100% gluten-free and they have so many yummy pastries, desserts, and savory items too. Pop tarts, donuts, quiche, cookies, etc! They take cake orders~had an ube taro birthday cake and it was amazing! This spot is a MUST if you are ever in Atlanta. All my non-gluten-free family and friends love it too! If you live in Atlanta, follow their Instagram for updates on seasonal menu items!
I went there after I dropped my bags at the hotel nearby. Starving after the long flight. So awesome to find an anti-inflammatory restaurant that had so much I could choose from. I had their yummy turkey burger that swapped out lettuce for the bread and a sweet potato hash. With a side of an amazing Kale, cucumber ginger, fresh green drink, and I got a gluten-free chocolate chip cookie to go. The staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and the manager went above and beyond, helping me out with something. Can’t say enough a good things about this place I’ll be back. I’m in town for a week. This will be my go to Place.
Beautiful outdoor space where pets are welcome. Aperol spritz was amazing 👏🏽 gluten-free pizza was as good as the standard crust. Just an overall great vibe for a Friday afternoon.
Nice lively spot in a great location. Parking available behind and on the street. Several great gluten free options. Calamari was extremely tasty and crispy but very small pieces so for me the ratio of meat to coating was not great. Wings were fantastic. Big, crispy, delicious buffalo sauce. Steak frites were good but the chimichurri is more oil than herbs, and coated every fry and piece of steak. Another review described them as greasy and they are not wrong. Ordered one to go and meat was very very salty, even with all sauce on the side. Food came out lightning fast. Bar is attentive and cares very much about their drinks, which is well appreciated.
The menu of this restaurant is deceptive. If you have celiac, you cannot eat many of the items marked as gluten free, as they do not have a dedicated fryer. So, basically, it’s “gluten free” but not really. And, rather than source tortilla chips from another business that is gluten free, they fry everything together. Also, they ran out of mushrooms for the Bistec de Palomilla, so I guess you need to arrive very early for dinner. It was a disappointing evening, even though the food we were able to have was good.
Gluten free and thankful for your choices!Stopped in (not my first time) with parents over the weekend. They enjoyed the chili and the Bad to the Bone sandwich. I had the omelet with hash browns and gluten free toast.
See you again soon!
Had Mother’s Day brunch here. It was lovely. Service and food were great.
The furnishings were a bit tired but that was the only negative.
They have gluten free pasta options.
There is a really kind buff dude with a long pony tail of dreadlocks that has been super awesome about greeting us both times my husband and I ate here. The gluten free pancakes are some of the best pancakes I've ever ate. Gluten or not. Jalapeno omelet, amazing. Benedicts on point. The buff guy with the dreads makes better drinks than the lady did, but this place is a new favorite for me when visiting Atlanta
As someone with several food allergies—especially gluten—dining out can often feel like an exercise in compromise. Usually, I’m limited to one or two options on a menu, if that. But Burtons Grill & Bar completely turned that experience on its head.
From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and accommodated. Their gluten-free menu wasn’t just an afterthought—it was extensive, thoughtfully crafted, and genuinely exciting. In fact, the options were so tempting that my dining companion, who doesn’t have any dietary restrictions, chose to order from the gluten-free menu too—and she absolutely loved it.
Our server Brittany was an absolute delight—attentive, kind, and knowledgeable. The manager on duty also went above and beyond to ensure our experience was seamless and special.
We ordered the steak frites and the chicken Milanese Alfredo—both dishes were executed perfectly and full of flavor. And just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, we were treated to a complimentary slice of their seven-layer chocolate cake, which (yes!) was gluten-free and absolutely scrumptious.
If you’re looking for a place that offers elegance, excellent service, and truly inclusive menu options, Burtons is a must-visit. I’m already planning to return—and next time, I’m bringing friends and family with me!
This is such a cute restaurant in the heart of midtown. They have indoor, patio and upstairs seating. The food is amazing! I had the lobster bisque to start then shrimp and grits. Yum! They have meat, vegetarian and even gluten free options. Prices were resonable and our service was quick! Note: there are only 3 unisex bathrooms so be aware if it's busy when you dine you may need to wait. There's a parking deck near by within walking distance but be prepared to pay (like with any place in atl) not sure if they have validation. We weren't offered any but didn't expect any either. It didn't take away from our experience. Would still highly recommend.
