i've been quite a few times but last night went with my family after my sister's graduation. i have celiac and our server (taylor i believe?) was superrrr informative and made sure i had all the info to decide what i wanted to eat & stay away from! clearly there's some really good server training going on.
food was delicious as always and we had a great time :)
Was in the area, and looked up gluten free options, and this place came up. When I walked in, I was able to sit at the bar (which had a ton of seats) and immediately got served by Leah, the amazing bartender working today. They had a ton of different burger options and had gluten free buns available, which can be hard to come by. The burger was made to order, and the one I got had an interesting flavor. It had a basil aoli, mushrooms, onions, and goat cheese (of all things). The bourbon based drink is ordered was tastefully made, and overall I enjoyed my experience. All of the staff were nice and attentive; you could tell that they all worked well together.

We make this a usual stop about once every 3 months. Service was far better this time than last. My wife has to be gluten free and she hasn't had any issues when eating here! The tacos are fantastic!
I’m gluten-free. Even though I’ve had the gluten-free pasta at this restaurant before, I was not in the mood for pasta. I understand that this restaurant has a lot of pasta options, but there are other options as well. For my meal, I asked for asparagus and lobster on top of mashed potatoes. When my meal came out, the lobster and asparagus was on top of pasta. I explicitly. stated that I did not want pasta. Despite this, I was asked if I wanted to keep the meal or wait for it to be remade. I chose to have it remade while I watched my husband eat his dish. Once the dish was corrected, I did enjoy it. However, I do wish this restaurant had more gluten-free options.
Amazing atmosphere with unique and stunning surrounds! Old shoe factory reclaimed for a great restaurant. Aside from the architectural feast, the food and service are outstanding!! Ordered the Jumbo Lobster and Crab Ravioli and ordered the zero-proof Tropical Dreamsicle. Delicious!! They were accommodating to both gluten allergies (I don't have) but also offer smaller portion menus for any anyone like seniors, kids, or bariatric patients with NO HASSLE!
So, as a person with Celiac, when I found this place, I was so excited. I have been going there for quite a bit of time. Sometimes, twice a week. Sadly, I will not continue going there or recommending it. When I come into a restaurant, which is very rare because of my Celiac, I don't want politics or a political agenda to hit me in the face. Today, there is a flag hanging behind the welcome desk that I do not believe in, and I am sure others would say the same. I know everyone is welcome to their own opinion, but I wonder if they would hang an American Flag or a Christian Flag as quickly behind their welcome desk? Like professional sports, restaurants should not use their restaurant as a political platform. It actually made me sad that one of the only places I can eat, is no longer a choice.
Can be busy, friendly staff! Many items labeled gluten free! Not a bad place for diabetics if you’re smart about carbs. All meat is excellent here! Pricey but worth the money! Be sure to get wine with steak 👍 👍
The coolest building. The atmosphere is something out a movie, very rich wood colors and comfortable lighting. We ate in one of the back rooms, our server was to the point and whitty—a true master of their craft.
We haven’t sat down for a real steak ever, mostly because of price. But St. Elmo justified every penny I spent, the cut was spectacular and I’d like to shout out their attentiveness to my fiancé’s gluten allergy. They were thorough and made sure she had a lovely dinner also.
Excited for many more visits !
Amazing dinner! Wait staff was so thoughtful and friendly. Our entire party enjoyed our meal. As someone with celiac, they were happy to oblige my dietary needs. For an Italian restaurant, I was so pleasantly surprised with all of the gluten free food options. The patio was also beautiful! I will 100% be back! Wonderful experience!
The food was excellent! I have a gluten allergy and there were so many gluten free options. The flavors of all the dishes we tried were just great! Will definitely go again!
We were in town to have dinner with daughter and her husband and their two high school children before we went to hear Dr. Tyson talk. The food was tasty the service was what made the evening so special. Took care of our people with gluten issues with the minimum of fanfare. It was the perfect place to have a meal with 3 generations in attendance. We had fun and everyone got their hearts desire to eat. Thank you all for making our meal together memorable.
Great tasting food and excellent service. We stopped here for dinner & drinks when they opened before a show at Old National and the service was super fast, made it to our show no problem!
They have a gluten free menu and no one got glutened, so safe for the celiacs out there (we informed them of the allergy & to please switch gloves).
