Great atmosphere, great food, great service! First place I visited after not having been in LA for a year. We found this place as my friend is gluten-free, and it has become a staple spot from now on. Food is beautifully served, and cooked to perfection. I also love the versatility in the menu options, and great drinks. We had Jeff as our server, and he was fantastic and super helpful! Whether inside or outdoor seating, it's a great time. 10/10 recommend.
One of the best vegan spots in LA, and one of my favorite spots in general. They have tons of gluten free options and their gluten free pizza is amazing! Staff is always, warm, friendly, & accommodating.
Their gluten-free griddle cakes are dairy-free as well! As long as you ask for no butter on top. Also the fresh orange juice is delicious. The seating is closely packed and it can be very loud at times - probably not enough to bother most people but if you have noise-related sensory issues or severe social anxiety it will be noticable.
I went to Urth Caffé for a casual meeting with a colleague and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. I was expecting a very “sceney” LA spot—bustling, loud, and a little chaotic—but at 2:30 on a Friday, it was surprisingly mellow and chill. You order at the counter, and while the process felt a bit like a machine (efficient but impersonal), the outdoor seating made up for it. The garden-like vibe with floral touches is really pleasant and gives the space a relaxed charm.
The food was flavorful and definitely gluten-free-friendly, which is a big plus. I got the New Yorker sandwich as a wrap, and while the flavors were great, I would have liked a bit more meat in there. It wasn’t a dealbreaker, but it left me wanting just a little extra.
Overall, it’s a solid spot if you’re looking for a quiet, garden-y café with good gluten-free options. Perfect for casual meetings or a laid-back afternoon.
Thought they had a great selection of oysters and they were shucked well, but man they are pricey. Definitely paying the rent on these. I loved their cider selection and that the waiter understood what gluten free means. He was terrific and patient with us. E and I shared the Mussels and Clams which were good but not cleaned very well because on multiple mouthfulls I felt like I was eating bits of the beach which for the price tag. Disappointing. We had fries and grilled calamari. Both were very good. L got the fish and chips which she enjoyed with her beer. When we went it was super chill and I always love going to restaurants when that aren't full to capacity.
the best gluten free pizza in LA. And honestly, the best i’ve tried so far in the entire world lmaooo!!!
It’s thin, crispy and SOOOO delicious.
Also, the drinks are good, and the menu in general is amazing too. Just be ready because it’s expensive!
Love the decor and the waiters are so so so nice always.
If you’re on the hunt for a brunch spot that nails both aesthetic vibes and seriously good food, BBCM is a must-visit.
The brunch menu is chef’s kiss. Every dish is beautifully plated and full of flavor from the decadent brioche French toast to their signature eggs benedict with house-made hollandaise. The portions are generous, the ingredients feel fresh, and the menu caters to all from sweet tooths to savory lovers and even the gluten-free crowd.
But the real showstopper? The mimosa flights. You get a lineup of vibrant, colorful mimosas in a variety of seasonal flavors—think blood orange, lavender, guava, and classic OJ. It’s not just a drink; it’s an experience. Perfect for sipping under the SoCal sun on their lively patio.
Oh don’t skip the cappuccino. They don’t just serve coffee, they elevate it. The baristas are artists, literally, with colorful latte art that’s Instagram-worthy and deliciously smooth.
Come for the food, stay for the mimosas, and soak in the WeHo energy.
We visited Laurel on friday night and had a great meal.
We ordered the spicy salmon tartare, which was fresh and full of flavor.
For the main course, the 100% Grass Fed Cheeseburger, which was perfectly cooked and satisfying.
I enjoyed a cold beer, while my fiancè got a nice cocktail well-balanced and refreshing. We also shared a fresh salad (apple?) on the side.
The biggest disappointment was the lack of gluten-free bread.
As a person who work in food business and visit thousand of places every year, i expect In a fusion restaurant to find gf bread and pasta, especially one aiming for a higher level of dining.
It feels like a basic inclusion for today’s standards, and it was frustrating not to have that choice.
Despite this, the food was excellent, and we would still consider coming back.
Not too shabby! We were both disappointed by our pastas, considering the price point I thought it would be divine. The drinks are good and the service is beyond classy. Nothing special inside but it’s really calm and refreshing. Worth a visit once, and they should tell you gluten free pasta is extra. Also, no birthday desserts but they will write it on the plate (that was delicious).