Great gluten free biscuit! We did have to wait for a table, and another half hour for the food but it was very good. Waitress was a little hyperactive but she was trying to cope with the breakfast rush.
Visiting from Utah, first time in Atlanta, we stayed a week and this was the best meal we had the whole trip. I have celiac disease and we travel frequently and it’s always a struggle to eat out. The the staff went above and beyond to make sure I was able to enjoy my meal. They gave us a complimentary appetizer and made something gluten free for me so I didn’t feel left out, the waitress Johnette was SO nice, she went over the gluten free options and the chef ended up coming out once I ordered to clarify what I was ordering and what he could substitute to make it gluten free. Everyone was very accommodating. The manager also checked in several times. Food was amazing and so were the desserts! Will definitely be back next time we’re in town.
This was my first experience dining at Emmy’s! Delicious gluten free crust & vegan cheese options! The service was great. Our server Evay, charming and kind and the manager Justin, simply superb in his customer service! I will surely dine again at this location.
beautiful patio, great food, wonderful service. the best gluten free pizza i’ve had in atlanta. Harrison was very knowledgeable and accommodating for our dietary restrictions.
Snooze is like a modern-day dinner. They play fun music and have colorful decor! Unlike most diners that serve bland food, Snooze service delicious eggs Benedicts and unique pancake flavors. As an added bonus, they offer all their pancakes as gluten-free options. My favorite pancake is the cinnamon roll gluten-free.
The only reason I couldn't give Snooze a 5 star is because there was a hair on my pancake the last time I went. But I've been several times to this location and the original one in buckhead and never had a problem, so I think it was just an off day. We will definitely go back.
The 7 inch pancake is really more like 10. They had plenty of gluten free options that were good for my bf with Celiac’s. We’re definitely gonna come again for dinner sometime.
Had a great first experience here!! I am celiac and they were able to accommodate! The staff was super helpful and extremely friendly! Elijah was awesome at the bar and made killer mocktails for me! Will be back!
WOW this place is a little tucked away but so amazing. Entirely gluten free kitchen and attentive staff! Shout out to Adrianna and Noelle. We had a wonderful lunch with generous portions of guac, queso, and salsa and super flavorful tacos a la carte! Thank you for being open on the 4th of July!
Returning customer. Gluten free menu for breakfast , brunch, and dinner is a huge plus! Add to that the selections and the delicious tasting food. They even have gluten free bread while others dining get regular bread. Thank you so much for offering gluten free.
I ordered the gluten free Bourbon Pancakes and these were the BEST gluten free pancakes I've had at a restaurant ever. The pancakes also came with eggs and bacon which is unusual and greatly appreciated. My husband had the Blackrock Benedict which came with cheese grits and was also amazing. The service was excellent and Chantay was very attentive, polite and friendly. I HIGHLY recommend this place. They know how to do breakfast!! You will not be disappointed.
Flying out of ATL weekly has given me the time to figure out the places I like to eat and the others I stay away from. One Flew South was always my go to for food because the food is quite good, from the sushi to the smash burger with fries. Unfortunately, the last two visits were miserably with service. From the host being rude because I didnt want to sit at the bar and then seating two groups that walked up after me, to the server rolling his eyes at me because I asked if something was gluten free and then couldnt have the courtesy to say anything after I said thank you and that I hoped he had a good night. I ask for very little because I have both worked in the restaurant industry and currently train people on customer service/experience.
Even though the food is good, I dont plan to go there again due to service alone. Hopefully management can work with their staff to create a better experience for future guests.
Mary and other team member was so kind and welcoming. It warmed my heart. I have enjoyed being here. They gave gluten free cracker for those who are GF.

Everything about our experience was perfect. Blake was a most excellent server and he renewed my faith in dining out. I felt especially accommodated as a gluten-free person---it has not been an easy diagnosis to navigate, and I felt 100% included in the menu options. Consider ordering family style so you can try everything! Oh, and the cocktails were easily the best I can recall having.