The Tuesday night steak special is EXTREMELY popular. No surprise at $7. I had the cauliflower pizza (safest option for celiacs per the waitress). Despite being incredibly busy the waitress took great care of our group of a dozen or so.
We had an early dinner here on a weekend. We were the only table, so the service was prompt and attentive.
The interior was clean and tidy, with a contemporary look. The glass block wall between the two unisex restrooms, while textured, was not completely private.
We passed on the expensive appetizers. We ordered one Butter Chicken with Goat Cheese, medium spice level. I found this too sweet, almost reminded me of Campbell Tomato Soup. My partner said the goat cheese helped balance it out, but there was not enough cheese to balance out the whole dish. The chicken was a bit dry, and seemed to be all sliced chicken breasts.
Our other dish was Bihari Goat Curry, spicy. It was nice that all the goat dishes specifically said "bone-in" for those less experienced diners. This one could have had a fuller spice palette, though it was certainly hot enough. The goat was tender and flavorful, and the favorite for both of us. The basmati rice was delicious, fluffy and tender.
We had a tasty iced tea, and shared a Rasmalai for dessert which had a floral milk syrup and chopped pistachios, sweet and refreshing.
There were plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, as well as gluten-free dishes. They also have a lunch menu.
Stopped off the interstate. Looking for the drink to unwind and stumbled upon this bar. Pizzas look great. We tried the gluten-free crust. Surprisingly very good gluten free , cauliflower, crust... Also recommend the sausage (crumbled) topping on a pizza.. If you like a hundred cheese with your pizza, basil has the seasoning in your sauce, and high quality ingredients, you'll love the pizza too.
317 Burger is hands down one of the best burger spots in Indianapolis, especially if you're looking for delicious gluten-free options! As someone who has to avoid gluten, it can be hard to find places that truly cater to those needs, but 317 Burger goes above and beyond.
Their gluten-free buns are amazing--soft, flavorful, and hold up well with their juicy, flavorful burgers. The menu offers plenty of gluten-free options beyond just the burgers, too. I was thrilled to see that their fries and other sides can be made gluten-free, so I didn't feel like I was missing out on anything.
The atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming, making it the perfect spot for a casual meal with friends or family. The staff was incredibly accommodating and knowledgeable about gluten allergies, which made me feel comfortable and confident in my meal choice.
If you're gluten-free and craving a fantastic burger, 317 Burger is the place to go! I'll definitely be back again and again.
It was a good Thai restaurant overall! Sadly the waitress was slammed in beginning with 2 big parties at once so we waited for a bit. The restroom needs better lighting but everything was clean. The fried spring rolls were great!! Especially for someone who is celiac gluten free!
I honestly don’t understand how this place has a 4.5-star rating. The pizza was incredibly underwhelming—definitely not the “fire” experience some reviews suggest. It’s overpriced for the quality, and the service left much to be desired.
We ordered a sausage and pepperoni calzone, and it was disappointing. The dough was under-cooked, making it doughy and unpleasant to eat. After just a few bites, we had to stop—it was that bad. We also tried the 8" deep dish pepperoni and cheese pizza. Unfortunately, it was loaded with an excessive amount of cheese that wasn’t even fully melted. The texture was off, and the whole thing just felt heavy and sloppy.
I opted to try the gluten-free cauliflower crust pizza, hoping for a better experience, but again, I was let down. The cheese wasn’t fully melted, and the crust was burnt on the bottom—clearly not checked before being served.
The restaurant itself needs serious attention. It wasn’t busy when we visited, so there’s really no excuse for how dirty it was. The floors and tables were sticky, and it looked like no one had cleaned in a while. Staff seemed more focused on their phones than on the guests, and it showed in the lack of attentiveness.
As for the bathrooms—absolutely disgusting. They looked like they hadn’t been properly cleaned or maintained in ages. Honestly, I’ve seen cleaner restrooms at truck stops. They need to be gutted and redone entirely.
Save yourself the trip and try somewhere else. If you want to taste real pizza, head to St. Louis. Even a basic chain like Pizza Hut would’ve been a better choice than this place.
Mesh is yet another Cunningham restaurant with excellent food, service, and ambiance. Had the coravina and peanut butter pie, both of which were exquisite. The coravina was a delightful blend of curry, pineapple, and coconut flavors balanced with savory and perfectly fried rice and roasted carrots. The peanut butter pie also was delicious, and the heavy flavor of the peanut butter was well balanced with cream. I also appreciate their range of gluten-free , vegetarian, and vegan options. Will definitely be coming here again!
