I don't think I've ever had my food served faster.
It's not a 10-star place, but a 100-star place; everything was delicious. Plus, being able to go with our celiac friend and the vegetarian is a plus, because we always go a little crazy trying to find somewhere. This was a real discovery.
A very good experience. The food was incredible, especially if you're looking for healthier options, including gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, or vegetarian options. The service was also excellent. I highly recommend the experience!
PS: Everything was very good, but we especially recommend the eggplant lasagna, the lemon fresh drink, and the Vengán Queen dessert (if you really like chocolate).
I've literally been here for seven years, or so, filling the entire tap at different times. It hasn't changed a bit since the first day I discovered it. It's good, quality craft beer, and excellent service.
They have gluten-free beer of the highest quality.
It's such a pleasure. Thank you so much!
The truth is that as a pastry shop for those with intolerances, it's very good and very good. I had some mango cheesecake that was very good and some alfajores. For those with intolerances or celiac disease, it's a perfect place and close to Gran Vía.
We have a child with celiac disease, and eating there caught our attention. For the children there was not a great variety, we could expect some gluten-free pasta, we ordered some chicken fingers, which were honestly very good. We ordered the eggplant with honey, spectacular!, some croquettes, very crunchy and explosive, some chicken and cheese dumplings, very tasty and a good dough. And two hamburgers, 4 cheeses and a double ball, the hamburgers were the only thing that disappointed me, simple and synaesthetic to the meat. For dessert, an artisan cheesecake, which, as the waiter said, was spectacular and I didn't need to add the raspberry jam.
Recommended, for everyone and especially for the intolerable. But I would recommend giving a touch to the meat of the hamburgers. All the best.
I'm celiac and lactose intolerant, and I discovered Kaktus through an online post. It didn't take long for us to visit, and I was disappointed.
To start, the restaurant is beautiful. We were served immediately. The menu is 100% gluten-free and 60% lactose-free. This means you don't have to worry about cross-contamination and can enjoy the experience. The food is completely homemade. The portions are quite generous, and the prices are completely affordable. The desserts are also homemade, and even the bread is delicious! The treatment we received from the staff was unbeatable. They were very attentive at all times and made sure we didn't lack anything. The owner was also very pleasant and friendly.
They provided us with food, atmosphere, service, music... You can't ask for anything more from service. Kaktus has definitely become one of my favorite restaurants. 🖤

We really enjoyed the gluten-free food (you can't even tell it's gluten-free at all). Typical Italian, very delicious. Five of us spent €30 per person for three pizzas, two pasta dishes, and a drink. The service was excellent, and the waiter, Ana (Rizzo), was very kind and attentive to everything. Excellent for both celiac and non-celiac patients. Highly recommended, and right next to the Puerta de Alcalá. Everything was excellent.
It's a luxury to be able to eat everything gluten-free and many things lactose-free. A place with a very pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. I'll definitely be back.
Light food, cooked to order, and gluten-free. Excellent service, very friendly. Rich dishes. Tasty hummus with a special flavor. The eggplants are tender on the inside and crunchy on the outside....
The best pizza I've ever had! 100% gluten-free, excellent service from the waiter Leonardo, very attentive, friendly, and fast. I'll be a regular customer, a pleasant experience.
Everything is gluten-free, delicious, and the portions are generous! (They offer gluten-free bread that they make themselves, and while it's not cheap, it's not that different from the breads they offer elsewhere, and the quality of their own bread is much better.)
I love Veronica. She treated us wonderfully, very friendly, and always smiling.
Highly recommended for celiacs and non-celiacs.
They advise you on everything.
The experience, the food, and the service were incredible!! I thought I'd written a review before, but unfortunately not... so I don't want to pass up this opportunity to recommend this restaurant.
I've been here with my partner (several times) and with my group of friends (12 people + 1 child), some of whom are celiac, and we all had an incredible meal.
They give you great advice, treat you incredibly well, and always leave you wanting to come back. So if you want to go to a Mexican restaurant near Ventas, this is your choice. We'll be back!!!
My favorite cafeteria in Madrid. The food is always delicious and the dishes are original and tasty. The coffee is one of the best I've had in the city.
They almost always have space despite being a small place. I recommend going early in the morning if you don't want to wait (10-15 min).
They have gluten-free bread and many sweets available. Many dishes can be adapted for celiacs and others are directly gluten-free, such as pancakes with bacon, blueberry jam and mascarpone (highly recommended!).
From the beginning, they were very pleasant, and then the service was incredible.
I'm celiac, and they took this into account with a different bread and gluten-friendly appetizers.
The food was delicious and the portions were large. But I definitely recommend the hamburger; the meat was delicious.
A place I always return to. A healthy and varied menu, with vegan and gluten-free options. The burger I ordered was a 10/10. The waiter was very friendly. The atmosphere was relaxing.
Everything was very good! The extensive gluten-free menu is a welcome addition, allowing me to eat with complete peace of mind. The meats and the Milanese are particularly noteworthy. Excellent service.
An ideal brunch spot with gluten-free options. We tried the gluten-free pancakes and they were delicious, fluffy, and well-balanced. Recommended for those looking for a gluten-free breakfast in the center of Madrid.