This was such a fun place for brunch! I visited WeHo Bistro to meet up with a group of friends. The patio had such a great vibe and the food was stellar. We had a lot of special diets/allergies withing the group (gluten free, dairy free, and vegetarian), and everyone was able to find something delicious to enjoy!
The drinks were great and the coffee was strong too. I will definitely be coming back to enjoy many more meals here!
This place is definitely made for the gays! Delicious AND healthy food that nourishes those muscles. ;P There's a wide variety to select from. I recommend the specialty where you get one main dish and two sides. There's something for everyone here whether you are vegetarian, vegan, keto, pescatarian, or gluten intolerant.
I had a wonderful dining experience dining Stella on New Year's Eve. They were super accommodating with my vegan and gluten-free dietary restrictions and the meals were delicious. My favorite was the truffle pasta! The drinks they served that night were exceptional! I highly recommend Stella for anyone seeking great service and inclusive menu options!
One of the best juice shops i have been to in LA. Why are they they best? Not only do they have a large menu with many smoothie additions, but they also have amazing food as well, and the best shots in town. The protein supreme smoothie with pink dragonberry was the best smoothie ive ever had, im not even joking. Perfect sweetness with all the protein and nutrients you need. Then i got almond butter toast with bananas strawberry chia jam cinnamon and cacao nibs, SOO YUMMY. And why not try a blue majik shot to cleanse. Wow so much better than those other juice shots. And how could i forget VEGAN GLUTEN FREE chocolate cake - again, best cake ive ever had. So rich and chocolatey. Yes the place is a little pricey, but your paying for quality. Highly recommended. Shop small businesses!
Awesome burgers, the double Swiss mushroom was super filling for me. Medium is good, they cannot make it medium rare. Gluten free bun holds together better. Very friendly staff, pretty quiet atmosphere during the afternoon. Prices are very reasonable. Mac n cheese very creamy, not too salty.
The pancakes and the people are 5 star! I have stayed in a lot of hotels and in LA had lots of different service but at the 1 kitchen I had the most kind servers I had in LA. One of my servers that I forgot to ask his name but I remember greenish eyes and you had small dreads pulled back. Thank you for wonderful service and just your overall vibe - you let me post up in a booth never made me feel rushed. Kind people deserve to always be celebrated and lets not forget about the best gluten free pancakes of my life!
Wow, I love this place! Such a clean menu! Lots of organic, non-gmo, antibiotic free meats, etc. Love to see it. Almost everything could be done gluten free or plant based too, which was also a rarity.
The restaurant was sparkling and the people were brilliant. Wish I could remember our server’s name, because he was absolutely wonderful.
Definitely loud, but not horribly loud. Nice valet guys too. The dining room is bright and airy, but chilly at night since it’s open to the outdoors in places.
The Brussels sprouts and sweet potato fries were terrific table starters. The pork chop was divine, the burgers were perfectly cooked, and the spicy pasta had a huge portion. Great prices, big portions, and healthy feel-good yet tasty food. An unbeatable combination!
I came to Tesse to meet up with a friend and it just happened to be Dine LA week. For the prices, I felt that they offered a good variety and good amount of dishes to make sure you left full, at least for 2 people. Not a cheap place so it was nice to actually get a full meal. Not sure how it would have worked out if we had a larger party being that you get one smallish salad and 2 pastries. The food was very good. For DineLA, the table gets the Morning Baked Pastries (1 muffin & 1 croissant) AND the Little Gem salad AND their Our Famous Gluten-Free Oat Pancakes. Then each person chooses one of the main courses which in our case was their Short Rib Hash and Tesse Burger. We did not try the muffin or the croissant but I did take it home and my sister said it was average. As for the salad, it looked way over dressed but it wasn't so bad when I actually tried it. The dressing was mild so it was good. I really enjoyed their pancakes. If you have any hesitations about the gluten-free or oats, I would say still try them. They were good and would definitely order them again. I enjoyed the Short Rib Hash. It was basically a deconstructed hash, layered with scrambled eggs, short ribs, crispy potatoes, and caramelized onions and peppers. I felt that the short rib could have been flavored more, but eating with the caramelized onions helped. The potatoes were fantastic. So crispy and not burnt. The burger visually looked very plain and boring but it was surprisingly really good. It was on the small side though. I did feel that the DineLA menu was a bit confusing in that the food options were a bit scattered and random, especially in the order that they were served. The service was great. It was not very busy so perhaps that helped but the staff was very friendly and attentive. Overall, I would come back again....I just need to be prepared a little extra since once again it is not a cheap place.