Placed a $400 catering order for an executive staff meeting. The delivery was on time, packaged well, and the catering manager was so lovely. We got a taco bar, a few sides, chips and dips, and desserts. All fantastic. The portion sizes were wonderful and the quality of food was great. I had senior staff coming to find me to ask where it was from and say it was delicious. Worked out great to ensure my vegetarian and gluten free staff members could easily eat.
Decent experience. Went for lunch and seemed like most of the crowd were seniors. No problem with that, just surprised me. Food was decent, but a little challenging to eat gluten free. But they’ll help you figure it out. You just have limited options.
I was happy to see that there was a completely separate menu for gluten allergies. However, despite an extensive conversation with the waitress about my allergy, and the menu, and having the separate menu in front of me, I was still served gluten. My bad for trusting how obvious it was that I have an allergy.
Please don’t fire the waitress, she felt terrible. I’m gladly not going to die from it, but it’s sure going to suck. If you have an allergy, I guess repeat it over and over and over. Being annoying is the only way to eat out safely.
They are able to make most dishes gluten free and are always accommodating to my celiac disease. This is a regular restaurant for our family and I’ve never gotten sick!
Great service and helped me get a salad without dairy and gluten . The menu wasn't really accommodating towards allergies or vegan diet , but server was great .

I just loved this place. Sadly I don’t live near here, we were just passing through for the holidays. But this place is so cool.
The food was amazing, so flavorful and reasonable prices for being healthy. Dairy free options, vegan options, and gluten free. I got the rainbow salad with this amazing salad dressing I think they make there, I just loved it.
The employees were very nice and helpful, I kept having to ask questions, but they still remained kind!
My only complaint is that they Don’t have a phone number to call. I had to call the rock wall company that it’s in the building to ask about the cafe.
This restaurant is consistently great! The food quality is high, the atmosphere is unique, and the staff is always friendly and knowledgeable.
This is another safe place for my wife with food allergies and celiac disease to enjoy great-tasting and healthy food. The same people who own Divvy (also Amazing!!) also own the library. That means excellent-tasting food worth every penny you pay to eat here.
I love the Library for business meetings or gathering with friends. They also have a great outdoor space to enjoy when the weather is nicer. I look forward to Summer meals there soon.
My husband and I dined here for dinner and will definitely be back! First off, our waiter was so nice and attentive and communicated with us so well throughout the meal, on how much time it would be, etc. We started with the Gluten (bread) plate and Brussels and Burrata (which comes served over polenta), and hands down the brussels are the best appetizer I've ever had. Then, I had the flat iron which was cooked perfectly and had tons of flavor. My husband had the Short Rib Spacatelli which was also incredible and had plenty of meat with handmade pasta. We finished with the chocolate pot de creme and there wasn't a drop left, it was so delicious. Definitely a great experience all around!
The food and wine selection are fantastic. The entree choices leave something to be desired for vegetarians, I had one option available to me. The do support gluten free patrons as well.
Local gem for great burgers in Greenwood area. The only complaint was how greasy the burger was. My bun and tray were soaked. Otherwise, they have a build your own burger menu which had plenty of adventurous options. They have gluten free buns! The Pub Chips were okay, but loaded tots were excellent. Will be returning for another experience.
I have only been twice but both times, the food was good and the people were very nice. They offer vegan, gluten free, vegetarian, and carnivore options as well as fresh juices. The atmosphere is really chill with reggae music playing in the background. The place itself has indoor and outdoor patio seating as well as a place located behind the restaurant where there is a stage for live music, outdoor games, hammocks, and firepits. It's definitely a vibe.
Note: this location does not have gluten free options. There is a review on the Indianapolis location that states GF options. However, this is not true for this location, sadly. I came here specifically from seeing that review super excited to have a burger and fries that were celiac friendly.. the server was incredible and continued to create a great experience for us regardless of us having to leave but just a little tip for folks seeing that review!
Delicious! Husband said that the cheeseburger was great! French fries were seasoned to perfection! Loved the drunken chicken with rice and appreciated the gluten free option! Bartenders were very friendly! ❤
We've been going here about once a week for about a decade and it's always great - 100% recommend.
Also a good choice when looking for gluten free options. It's not mentioned on their menu, but if you order things with corn tortillas, it's gluten free in my experience with a gluten allergy, including their chips, salsa and cheese dip.
