupia (coconut) sweet potato gluten free cake, delicious! Uahi Island Grill is also a community supporter!
A very big Mahalo nui loa to the generous staff of Uahi Island Grill from the

Wow! This vegan food is absolutely amazing! My MIL had them cater a family event and the food was so good! They made everything gluten free/vegan and it was so flavorful and delicious. Everyone at the party was asking where the vegan food was from. Highly recommend and will definitely be back for more!

We were here December 2021, a random stop-by as we were driving around Oahu. My wife is celiac and needed a gluten-free lunch; the person at the counter really didn't know what gluten-free meant, but she was able to work with my wife to figure out what on their menu had wheat and what didn't, and through this the counter person figured out an excellent lunch (a piece of ahi and a side dish that I don't recall) that my wife really enjoyed. And I had the garlic chicken, which was fantastic. Great little place! I'm so glad we found it, and kudos to the counter person that day, she was SO helpful and she knew the food and the menu. Great job!
Consistently good service & food. Good vegetarian options as well as gluten free. Extensive menu compared to other Italian restaurants on Oahu.
Lots of parking.
You’ll want to make reservations if you plan on going at a popular dinner time as they get busy.
I'm celiac and this is my favourite place because they have so many delicious gluten free options! They also always label everything GF on the boxes and its super easy to make GF when ordering online. Highly recommend.
A top spot on the island known for its sizable açaí bowls, eco-friendly practices, and a quirky rewards system that could use some improvement.

Favorite place on the island for açaí bowls! Great quality, size and options. The granola is gluten free (yay!) and no added sugars to the açaí bowl.
I appreciate being able to bring in my own container to reduce waste. Thank you!
The prices on the menu aren’t accurate, which would be my only heads up. Also parking can be tough. Oh, and the rewards system doesn’t work too well - ate 75 points as I accidentally clicked “redeem” but never got to use them. Oh well.
