This diner is a godsend for those with celiac disease or gluten sensitivities! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about safe preparation and the food is solid. Highly recommend!
We bought an apple crumb pie today. I am not gluten free, but it was the most delicious pie I have in a very long time.
The crumbs are as delicious as the crust and filling …👍💕🥧
This was the best gluten free burger I've ever had. Gluten free buns aren't normally very good but this was amazing. My wife got one of their salmon entrees and loved it as well. We got in faster than we thought and our server was attentive and friendly.

If you’re looking for an old time charming diner this is the place to go, no bells and whistles…just outstanding service & super delicious food. We have food sensitivities and Cora (our server) was very attentive to our dietary needs. The other servers were friendly as well. The menu was easy to read( not overwhelming), gluten free options are available and these items were highlighted on the menu. We will definitely be back soon!
The food was great. It was quick. It’s a nice atmosphere and the service is excellent. It is cash only and in spite of the sign as you’re walking up, it is not gluten-free.
Best gluten free sandwich I've ever had!!! They use Two Fields Italian rolls which is the only edible gluten-free bread in my opinion. I was skeptical to try because of how much I disliked other gluten-free sandwiches such as the warm have a Jersey Mike's. I was pleasantly surprised! I'll definitely be going back.
Love it here because of all the gluten free options, and as a celiac it’s so appreciated! Axel was our server this time around and she was super sweet and provided good service. 10/10! ❣️
One of my favorite spots. I’m celiac so I’m extra thankful for places like this. I’m not always in the area but when I am I stop in twice! KITCH muffin for breakfast with citrus black and turkey club with sparkling lemonade for lunch are my favorite and my kids love sitting in there sweet garden area to eat. I recommend ordering online first even if going to sit and eat there. Love the atmosphere and the staff. Small space but warm and inviting.
This gluten-free bakery is absolutely incredible! Stopped by on a lazy Sunday afternoon not long before closing. Egg and cheese on English muffin was outstanding and the coffee can't be beat.
The crumb cake and cinnamon donuts were delectable. Both items had a light almost fluffy consistency and the taste was absolutely scrumptious. After carbing up for brunch, I left with a bag full of tasty gluten-free baked treats and salad for later. Owners are super cool and it's a nice mellow atmosphere. First visit but certainly won't be the last 😃
It’s very difficult to find restaurants with gluten-free items. It’s much appreciative that they have gluten-free waffles and pancakes on the food was good.
Love Asbury Kitchen! Breakfast is my fav meal of the day, and OC def has a lot to offer when it comes to breakfast/brunch! My boyfriend has celiacs (gluten free allergy) and this is our go to! Equipped with a separate fully Gluten Free menu, gluten free desserts, and accommodating staff. There were so many options we’ve never seen at other places (gluten free eggs benedict— pictured) and so much more that we need to go back and try— gluten free almond pound cake- yes please! I got a regular Jersey Eggs Benedict which was absolutely delicious and he got the same made gluten free and we shared a stack of gluten free pancakes with fresh strawberry and crispy bacon. Everything was made to perfection!!! Cozy and clean atmosphere, friendly staff and lots of options! Highly recommend for breakfast/brunch and especially for any friends with allergies!
I remember back when they were half the size and it is clear why they had to double! The food is excellent and they even have a gluten free/vegan menu!
I’m really disappointed in my experience with Broad Street Dough Co.
I placed an order for a Gluten Allergy Mini 9 Box—clearly labeled for those with dietary needs. Instead, I was handed four full-sized donuts and told to “just cut them up.” That might sound simple to an adult, but it doesn’t go over well with children who were each expecting their own donut. Try explaining to nine excited kids that they’ll be splitting donuts with forks and napkins instead of enjoying the individual treat they were promised.
I’ve reached out to the business multiple times via email, Facebook and their website. Days have passed with no response, no refund, and no apology. This isn’t just poor customer service—it’s a disregard for food allergies and for customers who trusted them to get it right.
I hope they take this feedback seriously and start treating allergy orders—and communication—with the care they deserve.
Love true foods ! Waitress was very accommodating for my daughter order who just wanted a gluten free pizza with red sauce and vegan cheese . Love the lavender matcha ! I always order that and so many vegan options. First time trying the vegan cookie and ice cream was delish !
Thank you, Kizbee's! Jenna helped me choose the perfect flavors and decorations for two graduation cakes - her knowledge of the products being requested as well as her professional recommendations were extremely helpful. Both cakes were absolutely delicious - most of our guests could not believe they were gluten free! And our dietary restricted guests really appreciated the ability to enjoy delicious desserts at our event. I would highly recommend Kizbees Kitchen, and we will definitely continue to order from Jenna for all our special events!
I’ve eaten here safely 4 times with celiac (very sensitive to cc) I love the wings, fries, and fried Brussels! Can be a longer wait for a table but worth it for the extensive gf menu and safe prep.
We ordered the Crispy Spinach Chaat appetizer with Pork Vindaloo, side of basmati and papadam (an off menu item). We were surprised by pork on the menu but we were told the chef's wife is Italian so there is some influence there. The Spinach Chaat and Pork Vindaloo were delicious! The whole meal was among the best Indian food we've had - and we've had a lot. This was great for gluten sensitivity and the menu was well marked for GF items although there is potential for cross contact in the kitchen as stated on their menu. I didn't feel sick at all and I'm very sensitive. I should've taken pictures but I didn't realize it was going to be THIS good!
"Our kitchen prepares menu items that include dairy, gluten, nuts, shellfish and soy. We cannot guarantee menu items to be completely allergen free."
The service was great and the food was all really good. As a person who is not gluten free/ vegan, I honestly really enjoyed all of the food. They make a really good tofu scramble!
