The one and only place I trust for gluten free options. The Whole menu is GF with vegan and dairy free options. I have had almost everything on the menu at this point. Never disappointed never a reaction. I bring all my friends C/Gf or not and they love it. The Pickle chips, caprese avo toast and popcorn chicken with AZ hot honey is my recommendation. I would also suggest a cinnamon roll and or a cupcake as a treat to take home with you.

Absolutely the best gluten-free breads I’ve ever had. Whether I’m in the mood for their incredible pizza or just stopping by to pick up fresh breads and desserts, this place never disappoints. As someone who’s gluten-free, it’s a joy to find somewhere that gets the taste and texture just right. Always worth the visit! ♥️

We really loved it!!! The shrimp Po'boy was really good, the 3 egg omelet with avocado mesh was delicious and the Falafel was amazing!!! I wish there was a dine-in option. Finding a 100% Gluten free place is tough. Wheat End Cafe is doing a great job, serving real food and not just pastries. We will come back for sure.

Super friendly staff and really awesome gluten free food options. Came in around 9am today on 06/23/25 and got two breakfast sandwich’s and the chicken tender appetizer. First time I’ve eaten out since I developed a severe gluten allergy over a year ago. That breakfast sandwich and those chicken tenders are a must try! :) loved the BBQ sauce.

Everything so far has been great but the best thing on the menu is the cinnamon roll. Even my friends and family that can eat gluten prefer the cinnamon rolls made here. Just don't get the coffee it's over priced. Even with that 5 stars.

Amazing gluten free bakery with THE BEST gluten free chocolate croissant outside of Paris! Every time I go to DC I stop here for treats. I appreciate they also have real food options (breakfast sandwiches & avocado toasts) and have some vegan options. The only point off they would get from me is that the building is not accessible (has stairs and not other entry). Definitely recommend stopping in!

My sisters who are gluten free had their jaws to the floor with how many wonderful options they had here. Literally there jaws were to the floor. It was hard to have them eat after because they both had them stuck down there. It was a little embarrassing. The food was great! As someone who can eat gluten, you hardly missed it. Organic, quality food with variety! Such a wonderful find that aligns in so many areas of health. A healthy place that also offers animal protein is a rare find & this place is such a gem! Putting it on our short list of edible restaurants in the Portland area! From drinks to food, I will have to be back to try more menu items as there were so many amazing choices. Side note- some other people in our group tried to bring outside food indoors to eat but were redirected outside to eat on the patio as they are a gluten-free establishment. They were so kind & I respect this action so much. The staff was friendly & the atmosphere was welcoming. The plants throughout the restaurant were vibrant & well taken care of. Such a find! Will be back for sure!

Over all the place looks kind of like a dive, almost didn't go in. Their items are kept in a freezer so be aware if you want something fresh now! I got lucky, they had maybe 5 single items out for sale. Was thrilled to see they have gluten free & vegan together in a few items. I had a chocolate cupcake, nothing special just okay, frosting melted fast & weird, but it was moist. The coconut cupcake had a different type of frosting that held better and was to die for!! Once again moist but also decadent in flavor. Cupcakes are small/average size and cost me a total of $9 for the two! Glad I found a yummy treat but not sure about going back for that price.

This was my first time trying this place . It was so good , I haven't found gluten free bread that I have liked and it was a great addition to the smoked burger I got . The smashed potatoes and brussel sprouts were so yummy . It was great to feel like i was eating normal again , they have taken barbecue and made it healthy, gluten free and Delicious. My family enjoyed the pork sandwiches and couldn't tell it was gluten free . So happy to have tried this new place and will be back for sure

The pastries and sweets are so, so good. Had the cinnamon bun, chocolate chip muffins, banana bread, and zucchini bread. All amazing. Highly recommend if you have gluten allergies. Best cinnamon roll I’ve ever had, GF or not.

Stopped in for an iced coffee (which friends have raved about) and it did not disappoint! This place is truly a gem! The staff and owner are so welcoming, friendly, and helpful, offering recommendations/suggestions and answering all your questions. Just a warm and wonderful atmosphere all around. They helped pick out treats for me and my gluten-free coworker, and the pastries they suggested were delicious! The coffee is definitely a must for those needing a steady buzz to get them through the day. Highly recommend this place even for those who don't follow a keto lifestyle. They even have keto-friendly ice cream, which I'll definitely be sampling next time around. Looking forward to returning to this lovely bakery soon. Definitely check it out if you haven't already!!

