Fun little vegan and gluten-free cafe. The staff working were friendly and kind.
It is a small place and the serves are to the smaller side, too. Maybe more of a snack and treat spot I’d say. We came for lunch and had a pizza and burger plus cake and smoothies and drinks and weren’t full after. The rainbow cake looks beautiful, but wasn’t too flavorful. Tiramisu was more enjoyable. Great alternative cafe if on the search for gluten-free and vegan or dairyfree sweat and savory treats!
Amazing. We ordered two savory and two sweet crepes and their matcha lattes. Everything was delicious and the staff is so friendly. The place is small so go early for seats.
Excellent place for people with celiac disease! Everything is gluten-free and delicious. We tried the pepperoni pizza, a baguette, a bacon braid, and a kind of vegan curry-filled bun. It's a small takeout place, although there are a couple of benches outside where you can eat. The guy is very friendly and speaks perfect English.
100% recommended, but we recommend getting there early because they're so fast.
Amazing! Amazing! Lovely staff and a cosy little cafe. We arrived late in the day, 5.30 (close at 6pm) and they accommodated us for a quick dessert.
They had sold out of their rice flour bread so couldn’t get the sandwiches. Highly recommend.
I happened to come across a gluten-free bakery so I went there with my husband. Everything looked delicious and it was hard to choose. The staff were friendly and very likable. When I received the bread, some were warm and I couldn't resist, so I tried them on a bench in a nearby square. They were plump and had the aroma of rice flour and were delicious. I'm going to buy some more now. I hope they still have some left.
Saved our trip! My son is gluten free, and Japan (largely) is not. It was very hard to find food for him, and other gluten free shops either weren’t really gluten free, or just tasted bad, had very small menus, or were closed when they said they were open. But Biossa had exactly what we needed. Good, fresh, delicious gluten free bread, muffins, baguettes, and croissants! That way we could pack and carry the breads around Tokyo, so my son could eat almost anywhere (by swapping out the provided breads with these gluten free ones). Game-changing. Thanks Biossa!
Had lunch here today, phenomenal curry. Our waitress informed us the cafe is closing for 2 months and will only serve coffee and gluten free cake going forward. No more meals.

This place is amazing. A quick walk from Kichijōji
station, there's several pleasant spots to tuck in and eat. My wife is celiac and she had a life-restoring Ratatouille moment of eating a cake and creampuff unlike anything she had eaten since she was young in Europe and able to have gluten. Thank you so much for a great treat!
i loved eating here so much i came back the next day. incredible gluten free cafe with great coffee and veggie options.
the french toast was the best i have ever had. and the folks working were incredibly kind and helpful. the space itself was very cute and calming.
i loved the egg sandwich.

