Rick's place is an absolute gem!
We recently visited and had the most amazing night!
The food was exceptional with delicious options that cater for lots of different dietary requirements.
We needed gluten, dairy and onion free, and had the first dining experience where this was "too easy" and we felt like the inclusion and not exclusion.
Rick and Andy are warm, friendly, attentive and genuinely thoughtful, making us all feel so welcome. They take so much pride in providing a fantastic dining experience for all.
Couldn't recommend Rick's Place enough!
Looking forward to our next visit!
Customer service was good. All sweet items tasted like early 2000s gluten free cooking. Weird aftertaste and tastes a like a lot of baking soda. We’ve come so far for gluten free food and this just felt like a step back in time. Meat pie and sausage roll were alright.
A fantastic range of delicious foods that many have written off as a lost treat. They have a huge selection to take right away, frozen product to prepare at home, and a menu of more that can be prepared for you. Anyone who has a gluten allergy should make this spot a regular visit.
Total ripoff trying to charge $6 for a different type of flour. This is unjustifiable. You don't prey on people with a 25% fee because they're born allergic to gluten. It tastes worse, never has a good texture and you want people to pay more for the suffering? No thanks.
What a find!
After finding our usual Italian restaurant closed, we decided to try Pizza Adamo after reading some pretty fabulous reviews.
Wow. How fabulous!! The atmosphere is lovely, dim lighting, quite nice volume of chatter and laughter amongst patrons and staff. Superb service from everyone that floated past our table.
The food (all gluten free) was simply amazing. The pizza base was the most normal base I have tasted in a long time and the pasta was delicious.
Coffee was great too!!
I think we may have found a new Italian regular restaurant!!
Highly recommended!!
We stopped here for dinner after the penguin parade. The food was really delicious and I wish I'd been hungrier. My friend's gluten-free pizza base was surprisingly fluffy, so kudos to the restaurant for nailing that.
Best gluten free pizza and sauce was sooo good. Adding it to my favourites, I can see myself going again and again. Location is great close to the beach. Love it !!
The best gluten free vegan pizza you can find anywhere. Plus also the normal pizza is pretty great. And they have my fav organic brand of chinotto and soft drink. Bravi
Booked a table for 3 on 22/09/24 based off the recommendation from Atly. This trip to Melbourne had been amazing so far, but unfortunately despite letting the wait staff know I was GF, I had a reaction here. Was quite sad given the feedback from other users, and the food tasted really nice. Not sure what it was, but it was (barramundi, gf bread and olives, gf marg pizza), but something got me good

Booked for a party of 30- mix of adults and kids.
Service was fast. Food was delicious. Staff were very accommodating. 10/10 experience.
I have a happiness free sister and she mentioned that she didn't have many options as a gluten, dairy free vegetarian.
Will absolutely consider for future functions.
I was walking past and the staff assured me they could do gluten and dairy-free. Then pointed out the suitable options on the menu. I had the Paella, they confirmed it would be safe for me and it was delicious.
I had the pork belly. It was beautiful. Service was great. Unfortunately, the gluten free options you had a year ago were the best and we were at that time coming more frequently.
A lovely little Italian restaurant: Pizza and Gnocchi Bar. We shared a few plates of Gnocchi and a pizza in biancho (not tomato based). Between 3 of us. Absolutely scrumptuous food within an absolutely delightful atmosphere. Plenty of different sauces to accompany gnocchi. Simple, yet genuine, tasty yet not over the top. Little pillow puffs that were soft and light...only 10% flower and gluten free apparently. Coming from an Italian background, we do make home made gnoccli from scratch. Despite Gemma's rendition being different they were very appetising and lovely to eat. Probably one of my favourite dishes to eat at home and I never order them when dining out as it's rare to find them so good.
The porcini pizza was in bianco as I've mentioned. Subtle flavours with the essence of truffle oil which is my favourite. Absolutely very yummy. The base was was light thin yet fluffy around the crust. It can be made with a gluten free option if you prefer.
