This is our Honest Burger Restaurant when we are in London. We love the location and the staff is just amazing. The onion rings are great. The burger is so so good and the fries are just out of this world. The best glutenfree Burger ever!
Restaurant with the possibility of ordering gluten-free options located in Soho and belonging to the famous hamburger chain. The quality of the food is truly remarkable. Friendly staff and good choice on the menu. Definitely worth a stop. Prices perfectly in line with the current English average. Reservation recommended, the restaurant does not have many seats.
We booked a meal at Studio 48 back in early November for my girlfriend's birthday in mid-December. She had been so excited to visit after seeing it on TikTok and learning that it was gluten-free. Unfortunately, the experience was nothing short of a disaster.
Upon arrival, we informed the staff of our booking, only to be told there was no room for us in the restaurant.
The lady we spoke to acknowledged that she could see our reservation in their system but claimed they were only accommodating major
Christmas bookings that evening.
Instead of honoring our reservation, she offered us a tiny space at the downstairs bar, which was completely unsuitable for having a proper meal. Naturally, we declined, as eating a birthday dinner in such a cramped and un-mfortable setting was out of the question. This left us stranded with nowhere to eat on a special evening. Given the time of year, everywhere else was fully booked, and finding a gluten-free option on short notice made things even more difficult. The night we had carefully planned for weeks was ruined entirely.
After reading other reviews, it seems we're not the only ones who've experienced this kind of poor treatment at Studio 48. It's unacceptable to mishandle bookings so carelessly, especially when customers are relying on you for a special occasion. We won't be returning and certainly won't recommend this place to anyone else.

I used to love this place. One of the few places in London that does decent gluten free. I was here a few days ago and the food was awful, dried out, overcooked and appeared like it was recooked from the day before. What has happened in the kitchen.. please review your food quality.
Very knowledgeable about coeliac disease food preparation requirements, separate fryer/grill etc and most things already gf. great food and great service
Went to Duck & Waffle for a quick lunch and had a great experience. The fast lift ride up 40 floors was a fun start, and the views over London were incredible — we could see the Gherkin, Tower of London, Tower Bridge, and even West Ham!
Service was quick and attentive. One of our group is gluten-free, and the staff took it very seriously. They clearly explained the options and reassured us about separate preparation and no cross-contamination, which gave real peace of mind.
It was quiet during lunch, so food came quickly. The waitress mentioned it gets much busier in the evenings. I had the lobster brioche roll and king prawns — both were absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked.
We didn’t stay long, but it was a memorable visit and I’d definitely go again!

Good value and decent food compared to restaurants nearby. Seating is allocated quickly even though there is a line, as food is pumped out super quick.
10-15 min waiting in peak 7:30 time on a Saturday.
Has a gluten free menu which is useful
Very nice with gluten-free options but unreasonably expensive hence the rating as the experience and food did not live up to the price tag.
The staff was somewhat unusual and almost unpleasant.
The first crepe I had - the (vegan) savoury Juarito (with avocado, 🥑 plantain and black beans 🫘) was so tasty that I decided to order a sweet crepe as well for dessert! I had the banoffee 🍌 which was delicious. The portions are a decent size, the service is quick and polite and they have vegan and gluten free options.
Incredible food, loads of amazing gluten free options such as Chicken Milanese and fish and chips, and loads of appetisers. Huge portions and probably one of the nicest pubs/restaurants to grab a drink at in the area. Absolutely reccomend, atmosphere and service were also amazing.
Really great pizza, great gluten free options, super fast service but no high chairs for the little ones! Did not check about baby change - check in advance if bringing babies
Decent vegan options (with gluten free option too) but the restaurant reeks of fish smell. Service was ok, prices are a bit high and some effort required to get a reservation. Papaya salad was good.
Stopped by with a friend when we were in the area and it was my first time trying wahaca. Staff were amazing especially with my gluten free diet. Lovely service !!! And Food was great too. Defo will be back!!
We dined here last night and so surprised it’s not fully booked, the staff was amazing and welcoming - also made sure my gluten and dairy allergy friend knew exactly what she could eat and what it’s been made with. We were a large table and the kitchen sent out quite a few plates on the house which made our evening! The food looked and tasted incredible! The atmosphere and decor was also super cool which I didn’t expect. Had the most wonderful birthday celebration here and would recommend!

