I have Celiac and this place was outstanding. I immediately let the server know I have Celiac and asked about the dedicated fryer and cross contact and she confirmed and said everything can be made gluten free except for the mushroom 'escargot'. The food was absolutely incredible. We got the slow cheetah drink, sweet corn hummus, moroccan onion dip, Big Eye Tuna & Summer Melon, Feta & Olives, Crispy Potatoes, and Lamb & Beef Kefta. All amazing, and I think our favorite of the lot was the moroccan onion dip. They have house made gluten free crackers for the hummus dips that were very delicious and crunchy. I always wait to write my reviews until the next day when I know I'm not sick from being glutened, and can confirm I did not get glutened here. Wish I took more pics of the food!
We got two small deepdish one of them glutenfree. Delicious and hearty! The crust tasted like a proper bakery pie that could be your breakfast. Service was a bit off, our host would take his time just taking our order and gave the impression that he was stonex
My boyfriendās son has severe peanut and tree nut allergies as well as Celiacs. We called the day before and the manager, Jennifer, walked through the meticulous precautions they take to make sure he can eat safely. She went out of her way to watch for and make a note on our reservation. From the moment we stepped in the restaurant everyone was aware of his allergies and they even have a dedicated gluten-fee menu. Jennifer checked in with us and made sure we were doing well. The food was phenomenal, the service was phenomenal, and we were so grateful to be able to dine somewhere that truly understood his allergies. Highly recommend this restaurant! Thank you!
Maggiano was great! Not only was the food delicious, the service was excellent. I had the chicken saltimbocca. When seated, the waiter asked about if anyone had any food sensitivities and Iām severely gluten intolerant. He then invited the chef to come out to talk to me about my allergies/ sensitivity which was pleasantly surprising. Most chefs never do that.
Overall, my boyfriend and I had a great time eating here. Iāll definitely come back again the next time I get to visit Chicago.
Great experience at Pizzeria Uno. Medium deep dish easily feeds 2 people. Numero Uno pizza was delicious. All the toppings were cooked perfectly and were so fresh. We ordered bbq chicken pizza with gluten free crust and the gluten free crust is thinner than the regular deep dish.
Delicious food. One of the most flavorful fast food places I have tried in a long time. Made fresh to order, delivered quickly and accurately, and great service made the visit enjoyable. Also, a completely Gluten-Free restaurant. I had the Sweet BBQ bowl with chicken, and would gladly order it again.
I'm gluten free and they took my restriction very seriously and were so thoughtful and kind! There's gluten free pasta and plenty of dishes to choose from. Customer service was 10/10!!

Our family of 5 had the pleasure of dining at Bavetteās in Chicago last night. From the beginning they were very accommodating. Our server Steven was knowledgeable about the menu and even gave me gluten sensitive subs as requested. He was also kind when my son (8) hit his soda over by accident (we know this is annoying) this was important to us as our son already felt bad about it. His recommendation for the main lobster for our 10 yo son was spot on for what he wanted. The truffle Mac and cheese was a huge hit with everyone. Steaks came out perfectly cooked the entire way through - we ordered 3 different steaks with different requests. Highly recommend and if you get Stevens section I know you wonāt be disappointed

Absolutely loved this place! The food was 100% vegan with a few gluten free options as well! Everything had a great flavour and tasted very fresh! There was limited parking on the street.

this was the most delectable experience ever!! all the food was so fresh it felt like i could taste its source. my friends and i were taking photos of our amazing meal and thenā¦the manager comes over and asks if we would want to tag them in a post with one of their desserts on the house!! of course we agreed and not only was the dessert amazing but it was also vegan and gluten free along with many of the options on the menu. my friend who is vegan and gluten free and she said there was plenty of options for her and the staff was extremely accommodating! our waiter also went through the menu and explained everything in through detail since it was our first time. so overall 100/10 experience!!
My sister has celiac and hasnāt had fried chicken in over 20 years. She ordered it and was absolutely blown away at how delicious it was. The executive chef came to our table to ask how the meal was for her. The manager spoke with us and was very friendly attentive. She sent us a gluten free dessert to enjoy. This was one of the most enjoyable meals and experience we have ever had. The staff are exceptional.
Beautiful Italian restaurant. They offer courses, so take your time and enjoy the food. They have delicious gluten-free options. I would absolutely dine with them again. It's an elegant yet family-friendly atmosphere. And I really appreciate that they didn't rush us out when we finished our meal, and let us wait for our Uber at the table.
Despite knowing the dish I wanted couldn't be made gluten free, they accommodated my request and were able to make it as gluten free as possible. The blood orange mimosas were amazing and we didn't have to wait long to get refills on our drinks. The manager came around to check on the tables which made it that much more personable.
This was one of my best experiences in Chicago, the food is awesome, the waiter was super kind and helpful when explaining the gluten free options and the vibes and music are amazing. Highly recommended if you are around the River North area

