This hole in the wall is an amazing find.
The entire menu is gluten-free. They offer several DF dishes as well.
You order as the counter, and then they bring it to your table. The service is really good and they provide carafe of water for the table. They are spot on with refills.
The only down side is the parking. It's all on street.
There is patio and indoor seating.
It's rare to find a restaurant that has more than one dish my wife can have with her dietary restrictions. Brim has several. It was great seeing her gitty looking at a menu.
Always the best food. Very large place with a beautiful patio. It is one of my favorite places to go. Everything is always good. Only took a photo of my item last night which was the shroom burger. Beautiful baguette and tasty cheeses to make it the perfect burger. Friends had a poke bowl, Salad and another burger.
My friend needed Gluten Free and they were helpful.
At the bar they also have THC drinks 🍹 One of my favorite places to get wings. Also one of my favorite appetizers is the Ahi Tuna Crisp.
Servers will help you makes choices if you have not been here. Friendly staff!
This is a great option in the North Loop.
We came on a weekday for lunch and it wasn't crowded at all. The outdoor semi-covered patio in the back was super nice and the food was wonderful. Gluten friendly items are clearly marked on the menu, and there is cross contamination.
Buffalo cauliflower and vegan ranch was to die for! I also had the curry with cauliflower rice and chicken and it was super tasty.

Love love love this place! Amazingly good! The garlic cheese bread is the best ever! The pizza’s are soooo good! They did a wonderful job on the gluten free crust! The atmosphere is adorable and we had the best server ever!
Very GLUTEN-FREE/ DAIRY-FREE friendly! I visited September 7th after work and enjoyed the happy hour menu. Everything was as beautiful as it was scrumptious! I had sushi and the fried chicken and hot sake. I also ordered 1 serving of Uni. It was the perfect after-work treat! I highly recommend this gem. The server/bartender was very knowledgeable about the menu and a cheery, helpful attitude. I will 100% be back as often as I can. Nice portions, delicious sushi!
This is one of the best and most authentic pizza places I have been to. I loved the amount of variety they had for vegetarians and on top of that for vegan and gluten free options. Every single item on the pizza tasted very fresh and melted in the mouth. The server recommended us a local beer and it was amazing as well. Overall a great dining experience after our visit to the nearby Minnehaha Falls. Will surely visit again and wish they had more outlets outside MIneapolis.
My wife and I had the welcome party for our wedding here and Halina and the rest of the Number 12 crew were amazing! Halina took extra care to put together a wonderful charcuterie appetizer for us, and they did a fantastic job accommodating one of our gluten free guests. The space was perfect for mingling with everyone and there was space for the kids to play games outside. I can’t recommend this place enough for an event, or even just a delicious drink!
The gluten free options for this restaurant was the best part of the experience my boyfriend and I had. Although the food was decent, the staff were extremely loud, at some points rude to my boyfriend and I when ordering and asking questions, and also just not being respectful of guests in the restaurant.
Before Curry in a Hurry, I loved going to Gandhi Mahal. When its location was lost in 2020, I was happy they set up this location and go as much as I can. It is my favorite "Indian" food restaurant. (The owners are Bangladeshi so it is technically more Bangladeshi fare). Indian food is usually good in regards to having great gluten free options and Curry in a Hurry is no different. In some ways I like the location and sitting outside during the summer to eat food. I typically eat their Chicken Tika Masala but I have eaten their Chicken Vindaloo. Beware though with the Chicken Vindaloo. I consider myself to have a very high tolerance for hot food, but that Chicken Vindaloo has to be the most punishing spicy food I have ever had in the Twin Cities.
Great breakfast (and lunch) sandwhiches and pastries including gluten free and vegan options. High quality crafted espresso and coffee drinks. Highly recommend for both food and drink options.
Annie was very pleasant and makes a great cocktail. My daughter has Celiac Disease and she was very knowledgeable about gluten free options for her to have. The pasta was fantastic. Thank you for a great lunch!
Consistently excellent burgers - in my opinion the cheeseburger is the way to go. Awesome pickles. This has become our go-to take out spot. At the time of this review, it is also celiac safe, with a dedicated fryer for fries if you request it.
I literally feel like home walking in here. They always have the best attitude making their service unmatched. I am also celiac, and some fast food workers seem to dread the process of having to clean for allergies (I get it, extra work) but they do it with a big smile and asking about your day. Although I’m a regular at this location so it’s my favorite by default, all Jersey Mikes locations have been amazing. Y’all are doing it right, keep it up!
