Today is my Mom's 75th birthday.
She has food allergies, so I expect to pay more for a good cake.
I ordered a small chocolate cake with vanilla frosting that's also gluten/soy/corn free. With the extra $15 for corn-free powdered sugar I paid $79. I told them it was for a celebration and asked them to put a 75 on top. They told me that, due to the ingredient limitations, they couldn't color the frosting and that the 75 would be white on white. I approved that and told them to just make it look nice.
This is what I got. Did a professional decorator do this? It's yellow (is that even safe to eat based on what they told me on the phone when I ordered?). It's not proportional. It isn't even remotely celebratory looking. I could've done it better myself. I'm so disappointed. 3 stars because at least the cake is good.

Absolutely amazing food. Genuine people with phenomial service. Generous portion sizing. I had a gluten free Bulgogi Burger and it BLEW MY MIND!!! So incredibly delicious and the sweet potato fries were great. Outdoor and indoor seating. Indoor seats are pretty sparse but the decor is super clean and welcoming. My celiac partner can eat here without issue too!!
Best gluten free pizza my girlfriend has ever had she says. My more traditional combo pizza was excellent. They didn't charge us a fee to reserve the birthday room and it was super bowl Sunday so that was on the TV. This place is awesome
Red Robin is always a great experience for us!
My husband and I took my friend to lunch on this occasion.
She had the monster burger on gluten-free bun and garlic fries.
I had the shroom burger and sweet potato fries and coffee. My husband had some sort of hot spicy burger and garlic fries and coffee.
Our server Michelle was very personable and answered all our questions.
The manager asked us how we were doing.
The three of us enjoyed our lunch.
Their gluten free pastries that are not packaged come in from the bakery in the same boxes as regular pastries and are stored with regular pastries. cross contamination central!

Sunday at Noon, what a great experience. We were greeted promptly, and discussed seating options. We chose to sit at the fireplace table in the bar.
Great atmosphere, excellent server, good selection (including Gluten Free).
We ordered Habanero Prawns (so good), divorciadas enchiladas (chicken) and a shrimp salad. A mule for me, and a Sangria for her.
It was all perfect! We will definitely be back!
I always forget to snap pics before I start eating.... and this is no exception.
Trust me ... it looked nice, but it tasted even better!
Gluten free options and knowledgeable. You can’t have the chips. I had the steak verde enchiladas and they were amazing! Had to go back 2x in one week! 👏🏼
We enjoyed sitting on the patio on a nice day. Seafood was fresh, my party was happy with our choices of Lobster Roll (add the tempura green beans for $3!), Northwest Seafood Stew, and Seafood Nachos. Service was great - the server went to the kitchen to confirm whether a dish is gluten-free dish.
I love this restaurant! I've been here a couple times and I've never been disappointed! They have a great selection of gluten free options and the staff is so helpful and accommodating! 5 stars :)
Excellent Halal / Middle Eastern food, a great value for the money. I eat gluten-free, so I ordered their Lamb Shawarma meal and had them sub in a bit more rice and salad instead of the pita. The meal came in an aluminum tray that was chock full of delicious seasoned rice, hummus, tasty tender lamb and a wonderful Greek type salad with Tzatziki. For a lighter eater such as myself, this lunch will make two meals. This is now my 2 “go-to” fave place near my office.

A favorite for ramen with perfectly jammy seasoned soft-boiled eggs. Have enjoyed the spicy less sodium ramen and the garlic tonkotsu shoyu less sodium ramen both with gluten free yam noodles. Lots of topping options available. Will sometimes will add the woodear mushrooms or an extra egg. This is a fun place to go with a group, but is also a great place for single dining with counter seating. Service is quick, friendly, and are knowledgeable for gluten free diners. To go orders are done extremely well – the broth container did not leak, the ramen bowl was big enough to hold the entire meal, and a complete utensil set including a broth spoon, chopsticks, napkin, and a toothpick was included.
Pretty good food, considering they used to be almost entirely breakfast focused.
I would start by saying that the menu has grown to a proportion that starts to give choice paralysis from decision fatigue. The size of the menu also gives some worry about the quality of the food as the cooks will have to worry about such a variety. This was evident in my burger.
The burger I ordered was well done, which is a little bit of a drag, but it didn't ruin it. I imagine a smaller and more concise menu would allow the cooks to spend more time making sure each item has the proper care.
The inclusion of various hot sauce types is a nice touch. As a spice lover, it's refreshing to have options other than plain old Tabasco.
The inclusion of gluten-friendly options is always nice to see, I'll be able to invite my friend with celiac here.
I'm a little confused by the IHXP partnership with Microsoft and Xbox. We didn't have game controllers to play video games in our booth, and the only effect we saw was the staff's t-shirt mentioning the partnership and the included printout on the table.
I think it's pretty rad that they do a pancake of the month, and it reminds us that this used to just be the House of Pancakes, (International).
Overall, the experience was a mixed bag. It was busy on a Sunday, which made the atmosphere noisy and busy, but I guess that just means that their business tactics are working. The staff were all friendly and attentive, the food tasted pretty decent, and they weren't at all upset about the fact that my friend wanted to stay longer than our meal to have our meeting there.
We stumbled across this space looking for coffee one afternoon, and so glad we did! The owner was so friendly, we got a couple of gluten free treats (yummy donut!) and the coffee was really good! Bought a couple of non-alcoholic things to try at home (so cool it's an NA place, their selection is wild!) and have been really enjoying those at home! Will be back next time we are in Tacoma!
Shoutout to the team that was there today! I have a gluten allergy and they were so careful and cleaned everything off for me even tho they were slammed. They sent me off with a tasty sandwich, well worth the wait! These people are working hard and it's good to be patient with everyone. Thank you for taking the time to make everything clean and safe for us gluten intolerant people! 💕
