This was a gluten free need for me , but was not let down . The food and everything was fantastico ! Highly recommended . Quiet , away from the busy streets …. Great on a hot day & speak English ok. Ian
In the center of Bologna, very convenient, with tables both inside and under the portico. They make piadinas and pinzas with gluten free dough. The staff is very kind and fast.
As a celiac I was excited to try a gluten free restaurant in Italy and was not disappointed. The owners were so welcoming and explained the whole menu to us. Also great that my son could have gluten pasta. I had freshly made tortellini al ragu, something you’d never get gf anywhere! And it was amazing! Also on offer were gf beer. And a great selection of wines!
Parsit is the place that every celiac would like to have in their city.
A welcoming and clean place, with a wide menu, the owners are simply fantastic, their smiles warm the heart!
I went there two days in a row during a short stay in Bologna and I tried the traditional Kebab, the one with Pastrami and a plate of Falafel.
The products are very good, the portions are generous and the attention to gluten-free is very high; although the place does not have a separate kitchen I have not had any problems in any of my visits.
If you are in Bologna and above all you are celiac, this stop is a must, you will not regret it!
What can I say... delicious gluten-free pizza... very nice and welcoming location... excellent service and impeccable welcome... strong point the waitress Chiara... a polite person, very nice, sunny and fun... highly recommended...
Lots of gluten-free options, I went there for an aperitif and had tigelle with a cutting board. Everything was very good, very kind and friendly staff. I highly recommend booking. The only flaw is the price, in my opinion a bit high compared to the quantity given.
This restaurant was recommended by The Guardian and it's reviews were good. We arrived without a reservation and were able to sit outside.
Service was friendly and prompt. We had gluten free pasta Ragu which was very tasty and pasta cooked perfectly. My husband had sausage pasta which was also nice but pasta was a little too al dente but still tasty.
I didn't fancy any of the desserts as only the chocolate cake was gluten free and I'm not a fan of chocolate cake. They did offer to do me a bowl of strawberries, which were delicious and very large portion. Wine and local beer very good and service good. Bill came to €50. Would definitely recommend.
This was a truly perfect meal, I could not recommend it more! Wanted to try everything on the menu but couldn't be more pleased with what we got! (Tortellini en brodo, ragu, lasagna on special, gramigna with sauage) They also had delicious gluten free pasta for those needing. The staff was so kind and welcoming. Call for a reservation!
This prosciutto shop can be a typical place to enjoy excellent platters of cured meats and cheeses, also waiting for the gluten free. Characteristic place
We came across it by chance but we were really surprised, the place was lovely and the staff were very knowledgeable and very kind. The food was really excellent and with different choices for vegetarians, vegans and celiacs.
Recommended house wines
I celebrated my graduation in this restaurant with family and friends. All the courses were delicious and plentiful, the owner and the waiters were uniquely kind and helpful. They are also available for those with dietary restrictions, in fact two of us were vegetarians and one was gluten intolerant and they also offered us some very good options. Advise!
Really lovely cafe, lush cosy queer-friendly vibes. Soft jazz in the background. Lots of locals (probably students) quietly working on laptops to one side of the cafe. We had a delicious savoury tart (vegan and gluten free) as their kitchen is closed between 3.30 and 7pm so couldn’t have proper lunch, but there is counter cakes and tarts available when the kitchen is closed. Tasty kombucha options and they do matcha lattes which seem hard to across in Bologna. Great spot!
Really good and non-trivial vegan dishes, the menu is mixed but with a fair presence of vegan options and some gluten-free ones. Ideal if you are looking for a place that pleases everyone, without sacrificing taste :)
Fabulous little place in the center of Bologna, super suitable for celiacs, we ate the real small gluten-free Bolognese tortellini with parmesan cream. Very friendly staff and owner. Ballanzoni and tagliatelle Bolognese, not for celiacs, fabulous and also an appetizer of cold cuts and fried gnocco equally phenomenal.....go there, it's worth it...really
It's misleading to write gluten-free options which then send you away if you have celiac disease. Plus the girls aren't the most friendly. Not recommended

You told me the first time that there was the possibility of contamination, I said okay and sat down, then another lady came to reiterate the concept, so was it me who wanted to leave or was it you who didn't have want to let me eat in your restaurant? Unfortunately we know that if the cuisine is unique there can be contamination, you just need to be very careful, which you probably don't want to do. Also, there are few restaurants that have double kitchens but they are happy to pay attention. However, I repeat that it is not recommended for celiacs.