Great find for easy Italian food. Gluten free menu. Decent selection including gluten free pasta. Our server was cheerful and excited to talk with us. Would highly recommend for an easy affordable Italian dinner.
Admittedly pricey even for a raw vegan restaurant, but overall fantastic raw vegan food! I'm also impressed that they even changed the pizza to make it gluten free using Cassava! My only complaint, albeit a big one, is I wish they used maple syrup or monk fruit instead of agave nectar. Best raw vegan restaurant in Chicago hands down!

This is a beautiful coffee shop and Iām happy we got to stop in but my only issue is, is that I assumed I would get more help with knowing my options for gluten free drinks. I had email them prior and they told me Iād be able to get help once I was there so that was my plan but once I got up there and asked if the coffee I wanted was gluten free she wasnāt sure so she went and asked when she came back to me she said it wasnāt. So then I asked her if she could tell me what my options were and then she had to ask them again which they told me I could only get a drink with milk, honey and espresso. They were super busy and I was very rushed. The drink was good but I was expecting a much better experience especially when I was told Iād have options. They do have gluten free bakery options but I didnāt get any of those and they do share a case with all the other items so keep that in mind. Lovely coffee shop just probably isnāt the best option for someone with a gluten allergy.
Definitely the best meal we've ever ate, our entire lives. Had the gem green salad and it was massive! Didn't even finish it (it was a little dry but the pears were spiced and super delicious) the carrots with the feta are special and we could have just ate them all night...had the bone marrow and was blown away by the flavors. My husband got the short ribs and enjoyed every bite as well. I have celiacs and usually get contamination but felt great after this meal! We would have gotten dessert but had reservations elsewhere, so looking forward to coming back to enjoy a gf dessert.

I ordered delivery from home so that it would arrive when I got to work downtown. The order came right on time, hot, delicious and with napkins, plastic cutlery and extra chili sauce. I could not have been more delighted. Tom Kha w/shrimp soup and Tom Sum salad were prepared perfectly and all the flavors were in balance! I appreciate how the menu gives allergen information. Iām Gluten Free and was able to clearly see which dishes would be safe for me to eat. Thank you, Star of Siam! I will be a repeat customer for sure!
How to sum it up, let's say I will back in September I hope as I was blown away with their special and they even had great gluten free pasta. For two people you won't break over 50$ which is very surprising. This is by far best pasta I've had since I last visited chicago.
No doubts they have a great outdoor seating but my little one is messy haha

Probably the best dinner I've ever had at a restaurant. Extremely gluten free friendly! Yura made amazing recommendations for us, including adding the side of bone marrow to our wagyu steak dinner. It is a must try! Additionally, we were seated in a really nice, quiet spot near a window, which we absolutely loved and appreciated.
Out of three days we spent in Chicago and 4 restaurants, Roka Akor was the only place that told my boyfriend happy birthday and brought him dessert - I had made notes on all the reservations, even a Michelin starred place, ignored it.
We came for restaurant week but will most certainly be back! Thanks again Yura :)
I have a gluten-sensitivity - wheat allergy. When I came in, asked our waitress if there's any way the chefs can make me a "deconstructed lasagna"; basically all the yumminess of the filling with the GF noodles.
The waitress came back and said the chefs would love to attempt something like that.
It was DELICIOUS!! I will definitely be going back when I'm in Chicago again in a couple of months.
Everyone there was over the top wonderful! The waitress, the host, the chefs, (obviously). The atmosphere was chill and fun.

Clean seating areas, clean bathrooms. Food is amazing as always. As a celiac, I love that I can get a gluten free bun. I've never gotten sick eating here (gluten wise). Coming from MN this is a must stop!
Fun environment! One staff member especially deserves a gold star for assisting me. I asked them 1,000 questions, verifying that the food I ordered was gluten-free and they continuously assured me. And they were right! The rice side was very good.

We ordered a Gluten free crust pizza for delivery and the pizza was not cooked through, it was doughy and inedible. I left friendly feedback on their website and the response back was "Sorry the GF wasn't cooked enough."
That's it, no offer of a refund or any consolation. I understand stuff happens, but the pizza and service response was disappointing to say the least, seems like they don't really care about their customers.