Was actually able to keep it gluten free by just splitting the generous charcuterie board and sausage sampler with a couple of friends (obv I just didn't eat the crackers) and checking out their hard cider menue - lots of selections. Great spot even if you're celiac
Bittersweet dinner at ie as it is closing! 😭 Tremendous food, great gluten free options, and super service. Hope the owner changes his mind... We will miss ie!
Stanley’s has a pretty consistent menu, and while they offer some good vegetarian options, they have been careless with the gluten-friendly side of it. Was poisoned twice, first time they gave me a non-GF bun instead of a GF one like I specified, second time the bartender gave me a random beer instead of cider. Had to forcibly make myself puke in the bathroom from said beer, and the bartender still made me pay for his mistake. A friend of mine who is also celiac was poisoned with a GF bun on a separate occasion. I understand there are risks to eating out with allergies, etc., but this place is way too risky and has made too many mistakes to go back. Last time I went in for a salad they changed the menu and I noticed there are things listed on their menu as “GF” which are in fact not gluten-friendly at all, even with bun/bread substitutes. If you have allergies or are celiac, be very mindful of what you are getting and double check everything if you’re willing to take the risk.
I very rarely write a review regarding a place I frequent as often as I do, May Day, but I felt like it was important to voice my thoughts. To offer gluten free (GF) items is a wonderful thing and something I have appreciated every time I've visited. Today, they had nothing in their inventory of baked goods to offer their celiac customers. Mind you it’s 8 AM on a Saturday. If you are going to offer GF, be consistent.
I went here with family for a birthday celebration dinner a few days ago. Place has a fun vibe to it, good service, and great food. Everyone at my table enjoyed their meals. My husband and I had the juicy loopy, and both of us really liked it. Our table also enjoyed the calamari and black bean dip for starters. They even gave my husband a free little ice cream for his birthday, which he really enjoyed.
I have some dietary restrictions, but the restaurant was easily able to accommodate with a gluten-free bun (that was actually pretty good for being gluten-free) and made sure the seasoning on my food did not have garlic in it. The one area where this restaurant could do even better in the area of dietary restrictions would be to have nutrition info online (including ingredients for each dish or at minimum a list of which common alergens are in each meal), so customers with restrictions can better see which dishes they can or can't eat. I was also a little disappointed that the chef was not able to come up with another fry seasoning with other spices, since I was told I had to order them naked to avoid garlic. A good chef should be able to easily know some other spice combos that don't use garlic or even just salted would be fine. (Example- olive oil, salt, pepper, and parsley are quite good on fries and are common spices to have around.)
We also had a vegetarian at our table and she was very pleased with the large vegetarian selection of menu options here. She ordered the vegetarian "chicken" and rice bowl, and she really liked it.
Overall, this place was very good, and I would come here again. My only minor complaint about the atmosphere was it was super dark inside to the point my dad had to use a flashlight to see the menu. I'd like a bit better lighting in the evening hours. Besides making it hard to read the menu, the darkness inside made it feel a bit gloomy if seated away from a window. Otherwise, this place had fun vibes.
This place rules. The flavors are great, plating is pretty, and the prices are decent. Allergens are carefully marked on the menu, so I was able to find dishes that were dairy-free and gluten-free so my partner and I could share. I've been here a few times and I like to order the shrimp moilee and the lamb roganjosh. I've only been at lunchtime and it's pretty quiet, but the service is great and the food comes out quick.
Charming setting, great food and all around pleasant atmosphere. Right across the viewpoint of the falls in the Mississippi. Food prices are good, service friendly and quick. A great place to relax on a sunny Saturday morning! Many options with gluten and dairy free.
What a fantastic neighborhood coffee shop and eatery! I ordered a lavender latte made with house-made lavender syrup, paired with a breakfast quesadilla - breakfast options are served all day. The menu is straightforward, offering homemade soups, salads, burritos, wraps and sandwiches. If I had to choose a word or two to describe the food offerings, it would be QUALITY INGREDIENTS.
The bakery case is filled with tempting pastries, from scones to coconut macarons, including gluten-free options. They also offer a selection of wine and local beers, along with drinks like kombucha and coconut water, house made lemonade and teas and of course, espresso-based drinks with a few house espresso based specialty drinks like an orange blossom latte. The quality of the coffee and espresso is excellent—it's fair trade, carbon negative, and truly embodies the F.R.C. ethos: Fresh, Local, Independent, with a "tiny footprint."
