It is located within a large group of food carts. The food carts offer so many options, even vegan and gluten free available. Inside, they have a large seating area with tons of tables and plenty of chairs. Also, have axe throwing available too!

Service has been terrible the past couple years. Unfortunately this is the closest cafe yum to where I have lived for the past 20 years. I used to really love coming here but there was a very unfortunate turn in management around 2021. I can't remember the young gentleman's name but there used to be this really nice guy I think he was a manager he was Mexican younger man and had tattoos. He was an absolute sweetheart and always made sure that my food was actually gluten free/ celiac safe. I have celiacs disease and it's really hard to find somewhere where I can actually eat. I make most of my food at home but it's nice to be able to feel like a normal person and go out to eat every now and then. I have to make sure that whoever is preparing my food is aware of cross-contamination. This isn't a made-up illness this is my life and my health I don't want to be on the toilet or throwing up all day if someone doesn't take me seriously. After that gentleman left in 2021 the new management has been so rude not only that I have been sick several times from eating cafe yum even after requesting my celiac friendly prepared. As much as I have attempted the bowls myself at home I can never get them quite right. The new management is super rude and they are all related to each other either cousins or sisters. Lots of eye rolling and crap talking in Spanish. Here's the thing I'm actually bilingual Even though I'm white, So I know what you're saying. I know it's not easy to work in the service industry. I used to be a waitress myself for many years but please keep rude comments to yourself especially when it's something that somebody can't control like allergies. Be mindful of that next time you're talking shit about someone's allergies and health conditions and overall appearance. It's time to let go of eating at this location off of Millikan.
We were pleasantly impressed with Biscuits Cafe. We didn't know what to expect, as we were visiting Portland on vacation, but all of our food was delicious. The server was personable and responsive. The atmosphere was laid-back and attractive. I am gluten-free and the bread they used for my California Club Sandwich was great. They use real avocados instead of the pre-mushed stuff from a bag. I believe you will be happy you checked them out!
I ordered a vegetarian burger on a gluten free bun, with the works. It was the best gluten free vegetarian hamburger that I have had. It was delicious!
Hot dang! We stopped by here after getting a hankering for fish and chips. I can’t have gluten, but my spouse can. We ordered the haddock in GF and the halibut in the shop’s usual breading. Both were fried to perfection!
Mine needed a little salt, but that might be more to my taste. Yes, it’s a bit greasy… but it’s called the Frying Scotsman for a reason ;) so I think it was perfect. The fish was so good that I didn’t even finish my chips (and I LOVE potatoes!!). Will definitely visit again!
I ordered a veggie platter which had tabouli, 2 falafels, hummus, 2 dolmas, and tzatziki sauce. I added a gluten free naan which I had before and it had been good. This time the naan was hard. I took it back to the counter and he had the waitress bring another one to me. It was more chewy than the last time I had it on a previous visit, chewy almost hard but not as hard as the first that one they served. No one came back to check and see if it was ok. The food was ok other than that, not as flavorful as other places I’ve eaten
We usually love the gluten sensitive pancakes but today they were dry and tough. Our waitress said other customers have said the same thing but the manager says they haven’t changed anything. They did refund our money.
The food at this place is absolutely delicious. We tried a variety of meals and enjoyed them all. The dishes had a great blend of spices and flavors. It's a wonderful spot to dine outdoors and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They also have gluten-free and vegan options available.
I drive by this non-descript restaurant a few times a week and never went in. I went over the weekend with friends who love it and it's easy to see why. I think the food and service is great, atmosphere is more of a bar. However, they do have an outdoor patio that looks nice and it is backed up to a green space which gives it a good vibe and makes it feel private. It had a smoked tritip sandwhich which was frankly excellent. I am gluten free, and they offered GF buns, which is great. GF bread tends to be smaller than normal bread, so you can sometimes feel shorted, but not here - they gave me two buns' worth of sandwiches. Very cool. I will definitely be going back.
Shopped and dined in the area forever, first time in tonight - and it was great! Excellent service, good beer, awesome food (menu was well marked for Vegan and Gluten Free options- of which there was plenty). Service was top notch, including the manager who checked in with us as we were finishing. Will 100% be back
We love this place! We have eaten here twice and I have not gotten sick. I have Celiac disease and they do gluten free right with no cross contamination. Delicious food and great service.
DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. They mess up my order 9/10 times, and this is no exaggeration. To the point that I have only ordered chicken strips for myself for the last year. But, they still mess that up; wrong sauces, wrong drink, missing pieces, missing drinks, etc. How the heck do you screw up chicken strips and fries?? The only reason I have been coming back here for the last year has been because they have gluten-free buns for my digestive intolerant child when we’re in a pinch for dinner and they are the only gluten-free fast food around our house. I dread having Burgerville as my only option. They only pay extra attention to my child’s order because it’s technically an allergy. However, “normal” orders are at the whim of the incompetent and staff and management as there are no repercussions for screwing them up. They just do not care at all. How hard is it to hire someone to check the orders before they go out the door?
We ordered a gluten free Hawaiian as well as a Cesar salad for take out and it was quite honestly one of the worst pizzas my girlfriend and I have ever had. Usually gluten free crusts is hit or miss as far as quality goes but this one tasted lukewarm, spongey, and soggy…just disgusting. On top of that almost half of our pizza didn’t even have cheese on it and the cheese that was on it, completely fell off when we started eating.
Our salad was also totally off. We ordered a Cesar salad and the dressing tasted sour and spicy? Tasted nothing like any Cesar dressing we’ve ever had.
If we’re going to spend $50+ on a meal we expect superior quality, fresh ingredients, and excellent taste and we got nothing close to any of that. We’ve been here multiple times and it’s always been that, but for some reason this time was completely off the mark. We dont plan on coming back any time soon.
