I already knew the store for a long time, but the other day I went in and they served me without enthusiasm and it almost seemed like I was annoying. You touched the products and they fell apart. I bought sobaos and I had to throw them away because they were dry. I don't recommend it to anyone even if it has gluten-free products
VERY GOOD QUALITY AND PRICE.. AND THE ATTENTION TO US WAS REALLY EXQUISITE.. A 10.. AND IT STANDS OUT THAT THEY HAVE GLUTEN-FREE FOOD FOR Celiacs... WE WENT WITH THE CHILD WITH THAT PROBLEM AND IT WAS A 10.... WE WILL RETURN WITHOUT ANY DOUBT..
Very varied homemade food prepared with care. The staff is super nice, the prices are good and the portions are more than adequate.
To highlight the homemade pizza dough and especially the preparation of the complete gluten-free menu! 100% recommended
They do not accept card.
They have a specific gluten-free menu suitable for celiacs because they are endorsed by the association. The crepes and milkshakes are very delicious. They have a terrace and books inside.
We went to eat on Saturday March 23 because we had seen online that the food was very good, but above all because celiacs would have no problems eating. Everything I can express here falls short of the experience we have had, my 6-year-old daughter, who has celiac disease, was delighted, she had 5 or 6 starters to choose from and another 5 or 6 seconds, plus dessert, incredible. For non-celiacs, maybe 6 or 7 first ones and as many seconds. The food is delicious, it is homemade food and you can see the dedication and care with which they make it. My daughter ate paella which she loved, we tried it and it was delicious, we ate mountain stew which was to die for and my wife ate lasagna which was also delicious. For the main course we had a hamburger with cheese and jalapeños, which was also very good. We were so delighted that today the 26th we went to eat again. My daughter ate lentils today, needless to say, she said again how delicious they were.
The staff that works are charming, attentive, it's like you're eating as a family. Thanks for everything.
When we return to Cantabria, we will go to eat again.
Don't hesitate to go eat there.
I give 4 stars instead of 5 because the menu on the weekend is not offered in its entirety. For example, you can't have hamburgers. They also do not offer a weekend menu.
Otherwise the food and service were very good. They also offer a menu for celiacs.
Great food and in good quantity, beautiful place and attentive and very pleasant service. Especially grateful for the advice and the breadth of dishes for a celiac person who was able to enjoy, among other things, a Santander rabas and a spectacular cheesecake
Highly recommended, the crepes are very good, a lot of variety, gluten-free options and most importantly, very well controlled, everything is made separately. The attention of 10 and the service, despite being parties and being full, has been very fast!! Thank you very much!
I am celiac and I normally have problems eating outside my house. This restaurant is great, we ordered the nachos with chicken and guacamole, cochinita pibil tacos and the red enchiladas, all very delicious. Excellent value for money.
There is NO longer any gluten-free offering, what's more, their waitresses are not trained in this subject. We had breakfast inside the premises at less than 12 degrees with the door open, without air conditioning the premises. Anyway, a year ago we came and it was something else, a shame.
Spectacular site for celiacs and non-celiacs. Great variety on the menu (and also for celiacs), things that couldn't even be adapted. Very friendly and empathetic staff as well as good value for money.
Highly recommended!!
We ordered delivery after having lost track of this restaurant and we are delighted to have found you again, from Maliaño to Soto de la Marina the food arrived hot, on point, very delicious, everything just as we remembered, my celiac daughter HAPPY (and we for her MORE)
THANK YOU JOSE and team for staying there.
Without a doubt it will have to be repeated
Returning from Molino de Santa Olaja Isla is the closest town and we decided on this restaurant because in other reviews we had read that being gluten intolerant was not a problem in this place.
The truth is that as soon as we told them about it, they immediately offered to make gluten-free bread for one of the diners and then when we asked for some rabas they made them with chickpea flour.
The service was always top ten, the food was well presented, good quantity, well prepared and good raw materials, the suckling pig (in shoulder and chops) was very delicious, the sirloin very tender and tasty. The desserts are also very delicious.
You will wonder then why I don't rate it with 5 stars. Because you have to take care of the details, it's a real shame that that sirloin and that suckling lamb had some French fries as a garnish, one of those totally bland pre-frozen ones. Wouldn't it be better to use some vegetables instead of the usual French fries?
There was also a small error on the bill, but we didn't give it importance, they marked 4 for bread and there were only three of us.
Very good site, notable.
The waiter is very attentive to the diners' needs and intolerances.
I have a gluten intolerance and they have offered me alternatives for everything, even croquettes.