The café also supports local artists, featuring a monthly rotating exhibit on the walls, with pieces available for purchase directly from the baristas. They offer a great selection of merch, including t-shirts, coffee mugs, and retail coffee, house made granola as well as artisan-made candles and earrings from locals. The seasonal patio is a delightful spot to enjoy your meal, play a little foosball, or just relax.
The staff is warm and welcoming, making this Longfellow neighborhood treasure a must-visit. Five stars for this inclusive gem!
Great experience! They were packed on a Friday night, but the wait was part of the experience. Our server went above and beyond to help me with gluten free and dairy free options which I truly appreciate.
Gigis is a VIBE. The local art is so cool, the people cultivate a good welcoming place in the neighborhood, and the food and coffee are delish! I am celiac and appreciate the many gluten free options including dessert, most of the menu, and soup!!!
Red Wagon never disappoints! We hadn't been since they expanded into the space next door, and our spot at a booth was perfectly family friendly. The pizza dough to entertain our 2-year-old was genius!
The buffalo wings are some of the best in the Twin Cities, and while my first gluten-free pizza came out a tad burnt (those crusts are hard to cook), they graciously made me another and brought out a complimentary order of meatballs so I could eat with my family.
All around, another wonderful experience at Red Wagon! Note that you now need a reservation, so book at least the day before you plan to go.
We had a great experience here, including their accommodation of a friend who is gluten-free because of celiac disease. Terrific food and exceptional service.
They have gluten friendly options! From scones and cupcakes to cookies, they have plenty of options for gluten sensitive needs. The murals on the wall are gorgeous and well worth seeing in person, the baristas are friendly and helpful and, of course, the coffee is delicious. They have outdoor seating available for warmer days and a cute little patio with flowers right next door, making it the perfect place to sit in the early morning sunshine and sip on some coffee.
Gluten free accommodating! Got the tartar app with red wine glazed salmon with a drink, hibiscus margarita. Great atmosphere and overall pleasant vibe. Was busy, but not too loud which I like and appreciate. Not easy to do that. Will go back!

It is always a good day when I ask a restaurant if they have a dedicated GF fryer and the answer is "YES"! I was so pleasantly surprised to hear that I was able to eat the french fries. The server also went out of her way to inform me that the malt vinegar aioli is not gluten free so she substituted it for the herb aioli. The fries were delicious and so crunchy. I also ordered the house white wine which was pretty good for $7 and an extra dirty martini. I didn't like the martini but that's on me because it was my first time ever having one! I cannot wait to go back to try more. The atmosphere is great as well and our server was so kind. The fries came out so quickly!
Good food! Almost always a line and almost always a 20+ minute wait for food, so plan accordingly. Parking can also be difficult during busy times, so plan ahead for that as well.
They have a few gluten friendly options including three types of taco (veggie, Mahi, and shrimp). Good tacos!
This is a great place to eat while spending some time at the lovely park. Minnehaha park and Sea Salt are definitely a Minneapolis destination.
Great food and drinks. Lots of gluten/dairy free options available. Gets very busy, don't be surprised if you have to wait a bit if you plan to sit in.

We had reservations at NoLo but called an audible and went here instead because they had a lot of Gluten Free options.
No regrets, we would definitely go back. We’d go back just for the jerk chicken, so good!
We came to O’Donavan’s not expecting gluten free options but I was blown away by their service and willingness to accommodate me. I ordered a burger with no bun thinking there was no gluten free buns and the server came back out and asked me if I was gluten free and offered a gluten free bun option for me. They also came back out to ask me if it was an allergy or preference and told me they could make the fries separately without a seasoning to make sure it was gluten free for me. The server was super friendly and helpful and told us about other gluten free places to visit while we are in town. I was blown away with the overall experience! I will be recommending to all of my celiac friends :)
Love Nighthawks! Their cocktails are delicious and there have been more and more gluten free options over the last few months. I live close and eat here quite a bit! Great neighborhood vibe and friendly staff.

Great atmosphere, welcoming and kind service, diverse menu, and delicious food! Loved that they also had gluten free options. Highly recommend the Gf flatbread!
The tagliatelle pasta was the best gluten free pasta I've ever had. I really enjoyed the sauce with the garlic cheese bread as well. The wine list is excellent.
