It's definitely my favorite place. The staff is very attentive. Besides being gluten-free, we also look for nut-free products since one of our daughters is allergic, and they've always explained which ones are fine and which aren't, packaging things separately.
The bakery is gluten-free, so there's no risk of cross-contamination.
For the most delicious treats, the puff pastry and egg yolk palmiers and the "pink panthers" are so delicious!
You don't need to order online; they have a physical store. They're located in the same building as the bakery. Wonderful.
One of the best pizzerias in Santander without a doubt, many varieties of pizza, pasta, gluten-free and vegan options. The dough feels good and they are delicious. The deal is fantastic, I really encourage you to give it a chance.
Good afternoon.
Restaurant for celiacs and non-celiacs, out of 10.
Staff very attentive to the issue of gluten since they control it very well and, most importantly, cross contamination.
Abundant portions.
We will be back.
I've been spending my summers in Santander for seven years, and I always eat lunch or dinner at this restaurant. It's perfect for us: excellent, varied food of exquisite quality, and suitable for those with celiac disease. A special mention to Adolfo, the waiter, who was attentive to everything, friendly, and always had a smile. He's a true professional; I think it's hard to find them. Thank you, Adolfo.
I am celiac and I normally have problems eating outside my house. This restaurant is great, we ordered the nachos with chicken and guacamole, cochinita pibil tacos and the red enchiladas, all very delicious. Excellent value for money.
The food was good but we ordered gluten-free and despite it being delicious there must have been cross contamination and both of us with celiac disease got sick.
It is important that if there are gluten-free options there is no contamination because then it is like not having options for celiacs.
When you go to a place that has half the menu with gluten-free options, you trust it and think that it is going to be done well.
It's annoying because it's not easy to find places with gluten-free options.
DELICIOUS GLUTEN FREE WAFFLES. First time I found waffles for celiacs and they were delicious, in addition to being huge. All ice creams are also gluten-free. The charming and very attentive worker.
Very delicious food and the owner was very attentive, they prepared adapted gluten-free dishes for us and we didn't have any problems. Highly recommended
The truth is, we went with expectations that weren't met. We thought the price was a bit high for what they offered. The service was unfriendly, and the coffee was very average. I wouldn't go back, although I did like the gluten-free bread.
Pretty good food. We had to share a salad (quite large by the way for one person and we chose a medium one for both of us and there were already plenty of leftovers). The price of the salad was good for the quantity. Then the pasta dish with cheese, quite expensive for pasta and salty. Expensive drinks, especially gluten-free.
We have eaten the menu of the day several times, which is great, but on this occasion it had few gluten-free options and we didn't fancy any of them. So we ate a pudding a la carte that was quite good and a huge turbot (we were 2 people and although they showed it to us before cooking, they did not warn us of its great weight, no more and no less than 2.2kg). The turbot itself was not bad, but it had almost no flavor, no salt or garlic or anything, and although it had some good baker's potatoes as an accompaniment. For what we paid for the turbot, it seemed quite excessive to me, just over €100 for the turbot alone. I've eaten it in other places and it's much better than here, so I don't recommend it.
Of course, they offered us to take what was left over, which was like another ration, and so we did. Making a little sautéed garlic at home changed things a lot. Despite everything, I don't give it a bad rating, because I consider that it was something punctual and I have to say that the menu is very good.
The ice creams are very good. We asked about the gluten-free ice creams and he told us which ones they had, plus the allergens are marked on the ice cream signs (although there were several without signs but it may be because we arrived when they just opened).
My only complaint is that they put a cookie in the ice cream that obviously has gluten in it. Normally when I ask about allergens they ask me if I want a cookie or they don't give me one at all.
We reserved a table for 2 by phone, a guy helped us, he reserved the table for us for 2:30 p.m. When we arrive at the restaurant (after a 49-minute drive) they tell us that our reservation is not recorded. We showed them the phone record, and when they checked their cell phone, the call was also recorded. To all this, today, Saturday, December 7, in the middle of the long weekend in Santander at 2 in the afternoon, they left us without a table, without a place to eat and my mother being celiac (which is always more complicated to find where to eat). Also, with a reservation at 16:00 for a visit to a museum.
In short, the service was terrible, they left us stranded and the only option was bar service.
Truly outstanding service. They treated us incredibly, very attentive. There was a celiac patient and they were very attentive to that. It didn't stand out for the food but it was good.
Disastrous experience in the corner of Valle Real. There are no gluten-free options, except for 1 muffin that you don't know how long it's been in the jar. We have ordered 2 coffees, 1 warm and the other with oat milk... No attention is paid to cross contamination between milks and lousy coffee
Four people had dinner, two of whom were celiac, and everything went smoothly.
