Soooooo good!! Highly recommend whether you need to eat gluten free or not! Super fresh, hot & fantastic tasting gluten free Chinese food. It's better than any "regular" Chinese food I'd had prior to being diagnosed celiac. Everything we tried was delicious - fried rice, chop suey, chicken balls, general tao chicken, etc. but my favourite was the honey garlic pork. Everything was so good we ordered more food for takeout to go along with our leftovers from dinner. Also a great selection of frozen items. It was well worth the hour & a half drive for us to get there & we'll definitely make the trip to get there a few times a year!

Ben and Naomi have put together easily one of the best cafes I've ever been to. I only visited twice while in Montreal, but I left feeling like I was a regular. As a celiac, I was almost glutened here. When I asked a server if the beer was gluten free, I was told everything on the menu was. But when my lager arrived, the bottle listed barley. I double checked with another server, who confirmed it wasn’t gluten free, apologized, and kindly brought me a quinoa-based beer instead (which was good, just a little warm).
I don’t want to be too harsh. Overall, the food was great, and it’s such a gift to have a spot where I can enjoy a tres leches cake without fear. But this experience is a good reminder to always double check, even in places that seem safe. It also highlights how important it is for all staff to be fully trained on gluten and allergens.