The Spicy feta salad bowl was delicious and the small side serving of felafel was a very generous portion. Always enjoy eating at Honest Greens and for an early 7pm dinner the service was super quick.
Always a great choice if you need to eat Gluten Free.
Mikaela. Truly one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had in Europe. Gluten free was excellent as well!! Very accommodating and understanding. If you’re here for a night head to this place.
Terrible service. The two girls who worked at the restaurant were completely unsympathetic and served us very reluctantly. It's a shame because the food is good, but the experience is terrible.
They say they have gluten-free options, and I, a celiac, came here. I wanted to order toasted bread with gluten-free bread, and they told me it wasn't possible. They only had toasted bread, which costs over 10 euros. It was the only option, and on top of that, they charge 1.50 for gluten-free bread. They also told me there was cross-contamination, which endangers my health. If they don't have options, they don't have them, that's it. It's theft, and that's not inclusion.
This place serves some of the most delicious brunch plates that I have ever tasted. I highly recommend the Mykonos; it is to die for! The Eggs Benedict dish is also delicious. You can order it with several options. Our family ordered it with smoked salmon and avocado and also with mushrooms and halloumi. They are very good with handling guests' food allergies, my son is allergic to peanuts and all nuts, and my daughter is allergic to gluten and they both had a great selection of plates to choose from. Their coffees are excellent, I had the cappuccino with oat milk and ended up ordering a second one because it was so delicious! My family also tried the golden milk latte and the matcha latte and said they were amazing. The staff is attentive, pleasant, and very knowledgeable of their food selections. Overall, this was an excellent experience; we will definitely be back!
Nice and welcoming place. Very relaxing and full of young people.
Good food, friendly staff.
The gluten-free ones were good even if they didn't have any type of beer.
A nice little surprise in the heart of Lavapiés. Honestly, I went in with no expectations because I can't eat gluten or dairy...
The girl who served me was lovely. She showed me the menu and the options they had for me, and made sure I could eat them. I had a cup of tea and some delicious toast.
Both she and her colleagues were very attentive and friendly.
The place is nice, clean, with plenty of table space, and a very pleasant atmosphere.
I'll definitely go back if I'm ever in Lavapiés again; it's worth it.
I really wanted to go to brunch and I loved it. The food is very delicious and has gluten-free options. The sourdough toast is spectacular and the golden beat is one of the best. The place is small but cozy and the service is very pleasant. The sweets are homemade and very delicious, I recommend the lemon and poppy cake. I will try Acai again.
We had dinner on May 24th.
We waited for almost an hour for our table, with the excuse that they were overwhelmed and couldn't make any more.
We ordered a gluten-free burger, and when they brought it with fries after an hour of waiting, they told us the fries could be cross-contaminated. They switched the fries for nachos, but with the same burger, even though it had already been in contact with the fries...
We ordered the typical cheeseburger with the top (Niagara), and they brought it without the ring or gloves... because they said they didn't have it anymore, when we were there specifically for that burger they advertised so much.
To top it all off, they gave us plastic cups because they said they were out of cups...
That's all.
If they're overwhelmed, don't take so many tables...

It turns out they used to serve gluten-free pancakes, but now they're telling me they won't serve them because they don't want to sand the pancakes. A total disappointment, even though I've been coming to this place for years.
I'm a ball-player who asks for everything lactose-free, gluten-free... And the girls have been very attentive and very nice at all times. Good and healthy food.
One of the nicest places I ate on my visit to Madrid. The staff is very attentive, they take into account the dietary restrictions of people with celiac disease like me and they have quite a few gluten-free options or that can be accommodated and made gluten-free. The menu of the day also accommodates these needs, and both the waiters and the cooks take this into account. The food is delicious (I recommend the fruit soup, very refreshing), and the wait between courses is ideal if you are going to eat calmly and without rushing. They have sprinklers on the terrace for hot seasons, and pleasant music and atmosphere despite being in the epicenter of the city.
I highly recommend it.

Unfortunately, on the store's page they advertise having gluten-free options and once you arrive at the store they tell you that they have gluten-free bread but that there may be cross contamination when preparing it. They offered me the option of not roasting it to avoid taking any risks, which I accepted, but in the end they roasted it for me anyway. Finally I had a reaction to what I had eaten, all due to the lack of professionalism of the establishment, which advertises this option but then does not provide it properly, in the case of something so serious, and when they also charge you an extra for that bread, it seems totally shameful to me.
The place is small and goes unnoticed, however, I went on a recommendation and it was a great success, the sandwiches were delicious. I think part of the menu was with cheese and gluten-free. 100% recommended
Neighborhood cafeteria bar, very nice and good service. Ideal for having some homemade portions. They have a terrace. They serve quickly and well. Reasonable price. Furthermore, one of the people was gluten intolerant and they advised us very well and were very informed.
Very friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Although their menu didn't include many gluten-free dishes, they adapted several and even made me a gluten-free Milanese!
Great experience in a restaurant that you don't expect. A lot of attention to celiacs, they have many gluten-free options and they adapt with cornstarch. Lots of variety and abundant quantity, to repeat
Very good place especially for its terrace, ideal for spring and autumn. The food is varied and there is almost everything gluten-free. Everything we tried was gluten-free and for me it was not as rich and tasty as with gluten but hey, acceptable
I recently visited it with my mother, she has celiac disease and it is very difficult not to get contaminated when eating out. Incredibly, this establishment is very aware of allergens and they take complete care of their customers... We enjoyed a very pleasant meal at the smoking terrace. The treatment with the staff is exquisite, they have conversation and guide you very well if you have never tried Mexican food. The manager, despite suffering from neck pain, did not stop working and that says a lot about the establishment's policy. I hope you are feeling better now, thank you for allowing us to enjoy a splendid Sunday afternoon. It didn't seem expensive at all, we will return for sure. Highly recommended for people looking for education and culture. Tacazzo combines both very well. Thanks again, see you soon!