Delicious and different.
Highly recommended.
The service was unbeatable.
Mamasana is a real hit if you're looking for fresh, fast, and delicious food in Santander. Their pokes stand out for their quality and variety of ingredients: from bases like white or brown rice to proteins like marinated tuna, salmon, or crispy chicken, all combined with toppings and sauces that enhance every bite. The customizable bowl option allows you to tailor each dish to your tastes or dietary needs, including vegan and gluten-free options.
The service is exceptional: the staff is friendly, attentive, and efficient, ensuring a pleasant experience from the moment you walk in. The restaurant's atmosphere is modern and welcoming, ideal for a casual meal or takeout.
The service is excellent and the food is very delicious. They prepare GLUTEN-FREE RABAS, a typical Santander dish that is difficult to eat for celiacs 👌
TOP service and spectacular food... they were incredibly attentive to my celiac son, as when they served him the meatballs, they served him two scallops so he wouldn't feel sick... a great touch!!
Charming Italian, decoration very consistent with the place, delicious food, medium/high prices but they correspond to the quality. I would return without a doubt. Another point in favor, a large part of the menu is GLUTEN FREE and without charging an additional fee.
They are not specialists in gluten-free cakes, but they know the subject very well and are careful about cross contamination. To drink there they have some options for celiacs, and a wide range if it is by order. Very good attention.
5 well-deserved stars! Yesterday, December 17, 2024, we celebrated my Department's Christmas lunch there, and it was truly fantastic. I was in charge of organizing the meal, and from the beginning, when I contacted the person in charge, everything was incredibly attentive, including ordering the menu and answering any questions via email. Yesterday, the food was delicious. In our case, one of us had to eat gluten-free food, and they perfectly explained which dishes we could eat and which we couldn't. Since we couldn't eat croquettes, they were kind enough to bring out something suitable in its place. Throughout the meal, the service was top-notch, and the waiter who served us proved to be a true professional. Afterwards, as we were having a long conversation after dinner, a young lady continued serving us, who was once again super friendly and attentive to us at all times. 100% recommend this place for everything! We will definitely return. Thank you very much.
A wonderful restaurant, from the food—delicious and generously portioned—to the service, especially from Kini, who took our order. Also, as a side note, they have gluten-free bread, and many dishes on the menu are easy to order.
We found the place a bit by chance and how lucky we were.
Delicious burgers and with the option to order them gluten-free, which in our case is what we were looking for.
We went with our dog and since they don't have a terrace there was no problem for us to enter with him (medium size).
Attention of 10.
Highly recommended for celiac and non-celiac people.
A great and very pleasant dinner. Very young and friendly staff. To add a drawback, maybe the service was a little slow, but the rest was great. Very correct portions and good quality of food. They had many gluten free options and some they could adapt. The best gluten-free bread I have ever tried.
Great experience.
Nice place in the center of Santander.
It has a series of quite elaborate dishes with a correct size and a price, although high, in line with what is offered.
The treatment was exquisite.
Very tasty food.
The perfect environment.
They were also very attentive to a diner's gluten intolerance, recommending one dish or another and offering gluten-free bread that came unopened 👏
Great treatment, exquisite food and they have adapted to a celiac person, transmitting security in each dish. Highly recommended.
The pairing of the tasting was very successful.
The service was excellent, especially thanks to Lucas, who looked after us in a very friendly and professional manner. The food was delicious, with gluten-free options for celiacs, ensuring there was no cross contamination. Without a doubt, we will return and we recommend it.
I hadn't been there for a few years, more specifically since they were at the previous location. I was very pleasantly surprised by the change, especially as far as the menu is concerned. It's almost all gluten-free, including the desserts, which are delicious, and they have gluten-free beer!! He hadn't had a drink in centuries. The pokes have improved a lot, especially in the quality of the ingredients. The staff is super friendly and there is a very good atmosphere. 100% recommended, and from today my first option for poke in Santander. Looking forward to returning.
Excellent option. They have many gluten-free options and adapt others. They have gluten-free bread and several desserts. The food is 10 and although it is not cheap, it is worth it for the quality they offer. The waiters who served us were very professional and friendly.
Brilliant! I have celiac disease and the tortilla is made in clean oil and on top of that the boss came and offered me gluten-free toast. Very attentive. And the tortilla is quite delicious. #celiac #glutenfree
Everything was perfect.
Good food and service.
We had a celiac patient with us, and they told her which dishes she could eat, and everything was great.
The place is simple, it is not accessible since to enter you have to go down several steps and to go to the bathroom you have to climb stairs. We ate some patatas bravas that were made gluten-free for celiacs.