Seriously this was the best gluten free stuff I have ever had. I’ve recently been diagnosed with celiac and have struggled to find a bread I enjoy. I came here for challah but left with sour dough bread, cookies, a bagel, cake and banana bread. The owner was so sweet and everyone who worked there was so nice. They have samples of everything. I went with my dad who is not gluten free and he loved it all!

The best part about this place is the service- if you’re in the mood for a friendly chat. You can tell this place is deeply cared for, but this place is only good if you are gluten-free and have to be. I’m vegetarian was vegan 7 years have eaten food like this from all over the country and world. There’s tons of options but everything is tasteless or bad to me here.I tried the vegan/gluten-free biscuit and a cake and wow. Just not for me. I think vegan and gluten-free people are more generous with their reviews because there are less places like this. I don’t mean to be sour, but I just won’t be coming back myself.

This is the only safe place to eat if you have any sort of allergy or intolerance to gluten. There is never any cross-contamination and the food is always absolutely delicious. The brownies and cinnamon roll cake are my favorite but you can't forget the paninis. Ms Donna is kind and will take care of you no matter what

Came here with my son who is also gluten intolerant so we could enjoy a special treat, and it didn’t disappoint! He got cinnamon rolls, a chocolate chip cookie and a brownie, and loved all of them. I went for a lemon bar the almond poppyseed bread 🤤. SO delicious!! So nice to walk into a place and order whatever makes your heart happy, definitely worth a stop.

Just checked this place out last week. Needed a shift in diet for health reasons and grabbed a little bit of everything they had to offer. The cookies are SO good and the bread is better than anything you'll find in the gluten-free section of a grocery store. I appreciate this store for existing and everyone who contributes to it.

Always a great experience. Surreal to go into a bakery & not have to mention gluten or Celiac at all. No matter what time of day it is - I grab a fresh bacon, egg, & cheese on an english muffin - with a cinnamon bun to take home. 10/10 highly recommend. Willing to drive over 30 minutes to visit.

Discovered this place on Tik Tok by a previous guest. Placed this on my must do - to do list to come to when adventuring on my 10 day Oregon roadtrip. Very hard to find places that are “true healthy” restaurants when traveling. Stopped in solo 5-30-25 post breakfast hours but before lunch. Was greeted by Cash - SO NICE, great personality!!!! suggestions were made but ultimately I decided to have the Vegan “tuna” chickpea salad sandwich. I had already had breakfast but wanted a light lunch before going hiking. (Had kitchen cut in half for me to take remainder on my hike). Loved the bread (almost sure and hoping it was gluten free) that was toasted lightly but not so hard it was like a crouton. The side soup was a vegetable type soup. Wow! Seasonings were on point with the sandwich and the soup. Bathroom was clean. ONLY THING that had me sad was no souvenir sticker. I travel all over the US frequently and enjoy collecting stickers. I don’t need cups, shirts when traveling. Please consider getting stickers. If I ever come back to Portland area. Hands down you will have a repeat customer coming back. Thank you!!

Everything was incredible, to say the least! My friends and I joke that I’m a human gluten detector. Within minutes of eating something, I can tell if it’s been compromised. So I’ve been watching the reviews roll in, waiting for the right moment to try this place out. This morning I woke up early, was hungry, and decided today was the day. I was not disappointed. Finally, a real bagel I don’t have to travel into the city for. Thank you! I love NYC, but going all that way just for a bagel is an exhausting mission. Also, I can’t forget to mention their incredible selection of gluten free desserts / pastries! I ordered an everything bagel with cream cheese w/ lox. I usually ask for it toasted, but when they’re fresh, there’s no need. I got there early enough to enjoy it at its best. I also grabbed a gluten free, dairy free dessert that was truly delightful. I feasted the second I got home, so apologies…no pictures. Despite what social media might suggest, the phone does not always eat first in my house, haha. Elliot, thank you for the warm welcome and for making me feel completely at ease. Your confidence and pride in the gluten free offerings was so reassuring and made me all the more excited to dig in. I’m so glad I finally stopped by and I can’t wait to become a regular. Thank you for caring so well for those of us with allergies and sensitivities. May you always be blessed in abundance.