We had dinner here 2 evenings and it was exceptional, top notch food, friendly service and also gluten-free preparation, very kind staff, they make you feel as if you were at home, highly recommended.
Excellent food and service!
They also have gluten-free! (Tagliatelle with Bolognese ragù, and more)
Unfortunately the area where it is located leaves a little to be desired!
One of the highlights on our Bologna trip 🇮🇹
From the start you feel the passion in the people at Oltre. They love food and they want you to have a good time. The menu is delicious and they can even commodate glutenfree alternatives. Their regú is exceptional.
Also a shout-out to their bartender and sommelier. They did Such a fine job in making it an experience to remember.
And a funny little detail was they had Street Fighter in the basement 🔥
Very good Roman cuisine restaurant! I recommend the first courses, which respect tradition.
Comfortable environment and excellent service.
I would like to point out the gluten free option!
Who in their right mind serves raw beef to humans? Even if this is a traditional food for bears or wolves, people should know what a "steak" means in their menu. At least warn clients that they are about to pay for dog food. Warining others about allergies and gluten BS, but not warning anyone they are about to be served animal food is the lowest insult.
Restaurant with lots of seating close to the centre. Good first courses, not very fast service. Excellent for those who have not booked in advance and are looking for a place in the centre.
Adequate prices given the proximity to the center
. Note on gluten-free dishes!
We had a gluten-free vegetarian burger and a pizza.
The quality of the product really shines through. The flavors are mild and it feels light on the stomach (good digestion).
I would describe it as different and original, although it wasn't spectacular.
Still, it's worth trying :)
The guy who served us was very nice :) Thanks!!
A Saturday lunch in the heart of the center of Bologna, everything perfect; by the kindness of the staff, an excellent traditional Bolognese menu, the elegant but not stuffy environment.
Possibility of gluten-free pasta.
The only negative point was the slowness of the kitchen.
There are various GLUTEN FREE choices! A super characteristic environment, from the cool internal courtyard covered for the warmer season to the welcoming basement that takes you back to a medieval era. Abundant and very good food, the careful choice of ingredients is evident in all dishes. Affordable prices and finally excellent wines. Super recommended!
GLUTEN FREE burgers
I have already eaten their sandwiches several times and they are very good, all choices have the possibility of being made with gluten-free bread for a surcharge, but in any case the food is very good. Obviously it's not an AIC place because they heat the bread on the same griddle, but the shop assistants are super prepared and say so as soon as you ask for the variation.
Finally a cash free restaurant in the big European cities, it's about time civilization arrived here too!
The only flaw: the gluten-free sandwiches always arrive cold, whether they are ordered or taken on the spot.
Super cute and cozy place! Delicious food, subscription portions and there is enough choice. Seating both inside and out. I particularly appreciated the menus on display with information for those following vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free diets; the ingredients of the sauces etc. are also marked. Behind the balcony two young and kind guys, well done!
The best ever!
Franco Rossi Catering is a real guarantee!
He served each of the 250 guests at our wedding excellently. He handled every need and alternative menu impeccably, professionally and thoughtfully (we had about 5 alternative menus to the main one: vegetarian, celiac, children's menu, blank menu and a menu for particular allergies).
The contact person for the entire organization was Giuseppe, friendly and helpful, he followed us from the initial contact to the choice of the mise en place, the menu and the wines. Also present for the entire duration of the reception, he was always a point of reference and managed every moment of the evening perfectly. The dining room staff was impeccable, careful to ensure that nothing was ever missing for anyone, from drinking at the table to serving the elderly by hand during the aperitif. They were quick with their service and allowed us to get back on schedule despite our initial delay. Excellent kitchen staff! For both the aperitif and the dinner we received compliments from all the guests. We were really very happy and we will not fail to recommend Franco Rossi both as a caterer and as a restaurant.
Thank you very much again for making our day special and unique and for making our guests feel good!
See you soon,
Michael and Mila