Not even my dog wanted to eat this, and she eats everything!!
Delicious! Clearly marked gluten free options. Stuffed salmon was to die for. Normally cannot eat stuffed anything due to usage of bread. Was an awesome experience!!
We have normally taken out from here, and that’s unfortunate since we live ~25 minutes away. Pizza is still good enough to keep us coming back. We ate at the restaurant for the first time when we were closing out a long day, so experienced the pizza piping hot from the oven. As you might expect, this upped the flavor, texture, and everything else immensely.
Pizza crust is the right mix of crispy and chewy, the cupped pepperoni gets the right burnt edges, and they also have good gluten free crust for those needing that (it isn’t just an Udi’s crust that you find many places).
Would recommend joining their free club/text, as you get coupons frequently and the chance to win more.
Seating options are limited (not a big place), with us having chosen sitting at the picnic tables outside (it was one of the first warmer spring days in Portland!).
Great sandwiches here and good prices. This is hidden back in a tucked away little shopping center and it's sort of hard to find but it is very good.
Service can be a bit slow but I also come at very busy times.
They have gluten free bread options for sandwiches. It's really small slices but they make it work.
It's worth a stop!
The hand pulled noodles are glorious! And a level 1 spice was just enough for a little kick without having to ask for milk (I'm a bit of a baby when it comes to spice). Amazing portion sizes! I noticed they have non-gluten and vegetarian options as well (though they disclaim allergy safety due to shared environment/equipment). Left with a full stomach and plans to return!
Quick review: Not for the gluten intolerant. Overrated. I've gone here three times and have been very disappointed every time. For example, on no occasion was I able to get something chocolate that didn't have gluten in it. The first time I went, I was told that fact, and so I asked for a chocolate milkshake, which I discovered after purchasing sitting in car was made with chocolate brownie ice-cream. Duh! The last time I went was the same situation, and so I got a scoop of vanilla with chocolate syrup. The texture was really good, but the flavor was really lacking, as was the chocolate syrup. This place appears great, with really cool sounding flavors, but it just doesn't deliver.
Karim was a great server, so kind and attentive. Sam was the BEST ever at the grill! He made the night so fun with his tool show and including us in conversation at the table. We also had a celiac person and they did great to accommodate us.
A fantastic Indian food cart that has popped up in the area recently. Food quality and taste is absolutely amazing, with large portions offered for very reasonable pricing. My spouse and I had been bummed since our favorite local indian restaurant closed down a year or two ago, but this food truck has definitely come along and filled that void.
Owner was knowledgeable about gluten, and was able to confirm that the vast majority of the menu is gluten free. I personally haven't had any sort of reaction yet, so the food seems safe for those with gluten sensitive issues. Service is always pleasant as well, with us always having a positive experience ordering.
Overall Curry On is a great spot that's definitely going to become a staple for us, with very tasty and filling meals that don't break the wallet.
There is often a wait here, but it's worth it! Delicious food, caring hosts and waitstaff, and there's always leftover food to bring home. We appreciate the gluten free options, too.

Our family has visited this place 3 times and all times have gotten the same consistent great service, from the hostess to the waiters, and the same quality and tasty food. We’ve tried dishes such as the Calamari appetizer (not gluten free), Simply Grilled Seasonal Salmon (Gluten Free), Cajun Seared Fish Street Tacos, and Parmesan Crusted Sole. We had no complains on the dishes. They are delicious, consistently taste the same and offer the same quality every time. I also found the selection of non-alcoholic drinks such as the Blackberry Basil Lemonade a nice touch and a great option over the same old fountain sodas. We also thought the atmosphere was well thought out and conducive to conversation and a pleasant stay. In general this is a place we will visit again and I recommend you do too!
This is a great spot! The main draw for me is the cocktails - the new bar manager has put a ton of effort and creativity into the menu, and there are a lot of amazing drinks that even the nerdiest cocktail aficionado would appreciate. I'm celiac and there is really only one option on the menu, so I don't know that I'll be back for that reason. The atmosphere is bit loud, but my husband's ramen and the drinks were fantastic.
Good breakfast restaurant for waffles waffles waffles. I don't eat gluten so menu options were limited. I ended up with hashbrowns and sausage patty. Nothing fancy but tasted good.
So happy to have found a new place to get REAL falafel! This is some of the best falafel you can find in the metro area! It's made from "scratch" (not a dry mix) it doesn't have any fillers (bread crumbs, etc.) it's gluten free, vegan, and "cooked to order". You can get it in a sandwich, in a salad, and even a side of 10 pieces of falafel. The owner makes a nice green tahini sauce for the falafel (you can get traditional tahini if you prefer). It's not greasy, it's not heavy, and it's spiced just right.
I tried some samples of chicken and beef shawarma which were very tasty! Will have to try a shawarma sandwich next visit! This is a good place to get "take out", but they have some tables and chairs if you want to eat there (good to eat this stuff while it's HOT), It's next door to the Joy Theater so suggest it for a quick bite to eat before a movie! (better than popcorn and candy!!)
Prices are VERY low.... lots of desserts I didn't try (yet). Good quality middle eastern food in a modest, clean and friendly environment.
Welcome to Tigard Falafel Express! Hope you'll be around for a LONG time!
This is my 2nd time coming here. First time for brunch. The gluten free waffles are to die for! Service was fabulous. Everyone is so friendly & also loved the quick response to my Facebook question asking if they had gluten free options.
DO NOT get a gluten free sandwich here..... 15.50 and it's not good! The bread was soggy, terrible tasting and soooooo small! 2-3 inches smaller then a regular sub.