I tried so hard not to leave this review because I didn't want to publicly say anything negative about the establishment. But after several failed attempts to contact the owner Ive decided to see if this will get a response. First, Life Bistro is one of the only restaurants that offers a alkaline vegan dish in the Metro Atlanta Area and that's why I gave them so many chances to get it right. Its hard to find prepared Alkaline food period. Therefore, because I am on a special diet (Alkaline) I have placed several orders with life Bistro for the Portobello steak Rasta Pasta (Alklaine) Gluten Free. This meal is $30.00 on Uber eats. I have to order my food online because I cannot physically go to the restaurant to get it. Because I am on a special diet when I order this meal I ask them to make it without oils and without the Portobello steak. I then always ask for extra mango salsa and extra chimmichurri. I have ordered this meal now 7 times and each time there was something wrong with my food and I am sick of it to the point that I have to write this review. The issues Ive experienced were literally all over the place. This restaurant is not consistent at all. Some issues I've experienced with my meal are: absolutely no sauce on the pasta just dry noodles(I was so pissed when the uber eats man dropped that off at my house), portion size every time I ordered was less and less and this is a $30.00 meal, I would say no portobello steak but they give me Portobello steak, I pay 5 dollars for extra mango salsa and Chimmichurri and its not in the bag (this happened more than once just throwing away money), one time my food was so oily after requesting no oil I couldn't even eat it. I always called the restaurant with my complaints because I felt like I was just throwing away money and helpless because I had to order online. (I always called in to confirm my order once placed online too just to make sure my food would be right and it still have something wrong with it). The kitchen manager or whoever answer the phone would take my name and number and says that the owner is going to call me. I never received a call after multiple attempts to reach the owner. I was offered a remake that never happened because no one ever called. But at this point I dont want a remake. Yall would have to remake sooooo many of my meals. I just want yall to do right by people! I feel like I've given this establishment so much money hoping they'll eventually get it right but clearly that is not the case. I will not be purchasing any meals from this establishment ever again! I hope that your kitchen staff find some type of system that will allow them to be more consistent in preparing dishes. I can go to the Chinese people restaurant and their food gone be the same every time. Clearly yall ain't figured it out yet.
Everyone loved their meals. I have celiacs and got the spicy miso ramen with chicken. It was so yummy. Also ordered by the family pork belly fried rice, spicy ribeye broth less ramen, bbq pork appetizer , flourless chocolate cake and crepe cake, lychee drink and smoked strawberry drink. Everything was so delicious. I am ecstatic for legit yummy gluten free food and to finally get to try ramen.
Service and atmosphere were great too. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back.
Just had an amazing, fresh and tasty lunch. The bruschetta options were numerous and gluten-free bread was available so everyone in our party could share. Kacey and the other servers were friendly and attentive. the chopped brussel sprouts salad was exceptional.
The lavender biscuit is a must have! I don’t eat gluten but when I’m anywhere near Sun in my belly I’m getting that lavender biscuit with that homemade jelly that just knocks your socks off! All of their food is delicious but I’m telling you there’s something about that lavender biscuit!
Love the pastries at the cafe, I’d drive over there just for them whenever the cravings hit!! Favs include: carrot cake with crispy top (gluten free but you wouldn’t know it from how moist and delicious it is, no wonder they always sell out), pan au chocolates, conchas either seasonal fillings (my fav has been mocha cream), seasonal croissants (currently with peach and cream). They serve delicious Brash coffee as well.
Restaurant side is always crowded, but when able to plan ahead with s reservation, it’s a nice place to brunch / lunch after walking through Chastain Park. Chicken schnitzel with spinach spaetzle is fantastic. Valet parking is complimentary.
Cute, cozy, modern cottage core vibes! Food is delicious and worked well with my dietary restrictions. I had the avocado toast on gluten free bread. GF bread can be tricky but this was soft and delicious. Highly recommend for vegan/vegetarian/gluten free folks!
