Julia made this an incredible experience! I am so grateful for Julia and The Mule, as a celiac and anaphylactic to Peanuts and Tree Nuts, my time finding restaurants that I feel truly safe is rare. This was the first place in Canada where I felt that safety to just explore the menu, relax, and enjoy. Everyone that came to our table was kind, informed, and awesome! Also the food IS AMAZING! Best tacos I’ve had in Ontario. Thank you again to Julia and the team for making a memorable meal and amazing experience. Will be coming back to Hamilton just for The Mule!

As a celiac, I was almost glutened here. When I asked a server if the beer was gluten free, I was told everything on the menu was. But when my lager arrived, the bottle listed barley. I double checked with another server, who confirmed it wasn’t gluten free, apologized, and kindly brought me a quinoa-based beer instead (which was good, just a little warm). I don’t want to be too harsh. Overall, the food was great, and it’s such a gift to have a spot where I can enjoy a tres leches cake without fear. But this experience is a good reminder to always double check, even in places that seem safe. It also highlights how important it is for all staff to be fully trained on gluten and allergens.

Always fantastic food and friendly service! Online stuff needs work though - online ordering perpetually says "coming soon" and the website menu is often out of date. But I'll give them a pass for that because the ability to go to a restaurant as a celiac and safely order anything I want off the menu is so fantastically wonderful I can't take a star off for such a small oversight.

Just had an amazing experience at Selia Bar and had to share! The entire place is 100% gluten free, which was such a relief — no need to worry about cross-contamination at all. It’s so refreshing to be able to choose anything from the menu without second-guessing or stressing. There were so many delicious options to pick from, and everything we tried was fantastic. Our server, Erick, was absolutely wonderful — friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience even better with his thoughtful service. If you’re looking for a safe and genuinely enjoyable place to eat out, I highly recommend Selia Bar. I left feeling full, happy, and totally at ease.

My wife has been wanting to try this place for a little while now! It was worth the wait! She found out about it on Tic Toc! We had an awesome meal with all the dips! This place is 100% gluten free. My wife is just figuring out about gluten and she had a complete worry free dinner!! We had the Dip Dip Dip hooray and we tried 4 different kinds of tacos! Well priced, amazing service and the food is absolutely amazing! 10/10!!

What a cool restaurant, I loved the decor. I equally love that everything is gluten free as it's difficult to avoid contamination. The sweet potato halloumi taco was mine and my fiance's fav and the Baddy Addy Red Pepper Marg had really good and interesting flavours!

We’ve dined at The Mule many times and it has been our go-to restaurant for eating out, especially since both my daughter and I are celiac and have always appreciated your gluten-free options and care. Unfortunately, our most recent visit to the Cambridge location was disappointing. The service fell very short of what we’ve come to expect. Our server got our drink orders wrong twice, and there was a noticeably long wait for our meals, despite the fact that the restaurant was not busy at all. We’ve always valued The Mule for its reliability and attentiveness, especially given our dietary needs, which makes this experience all the more disappointing We may not be returning.

Ordered takeout. Process was easy and quick. Food arrived fresh and warm. I love that everything is gluten-free but the flavor wasn't for me. All five of my tacos were overtaken by a sweetness that made it hard to discern the flavor difference between them. I prefer savory tacos.

Wow! We are completely in love with this place! We stopped by for Father's Day because my husband is celiac, and we were so thrilled with the experience. First of all, we absolutely loved that they have separate fryers, and had already heard great things about the care they take with gluten-free food - they did not disappoint! There were so many amazing options. I’m now officially obsessed with their Beet & Pear salad, I was literally texting my friends while eating it because it was that good. My husband had the gluten-free chicken burger, which was super flavourful and perfectly crispy. And our toddler had the gluten-free chicken fingers and mac & cheese, she can be a picky eater, but she gobbled it all up! To top it off, we had the London Fog Crème Brûlée - not only was it delicious, but the portion was huge! We loved the whole experience and will definitely be back. I wish I had snapped a photo of the salad, but I did get one of the crème brûlée!

I am embarrassingly obsessed with the sriracha pineapple cauliflower wings here. They’re gluten-free, dairy-free, sweet, spicy, crispy, and served on a bed of crunchy kale. It’s technically an appetizer it’s honestly a full meal lol. The portion is huge and so so good. Whenever I’m hungry and don’t know what I want, my boyfriend knows to just pick these up for me and I’ll be a happy girl. We’re moving out of the city soon, so they shared the recipe for the wings and the sauce with me for when I’m craving it - 10/10 staff. Whether you're plant-based or not, get them.