Good price, €16.5 for the menu on Sunday, so perfect.
I would return without hesitation
Excellent staff treatment, delicious food, with vegetarian and gluten-free options. Thank you so much. We will return
Some clients from Madrid forget to say the key words: 'please' and 'thank you', from what I could observe and hear.
I ordered the Urbano breakfast, €9 and it included everything you see in the photo.
Coffee with milk, juice, a manolito (Which was BRUTAL! 100% recommended!), scrambled eggs with bacon.
Very rich breakfast and it leaves you full. The place is very nice and the staff is polite and attentive.
There is a GLUTEN FREE option!
Excellent treatment. Delicious food.
We were a group of friends, one of them has celiac disease and they were very attentive to her.
100% recommendable
Very nice place, with very good service and very good food, the potatoes are clearly not frozen and they also have food for people with celiac disease.
Spectacular site. We were there a while ago and we came back to try some dishes, they had changed them and they were still completely worth it. The seafood and fish is crazy. They have also adapted the menu for celiacs.
We have eaten the menu of the day several times, which is great, but on this occasion it had few gluten-free options and we didn't fancy any of them. So we ate a pudding a la carte that was quite good and a huge turbot (we were 2 people and although they showed it to us before cooking, they did not warn us of its great weight, no more and no less than 2.2kg). The turbot itself was not bad, but it had almost no flavor, no salt or garlic or anything, and although it had some good baker's potatoes as an accompaniment. For what we paid for the turbot, it seemed quite excessive to me, just over €100 for the turbot alone. I've eaten it in other places and it's much better than here, so I don't recommend it.
Of course, they offered us to take what was left over, which was like another ration, and so we did. Making a little sautéed garlic at home changed things a lot. Despite everything, I don't give it a bad rating, because I consider that it was something punctual and I have to say that the menu is very good.
Excellent service and well prepared food, it is just a few meters from the beach. Quite extensive menu and daily menu, very good quality-price ratio and variety of gluten-free dishes as well as knowledge of allergens and cross contamination, which is appreciated,
An excellent service. The staff very friendly and attentive. The food is exquisite, plus an exhaustive control for people with celiac disease. We loved it. Thank you. We will recommend it and we will return when we return to Santander.
We were in Astillero for a few days to get to know the area. The first day they recommended Katorze to us. Since we tried it, I think we repeat it every day, whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The service is very friendly and attentive. What mattered most to us is that they have gluten-free options and that they were also very delicious. The kitchen service was also very attentive and careful with this issue. Of course, when we return to the area without a doubt, we will return. The quality of the food accompanies a positive opinion.
It only remains to say that thank you very much for your attention.
A little corner to have a coffee, but they also have juices (delicious smoothies) and they make pizzas (I haven't tried them yet but I've been told by acquaintances who have that they are delicious). They also usually have pastries for celiacs.
MARVELOUS
It is the second time I come and I will continue doing so because it is the best brunch place in Cantabria. Unbeatable quality-price
The bowls are spectacular, the touch of honey takes away the acidity of the yogurt and the fruit is just right. Gluten free granola also available.
This time we tried the toasts with beet hummus and they were a real discovery. The poached eggs were perfect.
To top it off, dessert was a delicious Nutella croissant and for the person who had celiac disease, adapted to a kinder toast with natural strawberries that tasted heavenly.
They make the coffee great too, we even repeat it.
The attention of 10 too, close, polite and very attentive
What has been said, to repeat without a doubt
Excellent attention from both the owner and the waiters. Exceptional food (grilled shrimp, pan-fried clams, toad with garlic). They gave me gluten-free bread and were always aware of my intolerances. Gin and tonic and very good coffees.
Terrific service, they always serve us great, gluten-free and vegetarian options. We spend our holidays on the island and we always eat there one day. We will be back.
My boy and I went to eat, from the first minute they were super friendly. I told them that I had celiac disease and they knew how to tell me everything that was gluten-free and even when they were going to prepare our order for us, they were attentive at all times to ensure that there was no confusion with trace contamination.
Place with views and food of 10, highly recommended.
I recommend the restaurant, the staff was very attentive and willing throughout the night.
They have gluten free options. I am celiac and at all times they told me what I could eat and what I couldn't, and they even adapted some of the portions so that I could eat them. If you notify in advance, they may even have gluten-free bread available.
Regarding the food, we ordered the menu for two, which is very complete and, as the waiter commented, it is very good in relation to "quantity-quality-price." Of course, be careful with the shrimp that entertain :)
Recommendable!!!