Brigantine is such a cute town to get away from when staying in AC. I love coming here because they have a wide range of things to eat for breakfast to dinner, and they’re accommodating to gluten free diners. They also allowed my pup outside and brought her chicken breast that I ordered in a doggy bowl. It definitely feels like a homey locals spot and I always look forward to visiting!
A very pleasant shop. There is a lot packed into the space, but in a good way. Excellent use of shelving and floor space.
If you are looking for gluten-free cake mixes, dips, snacks, honey, and other foods, Nola B's has got you covered. There is also a selection of chilled items and baked goods.
They also have some fun knicknacks like small creamer pitchers, quirky signs & hand towels, and candles.
Whether you are searching for gluten-free or not, it's worthwhile to stop by Nola B's.
Upon arriving, we received a not very warm welcome which set a not nice tone for the evening. However, things quickly became a bit disappointing. When being seated, the host mentioned he saw the Resy notes indicating someone in our party was plant-based and gluten-free and asked if we’d like that menu. If it was already noted in the reservation, it would’ve made sense to have those menus ready at the table or automatically offered. Otherwise — what’s the point of specifying it ahead of time?
Our server, Mary, unfortunately wasn’t very knowledgeable about the plant-based, vegan, or gluten-free options. She seemed unsure of the menu, had to double-check multiple times, and lacked confidence in answering basic questions about ingredients and modifications. It’s frustrating as a guest when you take the time to add dietary preferences in advance specifically to avoid situations like this.
The veggie soup was far too salty and unenjoyable, though the eggplant parmesan was actually pretty good. The Saratoga still water isn’t a personal favorite and it was the only option, so I had to add several lemon wedges just to make it palatable.
The most disappointing moment was when I asked about plant-based desserts. Mary seemed confused by the request until my mom clarified by saying “vegan dessert,” which then prompted her to bring over a tray of pre-made dessert shooters to choose from. Honestly, that felt off-putting. Who knows how long those had been sitting out or how many tables they’d been to that night. It just wasn’t an appealing or thoughtful presentation, especially for a restaurant that prides itself on seasonal and fresh offerings.
The restaurant was nearly empty given it was the 4th of July, so it would’ve been an ideal opportunity for attentive service. I’m hoping this was just an off night, perhaps due to holiday staffing. I might give them another try on a regular evening to see if it was an isolated issue — but based on this visit, it definitely missed the mark.
Merey Venezuelan Cuisine offers an authentic and flavorful taste of Venezuela in a cozy, welcoming environment. The food is consistently delicious—whether you’re diving into a loaded arepa, sampling cachapas, or enjoying gluten-free goodies. With personable service and meticulous allergy care, it’s a top pick for a comforting, vibrant dining experience in Highland Park.
Spanish and English: I had the vegan cachapa, the apple pie panda, which were really good, and the veggie empanada was just right. The vibe in the place was very chill but busy. There were plenty of options to choose from if you are gluten-free. They were accommodating. The person at the register didn't really know the ingredients well. They got part of my order wrong, so just be mindful to repeat what you are ordering to the person at the register a couple of times. Their food was delicious. I would go again. There is indoor seating. Very quaint with lots of Hispanic-inspired artwork. There is not a lot of seating. My experience here was definitely average; 2.5 stars seems more accurate that 2. It looked nice from the outside and and the menu offerings looked good when we previewed online,
FOOD: my gluten free buttermilk chicken sandwich and gluten free fries were good.
However, my husband ordered the coffee (not good) and the cheesesteak sandwich, which he said tasted like steak ums. (So quality for the price was a mixed bag for us.)
SERVICE: A major plus was the hostess and busser. The hostess was super friendly and gracious, and the busser (who also appeared to refill water) was observant and quick to take care. The server was knowledgeable of the menu (I’m gluten free, so that’s important to me), but her quality of service completely paled in comparison to the other staff.
ATMOSPHERE: I really thought it would be great (and loved this antique cash register at the hostess stand!) But the vibe felt pretentious and put-on; plus, the place was unexpectedly loud. Like the acoustics of the place weren’t set well or sound didn’t absorb well; every sound seemed magnified.
I don’t usually write such long reviews, but this experience was so strange to me.
Overall, I’d order gluten free takeout from there, but that’s about it. When we choose to go out to eat, we want to love the experience; this review probably makes me seem like a “Karen”, but I’ve had a lot of serving experience and am pretty understanding. Blue Plate just didn’t meet the expectations that they set with the way they present themselves as an establishment.
Lots of gluten free and dairy free options! The GF pancakes with vegan butter were fantastic. I Highly recommend Bella Vida Cafe if your looking for delicious food, especially for those with food allergies. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
just went there last weekend, it was amazing! They use A&A pretzels, and Fox and Sons mixes for funnel cake and corn dogs. We tried pretty much everything except pizza on the menu!
RUN here if you have celiac or other GF needs. They have fried donuts that don't taste like dry cake. SO GOOD. The marscapone donut was my favorite. The Nutella bites were good, but not as good as I hyped them up in my mind. If this place was around the corner from me I'd be here daily.
Fantastic place to eat. As long as you get in before 9, we haven’t had to wait. Food was great. Prices were right and they took my wife celiac (cannot eat gluten) seriously! For sure service we appreciate at the beach.
Fantastic diner with good (fresh) coffee and hot food as well as Gluten-Free options! Friendly staff. Eggs Benedict is good as well as great kids meals! Been to other diners in area and they’re just not as good as Majestic.
I love this spot; I’m gluten free and always suspicious of restaurants that say they have good gluten free options. But their French toast was incredible! Coffee was hot and fresh, it was very loud so if you’re noise sensitive I would recommend going at a lighter trafficked time of day or sit outside.
The waiter and hostess were fabulous and helpful.