The chef also provided us with arancini as an entre. I absolutely loved them...hope they get back onto the menu in the future. The green chilli oil was also an excellent accompanyment to our meal especially with the garlic focaccia.
As far as service goes, it was exceptional during our dinner. Thankyou and I look forward to the next dine in experience.
We recently held my father’s wake at The Victoria Hotel in Woodend, with close to 400 people in attendance, and I cannot thank Emily and Tash enough. They are, hands down, one of the most amazing and supportive teams I’ve ever come across. Everything ran so smoothly—from the service to the atmosphere—but what truly stood out was the care and attention they gave to our family.
They made sure we were eating, had a drink in hand, and never once let the scale of the event affect the warmth and personal attention they offered. A special thank you for the thoughtful care shown to me as a coeliac—it meant so much.
We’ve had countless comments from guests about how beautiful the venue and service were. Thank you again, Emily and Tash—you helped us honour Dad in the most wonderful way. Highly recommend.
Had a birthday dinner with family and friends. They food was fantastic and catered well for gluten free and vegetarian diets. The service was amazing, attentive without being overly invasive.
I run the Melbourne_Coeliac Instagram and this place makes the best gluten-free Pizzas I have ever had!!! They are great at catering to coeliacs and avoiding CC but using different cooking tools and separate cooking areas. It's my favourite place for a cheaky feed!!
I've ordered take-away pizza twice and both were sensational. Even better, we've only ordered the gluten free base and both my partner and my cousin commented they couldn't believe it was GF and how good it was. Particularly love the Roma pizza but will make my way through the whole menu! We definitely need to dine-in soon.
I came upon this place by chance and ordered a gluten free pizza. It was so delicious! I really enjoyed the flavour of the toppings and the texture of the crust: authentic and flavoursome. The service was really prompt, which was quite an achievement in itself as the owner was working on his own and had so many orders to fill. I highly recommend trying the food there.
We were accosted at the door at 5.30pm that we had to be out at 7pm.
No hello, no welcome, not even wait for us to get to the table. Just make sure to get the heck out??
Well don't worry we won't bother returning. This in itself wouldnt be a deal breaker but the food was subpar bordering gross. The gluten free menu isnt gluten free, it's just low gluten.
When ordering a Pinot grigio, it tasted like a watered down chardonnay. Good luck if you dare go here.
The pizzas were phenomenal! We had a coeliac guest and the gluten free pizza base was the best we have ever come across. The pasta was soooo good as well. The staff were lovely and friendly and the dining room was cosy and warm with great decor and music in the background. Can't wait to go back!
My pizza (Vesuvius) looked great but was extremely salty, most likely due to anjovis that had not been soaked. This pizza was also supposed to contain gorgonzola but I did not detect any, possibly because the anjovis taste might have overwhelmed the gorgonzola taste but I also did not notice any gorgonzola visually.
My wife's gluten free pizza was much smaller, and there was not as much toppings as you would have expected for the price (especially considering that there was a $4 surcharge on the gluten-free base). All pizza prices seemed to be about $5 higher compared to other pizzerias of similar quality that we have recently visited.
Service was very friendly but it took longer than expected to place our order - and get a drink while we were waiting for our meals. In fact my beer arrived after I had received my pizza.
By far the best gluten free pizza I have tasted and I've tried a few. Atmosphere was fantastic, staff were all extremely friendly and accommodating. When I asked a few questions about the pizza oven (we've recently bought a wood fired oven for home) we were invited into the kitchen and shown the oven and given some great advise. Lovely people and an awesome place to go for a feed when in town....thank you.
First time trying this place through a delivery app. The gluten free margherita was nice. One star deducted because the entire edge of the crust was burnt - I don't expect to pay good money for burnt food.
One of the yummiest pizzas I’ve ever eaten! I’m gluten-free, and the gluten-free options were really wonderful. Also, the cauliflower bites were unreal!