Thank you to Pho Balham and Pete and the team for really quick, kind and friendly service. The food is delicious and it was great to see lots of gluten free options on the menu. Thank you!!
Amazing meal at Mowgli. It was my first visit and I loved it.
We were a group of five - three adults and two children. The adults ordered the street food sharer for the three of us, and the kids each had a chicken butter curry and rice.
Now, the food was excellent, but the restaurant was understaffed and service was really bad. I appreciate that it was mother's day and very busy. Once seated, we waited about 15 minutes to be given menus, and we were asked what drinks we wanted which we ordered. Another 15 minutes went by, no drinks had arrived, but the waitress appeared to take our food order. She also repeated our drinks orders which was strange. I think this is where things went a little stray. We ordered the street food sharer for three and two more curries and two more rice for my nephews. When all the food arrived, there were four rice rather than five, two rotis rather than three. There was still plenty of food and we weren't sure if one of the kids meals hadn't been put through or one of the sharers.
Once we finished eating it was another 15 minutes for the table to be cleared and for ice creams to arrive (you get a scoop of salted caramel with the sharer meal).
Definitely book a table in advance. There is plenty of choice for vegans and gluten free. I like the individual portions and sharing options. I didn't take many photos as I was too keen to enjoy!!
First thing that's worth mentioning is how incredibly kind, fun and friendly the staff are. They are so attentive, they regularly check in, and deliver a fantastic service. For service, this team deliver and look after you fantastic regardless of group size (most recent attendance was a group of 10 of us, but have had the same experience as a couple or smaller group).
Then the restaurant itself. There has been such an amazing attention to detail - check the ceiling pic for instance - and the goth, homage to The Lost Boys is absolutely beautiful. The place is clean, well maintained and you can see that there is a real care for the restaurant in itself.
Now onto the food. Charcoal pizzas so the dough is black regardless of having either a standard or a gluten free base. The quality on both bases is fantastic (tried a friend's gf base, it didn't taste much different to a normal base, would eat again). Then there is a fantastic range of pizzas which are customisable from a list of toppings, and there is also no issue with vegan, veggie or meat eater options. Do recommend The Empress pizza with added broccoli!
And cocktails are fantastic. There's a range of themed cocktails - really recommend the 'It's just noodles, Michael', but there is also a happy hour range which have a fantastic choice from Smirnoff ice with absinthe to the slushy Margherita. Also recommended is the beer & bump which definitely kept our group going.
Although we booked late, the team at Lost Souls accommodated us and didn't once make us feel like we were an inconvenience, in fact, they actually helped sort our booking so we could have maximum time there.
It's a fantastic place, so if you're stopping by the Camden area, take the 10 minute walk down to Mornington Crescent, or if you're coming from Euston, take the 15 minute walk down, and go to one of the best little gems London has. 🍕🧛🧛♀️🦇
My wife and I visited for the 2nd time and on both occasions had G/f fish and chips which was fantastic. Very rare to find such a hidden gem that serves gluten free food and beer. Even booking my 60th birthday with them in the cosy bar downstairs for December.
Definitely going to be our regular drinking hole from now on.
TL;DR:
Great food! B i g portions.
Tucked away eatery in covent garden with great mexican food, and great gluten free options. A good choice for a casual ambience (good music, nice decor). Food has great flavours - I've been many times and can recommend essentially everything on the menu. One note is that food portions are large compared to other restaurants in London at a similar price point. Order less, or be prepared to take some home!
Had a wonderful time at Fatt Pundit and offered the following:
-Guava Chilli Cocktail: Refreshing guava juice without much spice minus the salt rim
-Mango Szechuan Cocktail: Refreshing mango juice with a little spice from the szcechuan spirit but not too overwhelming
-Popcorn Cauliflower: Perfectly crisped with a delicious soya garlic sauce
-Kolkata Chilli Duck: Star of the show with very flavorful strips of duck
-Malabar Monkfish Curry: Similar to a Moilee curry and was a perfect blend of fish and light sauce; just as good as the duck!
-Burnt Ginger Rice: Recommended pairing to the Malabar Monkfish Curry
-Stir fry broccoli: Simple but still yummy broccoli dish
-Egg Szechuan Fried Rice: The only time we did not like; spicy but not very flavorful
Geet and Alex did a great job in taking our orders and making sure our gluten intolerance was taken into account. Really loved this restaurant and highly recommend anyone in London to walk-in or make a reservation ahead of time.

A place with cool atmosphere and average food. Sadly, a very strange and rude attitude serving people with intolerances or allergies. I have a dairy and gluten intolerance. The servers told me to check a confusing online allergen menu myself with no guidance rather than answer any question about the menu. Then, we ordered the nachos with yogurt on the side, not an abnormal request. A manager literally came to us to tell us having the yogurt on the side would inherently alter the dish and they couldn't do it. I worked in hospitality for 6+ years and this is absolutely crazy. We were blown away by the arrogance of this, which seems to be decision from the chef, not the FOH. It's not haute cuisine, it's fusion nachos at a chain restaurant. Just put the yogurt on the side. Overall, food is acceptable, nothing remarkable, and the atmosphere is cool - but you would get better allergen service even at the worst of chain pubs. Would not come back.

Great place to eat even on a very busy Saturday. The staff were attentive, food arrived quickly and there was a great atmosphere about the place. Our party all ordered burgers, which were flavoursome and also catered for gluten free. Would visit again.
Honestly 5/5 we had a student bottomless brunch deal and everything was perfect, our drinks came out quickly especially for how busy the restaurant was!! Our server Fadi checked up with us constantly making sure we were okay, had our drinks sorted for whenever we were ready for the next, I personally have a gluten allergy and he toke note of that perfectly and recommended us drinks!
It was busy considering it was a hot Wednesday night and clearly a lot of wait on the food but Fadi constantly kept us updated!! And our drinks were made perfectly!
The mood was a bit ruined but a self centered table next to use who despite being told the wait kept being rude, laughing and snarking at the server who was clearly trying to do his job and as we were in ear shot could tell he was nice, friendly and even offered them free drinks which they complained about !! I couldn't believe it (there was about six/seven of them so it was a big table too and super rude / distracting as a customer) OBVIOUSLY this none of the servers fault at all considering they kept everyone updated about the wait and clearly wasn't staffed enough for how busy it was!! But our server and the bar staff who made our drinks handled it perfectly - honestly if I was our server I would've probably cried with how sparky and rude the table was.
Amazing! Just bear in mind the menu online says what is gluten free but in the restaurant you are advised that there is no separate prep area for gluten free and everything is fried in the same oil so for coeliacs just be aware if you’re travelling, however that’s not a bad review at all, purely informational! There was still a few dishes to choose from and the food was amazing, staff were great….. the tiramisu is gluten free and phenomenal
Camacho C was a wonderful server, amazing energy and very helpful & reassuring about the gluten free options. Manager took my order and felt very safe as a coeliac. Food was incredible and reasonably priced
We went here on a first table deal so we had it at half price but the food was amazing would have no problem paying full 🙂 the hummus gnocchi was out of this world. They also had loads of gluten free options.
