We had a superb dinner at Lemongrass last night. Our waitress, Ayu was super friendly and very helpful and knowledgeable about what I could order being coeliac. We had the chicken satay, pad Thai, green curry and fried rice, and every dish was amazing. The best Pad Thai I’ve ever eaten, even better than in Thailand. The green curry was also so tasty, we loved every bit of our meal. Better yet, we left feeling great, even though we were full the meal was not super heavy and no gluten reactions whatsoever. I was put at ease with their great knowledge of gluten free and ensuring there was no cross contamination. I can not recommend Lemongrass highly enough! Thank you, from Megan.

We were really disappointed with our experience at Gooseberry. The portion sizes were very small and unfortunately lacked flavor. We ordered three mains and three sides, as the mains didn’t come with anything—yet even the sides were tiny. Despite ordering quite a bit, we left still hungry and had to go to another restaurant afterwards just to feel satisfied. The tastiest thing we ordered was the cheeseburger, but even that came with its own issue—they weren’t able to swap the bun for their gluten-free bread, which was really disappointing for anyone with dietary needs. For the price, we expected much better value and a more accommodating experience.

Had the gluten free fettucine with seafood pomodoro — AMAZING! Good gluten free pasta is hard to find but this was really a treat. Spoke to the owner and a lot of the Italian goods are house-made… delicious! My mom had the octopus and we also had some cocktails, everything was great. The pool space and atmosphere is also lovely. A must visit in nusa penida!

As close to Italy as you can get in Bali. We had starters, main, and desserts. The Italian wine was just great. They have gluten free pasta as well and it was so good! I can really recommend this place. The owner was very friendly and the staff were very service minded and friendly.

Our dinner at Arcadia was superb! We had prawn dumplings, the pork belly and the aged duck breast and everything was cooked to perfection. We also really loved the unexpected amuse bouche that were served between courses, and the staff were able to accommodate our gluten free diner with ease. The staff were incredibly friendly and the service was second to none. Thank you for the incredible dinner!

The gluten free bread is so good I got genuinely worried (rest assured it’s all safe!!) ! The hummus appetiser and the tuna poke bowl were so good my family and I returned three days in a row. I’ve eaten a lot of hummus and tuna in my time and never have either reached that level of delightful.

Everything about our experience was 10/10. There’s valet parking for your bike and you’re immediately greeted at the door by a server. The service is faultless! The restaurant itself is moody and intimate and the food was delicious and super fresh. They also brought out a separate gluten free menu for us which was really appreciated.

The menu is a mix of asian and south-east asian, with some of the most known dishes rivisited with the local ingredients. You can order a gin&tonic and pick your gin from an impressive collection (they even have a separate gin&tonic menu), out in display on the shelves behind the bar 🍸 Thumbs up to the staff, friendly and competent and well aware of food allergies (they seem to understand well gluten allergy). A minor thing: I just wish they left the plates and glasses on the table a couple of minutes after we finished, sometimes they came to pick them up and I was still chewing on my last bite 😄

Overall the place it quite okay, the coffee is good, the chai latte was amazing, they have gluten-free bread and it is delicious. But the eggs were quite average and to me and quite overpriced for what you get. You won't leave hungry, the staff is nice, but the general vibe felt like... meh. Too stuck up to my taste to be a "casual diner".

Not only did they cater my wedding and do a phenomenal job, but the experience on site was one we have been bragging to everyone about. Their food is dreamy. They were able to cater to my gluten free and dairy free needs. The cocktail program is top notch. The service was quick and attentive. Tucker is such a hidden gem in Canggu. Just down the road from my Homestay, they offer regular as well as delicious gluten-free bread with their sandwiches. I had the Mr. Pacino sandwich and I devoured it. Lovely service and overlooking lush Balinese greenery. Highly recommend.

This place does not disappoint. They were able to accommodate a 4 top in just minutes without a reservation. I’ve been here 2x now and the meat is consistently high quality and cooked well. The beef was grass fed, the fish was wild caught. The bartender was so helpful, letting me taste between 2 different wines to get the right one for my meal. The server was great as well, informing me of what was gluten free. They offered a large chalk board menu of the cuts of meat they had to offer and a cut board showing the selections of the evening.

I would come back to Bali to eat here again. We had a side of delicious-looking fries that I didn't even look at until every other speck of food on the table was gone. The berry and citrus cocktail knocked my socks off. They were a bit perplexed by coeliacs, but very accommodating and proactive once they understood, even checking about the fry oil and the corn flour in the pavlova.

I have had a fantastic time staying here at the Aston. The staff are amazing and so attentive to all needs. I am gluten-free and they assured that I had gluten-free breakfast every morning. We had an incident when we first came that the room was a little noisy, they moved us the next day and we’ve been very happy ever since Constant checking in that we’re okay would highly recommend.

Amazing Japanese Food & Exceptional Service! I was craving ramen while in Ubud, but being gluten-free, I knew it wouldn’t be easy to find. However, KYOKA went above and beyond to accommodate my needs! They made all the necessary adjustments to the soup, allowing me to enjoy a delicious, low-gluten ramen without compromising on flavor. The staff were incredibly welcoming and caring, ensuring that everything was perfect for my dietary needs. A group of us had an afternoon tea at Intercontinental and we can choose to have it at the Lobby Lounge or Pier Eight. We chose Pier Eight. It's a long walk to Pier Eight from the lobby. The setting is nice, pretty spread out so we can relax and chat without bothering anyone and vice versa. The drink order came pretty quickly but the food took a long while. The presentation of the food was very nice and the food tasted good - a few savoury (rice paper roll, a meat dish, etc) and sweet food (scone, a tart, chocolate cake, etc). Unfortunately for me, I require gluten free and there was no sweet food at all on mine. What a disappointment, I was looking forward to have a gluten free scone and a cake or two, but got none. The staff was friendly. The view was wonderful.

Hotel Komune is a must see!! The staff were all so friendly and helpful. The food was all so delicious and nutritious with many plant based, vegan and gluten free options, the health hub was my favourite, ( try the coconut pancakes with sorbet!! YUM!! ) I also loved that they have an adults only pool for those who want to relax and unwind with a book. The yoga space over the beach was the perfect way to wake up every morning, AND I was even able to get some weight training in at the gym onsite. The spa services were a wonderful way to finish the day with full body massages and scrubs, hair treatments and even blow waves. I could not recommend the Hotel Komune more. Thank you to all of the wonderful people who work here, I will be back again! ❤️