We went out to eat with our two children (4 and 1 year old) today and all the plates were empty at the end. The waiters prepared the salmon for our daughter gluten-free in the kitchen and all the other dishes (pasta and burgers) were also really delicious. We highly recommend it.
It seems like I had a similar experience to many others here: bland pho. Like zero flavor bland. Based on the restaurant's responses, they must be constantly training new kitchen staff and not tasting the results before things go out 'cause that seems to be their go-to reply.
A friend who swears by the place because he can get gluten-free spring rolls talked me into giving it another try and the bahn mi was pretty decent (hence 3 stars instead of 1), but if you put "pho" in your name, you can't screw it up that badly (and based on the reviews, so frequently) and get me to try it again when there are so many other, better, kitchens around.
[EDIT] Based on the owner's response, I gave it another shot last night and, while I can't say it's bland anymore, I also can't say that my rating has changed. The first time I tried it (a year or so ago) it seemed like they maybe forgot the salt completely. This time, it tasted like that was the only seasoning in the kitchen. That does indeed make for a flavorful broth, but the only two flavors I discerned were beef and salt: no anise, no other aromatics, just salt. Fortunately, the beef is of high quality so there was something to work with, but the deeper I got into the bowl, the more the salt took over and I ended up leaving half a bowl of broth, something I never do.
If friends invite me here in the future, I'll definitely stick to the banh mi, which was pretty solid, or try out the pizza, which smelled great last night, but the pho is just a miss for me.
Trendy place, full of details, lights and flowers. Dinner menu designed to share multiple dishes between diners.
Becca, our waitress, was very kind and gave us the best advice.
Absolutely try the spinach and shiitake mushroom salad, one of the best salads I've ever eaten!
The cocktails are also good, the wine list is not very rich and quite expensive.
They have several vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free or vegan options.
Absolutely love this place! The food is always delicious, I highly recommend the chicken sandwich and gluten free chocolate cake. The interior is gorgeous too, both inside and outside. It's a great place to spend time with friends, especially for a celebration. The entire staff is very accommodating. The environment is very safe and I can't wait to come back.
It is no joke that they are known for the best pancakes in West Hollywood. Buttermilk and gluten free five grain pancakes are amazing with any toppings!
I’ve always driven past Go Get em Tiger but hadn’t stopped there until now. I didn’t realize that you don’t actually go inside, but instead order from a window outside. It was a nice sunny day so I was happy to sit at a table outside on the sidewalk.
They said they were featuring coffees from Honduras, so my friend Nate (who’s a “coffee snob” or AKA “knows his coffee”) was very excited. I decided to get an iced almond macadamia latte which was yummy and Nate got some type of drip black coffee or something like that…can you tell I don’t know my coffee? Haha
We were so excited when they told us they had some gluten free options. We ordered the overnight oats which were absolutely delicious, and they were about to close and still had a gluten free brownie available so they gave it to us complimentary. It was so delicious and they were so nice, I wanted to cry. Great experience here and I can’t wait to return!
HOLY COW! Hands down the best matcha I have ever had and of course the toast was amazing....they even had a gluten free option. Super cool vibe and cute stand! Owners were very fun and hip, wish they were in the Hamptons year round. Heard they are opening something up in LA, very cool concept. I am a big Bravo Toast fan!
Great place with tasty food and attentive service.
Quite a few gluten free options. They have mango dessert which is very tasty and gluten free.
There is a roof top bar at the hotel where restaurant located at, amazing view to LA.
Great service and fun surroundings on the patio. Some serving sizes were a little small and the gluten-free options were a bit limited. Overall though really fun and the quality of the food was high.
Good food, not terribly authentic to French cooking but tasty in its own right. Salads are nice, salmon cooked perfectly and the duck was crispy although a bit dry (a good sauce would have worked well with it).
Gluten free options are not marked on the menu, and best to ask.