A very delicious vegan cake shop❤️
Located opposite the Shinjuku Gyoen front entrance.
Ordered○Banana tart バナナタルト 950 yen (tax included)
●Very smooth and delicious, with a European style cake flavor.
Vegan and gluten-free, but still feels super delicious.
●The cream is also very smooth.
♡You can order a whole cake, book 3 days in advance.
■Hope to book a whole cake for myself at one time😆
It is definitely not street food and the prices may be slightly higher than average. However, everything was delicious, the portions were just right in quantity according to Japanese standards and above all everything was vegan and gluten-free. I would definitely go back
Very delicious food. Since the portions were rather small, we ordered again. We thought it was good value for money. Gluten-free dishes were clearly marked on the menu, and there was a large selection, including cakes!
I ate here no more than 20 minutes ago and it was wonderful. It’s difficult to find gluten free places in Japan, especially along with being vegan - This restaurant was lovely, the food was great and the staff are so kind, friendly and sweet.
We had the lunch plates (where you basically get to try a bit of everything, everywhere should do that am I right?!), donut, chocolate waffle and regular waffle - Everything was so nice, I’m vegetarian and my partner is a meat eater, we loved all of it but had opposite favourites to one another so it’s definitely worth a try!
Enjoy everyone!
If you’re gluten-free and in Okinawa this spot is a MUST. I was searching for GF options and couldn't believe the entire menu here is gluten-free. As someone with both gluten and dairy allergies, dining out in Japan can be a challenge but this restaurant went above and beyond.
Definitely make a reservation in advance. We tried to walk in on our first night, but they were fully booked. Thankfully, the staff was very kind and helped us secure a reservation for the following evening. It’s a prix fixe menu, and when I mentioned my dairy allergy, the owner was incredibly accommodating and customized the entire experience for me. That kind of care is rare in Japan and truly appreciated.
The food was exceptional, Italian dishes made with care, with an excellent wine selection and I highly recommend the wine pairing. The flavors, presentation, and attention to detail made it one of the best meals I’ve had anywhere. Bonus: they sell their gluten-free bread to take home which was such a treat to have for the rest of my trip.
The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, run by a hardworking local couple who made us feel so welcome. You can tell they genuinely love what they do. This place is a standout for anyone but especially a dream for gluten-free travelers in Japan.
100% gluten free and vegan donut shop. Everything was so delicious. They also sell gluten free ramen packs that are nice to have on the go just in case.
The açaí bowl was very good; however, we found the service disinterested and the atmosphere lacking. If you’re in the area and need a gluten-free bite, it’s worth a stop, but I wouldn’t recommend going out of your way to visit this location.
All of the carefully prepared dishes were delicious!
The gluten-free pasta was well-flavored, the dashi soy sauce had a mild taste, and the salmon pasta had a nice yuzu flavor.
The soy milk amazake soft serve ice cream was mellow and not at all heavy, and went really well with the strong espresso.
We had a delicious gluten free galette. The gluten free muffins are very tasty as well. The owner is kind and the restaurant is small and nice. We highly recommend!
I always come here when I come to Osaka.
I don't know how many times I've been there.
It's easy for even an old man to enter by himself. The atmosphere is calm and comfortable.
The location is in the middle of nowhere, but it's worth coming just for this shop.
I tried almost everything on the menu, but on this day I ordered the power bowl and soup set for 1,580 yen. It's a little pricey, but it really fills you up. It's loaded with vegetables and almost gluten-free.
After eating, I noticed the seasonal menu posted on the wall. Brown rice risotto set! I should have done this! !
I will go again.

I couldn’t believe there was such a famous sweets store in Kameido! I ordered a chiffon whole cake. It's so delicious that you can't believe it's gluten-free (rice flour). Plus the sweetness of the fruit. Above all, the deliciousness of fresh cream! The best in everything!
Very tasty food with gluten free options. The service is slower than the typical ramen-style restaurants where they get you in and out quickly but that didn't bother us.
Really loved this place! I’m a very sensitive coeliac but despite the small risk of cross contamination I was totally fine and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. I even ordered a dessert crepe afterwards seeing as the ice cream was gf too!
Service was quick and the staff were lovely - I was informed that they had cleaned the plate they cook the crepes on but that they couldn’t guarantee it was safe - which was nice to see they understand the severity of coeliac and still try to accomodate! Safe to say it was well worth the slight risk

Great quality dessert. I am gluten free and could order a dessert. However, many of the options include almond flour. If you have a nut allergy, please be careful.
YALL. Run don’t walk to this bakery. Not only was everything dairy and gluten free but everything, but one dessert, was nut free too! Wow. I highly recommend the black sesame waffle ice cream.
I want to come back again 💕
Komekuma Cafe, located in Susukino-cho, Chuo-ku, Sagamihara-shi, Kanagawa Prefecture, is a truly "dream-like space" where you can enjoy sweets and breads made with rice flour. It has an unquestionable rating of 5 stars. Especially for me, who had temporarily refrained from wheat, this shop, which offers high-quality bread and cakes that do not use any wheat, was a place that healed both my mind and body.
It is truly surprising that while it has the "heavy satisfaction" that is unique to rice flour, it does not make you feel heavy after eating and does not make you feel heavy the next day. It is satisfying to eat, but has a light aftertaste, and has a gentle taste that makes you want to eat it as much as you want. Among them, the "Oreo Cake", which is a reproduction of Oreo with rice flour, is exquisite and a masterpiece that you will want to repeat every time you visit. Seasonal limited menus are also available, so one of the fun things is that you will encounter something new every time you go.
The interior of the store is clean and decorated with many polar bear motifs, making it a very cute space. The attention to detail is apparent in the atmosphere, and just being there will naturally make you smile.
And above all, the greatest charm of this cafe is that you can really feel the owner's love for rice flour. Not only is he particular about the ingredients and manufacturing methods, but every dish is infused with his warm feelings for his customers, and I am truly moved every time I visit.
Komekuma Cafe is gluten-free but does not compromise on flavor, making it a great cafe that we would recommend not only to those with wheat restrictions, but to all sweets lovers.
Excellent burgers and very interesting desserts, they also have gluten-free sandwiches so they can satisfy even those who need gluten-free. Service as always friendly, water included, prices slightly higher than average but worth it.
A great place for gluten free crepes. Incredibly tasty food, with great presentation. The staff are so friendly! It’s a very small and cozy place. It’s cash only so bring cash!