As a vegetarian visiting St. John's I was bit concerned about food selections for myself but Nook and Cannery was such a delight. The vibes were immaculate and the food was incredible. They offer many ways to adjust meals to suit vegetarians, vegans and gluten-free folks. My favourite meal during my trip!

Food is decent. It's great that they have a gluten free eggs benny. Potatoes were definitely undercooked. It is always busy and a zoo to get in - not necessarily worth the wait to get in.

Absolutely some of the most delicious food I had in my life! I had the Mexican street tacos, which was not a big portion, but the flavour was immense. I travel a lot and this place is outstanding, I will be back bringing 10 friends! 🤩🤩🤩 I only wished I had eaten here before so many times! Gluten-free by default and lots of dairy-free options. I even had room for delicious gluten-free dairy-free fried plantain for dessert with agave syrup subbed for the chocolate and whip. Yummy!! 😋 No wonder they won so many awards!

So happy to find gluten free options. Raspberry cheesecake was good. Nanaimo bar was flavourless. When I was young they had a barely-sweet, chocolate graham cracker base, custard buttercream layer (sweet) and real semi sweet chocolate on top. Now, everywhere not just here, they have no contrast, every layer is sweer, no custard taste and the base is greasy like a keto fat-bomb. Curious if this was a change to the original recipe or new style of Nanaimo bar?

Surf is truly a gem in downtown Whitby. If you’re looking for a place to grab some excellent cocktails and amazing SoCal style small plates and shareables, this is where you wanna be. They do a feature cocktail each week to keep it fresh (which you can find on their Insta) and everything they serve is made in-house (plus, their entire menu is 100% gluten free). The staff are all super friendly and very knowledgeable when it comes to the drinks and food. If you come by in the summer they have a really beautiful back patio, too. All around just a really amazing place that you should check out if you’re looking for a nice cocktail bar/restaurant in Durham.

Small town diner vibes. Celiac friendly restaurant. The fryers are naturally gluten free. I got the fried chicken sandwich with slaw and it was stunningly good with a surprisingly very good ciabatta like gluten free bun. Lots of gluten free options on the menu too. This will be my main stop through Pemberton from now on!

Anthony was an amazing server ! Checking in on us but not interrupting us at the same time ! I am celiac and was able to eat at this restaurant, the staff made me feel heard about my allergy and reassured me with the measures they would take to make my meal safe. Great place to go! We always come here when we are in town because they are so good at dealing with our celiac kiddos. Our server, I think Dexter, was fantastic and attentive. Highly recommend a visit. The huevos rancheros on the brunch menu were excellent.

Super fun place, great food, great service. Had a blast. 100% Gluten Free. Huge, varied menu. Great cocktails, lots of flavours of margaritas. All serviced super fast, super friendly. LOVED the food here! I am celiac and they were able to really cater to gluten free options. I got the beef taco bowl with the dirty rice and it was delicious!! I also didn't get sick so I would reccomend this place to other celiacs. Our server was really lovely and friendly, and she helped to explain the menu and how different items could be altered for me. I didn't get her name, but she is from Germany and I'd love for The Taco Club to know what an excellent job she does! Highly recommend!!

Upon arriving, the hostess was great. Our server, Taylar, is a gem! Very knowledgeable, polite, and very pleasant. I wasn’t sure what to order and she pointed out some great items from the gluten free menu. I was very pleased to see such a great variety. She was very attentive to our needs and made sure she checked in at appropriate times. We always love going to GT’s. The food, drinks, music, and above all, the staff are great.

Picked up a gluten free lunch today, $30 for 1 meal is kinda ridiculous. I got pasta with the burger and it was an added $8 up charge to get a small portion of gross pasta. The pasta was horrible, very clearly reheated (not well) and definitely a day or 2 old. I could have made Kraft dinner that tasted better than their barely reheated pasta. I don’t know if they changed chefs but their pasta used to be amazing. Very disappointing

So glad this place exists! The food is phenomenal and everything is vegan. They also have many gluten free options that aren't marked on the menu (you can ask when you call or ask a waiter.tress on site).

Wonderful staff. Nice atmosphere. Im a celiac and have other allergies. Our waitress was very knowledgeable on the menu and that most items are Gluten Free. This was our first time visiting and we will definitely be the food. The guacamole is amazing!!!!