As soon as we arrived at the fish market, we stopped at this pastry shop and tasted some sweets, even gluten-free ones, we liked them a lot. Gluten-free they have cheesecake and ice cream with Macha while for those who were not celiac they have cream puffs that are delicious so we recommend it for everyone.
We had an excellent time at niceness and I can best describe the experience as peaceful. The food is all organic, gluten-free and vegan and all grown on their family farm. The transfer of the ingredients from the earth to the plate is both meticulous and seamless and you can even watch the magic happen while you wait. The tea we had was perhaps the best tea we’ve ever had and the local honey used to sweeten it was good enough to buy from their small gift shop. A bonus was that a part of the proceeds go to increasing nectar plants on the island. Perhaps the highlight was the incorporation of nature into the restaurant and outdoor seating area which made for a wonderful ambiance that would alone be worth returning for. We loved the food, the service and the atmosphere and will definitely be back.
It is located in a building directly connected to a subway station. This time I had a gluten-free sandwich.
The sandwich, which mainly consisted of lightly seasoned vegetables, ham, and shimeji mushrooms, was delicious. It may be suitable for those who prefer a lighter seasoning.
There were also handmade items for sale and a take-out menu. The clientele is classy and calm, so you can relax.
The decorations and vessels are so elaborate that it looks like a museum.
Recommended for those who like this kind of atmosphere!

Very chewy😳
Black sesame was released before and was very popular, but it seems like it's back for a limited time!
The flavor of sesame was very good ✨
Donuts are made from okara 🍩
It's so moist that you can't believe it's an okara donut ☺️
This deliciousness is amazing without using 7 allergens!
Ice cream uses organic soy milk to reduce calories
Rich ice cream without milk, eggs, or flour🥰
I use soy milk, but you can really taste the pistachios.
The plain waffle was more crunchy, so maybe the chewiness of the waffle varies depending on the flavor🤔
The white-based stand looks like the Mediterranean and is stylish 🏝️
"I'm looking for a souvenir with a cute package."
"I want to eat gluten-free sweets"
“I want to enjoy sweets even if I have allergies.”
Recommended for those who 🙌
A restaurant where you can eat delicious vegan food.
I came here with my child who doesn't like meat.
I ordered a lunch course, but the number of appetizers was
Children can taste many different kinds.
I was very happy!
It’s hard to believe that the pasta noodles are gluten-free.
It was delicious, so I visited the manufacturer and was shown the product, and it turned out to be organic gluten-free pasta.
I don't think it was written as organic on the menu, so it may change again, but I felt that they were particular about it, even though it was probably quite expensive compared to similar products.
It's vegan, gluten-free, healthy, and reasonably priced, so it's become my favorite restaurant.
The staff at the hall were very attentive.
This is a recommended point!
I will visit you again, thank you very much.
Very cute small takeaway store. Cash only, gluten free chiffon cakes, and low gluten (not gluten free) baguettes. The staff said the bread contains 10% wheat flour.
The plain, hojicha, adzuki and mugwort flavour cakes were very good!
